We really enjoyed our stay here. The condo itself was very nice, and, as many have mentioned previously, the gracious and welcoming hospitality of Kevin contributed greatly to our enjoyable stay. The reservation process was easy, and information and instructions were excellent.
The condo is extremely well-located. We could walk out the building door to the beach a few steps away, or, in the other direction, along a walking path that stretched all the way to Wailea. It has been updated, yesterday from all appearances, as everything appeared fresh and new. The kitchen was VERY well furnished, and we greatly appreciated the olive and other cooking oils, herbs and spices, and salad dressings and condiments. Very much appreciated, too, were the grocery shopping bags. Make sure you look in all the cabinets--we found some bags immediately, but on the last day we opened a cabinet we had not looked in and we found more. Honestly, there was nothing we needed that was not there, including that the host supplies a beach umbrella, 2 boogie boards, 2 nice lawn chairs, 2 noodles, and a lovely lanai for sunsets.
Cleanliness and comfort were excellent. Because of the way the building is shaped we did hear a little street noise from the bedroom and we could hear people walking by, but overall noise was not a problem.
In sum, this was really a great place to stay and we enjoyed our time there very much.

This place will not disappoint! It really felt like a home away from home and Kevin really is a superhost. Kevin was incredibly kind , welcoming and responsive throughout our entire stay for anything we needed or questions we had. We watched the turtles and listened to the ocean every morning while we drank our coffee - what a treat! Beautiful sunsets from the lanai as well! The lawn and beach around would fill with people but we could just grab a mimosa and watch right from our own spot.
The location was also fantastic as you can walk across the street for almost anything you might need (restaurants, grocery store, alcoholic beverages, clothes and souvenirs, bakery, etc). But if you’re up for exploring further it’s very central to almost anything.
While it’s fun to explore other beaches, the beaches on either side of the property were great and we typically just took our towels, sunscreen and some beverages to Kamaole 2 and had a wonderful time.
Would definitely come back, and may even do so next year!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was absolutely incredible! The condo itself was so clean and perfectly located. It was even better than the photos! Kevin was so kind and checked in on us and was super easy to work with. We loved our time here and can’t wait to come back. We can’t say enough about this place!

My husband and I have stayed at many condos in Maui and this unit was one of the cleanest, most well stocked unit we have stayed in in regards to the kitchen, bath, bedroom, and beach chairs/umbrella/toys. Definitely the best view in Kihei on the water. Perfect location walking distance to beaches, restaurants, shave ice, and shops. Short drive to the Kihei Food Oasis at the south Maui gardens which we went to almost every day. Our umbrella snapped and the property manager had a new one for us the next day. One minor complaint is that I wish there was a full length mirror somewhere. The only mirror inside is the bathroom mirror and then there is one on the balcony. We got dressed for a nice dinner and I wished I could see my full outfit! This is a more personal preference but I would recommend getting a foam pad for the mattress as it was the hardest mattress I’ve ever laid on, to the point we didn’t sleep well and were very sore in the morning.

This place is outstanding and the property is managed to perfection. Kevin has every detail thought out, everything is up to date, and he's very easy to communicate with.
A perfect place for two, to either relax at the property or explore the island. Bed is super comfy, the condo is quiet, parking is easy, and the view is spectacular. Unless you want a resort experience or want to stay on another part of the island, this is a perfect option.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was so nice. They have everything you need. The location is excellent, the views are breathtaking. They have beach chairs snd boogie boards. The kitchen is awesome. There is nothing missing. We just loved it. I would highly recommend this condo. You certainly will not be disappointed. Kevin is so easy to communicate with. The roof top too is awesome. They have grills, tables and even a kitchen. I give this a10+++

We have visited Maui often, to see our daughter who lives there, and stayed in many vacation rentals. This is our new favorite and will be our first choice in future trips. The owners (Kevin in particular) were thorough in communications and made the booking, check-in and the whole experience easy. The condo was just as pictures show, perfectly appointed with anything you would need during your visit (shampoo/conditioner, full kitchen, beach towels, chairs, etc.) - you only need to bring yourself and clothes. The location of the condo is also ideal with perfect view of sunsets from the lanai or the incredible rooftop terrace. Grocery and other shops and restaurants are literally across the street. I cannot recommend this condo enough and am so grateful to Kevin and his family for offering this lovely home-away-from-home and their warm aloha spirit.

