Our family of 5 loved our stay at Kaha Lani #216. We’ve stayed at other units here before, and 216 is very well appointed in comparison. We had everything we could have ever needed in the kitchen (coffee makers and coffee grinder, blender, toaster, rice cooker, all the pots, pans, dishes, cooking utensils you could want), and great beds, towels, fans, and beach gear. The condo is centrally located to anything you could want to do, including beachfront access to watch every morning’s stunning sunrise with sand between your toes. We walked to Lydgate park to snorkel most mornings, and spent every afternoon/evening at the property’s pool. The Kaha Lani is a beautiful property, and unit 216 was a beautiful place to call home for a couple of weeks.

The accommodations were dated and need an update. Labels all over the place giving instructions made us feel uncomfortable. One said the couch was weak so don’t lean on the arm. How about replacing the couch instead. Dishwasher doesn’t dry so we had to do that manually. We had to strip beds before we left. What was the cleaning fee for? The letter about the break ins was a very concerning way to start our stay, especially with the unsecured way we picked up the keys. Not very well stocked kitchen. VRBO in Maui had sugar, spices and even coffee. Not a very welcoming experience!

I really enjoyed the location of this property. It made travel to any stores really quick, as well as central to the North and South shore for day trips. Our favorite part was the Lydgate Beach Park which has playgrounds as well as two ocean swimming pools that were great for our kids!

Pictures looked better than the reality. However, I understand due to beach front location and moisture things can smell like old stinky wood and dirty sand. Location was close to lydegate beach which was cool. I don’t want to bash as we did enjoy the location and place was okay. However the upstairs room was unbearably hot. Even swamp coolers would’ve made a huge difference. The place is in need of renovation. Screen door was torn, cabinets smell like old rotting wood, owner doesn’t let you use their washer and dryer and insteads makes you use laundry mat. For the price it was underwhelming and we would choose other options going forward. Owner could improve if she opened up the washer and dryer, put some money into some renovations, and bought some portable AC units for corner of rooms.

Overall this unit had everything we needed. It was nice to have a separate floor for my kids and to have 2 bathrooms. We utilized the kitchen for cooking meals. Also it was a plus to have beach chairs and an umbrella to use. The property was in a good central location for visiting different areas of the island. It was also mostly quiet (except for roosters). The living room furniture felt a little worn and unclean. It was hard for me to not have a/c while sleeping at night.

We just returned from the loveliest stay. The unit was clean and included everything we needed, including water shoes that we used on our kayak/hike to secret falls. The central location and
proximity to Lydgate park can’t be beat. Thank you so much. We could not be happier.

Our family absolutely loved our stay at your condo at the Kaha Lani! It was central to all the things we planned to do as well as places to eat, shop, and just relax! The condo was spacious for us, our two kids (4 and 8), and my parents. It was relaxing , comfortable, and quiet- the sound of the waves 24/7 and the nice breeze coming off the coast was lovely. The beach chairs and the sand toys you shared were a hit. We brought our own snorkel sets, backpack cooler, and a beach tent, but if we didn’t, you all had the fun stuff in the patio closet and more! The resort grounds were also beautiful and well kept! Loved all the pops of colorful flowers amidst the green plants and trees. The gorgeous view of the waves rolling in from the condo and access to the pool and a grill was also a plus! Thank you for providing such a great place for our family to call “home”. We will definitely be back! Thank you again, Marcy and John!

This property was the perfect central location to explore the entire island of Kauai! It’s very private and quiet, off the beaten path yet a close drive to stores, restaurants, etc. it’s a very easy drive to/from the airport!
Loved that it included the beach essentials (chairs, snorkels, boogie boards) which we used daily!
The property is beautiful and although the beach waves were a little rough to swim in for our boys, it’s a beautiful beach to walk or sit out at… not populated at all which is awesome! It’s beautiful!
Overall we enjoyed our stay at this property and would definitely book it again next time we visit Maui.

