We were a party of 6 adults on vacation. DJ was super easy to deal with and quick to respond to any questions. The condo was great for our needs. We loved the ocean view - especially to watch the beautiful sunsets! We appreciated having some beach gear and used the pool and BBQs and made many meals in the kitchen. Sending much love back to Maui for the recovery from the wildfires.

Our family of 8 adults spent the last week in this Wailea condo. We had a great time here. The location was ideal. The grounds were beautiful. Amazing beaches are a 15 minute walk down the hill. MonkeyPod with their famous lilikoi foam topped mai tais is a 5 minute walk north. The Shops of Wailea is also close by. This condo made an ideal base for us. We hope to stay here again soon!

This place was great for our 3 night stay. Nice view of the ocean from the lanai. We cooked only one meal in and kitchen was well stocked with what we needed. House was clean and had plenty of beach towels. Nice stay overall!

Beautiful property. Wonderfully furnished, spacious, and light. More than enough room for four adults and three active children. My son-in-law could even find a quiet spot to work on his course work for grad school. We made lots of memories. Mahalo!

Excellent place. It was a very clean, newly renovated place.
The pool was perfect for the kids. There is a public bbq place where we made dinner a few evenings.
There was a stunning view for the sunset every night. The rental had beach chairs available. Great family rental place.

What a beautiful place! We truly enjoyed our 3 night stay here. It was our home base as we enjoyed the Road to Hana, Haleakala sunset and Molokini snorkeling. We loved coming back to cozy beds, awesome water pressure and a great kitchen! Mahalo!

We had a great stay at this condo. The unit was recently renovated with beautiful new furnishings and accents. The owners were very accommodating and quick to reply to all needs. The location includes easy access to a couple of pools which were very convenient and beautifully landscaped, as was the entire property. The lanai had a partial ocean view, as did the unit itself, which allowed for pleasant ocean breezes to enjoy. Really a very nice stay, and our kids had a great time.

Lovely condo with easy access to Wailea restaurants and shops and nearby beach access. Owner’s thoughtful touches are found throughout the home and in their communication before and during our stay. We enjoyed our time and the chance to get out to snorkel, scuba and hike in beautiful Maui!

We truly enjoyed our stay ! We had plenty of room for 3 adults and 2 teenagers. Having the beach chairs and gear was a nice bonus for the many days we spent at the beach! Condo is well equipped and everything we needed in the kitchen. Great access to many beaches , hotels and a short drive to Kihei where we went to dinner multiple times.
Great time had by whole family ! We will definitely return!!

Our family of three spent 2 weeks at the condo in beautiful Maui. The condo was as expected from the pictures. We spent a lot of time on the upper lanai with amazing sunsets. We appreciated that a lot of toilet paper, soap, dishwasher soap, cleaning products were provided. The kitchen is equipped enough to cook meals comfortably. The unit is only a few steps from the pool. The pool area was very quiet and clean and we were almost alone there all the time.
The condo could have been a little cleaner. On the surface everything is fine but it needs an in- depth cleaning. The walls paint is tired and everything would benefit from a little love and refresh.
The lower lanai orientation is really not ideal. It is very dark and not inviting and we spent no time there.
Overall, our stay was positive and we enjoyed the unit and its convenient location.

Our stay was amazing at this VRBO. DJ was great with communication and the place was exactly what we viewed online. The view from upstairs was amazing! The kitchen was well stocked. This VRBO is in an excellent location to many beaches, shops, restaurants, etc. with the option for pool time on site too. Our family absolutely loved our stay! Much mahalo!

We had a great time staying at DJ’s! The condo is super nice, clean, and has everything you need. There’s even a smart tv for when you’re too tired to go out at night! It’s about an hour from everywhere we wanted to go, so it’s a great location if you’re trying to hit the whole island and see everything. DJ was great at communicating and had plenty of good recommendations on where to go and what to do. It’s near a bunch of the nice hotels, so if you have a larger budget you can go eat at their fancy restaurants (we didn’t have a larger budget 🤣) and if you don’t have a larger budget, you can use the fully stocked kitchen to make meals and take them with you as you explore the island!

Lovely, spacious home in a fabulous location. This was a great spot for a family with two older teens. Location was super convenient for exploring the island. Views of the ocean and sunsets from the upper balcony were amazing. The kitchen was well stocked and having multiple beach towels, chairs and boogie boards was a bonus. The on-site pools were peaceful in the early morning and for late night swims. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a Wailea rental.

