We had a great time at Napili Shores. I have stayed in these condos a number of times, but this unit has the best location. We loved sitting on the lanai watching the ocean. Loved stepping out into the garden setting and wandering up to the pool or to the beach. Everything is close at hand.
The condo was clean and the owners responsive. Lovely breeze that flows through the unit, but there is AC if too hot. We only used it on low at night.
A couple of things to be aware of:
- No oven, but microwave/convection cooking in unit and BBQ pit very close by
- The bedroom king sized bed is firm and comfortable
- The two pull-out beds (one single and one double) need to have new mattresses as they are thin, misshapen and not comfortable
- There are no cards or games, so bring your own

This review is a little different then the norm, Our family of four (12 & 13 yr old daughters) arrived the day before the devastating Maui Wildfires in August 2023, we lost power and all communication for four days. Christine (Host) was amazing and was in constant contact to make sure we were safe and tried to help with an evacuation plan. She went above and beyond, we are so thankful for her help. Regardless of the circumstances we had a memorable stay at this beautiful ,clean, well-appointed condo. The condo is fully stocked with everything you would need. Comfortable beach chairs(4), umbrella, boogie boards(2), beach towels(4) and sand toys. Our favorite beach is just steps away and the location can't be anymore more convenient. Please don't hesitate to book this gem. We look forward to visiting and staying in Christine's slice of paradise again soon. Aloha!

This is a beautiful place to stay! We returned to the same condo since it was so beautiful the 1st time! The owner was wonderful and friendly and wanted to make sure we had an amazing time. She even contacted us to see if we needed anything and called after our stay to see how it was. We will continue to stay in the same condo, as well as continuing to recommend it to our friends!

This is a nicely renovated and maintained condo in a classic older complex. It has a great ocean view and one of Maui’s best beaches is only out the gate and down the stairs. Plus you can monitor the line at the wildly popular Gazebo restaurant from the lanai. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone that wants a cozy, classic Maui experience.

My daughter and I spent a week here and couldn’t have been happier. The condo is pristine with high end furnishings and a beautiful kitchen. The view from inside the unit is wonderful with a vista that extends across the ocean to the shores of Molokai.
As beach-lovers, we were blown away by the location. The condo is situated on the nicest stretch of coast, steps from Napili Bay and a stunning coastal trail.
Napili Shores (the resort) is a forgotten gem that’s well maintained and quite beautiful without being luxurious. We loved the friendly, low-key atmosphere, the open and spacious grounds and the larger than typical pools on the property.

The property was perfect for our stay. My wife and I wanted to be near Kapalua for a golf trip, but also close enough to walk to a nice beach. Napili Bay is a beautiful beach with a lot of turtles and whales within view. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We have 3 young children and this place was perfect for them. They were able to run on the beautiful grass and it was a close walk to the pools and ocean without being too close that I was worried they would try to go swimming alone. It slept the 5 of us comfortably and had everything we needed. We would absolutely return!

We have been to Maui and stayed in the Napili area many times. This is the first time that we stayed in this property. We really enjoyed it! The location is ideal - ocean view from the patio, near the beach, near the Gazebo. The space was well-done and attractive. The kitchen was very well stocked with plates, pots/pans, silverware, cups, and even some spices, etc. We brought a cooler so liked that there was an ice-maker too! We would definitely stay there again. Thanks!

This ground floor condo is "amazing in every way"! Whale watch from the lanai, and a few short steps to the pool and grilling area! Immaculate condition with upgraded kitchen and bath! Large breakfast bar, convection microwave, fully stocked kitchen. I love this condo. This was our second time staying here.
Love the view, the gardens and there is a second pool/hot tub to enjoy as well! In addition, The Gazebo Restaurant is next to lower pool. Serves the best food from 7:30 to 2 pm. Island renound! I highly recommend Napili Shores B112! Aloha!

Napili Beach was perfect for swimming, walking, and just enjoying the scenery. The patio had a partial ocean view and we saw whales one morning! The condo was clean and well-maintained, had everything we needed, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Nice to have a couple of restaurants within walking distance.

