The complex is perfect from which to explore the entire island. The grounds, the landscaping, the heated pool, and the beach are fantastic. Lae Nani is also nicely secluded with the walking and biking path diverting behind it and not in front of it. Nearby Coconut Marketplace and restaurants, including Lava Lava Beach Club, are all with easy walking distance. We met many wonderful residents and visitors, some of whom have been visiting Lae Nani every year for 25 years, which shows how great this complex is. On that note, the Lae Nani staff, from managers to gardeners to security, were wonderfully welcoming, helpful, and extremely pleasant. The unit is nicely situated and is bigger than it appears in the pictures, which was a welcome surprise. It is also very nicely decorated (we loved the Hawai’ian-themed memorabilia and framed prints). We appreciated how well-equipped 211 was from the kitchen (the fridge’s built-in icemaker was very handy when mixing cocktails) to the bathroom (great shower pressure), with plenty of towels, beach and snorkeling gear, including Tommy chairs and cooler etc. The king bed was super comfortable, so much so that we invested in a similar mattress-topper when we returned home! The hosts were very pleasant to deal with and provided many helpful suggestions about what to see and do and where to dine, and have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Will rent this unit again on our next visit.

I have nothing but great things to say about this rental! The size is perfect for a long term or short term stay. The location was in the perfect spot to travel around the island, feeling as though it was right in the middle of both directions and the airport. The unit itself was so quiet, on the corner, and the walkout was great to head to the beach. Stores were close, parking was super easy, and there’s a beach walk not far!
I could go on and on about it, but I will say this- when my husband and I come back to Kauai, this is where we will stay!

Upon arrival, the condo needed a bit of cleaning but was taken care of in a timely manner. Owner was very responsive. Central location on the island made it very easy to see the sights. Grounds were nice and a short walk to the beach made it easy for watching the sunsets. Lava Lava Beach Club which is next door was a great hangout. Will definitely come back our next trip.

Condo was GREAT! Had everything we could need or would want. Lae Nani is in a great location for shopping and beach activities. You can walk to both if you want.
The only have one negative about our stay, The complex next to us on the side of the walkway, they are doing some construction work and during the day it was very loud with hammering, drilling, Trucks coming and going. So, we would leave the area during the day to get away from the noise. There is so much to see and do in Kauai. And the condo gardens are so beautiful very well kept and clean. Even the pool is cleaned every morning.

We stayed for 9 nights in July. The grounds of Lae Nani, the pool, and the beach are second-to-none. We absolutely loved the location and the ability to explore the entire island from it. The condo is much bigger than it appears in the pictures, which was a very welcome surprise. We had a large issue the first night we checked-in, but the hosts were apologetic, had great communication with us, and fixed the problem within half-a-day. Our stay was problem free from then on. We were very sad to leave. We will try to stay here again in the future. Perfect for small families whose kids don't mind sleeping on a sofa sleeper.

Overall stay fantastic everything needed at condo for a lengthy stay. Location great for buying groceries etc. Love the location central to north and south attractions. Unfortunately changed bed mid stay and found mattress pad beneath extremely soiled. Island contact for the condo notified of such. Bedding of all things should almost be sanitized between customers.

We had a wonderful stay at this condo in Wailua. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed being on the ground floor for easy access to the pool and beach. The king sized bed was very comfortable! More comfortable than our bed at home. The AC in the bedroom was an added bonus. The grounds were well maintained and absolutely beautiful. The location is perfect for morning walks and close to shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Love the large lanai. This complex is nicer than many in the area and the pool wins hands down compared to others down the way. Great location. Great communication. An awesome stay! Highly recommend.

Absolutely stunning view from the lanai and the ideal location to stay while exploring the Island of Kauai. A comfortable home base with an excellent swimming beach just steps away, and the heated pool was even closer. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Lovely condo, convenient being very close to the Coconut Market Place. Only issue we had was no towel rack in the master bathroom. It fell off the wall the second day we were there. No repair after several attempts contacting the owner and property manager.

The photos and description of this property were quite accurate, so I won't go in much detail there. We felt this VRBO was a very good value for the location and amenities. Normally I don't comment on this, but the grounds and landscaping were beautiful! We liked the easy access to the beach and pool. The walking access to restaurants and shopping was awesome. I particularly liked the air conditioner in the bedroom -- it made sleeping more comfortable. We would definitely stay here again if we're in Kauai!

Jody’s condo was simply the best. We adored the lanai and being able to just walk barefoot to the pool and the beach. Loved the grounds of this condo community - so beautifully maintained. We were very comfortable with the bed and all of the amenities. It was nice to have a laundry room on-site! Being walking distance to the Coconut Marketplace and many restaurants was great. The beach just simply cannot be beat. We loved our stay here so much!

Love the location right next to Coconut marketplace and shortbdrive to Kapaa. Great local restaurants. Down side is the Kapaa Crawl certain times of day. Make sure you bring a cooler for your frozen groceries.

Location is in close proximity to the airport and several food/shopping options are in walking distance. Parking space is always available and the apt is ample for 2 travelers. We loved the lagoon next to the beach. The only minor complaint is that the bathroom smelled a bit so had to keep door closed when not in use. - this feels common in a lot of vrbo/abnb rentals… Otherwise a great stay and I’d definitely book again if I come back to Kauai with more people.

