Condo is exactly as pictured - very nice, clean, well-equipped and with a gorgeous view (especially at sunset!). Owners were very responsive; for example there was no kettle in the apt. and they delivered a brand new one within a couple of hours of our asking. While no direct access to ocean, the “beach” seating area was lovely. Area where the complex is located is ok - but be prepared to drive everywhere.

Nice, quiet condo located directly on the beach. Listing is accurate to what you arrive to. Condo is stocked with everything you will need to make meals, wash clothes, etc. Quiet property, close to restaurants shopping. AC works great. Would stay again

We have been to the Hawaiian Islands 10 times. Twice to the Big Island. This is the best place we have ever rented. We picked it due to the high rating, and it was accurate. We were there over the 4th of July. It was clean, comfortable, and quite. Even on the 4th. Perfect location, perfect view, perfect condo. Wish I owned it!

The place was nice. We found the beach chairs, towels, and snorkel equipment helpful so we did not have to rent them. The place is a short drive to the beaches and downtown Kona. The air conditioning came in handy since some days it was 89 and no breeze at night. There is a convenience store next door which is helpful for food when we did not feel like driving to the grocery store.

Beautiful view of the ocean with gorgeous sunsets. The condo itself was absolutely perfect! Very up-to-date with everything you need. They had boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach chairs and a cooler for us to use. We’d definitely stay there again.

Location was perfect. Literally on the ocean. 3rd floor balcony. Beautiful sunsets. Extremely clean. Nice washer and dryer. We really appreciated the foil, plastic wrap, spices, little coffee & coffee filters & closthes detergent pods to get us started for our week. There was ice maker in freezer. The pool was nice and the little sandy area just before the rocks to the ocean were great too. We can't wait to visit again.

Great Condo with a terrific ocean view. Spent every morning on the lanai drinking coffee and watching the ocean and sunrise and every afternoon on the lanai drinking an adult beverage and watching the sunset.

This rental was exactly as pictured. It was very very clean. There was not a speck of dust anywhere and yes, I checked. Everything was fully stocked with anything that you needed to make a meal or make yourself comfortable, there was plenty of blankets and pillows, thick and quality made, beach towels, pool, equipment, beach, chairs, you name it and it was there and it’s all quality. We spent every morning on the balcony, drinking coffee and feeding these two cute little yellow birds that would land on our hands and eat from our hands. The unit is in the very front and has amazing views and it’s also very very quiet. We were able to sleep in till almost noon to days of our trip, which literally never happens to us because we are very light sleepers. The parking and access is very easy and the property managers were great, very accommodating, and we had a chance to chat with them in the pool for a little bit on our last evening. Both very cool people. this is a great location where you could easily walk to town but we were a little spoiled and drove ourselves in. Also, I really liked the fact that there was hypoallergenic laundry soap because normally when we get to a rental, I have to immediately wash all towels and bedding as my husband is very sensitive, so I really appreciate it not having to do that here. everything was clean and fresh and smelled wonderful. The pool is heated and this was again one of the first times we were able to get directly into the pool on a rental because most places do not eat their pool and evening warm locations it can be cold. We spent a lot of time in the pool up until evening hours and it was amazing. Also very clean and we saw the property manager cleaning the grounds multiple times a day and the pool. Overall, this is a great spot and we would definitely come back. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!!

We loved our time at Kona Isle. The ocean views alone are spectacular! The unit is exactly as pictured/described, but better: quiet, welcoming, well-stocked, and the perfect size for two adults. Location is excellent, close enough to "downtown" if you want to spend time there, or easy access to the main roads that lead elsewhere. We spent our days on the road, and so coming back to this unit for sunsets every evening was a joy. Communication with Christine was easy and clear throughout; we also appreciated her checking in on us when the waves were battering Hawaii one day. We would (and will) stay here again in a heartbeat. P.s. When the waves ARE big, the public saltwater pool immediately next door is a total BLAST -- highly recommend.

Stunning oceanfront condo for the two of us. Nicely updated and comfy. Had everything we needed from all the beach things, to card games, books, and a well stocked kitchen. Contacted manager about a broken beach chair and had a replacement the next day! Super and quick communication! Best thing was the breathtaking view of the ocean, watching the sunset from the balcony, and listening to the waves crash. Only slight negative, and it’s slight, is the very tiny parking spot but we made it work. I would stay here again without hesitation.

It's all about the view....the pictures of the condo are accurate; however, they really don't do the view justice. There was always space to lounge by the pool or beside the crashing surf and we never had to wait for a grill.
The only quibble I have is that the upholstery on the sofa and ottoman is looking tired, faded and ripped and snagged in places. A throw had been artfully placed to hide the wear on the sofa, but it needs to be replaced soon, nonetheless. Christine did send a message after we checked in indicating a new sofa cover had been ordered but would not arrive before we left.
I would definitely stay here again if this unit were available.

