We loved staying at this property! The resort was clean, friendly and a great location. Within steps to a beautiful beach and not a trek to get to beach/pool and back to room with little kids. The beach chairs and boogie board was a huge plus. The cooler and ice maker in the garage were great for adventure days. One of the best trips we’ve had to Hawaii. We will be staying here again if we come back to Maui!

Enjoyed this unit very much. This unit had everything we needed for our stay, even kid friendly serveware. (Just a note, they did not have sand toys so expect to buy some when you get there even though it’s pictured in the listing.) The AC was strong and the lanai was spacious with lovely sunrise views of the mountains. If you’re planning on staying at the Honua Kai resort, we highly recommend this unit.

This condo made a great home base on our trip to Maui. It was very clean and easy to access. We loved having breakfast outside every morning and really appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella. We would definitely stay here again!

Just returned from 8 nights in this lovely unit! Very clean, comfortable, and all we needed for a relaxing getaway! Excellent communication with hosts, we arrived late from a flight and keys/ wrist bands were waiting with the security folks as advised. Underground parking (lots when we were there) and a few extra amenities that made our visit so wonderful. Travelled with family who rented a couple other units in the building and ours was nicer than the others in everyone's opinion! Thanks for the memories!!

We stayed for 8 days. Honua Kai is a lovely resort for a family with young kids and is conveniently located in the heart of Kaanapali. Close to the beach, and wonderful pools. Proximity to food trucks and supermarket were also great.
During our stay, we had 2 issues. #1. Cockroaches and #2 Dishwasher stopped working
1) cockroaches(!). As soon as we checked in, we noticed there were roach traps set up in the kitchen corners, by the laundry machine, and even on the countertops. So we made sure that there is no food left in the kitchen to attract roaches to come out and wipe counters every night to make sure not even a drop of water. Yet during our 8 days of the stay, we saw at least 3 incidences of roaches crawling the kitchen counter and/or walls. We also saw roaches in the trash chute room, so it's more of a building infestation than the actual unit. (small black roaches, not big ones)
Some people say it's Hawaii so there are always cockroaches. but I've stayed in plenty of places in Maui (hotels, houses, and condos) over the past 20 years, and know which places have good pest control, and unfortunately, Konea Tower in Honua Kai was not.
As for #2, Dishwasher stopped working at the beginning of our stay, and the property manager couldn't find a repair/maintenance person to come fix it during our stay. This was also unfortunate since we had 2 young kids, so we used the kitchen quite often to cook food for the kids. Hence, we spent a good amount of time dishwashing and something we would rather want to avoid during our vacation.

This was our second time staying at Honua Kai, but our first time staying in this unit.
We knew we would love the resort from our prior stay, but this unit was perfect for our family of 4.
The unit was very clean and well appointed, and with terrific mountain views being on the 8th floor. Kitchen had everything we needed to prep a few easy meals, laundry in the unit and lots of provided gear for our beach adventures (chairs, umbrella, sand toys, coolers, etc).

We had an amazing week's vacation at the property. The condo is extremely well presented and clean. The main bed was very comfortable and the kids sleeping on the pull out sofa were also happy. The kitchen was stocked with all equipment needed during our stay. The pools and beach access at the property were great. We spent the majority of our time there with the kids. Duke's was great for dinner, as was the food truck park which we could walk to. Overall I would highly recommend the condo for a great break.

My stay at Honua Kai was amazing. The amenities at the resort are excellent. My 3 year old was at the pool all day most days. The lazy river and water slide add extra fun to the pools. We were always able to find lounge chairs and enjoyed the drink service from Duke’s. Duke’s restaurant is right on site and has delicious food. They take reservations up to 2 months in advance, and I would highly recommend getting one, as it is quite popular.
The condo is exactly as pictured and described, and was perfect for myself, husband, toddler and baby. Having the baby equipment there was very helpful. The host was very responsive and made the whole experience easy. We will definitely be back, and will be recommending this unit to our friends as well.
Some baby friendly recommendations and restaurants in the area are: Baby Beach, Waikiki Brewing, Cheeseburger in Paradise.

Had a wonderful stay at Konea 380. Unit looked just like the photos. The resort was beautiful. Kitchen was well stocked with anything that you could possibly need. The only thing that I did not give 5 stars was cleanliness because the unit was a little dusty. Otherwise, the unit was very clean. Didn’t require any assistance while we were at the unit, but all communication between myself and management received a quick response. The bed was very comfortable and condo was well stocked with extras, towels, blankets, etc. Only suggestion for the owners would be to add an additional mirror. There is only one mirror for the entire unit. It makes it difficult to try to get ready for dinner or your day with only one mirror. This is a minor detail that could make the stay a little less complicated. Maui is an amazing island with a lot to see and do OR the resort offers plenty of relaxation. Overall, a perfect stay and would recommend to others and would stay again.