The property turned out to be a perfect location for our group of four adults. We traveled each day to a different part of the island and the condo proved to be central to all. The property manager was attentive and helpful! The amenities available were more than expected: boogie boards, beach chairs, coolers, fins, snorkeling gear and other island necessities. There was also an added benefit of being located next to a great park and beach within walking distance from the condo. Would definitely recommend!

This was a great unit for 2 couples. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. Well stocked kitchen and nearby grocery stores so we could cook some of our meals. I like the location as it is centrally located about halfway between Waimea and Hanalei. We would definitely stay there again.

The property is centrally located and is as advertised. We enjoyed walking on the beach, which is only a few steps away. Some mornings we used the path and walked past Lydgate park-it was never crowded. It was easy to get to activities in Hanalei, Waimea, Poipu, or wherever we decided to go. The Tuesday/ Thursday farmers' market at Coconut Grove was close by for fresh fruits and vegetables. The kitchen was well-equipped and even had grill tools, which came in handy. The complex is not new, but the grounds are well-maintained.

It’s actually hard to explain in a small paragraph how perfect their place is, really. Sparkling clean, amazing location, more snorkels, chairs and boogie boards one could ask for!! The pool is so nice after snorkeling and surfing all day…a little touch of freshness. We grilled there thinking, omg it’s Labor day, won’t have a spot but it was totally empty. Condo was more than my wife and I could ask for and I’d HIGHlY recommend anyone to stay here: My only issues was being super hot at night. I tried everything but was still always above the blankets. Wife slept great so maybe it’s just me :)

I am a single mom traveling with my three teenage sons. We enjoyed having the amenities such as the boogie boards to use at the beach. The living area in the condo was spacious and we didn’t feel cramped in the space at all. The decor is perfect and little interesting touches that made the condo special. We enjoyed having a games to play as a family as well as the lending library! The view from the lanai and the top floor bedroom were amazing! We absolutely loved this place and would stay here again!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was great for our family as it was within a short walk of the beach, including a protected area for kids, as well as two large playgrounds at Lydgate Park. It is also relatively equidistant from the North (Halalei Bay Area) and the Southwestern (Waimea canyon) areas while being close to a lot of recreation and restaurants in the Lihue/Wailua/Kapa'a areas. The property is well equipped and the owners and property management team communicated well. While is does get somewhat hot in the unit during the day (as like most properties in Kauai doesn't have A/C), things do cool down well at night with the windows open and the fans blowing. We weren't in the unit during daytimes, so this was not really and issue. Overall, this was a great property and we'd stay here again.

We had an enjoyable stay in Kauai, a return trip after 20+ years. The condo is comfortable, clean, and conveniently located. Lydgate beach, walking distance from condo, is a bonus. Great swimming and snorkeling beach. The condo has all beach equipment (chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling equipment). This condo helped to make this vacation enjoyable.

We were two couples traveling and this place was a cozy comfortable one to come back to after adventures! The balcony affords a view of the beach, the home was well stocked, big TV in living room great for sports, loved the two floors and full bathrooms on each floor. Fans helpful. Lots of beach equipment and nice pool on site with lovely grounds. Complex is not walking distance to any restaurants or shops. Beach is wild and wonderful with incredible sunrises, with family friendly swimming in calm area just 5 min up the beach. Beach super lovely for walking long distances! Everything labeled well.

We had a fabulous week at Kaha Lani 216. It's in a fantastic location, making getting around the island easy and is walkable to the Coconut Marketplace in Kapaa. It's quite well equipped and had everything we needed (although the washer/dryer are not in the unit but are coin operated ones in the main office). We really appreciated having access to beach chairs! There were a number of spider webs in the condo and it's quite dark, but otherwise is a lovely space to spend time.
Our only hiccup was the booking of a plumber to arrive at 8am on the day of our departure which created some chaos as he blocked access to the stairs, but we found that Marcy was very responsive and understanding of the challenge this caused.
Overall, great vacation and we'll be back!

