Pictures just don't do this property justice! We walked in the gate of the courtyard & all we could hear from our girls was OMG this is beautiful and they were right. All of the vegetation was so pretty. We loved being greeted by the fish every day. Bike riding around Princeville with the bikes provided was so fun. We would stay here again for sure. Property manager was so kind & met us in Lihue when we realized we left some items at the house.

AC was not working on the bedroom that is by the jacuzzi but my daughters didn't mention it till the last night we were there. So that i can let fly. didnt get a chance to test their responsiveness. kitchen is very well stocked with whatever you need and garage is stocked very well whith beach equipment. i absolutely recommend this home to anyone.

Just what we wanted, a place that was peaceful and relaxing with great views. Since it’s connected to a golf course, without fences, it seemed like an endless backyard, perfect for playing smashball and cornhole. Can not say enough good things about the property managers, the house and the location, all were above expectations.

This is our second time staying at this majestic Princeville home. We highly recommend staying here. Great central location, all the amenities you would need bikes, coolers, grill, chairs, laundry, towels, beach gear, etc. The bikes are a big plus allowing you to bike over to local shops and restaurants. The deck and lanai are absolutely the best places to relax. The living room and dining room are stunning and a great place to enjoy a meal. We will definitely be back, as this is the perfect home to enjoy Kauai.

Loved everything about this house. Note though that the upstairs bedroom must enter and exit through 2nd main-floor bathroom and bedroom. Probably okay for a family, but not so great for friends.

We experienced 5 straight days of pretty heavy rainfall - we were all so thankful to be staying at the Oasis house which made our stay enjoyable no matter what the weather was doing! We loved the friendly koi fish, the puzzles, the amazing kitchen, the hot tub in the beautiful waterfall courtyard, the bbq, the comfortable furnishings, the Bluetooth speaker, the bar area and big screen tv. The views from the house are amazing - everything was just as described! The house was conveniently located to the shopping area & beaches. The well stocked garage is SO organized (we were inspired!) and has truly everything one could want! Thank you for sharing your island home with us. It is a real treasure!!

We loved staying the last 10 nights of January in this hawaiian tropical island themed house. The house has nice furnishings and beautiful art work throughout and nice landscaping on all sides of the house. We enjoyed the view of the golf course and the mountains, and enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. The house was in a great location in Princeville and had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation to Kauai!

Even though we'd looked through and were excited by all of the pictures of this property a million times before our trip to Kauai, they just don't do this beautiful home justice. Everyone in our family -- adults and kids alike -- was immediately wowed when we walked through the front door and into the amazing garden and pond area. We loved how, even if it was raining, we could still be outside to use the hot tub or read on the loungers peacefully. This was the perfect home to transition from our busy normal lives and into vacation mode and adjust to "island time."
The house itself is roomy and modern and had everything we needed. In addition to the koi pond area, we especially enjoyed being so close to the walking path alongside the golf course.
We've stayed in countless homes around the world and this was our all-time favorite. We will be back for sure!

Our family of 6 loved our time at the Oasis. Beautiful home, beautiful surroundings, beautiful courtyard. We loved watching the sunset from the back porch over the golf course.
The home is close to so many must-see and must-do's including Hanalei Bay, Snorkeling at Anini, Tunnels, and Ke'e beaches, the Kalalau trail and falls on the Napali Coast, Queens Bath, kayaking the Hanalei and Wailua rivers, and boogie boarding the big waves at Kealia Beach. The house is only 45 mins from the airport at Lihue. We also didn't mind taking a longer drive to Waimea Canyon, Spouting Horn, the Tubing adventure, the Koloa Zipline, and the South side beaches.
We found lots of fun places to eat, but also cooked a few times at the house. The owners and management have gone well out of the way to stock the home with everything you'd expect from a five star rental. Even provided a loaner machine for a washer that had broken before we arrived. So many toys to enjoy too!
As at any tropical island paradise you may see a critter or two, but we were very pleasantly surprised how few mosquitoes and noseeums there are compared to the Caribbean or Florida--practically non-existent!
We hope we were considered good tenants in the event we can come back sometime. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us!

This house was incredible and all the little attention to detail was wonderful. Having beach chairs, umbrellas, huge beach towels, beach blanket, and soft and hard coolers were all so nice to have available! We used them every time we ventured out to the beach. The pictures don't do the space justice...it's so open and provided ample area for everyone to have their own space to relax when we were "at home". We had 4 adults and 3 children ranging from 11-13 yrs old. The kids LOVED the Koi fish pond. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was incredibly welcome at night, and the open-air house...being able to have most sides of the house open for fresh air breeze was wonderful. Tip to anyone staying.... if you open the front door of the atrium, you'll get more of a breeze when you sit by the pond! We thought we'd never use the hot tub since it's so hot out, but it ended up being a wonderful place to relax in the evenings. And being in Princeville, the occasional rain showers were so welcome. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about this stay, and when we come back to Kauai, we plan to stay here again!

Our three generation group had a wonderful stay at Kauai Oasis. The home was very well equipped, with many lovely spots to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. It’s proximity to Hideaways, Queens Bath, Anini and Hanalei led to many great day outings. We’d love to stay again!