My husband and I loved our stay at Kevin's place. Everything was as noted. The view is amazing! You can't get better views of the ocean than the view from this condo! The kitchen had all the upgrades and amenities that you would need if you wanted to make all your meals to eat at the condo / beach.
The whole condo felt comfortable and stylish.
We would not hesitate to stay again!

We couldn’t have been more happy with this wonderful condo. The views of the ocean and the beaches from the lanai are more than we had hoped for and to go to sleep and wake up to the sound of surf was heaven.
Kevin’s condo can’t be beat. Immaculate and so nicely furnished. The kitchen is very well equipped and organized. The owner thought of everything. Loved having beach chairs and umbrella to use and very convenient to have Snorkel Bob’s across the street to rent snorkel gear.
We didn’t rent a car since we came Maui just to relax and enjoy the ocean so having restaurants and shopping so close was perfect for us. This is our third trip to Maui and first time staying in Kihei. Loved it!!

From the booking throughout the trip our host Kevin made sure we were taken care of. The unit was updated and had anything you would need from kitchen items to shampoo, conditioner & body wash in the bathroom. The mattress was so comfortable. We left the patio door open whenever we were in the Condo. The view is ever changing. We hope to return and would rent Unit 308 again.

This condo offers a full oceanfront view of Kamaole Beach Park I as well as amazing sunsets from the Lanai. Views from the rooftop patio of Haleakala on one side and the sweeping ocean view on the other are stunning.
The condo is exactly as advertised, comfortable and very well equipped.
We have already booked our stay for next year!

We had a wonderful two week stay at the Royal Mauian. You can't beat the location with ocean and beach views and many shopping and food options within easy walking distance. The property was clean and updated and came stocked with everything we needed including beach chairs, boogie boards and an umbrella. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The owner Kevin was easy to deal with and he gave us a lot of great ideas for activities around the island. We will definitely consider booking it again for our next visit to Maui.

This oceanfront stunner is so well-appointed and lovely. My husband and I have stayed in other wonderful condos in this building, but this one exceeded our expectations. Kevin was a terrific communicator and made checking in and out a breeze.

Fabulous condo on the beach with front row turtle watching every morning. Everything in the condo was exactly as presented and it had everything we needed. The convenience of a few shops and restaurants across the street was great. Beaches are wonderful and just a few steps away. Will definitely be back.

Found on VRBO. Wanted to try staying in a different area of Maui instead of Lahaina/Kaanapalli area. Good decision! This condo is clean has A/C quiet even though steet is not far away. Short walk to 2 beaches. The parking is good. The sunset view is the bomb! Pool is nice and well kept. Good eating within walking distance. The balcony has great views. Final though, the place is as advertised if not better. Not all places are.

Prompt responses. I’ve rented from rental companies in the past where I was locked out and no one responded for hours and I was just one of 100s of messages in someone’s queue.
This placed checked all the criteria and did not disappoint. Bonus that Kevin gave us personalized attention and also early check in/late check out. Another bonus- beach chairs/Umbrella,cooler, plastic containers for picnic lunches, binoculars, emphasis on being mindful of drought in Maui/being mindful of non-recyclable waste, etc. I’d recommend this condo and stay here again.

We had a beautiful, relaxing stay. Our host, Kevin, went above and beyond. The condo was smaller than some we’ve stayed but that didn’t matter, because everything you could possibly need was here to enjoy. The kitchen was stocked and all the extras made our vacation pleasurable and easy. Lots of walkable places and beaches. Even saw a turtle snorkeling just off the beach here.

I have stayed at several VRBO properties over the years and this was by far one of the best experiences we have had. The property location is absolutely perfect. The condo is beautifully appointed with lots of details and extras that make staying away from home easy. VERY clean. The communication with the property owner was excellent both before our stay and during our stay. I can't say enough great things about our experience staying here.

This condo was perfection. Beautifully renovated and stocked with everything you could conceive of (need scissors to cut off a tag? Great binoculars to check out the elephant seal on the beach? Got it!). The location is wonderful, the views amazing, and don’t skip the newly renovated rooftop deck for sundown and interesting company. Literally 30 steps from two gorgeous beaches…we never even used our nice chairs and umbrella but just sunned on the lawn and strolled over to swim. Speaking of which the pool was surprisingly deep and pleasant. The overall property is immaculate and the night frogs in the koi pond were a trip! As you can probably tell we were happy as clams :) I highly recommend this property for couples and commend Kevin and crew for their attention to detail and kind hospitality!