Clean and beautifully maintained and stocked retreat perfect for two. Right on the beach in the Kona area close to farmer’s markets and restaurants. Watch spinner dolphins and wildlife and listen to songbirds as you watch the sunrise/sunset from the balcony. We’ll be back!

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was just as described! The location couldn’t have been better and having the waves crashing right below a real bonus. The unit was decorated very well—loved all the accessories. Lots of cooking utensils, etc. for meals. We felt so at home here that we only ate dinner out twice in 10 days. Having the grills on the grounds made it so easy.

Loved our stay! The condo was very cute and very well equipped. All the little extras, fresh flowers, hand sanitizer, etc were great. The view is beautiful and the complex is very quiet and well maintained. The location was perfect for quick access to restaurants and great little beaches. Snorkeling at Magic Sands beach was great if you swim well enough to get past the huge waves! Kahalu’u Beach Park was awesome for snorkeling as well and easy to navigate for beginners. Prettiest beach goes to Kua Bay! Snorkeling with the Manta Rays is also a must do bucket list item, and of course Volcano National Park, I saw REAL lava!! :) Mahalo, Christine for answering all my questions, communication was great.

We very much enjoyed our stay . The view is unbeatable , and the crashing ocean waves were magnificent. The photos of the home are representative of the accommodations. (Such nice touches by the owner of extra sundries, pool/beach equipment etc.). The atmosphere of the property was very welcoming & we loved the little library too.

We really enjoyed out stay. The unit is clean and very well equipped with any supplies we needed. Sunsets from the deck were amazing. Location was great. Owner communication was great and accommodating. No ocean swimming from site was known in advance. Check out the useful books in the draw under the TV.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay, particularly with the amenities provided (e.g. washing machine, kitchen, coffee maker, snorkeling gear), the spacious living room, and the spectacular sunset. We even had our meals on the balcony, which allowed us to soak up the atmosphere. The location was also a convenient short drive away from the main town of Kailua-Kona. There was also a small grocer next door, in case we needed last minute supplies.
Christine's instructions were also generally clear, in terms of how to access the keys as well as what to do before check-out.
The main issues we faced were with locating the unit, as the instructions did not mention the specific unit number, and we spent 20 minutes trying to find the right one. Also, try not to bring too much luggage as you will need to carry them up to the third level.

We chose this property for the oceanfront view, proximity to Kona town and the comfortable home furnishings & amenities. Every sunset was magical and happens right in front of your balcony shining through the palms. The sunrise in the mornings viewed from the salt water pool are also breathtaking. As the waves crash upon the pool walls fresh ocean water cleans out the pool making this the best time for a swim. Our first full day on the island we went to Green Sand Beach and barely made it home by sunset so dinner at nearby Jackie Reys was convenient and the best meal I had on the island. The next day we went on the Body Glove 4 hour snorkel tour and then to Kona Brewing Company. That night we decided to make dinner at home making use of the oceanfront BBQ area to grill a nice ribeye. Next day was beach day as we went to Hapuna beach where the body boards provided in the unit came in handy. The next beach we went to was Kua Bay (my favorite) but the waves are big and break dangerously close to shore so be careful. Then we went to beach before Makalawena (which we visited later but were not prepared for the lava field walk; wear shoes). Now Wednesday and so far after two and a half days on the island the best attraction people mention is the night dive and boy are they right on point. This is one the most amazing things you will ever do in your life. Thursday travels to Waikoloa Village, Akaka Falls & Hilo then back to Kona through Saddle Road and heavy rains. Friday we make our way to the Sacred Place, Honaunau then to Makalawena (my now Fiance's favorite beach) and back to Body Glove for the booze cruise party boat. Saturday we sadly said goodbye to Kona town, the Big Island and our lovely beach home that we just adored. Then it was on to Oahu to visit friends and propose to Julie, my now, lovely fiance'. Many thanks to our wonderful hosts, we enjoyed every minute of our stay.

We would definitely come back and stay at this lovely property. When we arrived in Hawaii, after check in time, our vrbo was still not showing our code for check in, however the owner got us the information quickly. Condo had everything we needed: beach chairs, towels, washer/dryer, coffee maker and AC. The view from our balcony was beautiful and allowed us to see whales and dolphins every day! The kitchen was conducive to cooking meals for the two of us. Thanks again !

This beautiful and updated condo is on the third floor with an ocean front view. Very nice furnishings, a well equipped kitchen and an incredibly comfortable bed.
Loved loved loved sitting on the lanai watching the surf pound on the rocks below. Fabulous ocean breeze meant we did not have to live with air conditioning, which is available. Would go there again in a heartbeat.

I enjoyed a 9 day stay here, and loved every minute. The condo was perfect, with all amenities, and was sparkling clean. I had some travel issues, and Christine was incredibly flexible and worked with me on my stay timing until I was able to resolve them.
Every morning I would sit on the balcony and watch the sunrise, and every evening I would rush home to watch the sunset.
The kitchen is well-stocked, and the unit is very quiet. The bed was very comfortable, and it was wonderful to sleep with the sound of the ocean waves.
