The accommodations were very comfortable with pretty much everything we needed almost like being home. Everything was good other than owners of another unit that were very rude, confrontational and abusive with foul language to my daughter & her husband in the parking structure over where they parked which wasn’t even their space. According to staff we talked with this couple is well known for this kind of behavior and I believe the condo board they said are forcing them out. Perfect stay other than them.

The property is good, and the views are great. Our low rating is due to the Remote Property Manager (RPM) Katie, located in the Midwest. The listing says locally managed, but the on-site person only deals with housekeeping. RPM Katie seems inexperienced or incompetent. Our trip was almost ruined by how often RPM Katie did not give us 24 hours’ notice before people entered the condo, even though they were not emergencies. First, the owner walked in unannounced and seemed surprised we were there. The next day, RPM Katie requested access to the condo for the owner, who came later that day. Days later, at 9 am, a Lahaina contractor arrived to install blinds in a bedroom with no prior notice at all. After the contractor was already here, RPM Katie called requesting access for them, which we were completely unprepared for. Unsecured personal items, money, clothing were all laying out. We declined and RPM Katie still gave the installer approval to continue. When we didn’t let him in the room, she charged us a $250 contractor rescheduling fee. We disputed the charge with VRBO and won. Our recommendation after having to change plans and spend hours dealing with the poor communication, inexperience or incompetence of the RPM Katie, is to look for rental properties that are truly locally managed. Maui is our favorite place. 2113 was a great home for our family this trip. It had a beautiful view and came with everything we needed during our stay. The trips always go by so fast but we can’t wait to be back. Thanks again for opening up your lovely home!

This was our fifth stay at the Alii and first in this unit. We absolutely loved it and would hope to stay here again! Beautiful views, friendly staff, and spacious unit for our family. Only feedback which are easy fixes would be more coffee cups and forks and spoons! Still a 5 star rating! 😀

The place was wonderful. Clean, well kept and everything you did in the kitchen. Really enjoyed the lanai, beautiful view of the water and the pool area. All the comforts of home. Would highly recommend it.

Our family of 5 (w/3 kids in their 20s) had a great stay in this unit. It was clean and comfortable and the layout was perfect. Everything was in excellent condition. Views are amazing. Communication was great as well. We have stayed at the Alii several times over the years and it’s our favorite! Can’t wait to return!

The condo was wonderful! The view from the balcony couldn't be beat - it was like the whales were on a freeway in front of us. The beds were very comfortable.
I was disappointed that there was not a closet with beach toys and such. We all loved our stay.

First time staying at this property. Lovely spot with a fantastic view of the ocean! Resort is nice and quiet. No restaurant on site but Westin next door has a great little food market with poke bowls, sandwiches, pizza to go and a Starbucks! This place is in the perfect location on beautiful Kaanapali beach. Condo had everything we needed and beds were super comfortable. Only complaint is there are no blinds in the master bedroom and it’s bright in the morning but if you are an early riser it will be fine.

Absolutely stunning view! Location is awesome, close walk to everything thing on Kaanapali! Fully equipped, the master shower presser is fabulous! Comfy beds! Kitchen set up perfect! Big huge lanai for the whole family! And again the view is fantastic! We will stay here again forsure! The pools are wonderful, warm hot tubs!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The place was immaculate. It was so spacious and the view was amazing. My husband and I had our own "wing" on the left side with a big bedroom and two bathroom areas to get ready. Our two college age daughters stayed on the other "wing" with their own big bedroom and bathroom area. We loved the comfy bed in the middle of the two "wings" (the 3rd bedroom) it was a favorite place to nap. Big dining table and great kitchen area and sectional made us feel right at home. The patio area was amazing! Plenty of room to have cocktails and play cards and enjoy the sunrise/sunsets. We would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend!

The resort is beautiful! Our unit had a balcony overlooking the pools , beach and water. There are several different pools & hot tubs to choose from, and many lounge chairs available to sit by the pools and enjoy the day.
It is beachfront, however, there is no direct entrance to the beach at the moment as they beachfront sidewalk is under repair. The direct access to the beach from the property is barricaded. You have to walk around the property to a different sidewalk that takes you alongside the grounds and down to the beach. So you can get to the beach, but it somewhat inconvenient. Even so, we very much enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

Overall was great! The only reason I gave an overall 4 rating is because of a couple of things. They have a fence around the property which to prevent access to the beach witch I understand but there was an opening you could use to get out. We would go out to watch the sunset and come back within 15 mins of it setting and that entrance would be closed already and we would have to walk all the way around. They need to keep it open at least 1/2 hour past sunset. My biggest complaint would be not being able to sit in the pool area until 8 a.m. We got up at 6 every morning to walk then we would have to find another property to sit and drink our coffee until ours opened. There's the pavilion area but can't see the ocean and the t.vs. are going. One other minor thing, the paths were pretty stained. Overall all though it's a great property and I would stay there again and recommend it to anyone to stay there.

