The pictures posted did not match where we stayed. The bathroom was in complete disarray. The shower walls peeling, mold on ceiling and old vanity gave the overall feel of dirty, rundown condo. The carpet through out was old and smelly. The couch and table chairs you didnt want to sit on as they too were old and moldy smelling. Other family members stayed in Turtle Bay condos that were remodled and extremely nice. You couldn't pay me to stay here. Check in took 30 minutes as Bev the manager had to walk you through everything... the coffee maker, washer, how many garbage bags to use. I prefer pick up a key and here is your place, it matches the pictures. This is not the place.

We had an amazing time, it was very clean and very well equipped with everything we could possibly need on our North Shore stay. Beverly is such a nice person and always ready to help. Would definitely stay there again.

The location of this property is great---close to everything you want to get to on the North Shore. Check-in process was fairly easy but required texts/phone calls to alert the property manager so she could meet us. I would prefer an easier check-in process---Just give me a code to open the door or front gate on my own.
The physical condition of the unit is ok. It is an older unit and could benefit from some updating. Specifically, upgrade to a king bed, replace the tub/shower unit, and get better living room furniture. There is only a sofa which had no arms. There is plenty of room to add a comfy chair and a more comfy sofa. It could even be a sleeper sofa so the unit could accomodate more guests. Also the unit does not have central air conditioning. There is a window unit in the front bedroom and several ceiling/free-standing fans but if you are hot-natured, this is not the place for you! Designated parking spot is right outside the door .
The unit has access to the Turtly Bay Resort restaurants and stores but not the pools and maybe not the beaches. We didn't find an easy access point to the beaches but didn't put a lot of effort into it. We dined at Lei Lei's one night and really enjoyed it. It is a very short walk from the condo.
Overall, it was a good spot for our two-night stay.

Very clean, adequate basic older condo with dated furnishings. Firmer mattress but comfortable, cold a/c in br, futon lacks cushioning. Friendly manager on site, 5 min walking distance to resort and to Lei Leis restaurant. Quiet environment. Only slight musty odor upon opening door, not a problem for us. We enjoyed our stay!

The property was exactly what we were looking for, and better than expected. Location is ideal if you are wanting something that is relaxing, quiet, and close to the ocean. Miles of beaches are nearby, the local fruit stand across from the property has excellent fruit and groceries are nearby.

This property was the perfect vacation spot. Close to the beach (within walking distance) and swimming pool. We loved the location, especially that it was away from the business of the city. Close to beautiful beaches and hikes. Beverly was wonderful to work with and made check-in/out a breeze. We loved it!

I would not recommend this property for anyone who is sensitive to smells or mold. The pictures of the property on the site do not match what it currently looks like. After traveling more than 13 hours, and just getting married, my husband and I were looking forward to resting and putting our feet up. Only to be greeted by one of the hosts who asked us if we were Mormons (not sure what that has to do with our stay) and going on a rant about politics and the LGBTQ community. Once the host finally left, my husband and I looked around and felt so defeated and uncomfortable with staying at the condo. We were stuck there for one night as it was night time and we didn’t know where to go. I am also pregnant, and could not stay at a place with so much mold and the smell. We went to get ready for bed and the toilet was dirty, shower outdated, the towels did not smell fresh or clean. We spent our first night on our honeymoon looking for other places to stay. At 4 am I woke up, and booked another place. By 6 am we were out of the condo and on our way to the next place. We were also told not to put on the ac for the first couple nights because of a storm passing by, but it was hard to sleep being on the first floor you can hear people coming and going with the windows open. The condo is also falsely advertised showing pictures of the resort pool, and being connected to the turtle bay name, however you can NOT use any of the resort amenities. Host is not giving money back.

This host agreed to refund a nights stay that we DID NOT stay for, but will not submit the refund. Mark and I both were in communication within an appropriate amount of time that we were indeed within the refund period allowed. In fact, he’s not once said no to the refund and simply says he will send it right away (never does) We have contacted VRBO 3x and each time Mark has told us & VRBO he will send the refund but never does. If I was the property owner, I’d be searching for a more responsible and trustworthy “Host”. Also, Beverly over welcomed herself while checking us in.. After traveling 12+ hours we were grateful to be getting to our destination. However, it shouldn’t take 45 minutes to check someone in for that condo. My Husband full on took a shower expecting her to leave, but she kept rambling about things unrelated to checkin. She also wasn’t answering phone calls to buzz us into the property and knew we were on the way in. Do yourself a favor, pay the extra money and stay somewhere nicer!

