We are so happy that we stayed at this location. We enjoyed every 9 days of our stay. The condo is beautiful and we enjoyed the property (grass, bbq, pools, putting greens, tennis courts, beach, ......). The location is perfect as well.

Great experience. Clean room. All we needed was provided for such as towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, paper towels, dish liquids, laundry detergent, & softeners basic things to get to started on your trip so you don’t need to buy right away. Love the location close to everything. Would stay here again.

I would highly recommend staying here. Great location . Complex has great pool , hot tub , putting green, tennis courts and more.
Unit is very clean and nice. Very convinient location. Close to parking , BBQ and pool.

We loved our stay at Maui Sunset. The condo was perfect for our family. We have two teenage boys and we were all very comfortable. The condo had everything we needed for our trip. The condo complex was awesome. There was lots to do including the pool, bocci ball, shuffleboard, and the putting green.
The bbqs were right off the lanai which made cooking very convenient.
I'd recommend this condo to anyone. In fact, I already have!

I loved parking in front of the door and having the grills 10 feet from our back lanai. There is a pull down bed so 4 people can sleep there. This condo is well stocked, both with everyday items such as toliet paper, kleenex and trash bags as well as beach items like chairs and umbrellas, snorkel mask and beach towels. This is really a complete condo, we loved it!

Had our family of five (3 kids between 7 and 3) and was enough space for us. Ground level was great for the kids to take advantage of walking out of the room and playing in the green space. Little things like having a blender, magic bullet etc. was great to have for smoothies for the kids. Beach chairs, umbrella and cooler were also wonderful to have. Access to pool, beach, tennis etc was also fantastic. All around a wonderful stay.

Four of my friends and I stayed here for our spring break and had a blast! The property was clean and had full amenities. Having the pool and beach in walking distance made our trip so much fun. We loved staying here, definitely would come back!

There were 5 of us coming from Canada and we were a little worried there might not be enough room for us all, but it worked out great! The sofa bed and Murphy bed were surprisingly comfortable and we had everything we needed! Having a washer and dryer was amazing to wash off all the beach towels everyday. The spot was perfect, 1 minute to the pool and 3 minutes from the beach! We were happily surprised that the place also came with beach chairs, a cooler, and snorkels. The fully stocked kitchen also came in handy because we did a lot of cooking. Staying in Kihei was also wonderful because the town felt more low key than some of the resort areas and there were so many beaches to choose from everyday! Thank you Jackie and Ryan for the wonderful stay.

My family had a great time. The unit is clean and bright. Would’ve given a 5 star but the dishwasher was broken and on the first day there, we had no water for several hours. It wasn’t the end of the world not having a dishwasher, however we could’ve used the time spent washing dishes towards something better. Overall, it was a great stay. Would come back again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was clean and modern, had a well stocked kitchen, had plenty of consumables such as laundry and dish detergent, a closet full of beach equipment and toys, a big TV with a Roku, etc. Communication about how to access the condo was sent a few days before our arrival and we had no problem accessing the unit when we arrived. We would definitely stay here again.

Our condo was very clean and many amenities provided. We were given the wrong access code to start with but that was sorted out with a phone call so all was well. The resort was right next to a park and the beach so the setting was lovely.

Booking was easy and prompt. The room was lovely and very easy to locate and access. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. My kids loved that they were able to have their own beds.
The cons: the Wi-Fi network/instructions we were supplied with did not work. The network was not on the list at all. I sent a text message to the manager but did not get a reply for a couple of hours so I called the alternate number provided, but the staff member was not able to help me. An hour or so later I received a text providing me with a different network and instructions for the Wi-Fi.
A couple of days later I found the TV remote not working and it appeared to need new batteries. Not finding any in the room, I decided to text and ask about replacements but did not get a response. I texted again the next day and finally heard back. They did not have replacements for me but said I could purchase replacements and be reimbursed. A couple of days later I was surprised to find that someone had come into our room when we were out and replaced the batteries. I was not notified that someone would be coming into the Condo while we were out and felt uncomfortable knowing someone was there without my knowledge. Lastly, before you check out, you will be given instructions to do the laundry, take out the trash and wash the dishes even though you are charged a cleaning fee.
I would definitely stay at the Maui Sunset again but was not satisfied with the management.

Nice floor unit. Convenient parking and easy to unload from car. Beautiful view of the water, great for pictures, but can’t really swim as it’s pretty rocky but there are nearby beaches. We were a family of 4 staying in this unit, but traveling with 12 others who also stayed in 3 other units at this location. It was easy to get together on the lawn and have a bbq. Toiletries, beach towels/chair, and some cooking condiments were provided.
Issues encountered: we couldn’t get in after check-in as the code provided didn’t work. It took a little while to get a hold of Jackie and if we didn’t have one of the other units to hang out in, it would have been a nightmare because it was so hot. We eventually had our code reset and was able to get in. It took a while to get the AC working which we needed to wipe down, and the living room ceiling fan did not work (which they left a note about).