My husband and I had an excellent two-week vacation in Maui, thanks in large part to the superb accommodations we had at the Royal Mauian. The condo’s water’s edge location, with its panoramic views and ocean breezes, is priceless. Watching stunning sunsets across the water from the lanai was a nightly event. The unit has a fantastic, spacious kitchen—equipped with everything we needed to cook our meals. We appreciated being able to walk across the street for groceries at a well-stocked natural foods market and for fresh-baked bread at a very nice little bakery. There are also numerous cafés and restaurants across the street with many options for eat-in or take-out meals and snacks. (Many other options for groceries, meals, and miscellaneous shopping are only a short drive away.) The condo is spotlessly clean and all of the furnishings, bedding, etc. were as good as new—if not actually new. It is amply evident that the host, Kevin Faris, cares about what guests need and want. For example, there is a nice pair of binoculars which we used for closer views of the beautiful scenery. There are also chairs, an umbrella, and boogie boards for use at the adjacent beaches (one to the right and the other to the left of the Royal Mauian resort property). On a practical note, we found full bags of laundry and dishwasher detergent pods ready for our use—along with paper towels and all of the other consumables typically found at home. In short, the condo was a most comfortable and convenient place to call home during our trip to Maui. Above all, communicating by email with host Kevin Faris was a pleasure. He provides detailed information and is unfailingly responsive. We look forward to a return trip.

Great condo with everything you need for your stay. I never turned on the A C. I enjoyed having the breezes and sounds from the ocean. I also streamed my Amazon Music through the TV and the sound was a wonderful addition to my vacation, Definitely a 5 🤩 property!

We had a great experience staying here. The location, views, and accommodations were all great. We have stayed in other units in this building as well as traveling with other people who have also stayed here and this is the best unit that I have seen. The owner was extremely helpful and easy to get in contact with when we needed to. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone. We can't wait until our next trip to Maui so that we can stay again!

We have been traveling to Hawaii for 30 years.. we decided to stay in Kihei this time, we’re we stayed for our anniversary 34 years ago. This stay was for #37 and Thanksgiving and much needed vacation.
We couldn’t have selected a better condo and owner to rent from. Kevin is a joy to work with, attentive, quick to respond and just an all around nice guy! You will not be disappointed.

We loved our stay at the Royal Mauiian. The one bedroom is unfortunately at the back of the building and a bit noisy in the morning however for the price we didn’t mind . The unit was over all very nice and updated. Beautiful kitchen with everything we could think of. Comfortable living room and very pretty. The Georgeous views from the lanais is amazing and there was nice outside furniture as well. . What we like best is the access to the beach or to the grass in front. There is nothing like beachfront and this is it. Also having the stores across the street was really handy. Kevin was very helpful whenever we had a question and seemed genuinely cheerful and kind. There were good beach chairs to use and other beach accessories which were nice to have instead of running out to buy them. The beach towels were a little on the small side but worked. Overall the unit was lovely and well cared for and we really enjoyed our stay. We hope to get back again some day soon.

Can’t say enough about this condo. Location and view were absolutely perfect. Right across the street from stores and restaurants but tucked far enough back to get some peace and quiet. The condo had everything we needed and an easy walk to the beach. Kevin was very easy to communicate with and very responsive. The views of Kamaole beach and sounds
of the wave splashing on the rocks made the balcony the focal point of our visit. Google shows the Royal Mauian as a 2 star hotel. It's not a hotel and it is a 3-4 star building . The landscaping, parking area and the lobby are all well maintained and attractive. I'm glad we overlooked Google and took a chance on this property. Inside is equally well maintained. Upscale appliances compliment the fully equipped kitchen. Every dish, pot or pan you might need to prepare a meal is ready and waiting. Grilled cheese is the most complex meal I prepare while on vacation but it's sure nice to have the the option available. It was really nice to have beach chairs, snorkel gear and beach towels for our use. The beach starts at the edge of the property line and was graded by us as the best overall beach vs Riviera Maya/Caribbean beaches/other Hawaii beaches due to soft smooth sand, gentle waves and crystal clear warm water.
Inside 308 is modern, clean and comfortable. Laundry is in unit. Bed and lounge furniture are comfortable and attractive. Nice rainfall shower. A/C is quiet and quickly cooled the rooms but hardly necessary when there is a breeze or the tradewinds are blowing. The Owner was great to work with . Easy to reach and quick to respond to any concerns.
We would strongly recommend this property and can't wait to return.

