We loved our stay at the Cliffs. Our view was memorable; every day was gorgeous, whether it was raining or sunny. Our beds were super comfortable, the deck/lanai was perfect. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi at the community center. The kitchen was fully equipped. We cooked breakfast every morning. We enjoyed going to Hanalei, Poipu, and hanging out in nearby areas (like Annini Beach and Kilauea). The roosters and the Nenes were fun to watch. We can't wait to stay here again.

My first time to the islands. Wanted a slow relaxed pace so chose Kauai. This condo at the Cliffs was perfect. Loved the lanai overlooking the ocean. And it’s a short walk to the Adirondack chairs at the cliffs overlooking the ocean. Amazing. The pool with waterfall feature is a nice place to cool off and relax. The condo had everything we needed. Loved being able to do laundry. Had a beach day and the closet had more than we needed for that!

Our stay at this resort was an overall great experience. The patio provided a beautiful place to relax, play cards and watch the ocean all day long. The rooms were accompanied with gorgeous Hawaiian decor and stayed relatively cool throughout the day. Kitchen was stocked with all appliances necessary to cook all meals. The location was ideal as it sat on the ocean and was convenient in proximity to the town.

We loved this unit at the Cliffs. It is so well appointed and truly, of all the places we have stayed over the past several decades, this was by far, the nicest. Not only is the tropical decor absolutely lovely, all the little touches--like toothbrush holders and flowers in bathroom vases--make the condo so homey. My son said upon entering, "This looks like someone's well kept home." My son is a coffee lover, and although it took him a while to get the hang of the Espresso machine, he did master it and made delicious coffee every morning. The owners left a canister of fresh coffee beans.
The unit has all lots of pots and pans, knives, utensils, rice cooker, juicer, (even a lemon squeezer) and the linens and towels are high end. The artwork on all of the walls is beautiful, and atypical of most rentals.
The view is spectacular!! On our first night the sunset was other worldly.
Anita and Albert were very responsive to all of our questions and requests. The bedroom AC malfunctioned, and they immediately had someone replace it!
There are multiple games, puzzles and books in the various cabinets, and the back lanai has many chairs, coolers, snorkel equipment, and an umbrella for the beach. Many fans make the unit comfortable. We cannot recommend this unit at the Cliffs more highly.

This is a very nice place and the owners have thought about all the details. The kitchen is very well outfitted with all you would ever need for meal preparation.
The views are perfect for sunrises, sunsets, and any time spent on the veranda. The location is great and the neighborhood is quiet. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a nice getaway.

The view from this condo can not be beat! Amazing to sit on the lanai and relax. If you decide to cook in the well appointed kitchen you will never have a better view doing it. The place could really use new bath towels and a deep clean but we would stay again. Comfortable beds too.

We had a great stay at this condo in Princeville for 4 adults and an infant! The views from the balcony can't be beat. While there aren't really any beaches within walking distance, we were a 15-30 minute drive from several beautiful ones that we wanted to try in different directions. The pool and other amenities at the resort were all really great. And the kitchen is very well stocked for cooking!

We have stayed in many rentals and this is one of the best equipped places we have stayed. From the latte machine, to the lawn chairs and beach toys, the extra touches really made it that much more enjoyable. It is in a great complex, and the kids loved the pool and park. Before we arrived, Albert emailed us with helpful information for planning our trip and time. The check-in process was a breeze. We had an issue with the tv and Albert had fixed it immediately. The condo is well appointed and had everything we needed to make our meals. We enjoyed watching the sunsets every night from the balcony. The views from this condo of the ocean are spectacular. There was a food truck one night so we didn't even have to leave to get dinner. The property is fantastic!

Everything was seamless and the view is out of this world. We loved the activities closet and utilized most of what was offered. The hot tub at night was soothing and the hidden trails were a bonus we weren't expecting. The sound of crashing waves along the cliff will always be something I think about. Thanks for the amazing honeymoon experience! It couldn't have been better!