Check-in was very easy. Beverly is amazing - even though she is two doors away she is very respectful of your privacy. She is also very responsive if you need anything. The place is very clean and has everything you need. Will definitely stay in this unit again!

Condo is stocked with everything you need. Great location, walking distance to nice beaches and north shore sights. Upgrades are needed in the condo (ex. Couch, bed, dryer and bedroom was musty/moldy smelling). We really liked the condo complex with the pool and upkept gardens. The property manager was friendly and helpful.

This property was perfectly located for our needs. Attended a wedding a Turtle Bay so it was within walking distance. Beverly was extremely kind and thorough at check in and check out. The condo was equipped with everything we needed. Appreciated all the beach supplies. We loved checking out the beaches on the North Shore. Wonderful vacation and can't wait to go back!!

This one bedroom was great and just what we needed as a north shore headquarters. We were worried it might get warm with just AC in the bedroom but the fans and breeze were more than enough. Didn't even have to run the AC during the day.

Small shared pool 3’-8’ deep, very clean & friendly.
You don’t get any amenities at the resort or on the west side condo complex’s.
Short walk to hidden beach for amazing sunsets.
Bogey boards, beach umbrellas available to use.
Somewhat dated appliances with open concept living area. Washer/dryer are helpful.
Would like to see a king size bed in the master.
Mark and Beverly are great and very easy/available if needed.

Condo was great. Its a short 7 minute walk to the beach at Turtle Bay. Overlooking the golf course but with lots of privacy. The pools would be nice for families with kids. The trade wind breezes meant we never had to turn the AC on.

The property was pleasant but not luxurious. Considering the very nice location (next to the golf course and within walking distance of the shoreline and beaches) and given the exorbidant costs associated with the adjacent hotel, this is a good value for this costly location. The accomodations are more than adequate, but not plush and this condo could be excellent with some refurbishing of the bathroom and a new mattress.

Perfect spot at Turtle bay. Short walk to the beach. All beach equipment was there. Beverly was very good at giving information about what to do throughout our trip. She made the check in process very easy and enjoyed meeting her. Over all great place to stay.

This property was nice for myself and my partner to stay for a few days while attending a wedding at Turtle Bay Resort. It is within walking distance of the resort, the beach, condominium pools and tennis courts. The host also has beach chairs and wake boards for use which were great for the beach. While this is by no means the nicest VRBO we’ve stayed in, it is well worth the cost and we would stay again if visiting the North Shore.

We didn’t spend that much time at the property but we really liked that outside of food it had everything we needed. Dislikes were a lot of repairs needed. Screen doors on both sliding doors didn’t work properly. Bathroom drywall needed sealed and painted on ceiling.

The condo was ok and the grounds very pretty but the description was not truthful in all aspects. Pics show a nice coach and easy chair, there was only a thin futon and no easy
chair. The big lie was "two minute walk to the beach". Two mins took me about 1/4 way to the beach! Pictures also showed the Turtle Bay pools which we were kicked out of! We were of the impression we had acess to the whole resort so we were very disapointed overall.

The place is a little outdated. The bathroom definitely needs to be renovated. It was a good amount of space and everything worked. We did find mold around the apartment, which my girlfriend was not too fond of, but given the humidity and heat in Hawaii we were not that surprised.
The host was really kind and considerate. She showed us the ins and out and was very accommodating.

I was looking for a property on the North shore, far away from HNL. Turtle Bay met that requirement perfectly. This unit was incredibly clean and met all my requirements. I recommend it for anyone who's wants to avoid the traffic and business of Oahu's South Shore.

Pros:
-The location was awesome. It was a short walk to turtle bay, with miles of coastline.
- Easy check in/out
-Good communication from the manager
-Cleaned well

-Very outdated- We knew this going in, so it wasn't a surprise. But there are a bunch of little things like a peeling shower, rusted toilet paper holder, etc.
-Handsoap was provided, but it was clearly watered down. The medical professional in me had an issue with that. It's like a dollar to refill it.
-The bed frame is very very noisy. Any time my wife or I rolled over we both woke up.
-The lake is not visible at all from the condo so if you wanted that view you'll be disappointed. Just a little misleading.
Overall, it was priced right for the stay so my wife and I were happy.

I loved this property! Perfect for two. Spacious and has many fans. AC unit in bedroom was lovely. Was able to wash laundry and cook dinner every night. Loved the tennis rackets and courts. The beaches near the hotel were completely empty due to the renovations being done. Such a lovely stay. Beverly was extremely kind checking me in and even let me leave a little after check out time. She was always available whenever I needed something. A great stay and I cannot wait to come back!
