This place is such a little gem. I love that you can park right outside your front door and walk right in. Made unpacking and packing the car up so easy. I also loved that it’s in the ground floor. My kids loved being able to open the sliding glass doors and run around the grass belt. The maui sunset complex is such a gem. It’s so beautiful. The complex is a 3 minute drive to really good restaurants, food trucks and stores. It’s right outside the super busy touristy area of Kihei wich I loved.
The unit itself was clean and very organized. My kids slept on the Murphy bed very happily. I loved having a washer and dryer in the unit. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Our stay in this one-bedroom condo was fantastic. The Murphy bed was extremely comfortable, and it was very easy to take down and put up. The patio was lovely for enjoying coffee and evening drinks, and the gardens are beautiful when the tiki torches were lit. We had a minor issue with the AC, but our host responded immediately and we were able to resolve the problem very quickly. Keep in mind that the AC is on a 4-hour timer so it will not run all night long, but that wasn't a concern for us. It was very convenient being on the first floor and parking was easy. The pool is sparkling clean and so is the hot tub. Be sure to visit the food trucks down the street. There is also a Safeway within a mile or two. Great location for exploring all of Maui. We definitely want to return one day.

My wife and I were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and were looking to spend it in Hawaii. We found this property and it looked like a place we could spend some time, and we weren't disappointed. The property was clean and comfortable and the location was fantastic. We had a ground floor that led out to a beautiful common area with everything you could possibly want or need. The beach was just a short walk. Jill was a wonderful host and kept us informed. When we arrived, we noticed that there was no toaster, so I texted Jill and within minutes, she had taken care of the problem. We would highly recommend this rental and if we return, hopefully we will, I will certainly want to stay again.

This condo was great for our family of 4. Our kids, age 10 and 12, slept on the Murphy bed and it was perfect for them! There were lots of beach supplies in the closet. There was 1 boogie board and we ended up renting another from Boss Frogs. We got there on a Wednesday and there was a concert on the lawn, that was neat! The location of this condo being ground level is very nice to just walk out and play put put golf or walk to the pool/ocean. Would definitely recommend this condo!

We have staying in this property twice now and both times have been thrilled with our experience. It goes without saying that it is clean and comfortable but the neighborhood atmosphere adds so much to the enjoyment. We will be making staying in this property (and Maui Sunset) a tradition!

Brought my son for high school graduation gift. It was just what we needed before he flys to coop and the condo was perfect for that. First floor was so nice and we had anything we would need. Walkig down to the beach to watch the sunset was one of my favorite things to do. Hot tub at the pool was nice also to relax my muscles after some crazy hikes. We will be back!

Went with a partner and the place had everything! Practical and fun. Plenty of dishes and kitchen materials, even random items we didn’t think to bring! Microfiber towels were difficult to dry off with but 1 day makes me understand why they are microfiber! Bring your own plush towels or get them here.
The owner was very responsive and helpful with planning and accommodating late arrivals. Would definitely rent again.

My wife and I got married in Maui and chose this condo to spend our honeymoon. There was plenty of room to spread out and relax and enjoy ourselves. The condo is well appointed even including beach chairs and a beach umbrella/toys. It was nice for each of us to have our own bathroom. The bed was firm and comfy. The kitchen has had a recent remodel. The building is right in the beach and has lovely grounds to explore. The condo was everything we were hoping for and more. We hope to be back. This Kihei condo was a perfect home base for our days in Maui. Jillian has thought of everything! The kitchen is as well equipped as my home kitchen, and there is a whole closet of beach paraphernalia including a cooler. The condo opens up to a beautifully maintained green space, pool and easy walk to the beach. Great location with easy access to restaurants and other beaches, but plan to spend some time to enjoy this lovely space! Thanks Jillian for your helpful instructions and great communication!

The house was very well equipped as far as beach equipment goes. Chairs, umbrella, etc. The kitchen had a decent amount of basics. No coffee provided which was a bummer. The walk out to the beach is very pleasant, however it’s a small beach front and it’s quite rocky in the water. Nice to look at, not so great to swim in. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything was perfect at this immaculate condo. Great amenities and we loved the location with a spacious courtyard, swimming pool and hot tub, Pickleball and Tennis a few minutes away on the property and the beach is right there to watch the beautiful sunsets. We had been to Maui before, however, had never stayed in Kihei. What a great little town and Maui Sunset condominiums is a great place to stay. We will definitely be back again soon. We spent many vacations at the Maui Sunset through the late 90's and 2000's, and this was our first visit back since starting our own family. The grounds, pool and beach were immaculate as always; and staying in Jill's suite was comfortable and welcoming after a long day of adventuring. We appreciated how very well-equipped the kitchen was - even to the point of olive oil and BBQ rubs in the pantry - and the abundance of toiletries and the supplied beach gear was just awesome.
This is no reflection on Jill or the suite, but the one suggestion I would leave is that the condo board should consider upgrading the grills. They're meticulously clean, but functionality was poor (taking half an hour to get to 350F and rarely climbing above 400F, not staying lit, etc.). This seemed to be known by longer term guests/residents, and might be something worth addressing in the new year.