This property was located in close proximity to the ocean, Lava Lava Beach Club restaurant, and a community pool. We felt very secure, and neighboring vacationers were very courteous and followed property rules. Would of liked access to the laundry area beyond the 8am to 10pm hours maybe keeping it open 24 hrs but I understand that is not under the control of the property owners. Nothing is better than sitting on the patio listening to the ocean waves and relaxing with your loved on. If you prefer to venture out, the condo has everything you need for a beach outing. We even noted tennis balls for tennis play. Great and beautiful location in the complex. Very close to the pool, beach on property, and to everyone’s favorite Lava Lava restaurant. Very comfortable bed and nicely decorated living room and dining area which compliments your paradise location. Kitchen is well equipped with all the essentials for meal preparation. Owners/property manager were responsive and timely. Very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

After a miscommunication upon arrival, all was taken care of. We enjoyed being close to the pool and water as well as shopping center and town. Enjoyed our stay immensely. Property was as pictured with easy access to the pool and the beach. It’s also within walking distance of the Coconut Marketplace which has a small store, some shops and restaurants. The other plus is that it is only nine miles to the airport.
One of the best things about this property are the hosts. Jody was extremely helpful with providing detailed descriptions of places to eat and shop. I had numerous questions for her prior to our visit to Kauai and she was so helpful! She was always quick to respond to any emails and answered all my questions providing useful tips for a great stay.
Should we return to Kauai, we would definitely stay here again.

This is quiet gem is strategically located to access both the North and South Beaches. To our delight, we avoided crowded beaches and were able to enjoy the beach with very limited interactions. The condo was well equipped and very clean. So glad we looked for condo instead of a hotel. The owners were fabulous to work with! We will be back!

We had a wonderful time in Kauai! Jody's place is centrally located which made it easy to drive around town. There's also a plaza next door if you're looking for a quick bite or some shopping. The view from the until is amazing and overlooking the beach. It makes for a nice walk to watch the sunrise.

The pictures of this property did not do it justice. The condo is ocean front, by the pool with only a garden in between. Lovely cove for playing in the waves, easy walk along the water to shopping, groceries, restaurants. Condo was clean and well stocked. We got married in Kauai on this trip and we’re looking for a place we could create memories, this condo was it. The location was perfect. Being so close to the water was perfect. Not really a layout beach, but for waves crashing and beautiful scenery, perfect. Kind of rusty even.
The pool is huge and awesome, it’s open late, 10:00PM that’s good. The whole grounds are immaculate and very well kept. And the unit is literally next door to the Coconut Marketplace. Leave the car in the lot and walk a few steps. Because once you get on the main highway to go there, you’re going to have to wait quite a bit to make a left-hand turn to get back to the condo. You are close to Chicken In A Barrel, Jojo’s Shave Ice, Islands Country Market (which is actually ABC Market, BUT UPSCALE) there deli is great and not expensive. Their coffee bar is awesome. And Bobby V’s has amazing pizza. Ask for the air conditioned room, there may be a wait. The condo is next door to a couple of other hotels that have places to eat at, more great views.
The condo also is best midway point to go to either Princeville up north or Waimea Canyon out west. There is a closet filled with goodies you’ll want when going to explore, little beach chair, cooler, umbrella, etc. It was great to not have to worry about those. small details in the condo are great to like the Sonos audio system, when I turned it on local Hawaiian style type music was playing and it was just right to paint the picture with the beautiful view just outside the patio door.
And you are wise to select this condo over the others because this one has “air conditioning” in the bedroom. Yes that’s not standard with every place, but this one out. Bravo.
And although you have lots of restaurants right next-door at the coconut market place, if you choose to cook while at the condo, they have every tool you will need to make something delicious, including a pineapple core ring so you can cut your own pineapple right there. It’s details like that I appreciate.
Being on the ground unit is great for getting in and out of the place, it’s fantastic for sitting and having breakfast on the lanai and having the birds come up to you to say good morning, the only downside of course is you cannot control the noise from the people above you. And there’s some pretty heavy walkers out there. So just be tolerant of all the footsteps above you.
Can you tell I kind of love this place? LOL. Stay here, you’ll love it too.

The complex is located on a walking path along the shore which made morning and evening strolls enjoyable. Close to shops and eateries. Great location for access to the island sights. The condo had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfy and we were very thankful for the AC unit in the bedroom and all of the fans. We loved the complex and the location was perfect to be able to head out and explore all areas of the island. Walking right out to the pool and to our private beach was the best part! We appreciated having beach towels, a cooler, chairs, and an umbrella to take with us, although the beach chairs could be updated. Thank you for a great stay, Jody and Laurel! We would definitely return.

The condo had all the necessities for a beach vacation, most of all a beautiful beach within walking distance. There’s also a semi-natural pool area at the beach perfect for small kids. The only reasons I didn’t give 5 stars was that the sofa bed would not be comfortable for an adult; it was fine for our toddler. Also the bathroom fans didn’t work well, and the dishwasher didn’t get all the dishes clean. But, it had a well stocked kitchen- they even had sharp knives, which never happens at rentals- all the drinkware you could need and a nice blender for tropical drinks. There was beach gear, good paperbacks to read, large TV and an outdoor table and chaise lounge. The Sonos was nice, but we got booted off several time, not sure why. Highly recommend this place for 1-2 adults and 1-2 small children.
