Everything you could need in this lovely home a short walk to a beach. A great deck to enjoy the quiet and listen to birdsong. The home has large bedrooms and there is someplace for everyone. Perfect for our family! The hosts are so gracious; even a tree provided. Thank you for a wonderful Christmas stay.

Our stay at the Kahana house was fantastic! The spacious home comfortably accommodated our group of 8 adults. The pictures truly don’t do the house justice! It was clean, well-equipped with all the amenities, including everything needed for the beach, and the kitchen was impressively stocked with a variety of accessories. Its proximity to beaches and convenient accessibility to various destinations made our trips hassle-free. A big shoutout to Lauren, who was incredibly accommodating and promptly addressed all our inquiries and requests. Overall, a wonderful experience made even better by the welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone visiting this area of Maui.

Our family vacation was July 31-Aug 10, 2023, the period before and two days during the devastating wildfires which burned beautiful Lahaina. Our time spent before the fires was fun-filled and the house was absolutely gorgeous and a perfect configuration for our family of 3 adult couples and 2 kids. The kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked and the furnishings were beautiful. I would highly recommend renting this property!
But, the element that really stands out to our family is the attention to our family’s well being during the fires. We were in Kehei when the fire broke out and despite the lack of cell service, internet and power to the area of the property, Lauren drove to a hill top to contact us to check on us. We were never able to return to the property and Lauren and Michael have since packed our belongings for us and are storing them until will are able to sort out what to do. In addition they sent passports to us via UPS Despite a devastating personal loss for their family, we have texted back and forth over 20 times! What kind of host does all this? An extraordinarily kind, caring and committed host! We cannot thank Lauren and Michael enough. Although West Maui is currently restricting visitors, as soon as it opens up please consider supporting this family by booking this property. You won’t regret it.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Kahana Beach house, just 15 minutes north of downtown Lahaina. The house had everything our 3-generation family needed for our vacation— it was clean, comfortable and exactly as described. And the location was excellent! We could walk to the beach a block away, or easily drive 5 minutes north to Napili Bay, an idyllic Maui beach perfect for snorkeling and swimming! Our family loved sitting on the lanai at any time of day—always breezy and relaxing. Highly recommend this stay for a family vacation in paradise!

Our family (2 adults, 2 children) and parents stayed here for our week in Maui. It was a beautiful, clean, and well-equipped house. About a 5 minute walk to a beach and a 5 minute drive to a couple of great nearby snorkeling spots, it was a great location for getting to the beach. However, being north of Lahaina, it was a bit of a drive to take in the other sites on Maui (Haleakala and the Road to Hana), but overall not a big deal. We enjoyed playing games and grilling out a couple of nights on the large lanai. Overall one of the best houses we've rented!

The property was clean and spacious, just as pictured. Our AC was broken the first 3 days, which is why I'm docking a star, but the host was very nice and responsive in getting it fixed, but it was delayed since they had to order a new part.
Otherwise the stay was perfect! Lots of boogie boards, chairs and beach stuff in the back so that we didn't need to buy anything. Highly recommended for large groups!

We had a BLAST during our stay here. On day 2 of our trip we were already discussing when we could come back and book this house again. Very spacious, bedrooms are all good size. This is what my family dreamt of when we were planning our trip to Maui. HIGHLY recommend this rental… just please don’t book on the week we are trying to return ;)

Great location as this home is just a short walk to the beach; across the street and through a condominium complex. The beach is awesome, great sand, lots of turtles swimming around and saw several whales breach out of the water.
The home is well appointed, lots of kitchen space, 3 big bathrooms and 4 very nice bedrooms. The outdoor eating space was so delightful!

Seven adults stayed comfortably in this house. We appreciated a nice bedroom on the first floor for couple who could not use stairs. Beds and furniture were comfortable. The deck was a very nice place to relax together, also with comfortable furniture. We appreciated that the kitchen had all the equipment we needed to cook and bake. We even had a nice Christmas tree and gifts when we arrived! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay on Maui!

Clean, well stocked, modern and comfortable. Lots of quality towels, games, fresh coffee beans and chocolates kindly supplied by the hosts. Nice touch. Everyone in our group had only good things to say about the house and grounds. There was a bit of noise from traffic on the road next to the house, but nothing major. The stairs to the second floor are quite creaky however, so it was hard to be quiet in the morning, particularly for those in the bedroom underneath the stairs.
Would gladly stay here again if the opportunity ever arises.

This property is even more beautiful in person! We spent 10 days here and never wanted to leave. This house had the space to accommodate my husband and I, our adult daughter, adult son and his fiancé, my mother and father in law. Beautiful back yard and patio where we enjoyed morning coffee, lunch, and even dinner. Nice kitchen and dining room. Very short walk to the beach making it quick and easy to return to the house if needed. Beach chairs beach towels for all. We couldn't have been happier with this property and the owners.

This house was absolutely perfect for our party of 8 + 2 babies. Kitchen was stocked with plenty of everything including spices and quality pots/pans! Everything we needed for a beach day was there... sunblock, bug spray, chairs, towels, an umbrella, coolers, and even beach toys. The backyard was also a great retreat with a hammock to relax on. The hosts were also so great. The house cleaner forgot to leave out the pack n play so Lauren came to the house super quickly to get it out for me. Overall, we were extremely happy and made my mom's 70th birthday trip an unforgettable one!

The house was wonderfully spacious, beautifully furnished and abundantly supplied. It had everything we needed and more. Lauren and Michael were responsive and accommodating.
The neighborhood was relatively quiet. Construction on the road made access to Napili much less convenient, which was unfortunate.

This beautiful, clean, comfortable home in a desirable location and is well suited to hosting a family. All bedrooms are equally comfortable and private. The kitchen is well stocked (awesome blender, coffee filters, spices etc) and we enjoyed making meals and eating them on the back porch. The nearby beach is rocky (hint: bring water shoes!) but is so convenient and was never crowded. Beach chairs, towels and even a cooler are provided. Our infant grandson really loved playing in the sand and his parents loved that the house was so close. Services like restaurants, gas and a convenience store are within walking distance. Golf courses are just a short drive away.This is definitely a place we would return to!

This house definitely filled the bill for our family. We stayed 10 days with our adult children and grandchildren. We expected to cook more than we did. However, we ended up socializing and relaxing. The kids rented bikes at the nearby Boss Frogs. We all found the Beach House a good food venue. A bonus was that a movie was filmed there during our stay. A local bar, Dollies, was a pleasant surprise with its excellent pizza. The China Boat a block away rounded us out with good Chinese food. We also found Duke’s Beach House a fine venue but a car is helpful even though it is walkable. In other words, the house has a terrific location. We enjoyed the large living room and deck. Our hosts supply beach chairs and a large umbrella that we used regularly for the nearby secret beach. Having separate bedrooms and bathrooms was a hit. Our hosts did a great job of thinking through everything.

Property is a 300 feet walk to a small beach that is not crowded. The hosts have the house set up with everything you need from a stocked kitchen with barbecue grille to beach towels and boogie boards. The house is tastefully decorated and modern with a very nice outdoor lanai for lounging. There is one bedroom on the first floor and 3 bedrooms on the second floor which allows for privacy if traveling with 2 families. Laundry is on the second floor. Location of the property is excellent as most attractions in the Lahaina area are within 15 minutes. We really enjoyed our stay.

It was a very spacious house with a large deck that can fit the 7 of us easily. The air conditioner is monitored and controlled and the back upstairs bedrooms are always stuffy and hot when you come home from a hot day on the beach. The home has everything you would need to live comfortably.