The condo was perfect for us! Kitchen had everything we needed! Very comfortable bedroom and bathrooms were well appointed and very clean. Lots of conveniences and extra touches that made our stay better. We used the beach chairs to enjoy the ocean waves and evening sunsets. The insulated beach bag worked perfectly for packing lunches and beverages for daily outings. The pool area and overall grounds at the complex are beautiful and very well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay at Maui Sunsets and Jill was wonderful to work with. Would definitely stay here again someday!

First of all, I can't say enough about Jill the property manager. She has such great communication with me. Fast response and very friendly tone. Our experience was very smooth, the place is so nice and the backyard is breath taking the sunset can be seen from our property, just beautiful. I did leave my very expensive hair dryer and the very honest employees found it. I am soo happy!!! Jill agreed to ship it to me back in Oregon. Again, can't say enough about this experience, if I ever return to Maui this will be my stay for sure!!

This was our last stop in our 2 week vacation to Hawaii. It was perfect for our family of 4. It was the most spacious place we stayed during our trip which meant we could spread out and give each other the space we needed after traveling together for 2 weeks. We spent the mornings exploring the island and the afternoons relaxing at the condo. I especially enjoyed sitting on the lanai soaking in some sun and reading/journaling. My kids loved the fact that there were 2 bathrooms. We walked the short distance to the beach each night to catch the beautiful sunsets. I appreciated the fact that the condo was on the ground floor which gave easy access to the courtyard, but it was also an end unit which meant it was quieter. The condo itself was clean and well furnished. There was a little mix-up with the front office when we checked in, but I was able to talk to Jill right away (via phone) to get it straightened out (it was a front office error not Jill's fault) and "Security Joe" was very helpful in getting us into the condo. Communicating with Jill was easy and she always responded in a timely manner. My kids rated Maui as their favorite island and staying at this condo had a lot of do with that. I would highly recommend this place and hope to have a chance to stay here again soon.

First of all, this was an extension stay from a work trip that we were on at a resort on the West side of Maui - this was where we chose to extend our stay to experience more of Maui. Jill was thorough, communicative, called me the day of check in just to tell me about some fun attractions near us. The condo was perfect - had everything we could have possibly needed, was clean, and my boyfriend and I kept talking about how comfortable it was to be there! It really felt like a home away from home! Would highly recommend this for the ease of access to everything around, the beautiful grounds/pool, and the friendly office staff as well as Jill herself. This condo is wonderfully located in the town of Kihei where all the fun activities ( surfing, kayaking and snorkeling ) and great restaurants and yummy food trucks are taken place and located The unit itself is well equipped with cooking supplies ( even zip lock bags ) The washer and dryer was an amazing bonus for our family of 4 who loves to hike and snorkeling. The owner was very prompt to return my text messages as well. Will definitely recommend to others !

We could not have enjoyed ourselves more here at The Maui Sunset condo. Jill, the owner, was so nice to chat with and very accommodating. This place had EVERYTHING we needed and we spent lots of time relaxing on the Lanai and enjoying the outdoor area. It was a short walk/drive to the Kihei area but also easy to get down to Wailea and up to Makawao. We would definitely stay here again…Aloha!

Jill’s condo was a perfect spot for me and my 2 friends while visiting Maui. Check in process was super easy with a lady at the front desk of the complex. Jill’s apartment was very clean and roomy. She had more than enough supplies for us during our stay. Jill is super fast at responding to messages. We noticed there wasn’t an iron in the apartment. I went and got one from the store and Jill reimbursed me. The complex itself was very nice. You are just a short walk to the pool and beach. We never had an issue with noisy neighbors. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Check-in office closed at 5 pm and I arrived just afterwards. The Security Head / After-hours check-in attendant (Joe) was swamped with guests. He was SO attentive, patient and helpful with everyone. I sat back and watched him do his thing. Been in the service industry in Hawaii for many years and this guy was A+, showing aloha through the whole process. THANKS JOE!!

