Melissa was an amazing host. She provided a baby gate, playpen and booster seat for our grandchild. She also allowed us to check out late because we had the baby. The condition of the unit was terrific and the location within the resort was spectacular. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Beds were comfortable, lots of toys and beach gear stocked in the garage. Had an issue with the lock and garbage disposal and maintenance came very quickly to deal with it. Host was very accommodating and gracious around early check in and late check out. Highly recommend!

We loved our time at this VRBO. The property was clean, spacious and located closely to everything you would want! Well stocked with things for the beach and everything you might need away from home.
The only tiny thing was that we needed was storage space in the rooms for our things.

Enjoyed two weeks with my husband in this wonderful home in a beautiful location. Our son and his family joined us the first week, and then our daughter’s family joined us the second. It had everything we needed for the beach, snorkeling, and for families with littles. It’s close to shops, food, grocery stores, and the best family beach, Hapuna.

Melissa's condo was perfect for our family of 5. Stocked kitchen made it easy to cook all our own meals. Entire place was very clean. Garage has many things a family needs for a trip to the island...bikes, beach chairs & umbrella, snorkel gear, coolers. Would recommend to anyone. Melissa's response time was quick any time we had a question.

This was my family’s first time to The Big Island and Melissa’s condo was absolutely PERFECT! Check-in and out was easy and the condo itself was super clean and beautiful. It was equipped with all the necessities that you would need while on vacation. We stayed for 2 weeks and had plenty of supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, pods for dishwasher, ect…even beach towels). The kitchen and garage are also well equipped, it was so great to be able to use the hosts beach gear and bikes! And everything was very organized. Pool, hiking trails, beaches, and shopping were all nearby. Truly a great place to stay with your family where everyone can relax and unwind and have their own space. And, Melissa was such a great host and always responded quickly to any questions I had. Thank you Melissa for the best vacation rental ever!

Everything was exactly the way it was listed online. The location was perfect. We were 5 minutes from the Marriott where the conference was located and 5 minutes from the shops, beach, and restaurants. I’ll definitely be returning here next year!

This house is beautiful. We are a large family and its very convient to have a house with so many beach needs already in it. The ice maker is a little slow so I suggest buying a big ice. The owner was awsome in texting detailed instructions of check in. The kitchen has everything you need as well. I hate my feet getting dirty and wish there was an area to brush of sand. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. We spent 8 nights here. It was incredibly well equipped. We appreciated that paper towel, toilet paper, dish soap etc was all supplied. We also loved all the beach items in the garage, we had everything we needed! We were a group of 5 and had more than enough room for all of us. It was clean and comfortable.

This was our family's first time staying here and the property was incredible! Fully stocked with pretty much anything you could think of, and the garage was full of beach toys, bikes, tennis gear and golf clubs! The unit itself was nicely decorated and felt very spacious. Bedrooms were a great size, beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were easily accessible during the night. Having the half bath on the lower level was a huge convenience too. TVs and WiFi worked great, but honestly, we didn't spend much time inside with all the amazing outdoor space. Pool and tennis courts are located less than a minute away (walking) and the whole Waikoloa area is magnificent and can easily be traveled by the bikes. Lots of walking paths if you're feeling adventurous; we loved walking to the Hilton to see the dolphins and sea turtles (15 min walk) and hiked on the petroglyph trail over by King's Market and really enjoyed it. We would recommend this property to anyone! Hope to come back soon.

Melissa's property was absolutely perfect for our family of 6, which included two grandparents, two parents and two kiddos, ages 6 and 8. The property was clean and the amenities provided were just right. The proximity to the pool, the courts and the beach were unbeatable- the kids rotated between beach, pool and walks almost daily and we could not have asked for a better family vacation. Finally, Melissa was expedient in her responses as we were planning for the trip and on the rare occasion that we needed some info while we were in Waikaloa, she responded in less than 5 minutes- perfect host, perfect property, perfect time! Enjoyed this nice and clean property for our family reunion. Lot of supplies from pantry foods to beach equipments. Big washer and dryer are good for a larger group of people. Owner provided detailed info about the property and made the check in be so easy. Will recommend the people who will visit big island.

