We could not have had a better time at this piece of paradise. This was our 4th trip to Maui and it was our best trip largely because of the location of this beautiful condo. So close to the beach, shopping, restaurants, the pool, beach walks, etc. The Akahi grounds were beautiful and extremely well maintained. The pool was fantastic and provided a welcome and refreshing relief during the heat of the day. The two impeccably clean BBQ grills were also very much appreciated. The flowers that surround the grounds were gorgeous. The views from the condo lanai were breathtaking. One of the highlights during our stay was watching the workers climb high to the tops of the palm trees to trim them…….what an impressive show!! We thoroughly enjoyed sipping our morning coffee and our evenings watching the sunsets from the lanai, it was another highlight for us. The owners have literally thought of everything to make their guests comfortable. The condo was so well stocked with everything and anything guests would need for their stay, and the information they provided was complete and very helpful. We very much look forward to our next visit…..we’ll be counting the days. Thanks again for everything.

What can we say that hasn't already been said?!
This home away from home is perfect! A comfortable and quiet Condo in a terrific Kihei location which supplies almost everything one could possibly need, from Beach chairs to Zip lock bags and everything in between. Our Hosts Bettina and Bernie have thought of everything! There are 3 great beaches very close by and is also near more great beaches and Snorkeling in Wailea and Makena.
There are Restaurants and shops nearby, and it would be tough to beat those wonderful Sunset views from the Lanai!

My husband and I spent a wonderful 16 days in Bettina and Bernie’s beautiful condo; everything was perfect! This is our sixth time to Maui and this is the most equipped condo we have stayed in. Amazing views from the lanai, and inside the condo. The condo was immaculate and has everything you could possibly need while in Maui. The large bedroom has tons of storage and a really comfortable bed. There are several beautiful beaches in walking distance or a short drive. We rented snorkel equipment and a boogie board from Auntie Snorkel, as Kamaole Beach Parks 1, 2 and 3 have excellent snorkelling; we saw so many turtles! We had a late flight and Bettina gave us a late check out, allowing us to enjoy a full day at the beach. Although we did not have any issues, Bettina was communicative and checked in with us. We would definitely return!

The highlight of this property was its perfect location in Kihei. Close to markets and restaurants, but located at the rear of the complex so it was very quiet. Awesome parking space. Located on an upper floor, the view of the sunset and the ocean were fantastic.

This was a great place to stay! Bettina and Bernie have thought of everything anyone could possibly need and they have it all. I loved the glass doors opening up the lanai, bringing the outdoors in. So much room! Hosts have everything very conveniently labeled, so very easy to find and put away. We will very definitely stay here again, did not want to leave!

Bettina’s condo has everything you could hope for for your stay and more. Supplies were left, condiments, beach chairs, cooler, etc. The location is ideal, right in front of the beach, perfect for beach walks in the mornings and close walk to food as well. 5 stars and more. We loved our stay and can’t wait to go back.

A true gem !! When we entered the condo it was immaculate and there were fresh flowers on the counter and a welcome gift and postcard !! The view from the lanai is incredible and we spent every morning taking it all in !! Celebrating our 40th anniversary and my husband’s birthday here was everything we dreamed of and more ❤️
The owners have supplied so many extras to ensure our every comfort ❤️
The walk to the beach is only a few minutes down the scenic hill to the beautiful beach of Kamaole II
But you can easily walk to several other beaches … they are all right there in Kihei!
We are already planning our trip for next year and we are so thankful for this beautiful time at this tastefully decorated and well maintained condo in Kihei

My wife and I throughly enjoyed our stay at Betinna and Bernie's condo. It far exceeded our expectations. The unit is beautiful and fully equipped with everything you would need. Immaculately clean and comfortable. The view is unbelievable. The sunsets are glorious. The upgraded kitchen and bath are stocked with everything. The bedding is top of the line. The property itself is very well maintained and is a great location centrally located next to everything. I highly recommend this property. The owners are very accomadating. We can't wait to return. What a great location, close to all the local restaurants, sports bar, coffee shops, and the Beach!
The condo was everything the owners said it was with all the amenities of home. There was even drinks in the fridge, a stocked bar, and Air conditioning to make it perfect!
You have your own designated parking space, a convenient elevator so no lugging bags up the stairs.
The owners even provide beach towels and beach chairs to use. We just cant say how nice this was, and we will be back.