Albert was the most kind and generous property owner that I have ever rented from. The unit was stocked with everything you could possibly need. From spices & condiments to a fun storage cabinet, with boogie boards & snorkel & even coolers and chairs! The wifi worked beautifully, with my son taking a Advanced Calculus final, which required a phone with camera on wifi, plus his laptop to take the test (so it is very suitable if you need to do some work while there.) We only stayed 5 nights because he headed to Poipu for the remainder of our stay, but truthfully enjoyed Albert's unit so much we would have happily stayed there the whole time. As for AC, we used it one night, and then was not necessary, as the windows open, even in the loft was more than sufficient to have a nice breeze through the unit. The view is spectacular. I sure hope to come back someday soon.... Thank you to Albert & Anita.

So much to say about the property. First, the stellar view to the ocean is amazing. The pots and pans are in great condition. Making espresso in the morning is an added bonus. The Cliffs facilities are great. The pool is a bit smaller than we expected, but there is a second is the back of the waterfalls.
The drive to Hanalei is short as is the drive to the grocery store. Some reviews state the condo is dated. However, I can imagine what it would cost to modernize a kitchen in Hawaii and this would just be added on to the cost of the stay.
If we go back to Kauai, we will be back to this property.

Let me start with the closest I have with a criticism...some decor and appliances are dated. Having said that, the condo was very clean and had everything that we needed so. My wife was worried about lack of air conditioning, but the ventilation made it comfortable all week. Having the washer and dryer made packing a lot easier. There were basic seasonings in the pantry, dish soap, laundry detergent, soap, and shampoo in the condo, so no need to bring all of that. The neighborhood was great. The kids loved having the loft as their own space. My wife and I loved watched whales play in the ocean several mornings as we had coffee.
We will definitely check on the availability of this condo next time we're in Kauai.

Terrific condo - breathtaking view, we saw whales and the most amazing sunsets & sunrises. The bed in the primary room is very comfortable and the ac in the room is amazing. The condo is on the 3rd floor, there are no elevators, so prepare to carry your bags up the stairs, but it is worth it once you reach the top! The condo was very clean, there is a bidet, which was a nice perk. Communication with the owner was amazing. I will defiantly stay again, the location, the vibe, the energy was a perfect 10- oh and we did go to the pool, very nice with plenty of room.

Furniture is old and grungy.
Screen door to the lanai has been worn out for some time. Would not stay on the track as the rollers are simply gone from wear.
Window screens in the loft have been torn for some time.
There was a layer of dust all flat surfaces.
Several areas were simply dirty.
Kitchen knives and scissors were very dull.
No designated parking.
Generally speaking, the inside of the unit is not well maintained.
Multiple light switches are non functional. No lighting for the loft stairs.
Would not recommend to friends especially at the price point.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cliffs. This condo was the perfect size for our family of four. We had everything we needed and then some! The showstopper was the ocean view. Most people walk to enjoy the same view to sit at the tables and chairs below. We were able to enjoy it from the comfort of our condo. The complex had food trucks on site a few nights a week which was very nice. The one heads up I'll give is that the pool's shallow end is 4ft. tall. My kiddos aren't that tall yet and would tire a little quicker from swimming than usual without being able to stand. Pool floaties from the activity closet helped with that! All around it was a wonderful stay. Much appreciated!

6 adults split this place easily. Amazing view of ocean. Nice pool/hot area. Lots of outdoor seating and grilling areas for you to use. Be weary of early morning events on the South Side of Kauai because it’s quite the drive in the morning.