I stayed at this location for 3 days and enjoyed my stay. It was cozy and at a beautiful location. The host was prompt in responding to all of our needs during our stay. My only suggestion is to place another mirror somewhere (maybe a long one). My fiance and I got ready in this unit for our engagement photoshoot and it would have been helpful to have more than one mirror (but nothing that can't be fixed). We also enjoyed the resort amenities and the easy walk from our unit to the beach!

This condo was exactly what we were looking for when planning a trip to Maui! It had everything we needed in the kitchen for our nights we wanted to eat in, and I could go on and on about the pools!! The unit was very clean and as described, well stocked with beach toys to borrow. Bed was comfortable and pull out couch worked well for our kids. The on island manager was very helpful and responsive via phone/text when we had questions. Check in/check out was easy. Though the unit is close to the elevator and faces the front entrance of the building, noise was never a problem.
Resort was perfect for our kids, ages 6 and 9. We especially loved the pool area, and spent some time there every day of our visit. There is a general store on the first floor of the unit's building, Konea. Duke's Beach House of restaurant is on the property and was a fun place to eat, but can have a long wait for dinner. Beach is nice but has coral by the shore, better for snorkeling rather than swimming.

We had the best time staying in this vacation rental! They were accommodating and always communicative on email and text. The unit is equipped with beach chairs, boogie boards coolers, beach toys, pool floaties. The unit also comes with the kitchen pantry basics like salt, pepper, olive oil spray, some spices, cleaning products. The on site resort staff are also very helpful and kind, and also made our stay wonderful! Many different pools to choose from and right on the beach to enjoy the gorgeous sunsets. Will happily stay here again!

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it!! The beaches were beautiful, we saw so many fish and sea turtles! Black rock beach down the road is also an awesome beach for snorkeling and cliff jumping! Having the general store and dukes downstairs was amazing! We also loved the pools and hot tubs! Great place!

This was our first time to Hawaii and to Maui. We were happy with our choice! The unit is decorated fun and we were pleasantly surprised with the Honua Kai resort overall.
Maryam was very responsive before and during the trip. She had a pack and play and stroller for us (we had our 8 month old)
We were really grateful for the beach chairs/umbrella/boogie boards in the closet that we could use throughout the week.
The only challenging part was the parking garage for Honua Kai isn’t huge, so if you return back later in the evening, sometimes it’s a bit of a walk from the other resort parking areas back to the room.
But we would definitely come back to this unit and to Honua Kai resort overall!

From the amazing staff, to the beautiful customized condo, this place was top notch! Only minutes away from Whalers Village, Times Supermarket, Food trucks & need i mention the absolutely breathtaking Kaanapali beach; this place was THE perfect stay for my dad and I’s first visit to Maui. The check in was easy, bellhop was very friendly and informative, everything was easy access (the room is right by the elevators and the trash shoot) and this place?! Oh. My. GOSH! absolutely beautiful décor, stocked with everything you could possibly need… we felt like we were at home lol. Also, i really liked that there were labels for just about everything, so i didn’t have to bother the Host on mundane questions, and so we could properly upkeep the condo. But if i did have any questions, Maryam and Michelle were both there to help! (They both actually texted me to make sure i got checked in okay and to see how everything was going, which i most definitely appreciated! Definitely going to be recommending this place to friends and family! Thanks Maryam & Amir!
p.s. the spa here is AMAZING! had a message and facial which left me feeling rejuvenated and relaxed, walking out to the lounge area afterward i truly felt like i was on cloud 9 lol.

Our family loved staying here! The owners were so responsive and they had someone check in with us during our stay when we had questions or needed an extra blanket. The resort is lovely and made relaxing as a family so easy and carefree. The beach items (ex. chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, sand toys) in the room definitely came in handy! We loved not having to rent or purchase those items ourselves. The only challenge we had was finding parking in the underground garage when we came back late one night but the gentlemen at the front desk gave me a ride back in a golf cart when I had to park further away. We will definitely be back!

This property was absolutely GREAT! All the amenities needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay were spot on. Both the owner and the property manager were very easy to work with and especially accommodating! Location is good and close to the highways which you will be taking every time you need to get around and visit this beautiful Island.