It was the first time for us to try renting off Vrbo and finding DJ's listing in Wailea, we weren't sure what to really expect. But right off the bat, DJ was a great communicator and even better host! He responded to any questions or requests I had with quick efficiency. His listing is exactly as described and we would definitely love to be back and to book with him again! This townhouse was the most expensive of our three rentals during a one-month stay in Hawaii. It also was the only disappointment. The photos showing a view of the ocean from the upper lanai are accurate. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets. But this house is a long hike from the ocean for anyone carrying towels, beach chairs and snorkeling equipment – too long for us. Instead of hearing the surf, we heard the constant noise of traffic on a nearby busy road. In general, the house was clean and reasonably well stocked with essentials as well as beach equipment. The landscaping surrounding the multi-building residential complex was lush and well-tended. But the house itself is run down. In the refrigerator: a door shelf was broken off, a drawer front was cracked, and the ice maker wasn’t working. In the dishwasher, the top shelf sagged, threatening to collapse while loaded, so we used only the bottom shelf for the most part. On our first day, a cupboard shelf collapsed. On sliding doors to the ground-floor lanai, one lock was broken; the other door was stuck and difficult to move. In each of the two windowless bathrooms, a single switch operated the only light and a cheap, noisy ceiling fan; one fan screeched so loudly that we took flashlights to use the room rather than suffer the noise. Beyond disrepair, the kitchen was stocked with cheap plastic dishes and “glasses.” After the ice maker started spewing water, DJ (the host) sent a repair person who fixed the sliding doors and removed the ice maker. That was it. No offer to furnish packaged ice or even ice cube trays. DJ did offer to send a cleaner to fix the collapsed cupboard shelf; but we had fixed the shelf and cleaned up the mess ourselves. DJ also contacted us 11 days into our 13-day stay to say that a new ice maker could be installed right away. We declined because we had purchased enough ice to last those days, and we had had enough of dealing with maintenance problems.

This condo is well appointed, but the bottom floor is very dark. The upstairs ( very steep staircase) is open and lovely with a smallish balcony that faces dense foliage but has an ocean view from the side. Although the condo is showing it’s age, it has everything for a comfortable stay except body soap, so bring that! It’s definitely walkable to the beach, to the shops and to restaurants and an expensive but well stocked market and supply of take out food.

Aloha! This property is just lovely…the owners have thought of everything we could have desired…so many little extras, immaculately clean, lovely location in the heart of Wailea, lots of extras that other properties might not provide…everything you could need for a perfect beach day-umbrella, chairs, cooler, wave boards, towels-a stocked kitchen with many extras, cozy blankets, lush gardens in the complex…pure joy! It was the perfect size for our family of six! Loved having twos and a half bathrooms and two lanais. So close to groceries, upscale shopping, beach walk, beaches, and good communication with owner. Mahalo…we can’t wait to return!

This property was perfect for a week's stay with my wife and two teenagers. Located close to the shops of Wailea, great beaches, and plenty of shopping and dining. Parking was a breeze, checkin and checkout was smooth, and the convenient location really let us enjoy our stay.
The condo matches the pictures. It's a great layout, recently remodeled, and very well equipped. It was very comfortable, with AC in the bedrooms and upstairs and a fan in each room. Really enjoyed our stay!

We came here for a wedding for my daughter and had the family in the house. The location is great and close to many restaurants and a mall. The house is really nice. Well done and the owner is extremely responsive and helpful. We will stay here again when we are back on the island.

Four of us stayed at the condo and really enjoyed our stay. Condo was VERY WELL stocked and communications from the owners was great. Really like the location as you have ocean views from the upstairs lanai and you can drive to a couple of beaches in minutes. Plus Kihei is a very short drive where you can find a lot of restaurants, shopping and grocery stores plus more great beaches. Two pools on property were clean and close by. I definitely recommend this condo if you want to have a great experience in Maui.

Truly a 5 star place in Wailea that is very family friendly. The place itself is beautiful with ocean views, onsite pool if needed for the kiddos, easy access to multiple beach (we went to 3 and loved them all), close to shops, restaurants, and pretty much an oasis in paradise itself.

Great property. Very clean. Excellent communication. Awesome for our 2 two year olds, 4 year old and 5 year old. Reverse floor plan was excellent. Put the kids to bed and then the adults could socialize. Totally recommended it for two families traveling together.