Great outside area with a big pool and hot tub. Short walk to the beach.
The kids loved it and so did we.

I love the Kihei area and love that this property is on the beach. Most places require you to walk across Kihei Rd. The A/C worked great for a window unit! Pool was perfect and a short walk. We loved being able to walk 10 steps to our car in the lot- so convenient. The checkin process was easy as you just enter a code that will only work during your stay (it’s secure). We didn’t have to worry about keys. I never needed to contact the owners during our week there. Would recommend and stay again.

This condo was awesome for location and amenities. Because it's on the 1st floor, it makes it easy to BBQ and get to the pool. I liked getting up, making coffee, and walking down to the beach to watch the sunrise. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. We had everything we needed for cooking as well as going to the beach. I would highly recommend to stay here and I would book this one again.

This rental unit was awesome, clean and super close to the beach! For the price you pay you get a washer/dryer, pool with hot tub and a less than 2 minute walk from the beach. It’s such a cute condo and had a bunch of extras that we didn’t even know were included! (Beach chairs, umbrella, extra blankets, etc.) I would absolutely stay here again!

Our one and only issue would be the lack of kitchen ware. Only 4 dinner plates, 2 wine glasses, and very dull knives. For the first 5 weeks of our stay only my wife and I were in the condo, but the last week we were joined by my daughter and her husband so dishes became an issue.

Gorgeous condo! Had all the amenities you could ever need (kitchen supplies, electronics, bathroom supplies, linens etc) plus in the complex itself you have access to BBQs and the gym. The unit we stayed in was particularly nice because it was on the ground floor, so it was nice to walk out on the green grounds, and you can literally walk right out to the beach every night to watch the sunset!

This condo is perfectly located on the property. You cannot see the beach from the room but don't worry, walk out to the maliciously maintained grills, putting green, shuffle board, pool and beach. It's all right there. The condo is a tad dated, but who goes to HI just to sit inside?

Pool and beach were on property which made it super convenient and easy to get to both whenever we wanted to. Grocery store was also nearby. The condo was stocked with most of the necessities. My only wish is that the bedroom bed was a little bigger.

The upkeep on the grounds is wonderful! Security guards were great. More pillows would be a plus. We needed about 2 more pillows for the fold out couch. Loved that the basics were supplied such as dishwasher and laundry pods, Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Unit was very clean!

The apartment was nicely renovated and very comfortable. It was in the first floor with an easy access to the beach. The common area was in outstanding conditions.

This place worked out perfectly for us, a family with two young kids. The location is very convenient - right next to the ocean, 30s walk to the swimming pool, 5 minute drive to major supermarkets and shopping plazas. The condo has a well-equipped kitchen with everything we needed to cook breakfast and other meals. Having a grill right outside is also very convenient. There was plenty of sleeping space for everyone. There were a good number of beach towels, and we could always use the washing machine in the unit if we need it to wash or dry them. Beach chairs, toys and boogie boards are all a nice bonus that made the stay extra convenient. There’s plenty of parking in this condo complex.
Overall this was a fantastic vacation made possible by this host.

This is a great place for a small family of 4-5. We loved that it was on the first floor so, it was accessible to the parking lot, pool, courtyard, etc. Residents are friendly and helpful if looking for things to do in Maui. It is about 20-30 mins from Lahiana and Kanapali so, keep in mind when booking. Overall, it's a great place to stay.

We loved staying at this condo at the Maui Sunset. The unit is updated with a well stocked, functional kitchen. The ground floor location is perfect for easy entry and exit to the pool and parking lot. I was worried about noise and privacy being on the ground floor, but found it We had 3 other units rented from this property for our family reunion--ours was by far the nicest and most easily accesible. Beds were comfortable, plenty of sheets and blankes. Having beach towels, chairs, toys, and boogie boards provided was a nice perk. Would definitely stay here again!

This small condo was a piece of heaven for myself and my family of 5! I didn’t have to buy a single thing as far as laundry soap, trash bags, toilet paper, dish washing liquid, and it was even equipped with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. It had all the essentials needed for cooking and grilling outside. The location was so beautiful and right off the beach. It was never too crowded in the complex and it was just beautiful inside and out. I walked in and the only thing I could say is WOW. We hit the jackpot with this place. Kihei was a beautiful little quiet town which is what we wanted. If you’re looking for that in Maui, definitely stay in this town and book this condo!! You 100% will not regret it.

Beautiful grounds and sunset view with 1st floor access off patio made for fabulous and relaxing experience as well as unique opportunity to play shuffleboard, bocce ball, and short chip golf. While the unit was small it had a practical and efficient layout so no need for wasted space on additional bedrooms when you don’t spend much time there when on vacation anyway. Only minor hiccup was cleaning personnel was still there working when we arrived at 5:45 pm… long after our approved check-in so not sure she got to quite finish.