My family and I really enjoyed your condo. It is centrally located on the island which made it easy to cover the entire island site seeing. The check in/ check out was easy to just pick up the keys and drop them off. The beds are super comfortable and everthing was super clean!!!! Thank you for allowing us to use the beach toys too. We (mostly me) were really happy to go snorkeling and have the beach chairs to use. The only thing we all wished your place had is a way to slow down time 😁 Thank you very much for letting us stay at your place.

Great condo. Has 4 Beach chairs and an umbrella & cooler that we used a lot. It would be nice to have 4 chairs on the laini but we managed. Not a lot of room for clothes in the main floor bedroom and lighting in upstairs bathroom was dim. Those are pretty little complaints! We loved the condo and it had all we needed as far as kitchen gadgets.and beach day needs. Beds were very comfortable! Plenty of space for 2 couples. We really enjoyed our 12 day stay in this great condo! It felt like home from the moment we arrived. The view is partial ocean from the balcony & upstairs bedroom. The complex is small & quiet. Our 27 year old daughter enjoyed her time at the pool while her dad & I were out enjoying the Napali Coast. I would stay here again. Loved it!

This property was a perfect fit for our family of 5 for our first trip to Kauai. It was perfectly located within striking distance to all the sites, activities and restaurants we wanted to see. There was plenty of space, lots of amenities, close to the beach, and beautiful grounds. The check in and check out processes were smooth, the communication was perfect, and the entire stay was completely painless allowing us to completely take in the beauty of the island. We would not hesitate to stay at this property for all future travel to Kauai!

We had such a great time at this property! The location is out of the towns, which for us was a nice plus. There was ample room inside the condo for our family of four to move around freely with a large open deck out the back with great views. We were worried about lack of air conditioning, but just as stated, the trade winds did their thing every night, leaving us actually kinda on the colder side some nights. The location was conveniently situated exactly equidistant from each side of the island as well. There is a huge, wonderful park next to the property that has protected ocean lagoons for kids to play in safely or learn to snorkel, as well as the largest playground equipment we have ever seen! Overall, we were very pleased with the property and when we reached out to the owner, we were given a reply almost instantly. Would definitely recommend to others!

This was a wonderful property for our family. Our flight arrived late in the evening yet the entire check-in was very easy. The property was located near the beach which was very nice. It was in good condition especially for the age of the units there.
If you are a light sleeper, not having AC, you do have to leave windows open to cool for evening.

The grounds were beautiful and well taken care of. Loved the beach and pool access. The beds were comfortable and the view off of deck was great! The kitchen was well stocked to cook a good meal. The only thing I would suggest is nee furniture in living area. The couch was uncomfortable and the furniture seemed old and worn. There was black stuff falling out each time we unfolded the pull out bed to sleep on. But overall it was a great place!! Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely condo. It was a great experience.

Very hot this Sept esp without a/c. Thank goodness for the strong breeze. The breeze also blew the surf around and it was very rough. Tried to body board but a bit tough. Wailua is nice and central to many attractions and restaurants and quiet as well. You have a short drive wherever you want to go though except Lydgate Park Beach where you can swim safely but no good surf. Lovely gardens at resort and views of ocean are good. Apartment is good size, beds are comfy and having beach equipment/toys is a real plus especially esky/ice chest for day trips. Filter coffee only is provided - no sugar or tea - thought those should be provided. Overall, great week.

Very comfortable, quiet unit with all the toys and guidebooks needed to explore the island or the pool (or the beach out front). The property and unit are well maintained, with easy access to the (wide open) beach and Lydgate Park. It's close to the airport, or you can be on your way to the North Shore or South Shore in minutes. Thank you for thoughtfully providing all the beach toys - we made great use of the boogie boards / snorkel equipment / beach chairs / umbrellas / coolers - you thought of everything! We enjoyed morning coffee on the lanai, listening to the birds (and roosters). Thanks again for a relaxing getaway for our family.

This was my second stay. It was seamless. You pickup your keys at the car rental. The resort was quiet, positioned with great access to both the north and south beaches. Lyngate Park cannot be beat and you can walk there. The association will not allow airconditioning which is a bummer.