We loved our week long stay in the Colony Villas, conveniently located a half hour north of the Kona airport. It is situated near plenty of beautiful beaches that offer good snorkeling, white sandy beaches or a gorgeous drive up the coast to ranch lands with epic coastline views. The condo itself was spacious and more than enough room for 3, we could easily have doubled that number comfortably. All the modern conveniences and a garage full of gear for any activity. We would happily rent again from Melissa. It was a fantastic getaway made better by staying at this beautiful property.

The property was superbly located for our needs for a holiday access to the Ironman race route and easy access to Kona for the race day. We love the beaches close by on the Waikoloa report complex and Hapuna beach. The property offered excellent kitchen facilities and a lovely pool and BBQ area for relaxing. A maintenance issue was dealt with promptly by Melissa the owner and her team managing the issue locally. Would highly recommend for family holidays and similar trips.

The house was just right for four adults and two kids. Slight disappointment that the big/close pool was closed for repairs while we were there, but the kids didn’t notice or care. Everything you could possibly need for beach days in the garage. Melissa was very responsive and helpful. The location was nicely central to everything on the west side of the island, but you do need a car to get anywhere.

The unit had everything you could think of, it was clean and very comfortable. You are close to everything in Waikoloa and not that far of a drive to Kailua-Kona. Melissa is so awesome, she gets back to you very quickly when needed. My GPS was sending me in circles and I texted her and she immediately called me and gave me the directions that my GPS didn't and she stayed on the phone until I was inside the unit. If you are planning a trip to the Big Island and looking in Waikoloa this is a must place for you, I know the next time we go to the Big Island we will be staying here. Our group of 6 (family of 4 and grandparents) loved our time in this Hawaiian get away. We have stayed many times in the area and in this complex, but this is our first time in Melissa's home. Melissa is a responsive and caring host who clearly wants your vacation to be perfect - if I could give her and her property more than 5 stars I would!
The condo itself is great, the location is our favourite so far on the property - close enough to the pool but no so close to be noisy, close to the gate, but again not noisy. The condo is well equipped with A+ equipment for the beach (I love the rolling cooler - it looks huge, but works so well!). There are plenty of boogie boards and loads of snorkelling equipment, many beach chairs and umbrellas to keep you cool.
Other house amenities are great - we are not much for TV or inside activities while in Hawaii, but if you want those things there are games, puzzles and TV's in every room (I think only 1 tv got turned on during or stay!). Any questions we had were answered ultra quickly and everything about our stay in Melissa's home was wonderful. We look forward to and are already planning our return !

We made great use of the large, nicely stocked kitchen and all the beach chairs/umbrellas/etc stored in the garage. My husband used the golf clubs to golf the Beach Nine -- gorgeous views! Great property right in Waikoloa Village area. Really enjoyed our two days I wish we had more time there. Owners have nice amenities and no complaints. Even had coffee and creamers and a k-cuup machine which made coffee making easy. Plenty of beach toys, yoga mats, and other items to enjoy. Thanks for a brief but nice stay!

This hale was the perfect way to start our big island trip! We were pampered with the amenities available and supplies provided. The entire house was clean and comfortable. The one thing that could be adjusted was the “queen” bed is actually just a full, but everything else was as expected or better! There were zero bugs to deal with, and I’m sure we will miss that as we head to Puna!

Golfing close by with property discounts. Melissa was very helpful with everything we needed. Parking was difficult during Thanksgiving and she made arrangements to make sure we had a parking spot! This was my second stay at this awesome , spacious townhome in Waikoloa! My adult children and young grandchildren had a wonderful introduction to the spirit of aloha! From wonderful coffee and breakfast on the lanai before taking a snorkel at my favorite beach just 10 minutes away, to ending the day with the grand babies In th pool after enjoying all the wonders of the Big Island, this was the best place to start and end every day. Melissa was a wonderful attentive host! Responsive and attentive to all of our questions and needs! If you are an adventurous active family, or one who just wants to chill where you land, this is where you want to be! My favorite is the location, my hubby’s favorite is the awesome A/C!