The condo is in a great location on the property, close to everything and yet you can see the ocean. Condo has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The view is spectacular and we could see whales while we drank our morning coffee by the pool. The Gazebo restaurant is insanely popular with long lines, but the takeout is easy and makes it doable. Tide pools just below are great for kids, and the beach next-door is beautiful. We preferred snorkeling at the beach just north of us, Kapula Beach. The hot tub came in handy after long hikes on the Pacific coast trail.

This place is really great. I loved it very much except the air conditioning and sleeping situation. They set the a/c to 70 to 72 degrees and the unit in the bedroom does not work very well. There is NO WAY to get the room cooler. There is a lock on the AC! I am a menopausal woman and I need cold air at night to sleep. During the day, the unit is fine, but at night it is impossible to get any rest. I sweated all night. There is also an outside light that shines into the bedroom and it is very bright even with the blinds drawn at night. Like I said, this is a perfect unit. It is in a great location, beautiful inside and wonderfully equipped.

Perfect location away from the mainstream experience of Maui. Located on the shore line where the sunsets are breathtaking, the snorkeling is beyond amazing, the beach is beautiful, 3 restaurants within walking distance serve delicious food, and rentals are available for all the beach and water needs. The grounds are beautiful as well. Perfect location.

Did a full week and glad we did, the bay was just a quick walk away. We used the BBQs by the pools almost every night for dinner, the grounds are well kept, the condo was just as pictured, we were glad we went with a 1 bedroom vs a studio option.

We had such a great stay in this very clean and organized room. The kitchen had everything we needed including the little extras so we didn't need to buy a lot of stuff at the store(spices, coffee etc). All the beach necessities were provided and the beach was such beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the fan kept us nice an cool. Thanks Christine and Byron for providing such a nice home away from home!

This was our first time staying in a condo in Maui and we really enjoyed it. The location of Napili Shores is excellent - a 2 minute walk to a great beach and easy access to all of west Maui. Also a bit cooler and breezier than Kaanapali. The property is well maintained and it was super convenient to have the Gazebo and Kitchen 5315 on the property. We had takeout from the gazebo on three mornings and ate on the front porch. Also used the grills one night for dinner which was nice. Two pools were great for our kids and almost always empty. The downsides of the property - the hot tub was broken for the duration of our stay and they also had all of the water shut off one evening and into the next morning. It was supposed to come back on by 6 am or so but did not, so restaurants were shut down for the day. They did get it back on around 8 am, but it was still a bit of an inconvenience. The unit is lovely - from what I could tell it appeared to be nicer than many other units on the property and well equipped with everything we needed. One simple improvement would be an extra set of bath towels. 4 bath towels for 4 people when you are constantly getting wet and humidity is very high is a challenge! We had one issue with the shower not draining, which was fixed the next day after contacting the property owners. The only other thing I mention for awareness is that there is an additional $75 fee owed at check in. Maybe I missed this during the booking process but would just recommend making this more clear - not a big deal but just a bit of a surprise. Thanks for the great stay - we definitely recommend this condo/property and would return in the future.

My husband and I and our two young kids loved our stay here. It was perfect to be on the ground floor and have the grassy area out front to play in. We enjoyed all meals on the patio looking at the ocean, and loved frequenting both pools! The beach is just a short walk away and is one of Maui's prettiest beaches in our opinion. The waves were a bit unseasonably rough some days, but we enjoyed the calm days. The kitchen was perfect and well equipped for all the meals we cooked in. Also key to have on-site laundry - had to take advantage of that a few times. Had a plugged shower drain when we arrived and the owners called maintenance for us and got it fixed ASAP. Thank you for letting us enjoy your condo, we'll be back someday hopefully!!