A beautiful, ocean front condo with amazing views. We've stayed in many places in Kauai but this was one of our favorites. The condo is fully equipped. We cooked all meals at home, mostly preparing dinners on the shared weber grills steps from the condo's landing stairs. The condo literally has everything you need for your vacation. We stopped at Costco after leaving the airport to buy bug spray, shampoo, suntan lotion and other supplies. It ends up the condo had plenty of both and now even more as we left our extra for the next tenants. The kitchen is well equipped and the spice selection is an assortment left from the previous tenants. You buy some and you use some. Lot's of beach supplies such as chairs, umbrellas, bags, towels, snorkling equipment, boogie boards, etc. Don't rent beach stuff until you see if it is at the condo. Surprisingly, they even provided enough bathroom supplies including shampoo and conditioner. Again, I bought at Costco so there is even more choices for future tenants. The owners were great. We had a toaster that suddenly had issues. We sent a message tot he owners and we had a new toaster at the office the next day. Finally, this condo is on the 3rd floor. The walk up is easy and worth the views. One day we had multiple whale sightings. We had just taken a picture of the rainbow over the ocean from the deck when 2 whales jumped almost completely out of the water. The condo has 3 pairs of binoculars so you can catch a closer view of them if you would like.
BTW, buy your gas, meats and wines at Costco to save a bundle. Beer you can buy at Foodland in Princeville. Be sure to get your foodland card when you first shop there.

The property was an easy jumping point to the town and beach of Hanalei, as well as other north shore beaches, restaurants and attractions. The grounds and golf course just up the road were beautiful to walk around.
The unit faced the ocean and a large lawn where tenants gathered to watch sunrise and sunset, though you didn’t have to leave the porch to have the same view. The interior of the unit was slightly dated but we had everything we needed, including coffee, bug spray and laundry. The pool and adjacent facilities are nice and check-in and out were super easy.

The view of the ocean alone makes this a wonderful place to stay on Kauai. The property is tastefully decorated with comfortable seating. The master bedroom is on the main floor & has its own bathroom. The loft contains two queen size beds; those who sleep there use the second bathroom off the main living area. The stairs to the loft are steep, but fortunately have railings on both sides. The kitchen is one of the best equipped kitchens we have seen in our travels--many pots & pans, lots of eating, cooking and servings utensils, an espresso machine (with instructions), full-size refrigerator, knives & scissors, dishes for storing leftovers, spices, even foil and plastic wraps. If you must watch TV, there are screens in the living area, the master bedroom and the loft. But why waste you time on TV? Better to sit out on the lanai and take in the view, or go for a swim and soak in the hot tub, or play tennis or pickle ball.

We have had the most wonderful time at Anita and Albert's home. We really felt we were home away from home. We were able to cook meals as we needed to and the princeville market is very close. We wake up to and lulled to sleep with the sound of the ocean waves. Being greeted in the morning with the gorgeous view of the ocean will put a smile to your face. And because we had small children, the beach things that they provided, especially the sand toys is so helpful. The wifi is good as well as we needed to check on some work stuff. And lastly, we loved the location. Princeville is so pretty and so close to our most favorite place in the whole of kauai, the Queen's bath. If we ever go back to kauai, I hope this unit will be available for us to rent .

What an absolutely perfect stay! Albert was very quick to respond with our questions before the trip and the condo was so perfect for us and our two teenagers! The breezes were heavenly and we didn’t use the a/c once. Plenty of space to spread out and decorated beautifully. It was great to have ice chests and boogie boards for our beach days at Hanalei, Anini and Tunnels. The view is amazing from the large windows and patio and location is just perfect to explore the North shore! We loved coming back and using the gorgeous pool, the facilities are great there. It’s also definitely a cook’s kitchen with everything you could need as we made most of our meals there. Highly recommend staying here, you’ll love it!

Our family loved this rental property. It’s very close to amazing beaches and hikes on the north shore. The property manager was very helpful with suggestions and opinions on hikes and excursions and super fast to respond.
We loved having our meals on the lanai watching the ocean. Even washing dishes wasn’t much of a chore with that view from the kitchen. Our kids also enjoyed the pool quite a bit. The grocery store is also very conveniently located.