Bernie and Bettina’s condo was perfect and had everything you could possibly need for an amazing get away. We love the location of the condo as it’s within walking distance to our favorite beach and some great restaurants. The communication prior to arrival was so helpful. Wonderful owners of this beautiful 5th floor condo, overlooking the ocean and just minutes from the beach. Everything was so meticulously maintained and every amenity was present. Sunset views every evening off the private balcony overlooking the swimming pool.

Bettina and her husband are extremely warm hosts that will make your stay in Kihei super easy by giving you recommendations and locals' insights! The apartment itself felt very safe (there are multiple locks on the door, it's in a well established neighborhood, in a well managed building complex) and close to all of the amenities we wanted. There's a high quality beach literally across the street that stretches for a mile+ north that makes for a great walk in the late evenings before sunset. There are also good bakeries and restaurants nearby where you can grab any one of your meals. As a final plus, Bettina's apartment is very well stocked with cooking supplies so you can make some of your own meals at home. I would definitely recommend for people to stay here and would stay here again myself the next time I'm in Kihei!

The condo is immaculate. The owner supplies EVERYTHING for a fabulous stay on Maui. The big opening to the Lanai lets you enjoy a breathtaking panoramic ocean view and stunning sunsets. It's a Maui Gem. We always stay a month and are so thankful to the owners that they share there home away from home with us. We definitely recommend this 5 star condo. Spent 12 days at this beautiful place, owners are the best to deal with and a pleasure of getting to know.
Everything is in perfect condition and I have not seen one this well with layout and decorated.

This condo has been lovingly and meticulously remodelled and equipped with the guests comfort and enjoyment in mind and is by far the nicest accommodation we have found in all our trips to Maui. The owners' attention to detail is evident everywhere you look. They have made a home away from home for their guests to share and to feel most welcome in. We love the expansive sliding doors opening on to the lanai. The views are stunning and there is a see through sun shade for the hottest part of the day. A selection of wonderful
beaches, stores and restaurants are a short walk or car ride away. What a wonderful piece of paradise!!

This condo is every bit as beautiful as the pictures posted and more. Bernie and Bettina have thought of and provided everything a vacation could possibly want for or need, right down to all the beach gear. Everything is so organized and so much room for all your personal things to make your stay feel like home.
Although I have not met the owners, they made me feel so welcome and like family.
My dream is to come again and again and again. I need to look no further, I have found my vacation paradise!

"Wow! How long do we get to stay HERE?!" were the first words out of my husband's mouth. This condo is located centrally convenient to everything you might want (beach, restaurant, grocery store in walking distance). Even though the view is across the street from the beach, it is high up so you get the panorama of the ocean framed by palms. We ate all our condo meals on the lanai, even early morning before the sun was up - moon and stars were beautiful too.
The owners planned for many nice personal touches, like a welcome basket of goodies with a personalized card (Wine, coffee and chocolate - heaven!)
The custom wood and marble all throughout make it very luxurious. It was so convenient to have beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards to take to the beaches. The fridge and cupboards had many condiments/spices to use.
Special feature: The auto shade for the lanai ( did not see this feature on any other condos here) kept the condo cool during the day so we rarely needed the AC.
Extra view: This condo has the ocean view AND when you walk out the back to your car, you are greeted by a spectacular view of Haleakala.
Grounds are beautiful and well maintained, enjoyed easy use of BBQs, never a wait. Easy parking (with a view). Extremely quiet location, especially considering the busy main ocean street in front of the property, with walking access to restaurants, etc.

My wife and I stayed 9 nights in this beautiful condo and enjoyed every minute. No detail or convenience has been overlooked by the owners. The condo itself has been beautifully redecorated and even the great photos don't do it justice. The condo is in a great location - close to shops and the beach. We highly recommend a daily walk south along the beach and breakfast at "Sarento"s On The Beach" is a must. The complex is beautifully maintained and was exceptionally quiet at night. We have already requested our dates for next year as we know this is one of the best deals available in all of Maui! We stayed here for 10 nights. This condo is absolutely wonderful. All you need and more. Even a special cupboard to store your luggage. Bettina and Bernie have thought of everything. I hope that we can return to Maui and stay in this lovely condo again.

Mahalo Bernie and Bettina for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home! While we were on our first trip to the Islands and on our honeymoon, I fell terribly ill with food poisoning that lasted for most of our visit and into the next week back at home. Most of the time when not feeling well we just want to be in our own bed at home. I felt so comfortable in your home and was able to rest while using amenities such as the internet and cable tv. We were close to stores and dining for my husband to enjoy and took short drives to sight see. We will be back to visit as I owe my husband a proper honeymoon! We look forward to staying in your wonderful home again. Looking forward to seeing the reno's!