We can't wait to return to this property. Thank you to the owner of the condo for ensuring such a beautiful and well-equipped place to stay at lovely Napili Shores Resort. We had one of the most enjoyable, relaxing, and convenient stays here. Our unit was the most well decorated and very convenient towards the front of the property in bldg B. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and enjoyed the beach chairs and umbrella while we snorkeled and swam at the beach which was just a short stroll away. The Gazebo is right on property as well as another restaurant and bar with decent happy hour food and drinks. Well-maintained large bbq grills are in several places and we used them too. Sunrise and especially sunset are classically beautiful with your own coffee or cocktail. The people around us were all enjoying the same rest and pace. It was a perfect stay. Thank you to the owner!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation. I have stayed in numerous locations/condos throughout Maui and this one tops them all. The condo has everything you need and is very clean and modern with new appliances. It’s a very short walk to the beach but we found ourselves spending most our time in a lounge chair right out front in the grass enjoying the views of the ocean. We snorkeled everyday right out front of our condo with all the turtles, it was absolutely amazing. Stop reading reviews and just book, you will not be disappointed!

We almost thought it was too good to be true but it is amazing. It is very clean has many amenities and close to beach and pool. We've stayed in many VRBOs and this was our favorite. Our family of five fit comfortably in this well located condo for a total of 10 days. The grounds were beautiful, the condo was in great condition, and the view was better than the pictures show. We were able to cook in the kitchen each day as it had all amenities we needed. The property grounds also had access to a coin operated laundry facility which was essential with three kids. The kids enjoyed the option of choosing between the two clean pools. Security was present, and staff were regularly cleaning the resort grounds. Napilli Bay was an easy walking distance, even with a paddle board, for great snorkeling and beach time. Some of the equipment such as umbrellas and boogie boards weren't functional, but the property grounds had a great store that rented beach gear and umbrellas at reasonable prices, so it was no big deal. We were also able to purchase pool noodles and beach toys for kiddos and condo donation:) We all slept great thanks to the air conditioning and comfortable bedding. The check-out instructions at the property were very simple and reasonable which was a nice after a long trip. Overall, the property is an amazing treasure. Thank you.

If you want a sweet little "system" for enjoying Maui and beating the crowds, this is your place. First, its a 3 minute walk to Napili beach, absolutely stunning plus awesome snorkeling. Second, walk 5 minutes the other direction and you get more snorkeling with lots of turtles at Honokeana bay. Third, staying at this place puts you in close proximity to the Gazebo restaurant, with back-door access (you will find out what I mean when you check in), and the Sea House restaurant for dinner (make reservations days in advance). Fourth, a great market and more restaurants are within a 5 minute drive. What a gem.

We would like to deeply thank Byron and Christine for sharing their beautiful property in a privileged location, keeping it clean and in great condition. We had a wonderful time, playing or snorkeling at the beautiful Napili beach and swimming with the turtles at Honokeana Bay or at the resorts' pools. A big treat were the access to a coastal trail with gorgeous views and sunsets, next to the Gazebo a well known breakfast and lunch place in the area. We can't wait to return!

Beautiful condo with view of the ocean. There is a bay to the left of the condo that you can snorkel with turtles and the lovely Napili Bay to the right. Condo had everything you need . We had bought extra toilet paper and paper towels from previous experiences with rentals but you will not need to buy any extras. Nice beach equipment too including a cooler.

You can hear the massive ocean waves from the condo and the beach is a short walk. The beach is also the best of both worlds…lava rocks AND beautiful sand. We watched whales breech from the water right from our sofa. It was a magical stay!

My husband and I have not gone on a vacation together in 10 years. We celebrated our 20 year anniversary at this amazing property. It was exactly as described, every amenity was included, kitchen was beautiful and we loved eating outside on our deck while enjoying the ocean view. Loved the Gazebo and Kitchen 5315, both are steps from the condo.

This property was perfect for my daughters family. Her friends rented the condo next door so the kids could go back and forth and run on the grass overlooking the ocean. It was filled with all of the beach accessories needed and being able to just call The Gazebo for easy take out was awesome! The kids also loved the Koi pond and the quick walk to Napili beach. Napili Shores is a great place for families.