Hands down the best decision I made for my niece and I. Our friends were so jealous of our place. It is spacious, very comfortable and the living room opens to the perfectly manicured yard that leads to the pool which is facing the water/beach. The air conditioning units were MORE than enough to get cool after a long day. Tv has Netflix and YouTube for apps! Having 2 bathrooms was sooo perfect for us not having to share. There are beach chairs, boogie boards, and noodles for swimming at the pool or beach. I’m obsessed with the microfiber beach towels-and I am ordering the moment I get home to Florida. Jillian was sooo awesome to work with, and I will definately be back here to stay with her. B103 is perfectly located on a Kihei road-in between everything. Thank you Jillian!🌺

The location of this rental was outstanding! Beaches and shops moments away. The unit had everything we needed for cooking as well as for a day at the beach. The propety is right on the beach and had the BEST sunsets ever. Also, every morning, I enjoyed my coffee while watching the tutles swim by - cannot beat that! The place was clean, in a great location and had everything we needed. The property manager Jillian was very helpful, easy to get ahold of and let us check in early which we really appreciated. The major drawback was the owners gave a key to their friend and he tried to gain access to the unit once without knocking and the second time while we were out we came back to him sitting at the dining room reading during our stay. He was waiting to allow someone in to fix the internet or cable however they were scheduled to come after we checked out. This made me very uncomfortable especially since we had our toddler with us. My suggestion would be that they take his key away in order to make guests feel more comfortable.

The refrigerator freezer makes a noise and does not stop.
The bedroom needs nightstands and extension cords for cell phones charging.
The living room couch should be a sectional so you can see the tv without straining your neck.
The kitchen needs stools to sit at the counter.
There needs to be a bench at the front to sit and take off your shoes.
Kitchen well stocked except the ice maker does not work.
Overall clean unit. But NEEDS updating.

My wife and I always enjoy staying in Kihei, as it very easy to get to all of the activities and beaches both north and south on the island. This is the perfect place for that. Great condo, with very good AC and amenities. The only very slight drawback is the pillows are a flat, but that’s a very small thing and everything else was perfect. Maui sunset is amazing, has an awesome pool, tons of great grass, a putting green, and easy beach access. Host was very communicative and tried to make our stay as good as possible. We’ve been to Maui a lot, and this was probably our favorite rental we’ve ever had. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

Every night we walked right onto the beach to enjoy the sunsets. The grounds had tiki torches at night which made it the perfect porch side ambiance. About a 20 min drive to hikes and snorkeling. The owners were quick to respond to any of our questions and offered covid insurance in case we needed to cancel last minute.

This ground floor unit is lovely. Tastefully update and CLEAN unit. Comfortable king size bed in master and the Murphy bed has the same comfortable mattress! New appliances with filtered water in fridge. Jill was an absolute pleasure to deal with and check in was seamless. Unit is also nicely stocked with boogie boards, beach chairs and beach umbrellas which come in handy. We have stayed at various units at the Maui Sunset over the past 20 years. This one bedroom unit is definitely one of the nicest! The back location is perfect because it provides more privacy with less people walking by unit. Grounds are meticulously maintained. We can’t wait to visit again and stay in this unit. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Our family really enjoyed our stay in this condo. It was clean, quiet, and well furnished. Seems to be recently updated and well maintained. The condo property is also very well maintained and has beautiful landscaping, pool is nice, and short walk to a beach with beautiful views. It's a convenient location in Kihei for accessing the harbor, the south side areas such as Wilea, great swimming beaches, as well as many restaurants, shops, coffee, etc. within a short drive. The condo has a closet with beach chairs and umbrella as well as beach toys (boogie boards, balls, sand toys, etc). We'd definitely stay here again.

The condo was absolutely perfect for our stay. Spacious, updated and on the ground floor which was nice because there is an area for the kids to play safely right outside. The Murphy bed and king bed were both comfortable although we only used the king bed. The AC was very powerful and not once did we feel it wasn’t adequate. You do have to turn it back on once the timer stops, but we didn’t find that to be an issue. It had everything we needed and more! Thanks for the great stay.

We were married at Gannon's in Wailea and choose this Condo as this was only 15 minutes away and we loved it and had a great time! Great location, beautiful grounds, on the beach and got the beach chairs and watched the Sunset each night which was beautiful!!! Beautiful condo on the ground floor of the property. Newly remodeled kitchen was lovely. Very much enjoyed the family atmosphere of the complex complete with the nightly ritual of watching the sunset with other guests, locals, dogs and turtles playing in the surf. Grounds are very nice and well-kept. We plan to return. The pictures do not do it justice!