Overall, the property is fantastic! Vicky, the onsite manager was helpful upon our arrival with a minor cleaning issue. Beyond that initial issue, the space, condition, and usability of the unit are beyond compare! The view from this 11th floor unit is amazing and we enjoyed breakfast and lunch each day from the huge patio. We travelled to Kaanapali for a friend's wedding with our 2 adult children and new - daughter-in-law. Everyone enjoyed the luxury level of this property - the unit itself, the pool, exercise room and especially the ideal location, next door to the Westin and Whaler's Villiage. Best place to stay on Maui by far!

We walked in and our immediate response was “Wow”. We love the Kaanapali Alli and this unit on the top floor was fabulous. It has views from every room. We loved the large balcony for morning coffee and evening wine!! The unit was equipped with everything we needed. We loved our stay and would love to come back.

Our party of four adults truly enjoyed our stay at the kaanapali Ali condo. Just as described, it had an expansive ocean view from the 11th floor. The unit itself was spacious and beautifully appointed including some very comfy beds. My only observation was that the cleaning people can do a better job at cleaning the showers as they had hair and sand from the prior guests in them. For the $350 they charge to clean the unit after your departure one would expect the unit to be spotless in every nook and cranny. Overall, though, because of the location of the unit and the very nice condo we certainly did enjoy our stay.

Let me start with how easy it was to communicate with Katie, she was very responsive & easy to work with. We couldn't wait to go on this trip, we were traveling with our adult children & our daughters boyfriend. This condo was so perfect as everyone needed their own bed. The layout was perfect! When we arrived the staff brought all of our luggage & grocery items up to the condo for us. We noticed the electric blinds were not working in one of the bedrooms, unfortunately this blocked the beautiful view, I contacted Katie & she had her island contact reach out to us right away. the blinds were fixed by the next day. The Lanai was heaven, the views are outstanding & there was plenty of room for the 5 of us to gather there every morning for coffee & every evening. The condo is so conveniently located to Whalers Village, a short walk to Black Rock for snorkeling & the beach directly in front of us was perfect! Every one of the staff we came in contact with was very friendly, we even took advantage of the grill masters one night. The gym was top notch too! We had an amazing week & probably over scheduled ourselves but having that wonderful condo to come back to at the end of each day was awesome! The beds & linens were so comfortable & leaving the bedroom window open allowed us to fall asleep each night listening to the waves crash on the shore & the palm trees swoosh in the breeze! I hope to plan another trip next year & we would definitely rent this condo again!

The entire experience was terrific. Beautiful condo near everything you needed to get to. We were able to cook and eat in a great deal. Plenty of grills on the property enabled this to happen. We would definitely return to this condo.

This unit is located in a nice part of the property. Top floor, ocean view with large patio. Check in easy and bellmen were extremely helpful with luggage and groceries throughout stay. Overall unit could use a little attention. A few things broken or not working at all, manager mentioned having a hard time getting supplies and workers to fix but trying. Cleaning staff missed a few areas and those two things are why the 4 stars.

This was a dream vacation for my husband and our 2 grown adult children with spouses. Beautiful condo and location. I have stayed on Kaanappali beach twice before but never before at the Alii. Beds were comfortable, spacious lanai, nice showers. Thought for the price per night, they would provide enough toliet paper, paper towels and basic necessities to get us through the week., we had to buy more. No spices, napkins, foil, stuff like that, ect. We left quite a bit for the next guests. Other than that it was a perfect vacation!

For the price of the condo, and based on other VRBO experiences, I would have expected the kitchen to be fully stocked with paper goods, spices, and maybe even some coffee as a welcome. I also would have expected the bathrooms to be fully stocked. We had to buy paper goods, napkins, paper towels, plates, basic spices, oils, and foil. We left what was left over for the next guests.
Overall we enjoyed our two weeks in Maui, however, for the price we paid, I expected a more personal touch.