Napili Shores condo B112 was everything we hoped for and more! In our opinion Napili is the best place to stay on Maui. The condo was beautiful as decor, furnishings, and updates make it a truly luxurious accommodation. Even the sleeper sofas in the living room had upgraded memory foam mattresses - very comfortable! This condo has everything with easy access to the wonderful Napili Beach. Great ocean views, amazing amenities, beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards...Christine has thought of everything to make their guests feel at home! Napili Shores is terrific and this condo is the best of the best!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this property. The unit is beautifully remodeled and the location is ideal. We enjoyed sitting out on the lanai in the evenings with the ocean and sunset views. Every day we walked down to Napili Bay to snorkel and swim. The gazebo restaurant is right outside the unit, so we were able to wait in the line at 6:30am for breakfast! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. The bed and living room couches were very comfortable. I highly recommend staying here and we look forward to our next stay!

The view was understated from the lanai. Nothing like drinking coffee in morning and looking out over ocean and Molokai and watching the sunset from the same lanai.
The only issue was with the key cards getting de-magnetized. This happened almost everyday and with ,an.y other guests.
This obviously has nothing to do with owner or unit.
I would recommend this unit to anyone.

Loved our stay in beautiful Napili! Our family has been enjoying the wonderful Napili Shores since the 70's, but your unit is our favorite so far! The view is amazing, the updates to the kitchen and general decor are first rate. We felt this unit also had less parking lot noise than others we have stayed in. All in all, if you are considering booking...don't hesitate! *Our only tip would be to maybe invest in a mattress topper as the bed is very firm. The sofa beds are pretty typical. Okay for kids, but a little challenging for adults. Maybe some foam pads would go a long way! Can pick them up at Target on your way in. Best beaches, dining and family fun right at your doorstep!

This is our second time at The Shores and our first time at Christine's wonderful, and well-equipped condo. The resort has everything you need to enjoy your time in Maui. We enjoyed breakfast at the Gazebo, dinner at the restaurant on the property, and Waterworks for all our snorkeling and surfing needs. I enjoyed a massage at Waterworks and we cannot wait to come back. The condo is spacious, well decorated and equipped with all you need to cook and relax. We've been to Maui 10+ times and we can honestly say this is the best place to vacation. Check it out!

We loved the location of the condo complex next door to Napili Beach and the location of unit within the development. Paradise! The condo was awesome with its recent upgrades. The grounds were perfect with the 2 pools, large lawn and 5 bbq’s. The owners were easy to work with. Our only concern was that we stayed 2 weeks and since the owners didn’t participate in the towel exchange which we reached out to the cleaning service for one refresh in towels and had to launder our towels at the shared laundry room the other times.

We had the best time of our lives while staying in this beautiful condo. I can’t imagine a prettier setting for a family vacation on Maui. Upon arrival we found the condo very clean and full of everything you need for a relaxing stay on Napili Bay. From the easy access to the beach and world class snorkeling to the great restaurants located right on the resort property. This place has it all.
Christine and Byron were phenomenal hosts. They supply everything you need. Beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, etc. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessities.
We had a minor issue with one of the ac thermostats during our stay. I emailed The owner about the issue and within an hour there was a technician on the way to diagnose and fix the issue. And this was on a Sunday morning during Memorial Day weekend. Even the ac technician was courteous, friendly and quick to fix the issue.
There is so much to do and see on Maui but I’m here to tell you that you can have the most wonderful Hawaiian experience here without ever leaving the resort.
Morning coffee on your lanai with beautiful songbirds stopping by to say hello. Rainbows appearing overhead more times than you can count. Best breakfast and lunch on Maui from Gazebo restaurant right on the resort grounds. Snorkeling with hundreds of tropical fish and dozens of sea turtles everyday just steps from the condo. Hiking the Kapalua costal trail for epic views and that perfect family pic. Grilling fresh fish or steaks on bbq grills right by the pool while the kids throw frisbee below swaying palm trees on a beautiful manicured lawn. And witnessing the most beautiful sunsets you’ve ever seen with a tropical beverage in your hand right from your own private lanai. This all happens daily at Napili Shores B112. Absolute heaven on earth!! We will definitely be back!