What a memorable experience staying at this property. From the amazing location to the unique touches in the property, the top notch quality furniture and kitchen appliances as well as the professional and attentive communication with the host, by staying at this location you are sure to have a wonderful experience. The host's dining and other suggestion to enjoy our stay were amazing; the neighbors and the location of the building on the beach and across many convenient stores, bars and restaurants makes this an ideal setting. Kihei is a great central base to explore all of Maui. We will come back as soon as possible!

This place was so amazing waking up to the view everyday was so great! It was extremely comfortable and convenient. The aC was helpful to stay relaxed and when not in use the trade winds were so refreshing ! There were turtles everywhere and the beaches and pool were perfectly located oh ... and the stores nearby were so close and convenient ! The roof top bbq and tables made a great sunset dinner as well as the balcony! I have no complaints!!

I've stayed at many Royal Mauian condos and I'd have to say that I would definitely look for this one again in the future. Exceptionally clean, nice quality finishes, touches and amenities. The remodeled louvered windows facing the street/parking lot sealed tightly which meant the bedroom was super quiet. With the fans, I rarely needed to turn on the A/C but it was wonderful to have that option. It was perfect to just open the sliders and screens wide all day and let the breeze and sounds of the ocean envelope me. Add some light Hawaiian music using the smart tv and sound bar and it was perfect. The condo owner was responsive, helpful and everything they needed to be. I love the Royal Mauian because of its walkability (great natural food store across the street - takes 5 mins to get groceries and come back, shave ice, the best cinnamon rolls anywhere). There is absolutely nothing to complain about, and everything to love. The only unfortunate thing might be size for some as I think it only accomodates 2 people, but perfect for a single retreat or couples!

Loved the view-beach, bay, turtles, sunsets. The kitchen had everything should you want to cook. Everything was new and nice! We were able to walk to a different restaurant every night. A perfect place for the Kihei experience.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and loved it! It’s hard to find many condos with all of the updates and decorations like this one! The condo was very clean, and fully stocked. There were even beach chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards. We enjoyed using the lanai and listening to the ocean. We also grilled and enjoyed the views on the roof.
The condo is located just a few steps from two great beaches. We enjoyed snorkeling at them and even saw a few sea turtles swim by. You can also walk right across the street to restaraunts, stores, and bars. Beach Street Maui Shave Ice right across the street has lots of coffee and food options!
Kevin was a super friendly host! He checked in to make sure everything was going well and made sure we were taken care of! Thank you!!

Second time at Royal Mauian, which in my opinion is the best place to stay on Maui hands down. Kevin is great at communicating pre, during and post trip! He even gave me a call the second day just to make sure everything was going well! We were greeted with a nice bottle of wine, chocolates & kona coffee upon arrival (nice little touch). The unit itself is incredible, everything is brand new, the kitchen, bathroom, living area, etc. The views are fantastic from your private Lanai, perfect location for sunsets! Bed was great nice storage under the bed and in the closets. Kevin has a huge flat screen that rotates so you can actually watch TV from the kitchen, living room or Lanai. That was huge bonus points for me because the NFL playoffs were on! I could go on and on about the unit, there isn't one thing I would change about it. The property is just as great, oceanfront pool, rooftop grille, very friendly owners & guests. This is my second time there and already feel welcomed by the Royal Mauian community as a return guest. You can tell they run a tight but friendly ship when it comes to owners and guests, which I can appreciate. Kevin has boogie boards, beach chairs, towels, etc. so don't worry about any of those things, I left some snorkel gear so feel free to enjoy that! Great snorkeling right outside the place go left or right and you will enjoy sea turtles and other great fish. Whales were jumping right outside which we were able to enjoy as well! Kevin has two pairs of binoculars! I would say this, if you are a couple looking to really enjoy Maui just go and stay here and read Kevin's guide and you will have a wonderful vacation! Kevin also gave us early check-in and a late check-out so he is more than accommodating with those requests. We will be back next year and for years to come! Mahalo Kevin!!!