This place truly is an oasis. Beautiful house with a great layout. Our family loved this place. A lot of thought and care has been devoted to this house. It is a great place to get away and relax. It is a little far from the airport and activities on the south side of the island, but the drive is easy and beautiful. My wife is already trying to book it for next year.

Spacious house with nice setup on the lanai overlooking the golf course. Our boys enjoyed the entertainment of the koi. Would be a tricky house for littles with the pond and sunken living room. Great location for accessing all the north shore has to offer, including the marvelous Na Pali trail. The cooler came in handy! We took the bikes to get lunch at the golf course turn bar. Recommend the walk down to Wyllie’s Beach.

Well maintained home, fully furnished, and centrally located. Center courtyard with colorful koi was a great place to have morning coffee. Garage fully equipped with everything you needed for the beach. Also, the home had bikes which we rode each morning around Princeville.
It was clear that a fun and active family enjoyed spending time at this wonderful home. Games, books, beach gear,e xercise equip were all available. The owner (Doug) was a gracious host and highly responsive.
We have just booked another week for next year!

Great location and beautiful property.
We really enjoyed the courtyard.
Only two out of three burners were working on the grill, but worked fine for our use.
Nice having the use of snorkels and masks.
The layout is a little strange, we didn’t expect or care for the upstairs bedroom required entry through the second bedroom.
We were all family or it would have been pretty weird. I probably wouldn’t use this property again, if I needed the third bedroom.

This home is absolutely perfect. It is located in a wonderful neighborhood, convenient to many beaches on the North Shore. The homeowners provided so many amenities: boogie boards, bikes, games, and more. The beds were very comfortable. The courtyard area with koi pond and hot tub was a perfect place to sit and enjoy the cool morning air.

We stayed in early June and the oasis is exactly how it looks online. Clean, organized, with lots of toys. One morning we used the provided rack to strap one of the paddle boards to our rental. Had a great time paddle boarding and snorkeling at Annini beach just a 15 minute drive. After hikes on the sleeping giant and in Waimea Canyon the outdoor hot tub and indoor soaking tub are great.
My son basically had a master bedroom to himself and my daughter loved the bedroom in the crows nest. We were even surprised she had her own half bath. The Koi are great. The courtyard is amazing. And the back deck has a terrific breeze. Even with the construction Hanalei is still really easy to get to. On top of that we rode the provided bikes to breakfast at “The Spot” and dinner at Hideaways Pizza. Locks included. They literally have thought of everything. Can’t wait to come back!!

Awesome Lanai with good group seating. We played hard at the beach every day and the good supply of beach chairs, toys, snorkle gear , coolers, umbrellas, etc was best we have had at a rental. Bonus was the fridge/freezer in the garage. Very helpful since we usually stock up from Costco for the week. All beds and furniture were good quality and comfortable. Golf course is really more like a big back yard, hardley noticed the golfers.

We absolutely love this house. We have stayed here before and plan on staying here as often as we can. We were hoping to bring our kids back here in February but it’s all booked so hopefully some other time sooner than later. Doug has everything you need or want to enjoy your vacation. There is nothing this house doesn’t have.. We have been to Kauai often and have never found another rental we like more. Once you stay here, you won’t want to stay anywhere else.

This was the easiest process to rent, check in, and check out. Everything we needed was provided and the layout gave everyone plenty of space to be together without being on top of each other. For our special trip, it was the perfect backdrop and oasis.

I don't normally write reviews, but this time . . . it's different!
Doug's place is AWESOME! The only problem I have with Doug is, there are actually MORE amenities than he has described in the listing.
We knew he had bikes, coolers, beach chairs, towels etc. But we took snorkel gear and didn't need it. Doug's place had it already. Not the cheap stuff either. Good quality snorkels. (BTW, snorkel gear IS in the listing . . . but I must've missed that) - We took bluetooth speakers in our luggage to sync up to our ipods and laptops . . . we didn't need to! Doug's place had these amazing Samsung bluetooth speakers (all laid out with instructions on how to sync them)! - There were two extra cots (and bedding) so my children didn't have to fight about sleeping in the same bed together. We didn't expect that.
The koi were fun to feed every day! (We made sure we fed "the Professor" first since he was less agressive. If you're not careful, "Ginger" will eat everything you throw into the pond.)
The "zen" rock / water garden is amazing and peaceful.
Doug's communication, labels, and instructions are idiot proof!
I have told everyone I know . . . if they are going to Kaua'i . . . see if the North Shore Oasis is available.

Let me start with this...I was a general manager at a hotel property as well as a general manager in the restaurant industry....I am all about taking care of the guest and making sure thy have a fabulous experience each and every time...I am a perfectionist cross every t and dot every I.....never in our wildest dreams did we expect to have the treatment that I normally give my guests.....my husband always says the reason I critique things the way I do is because he says no one does it like I do....I give what I expect, 150% every time...well...here's the one exception to my husbands rule....Doug the owner and his five star plus property....from the minute I spoke with Doug on the phone...I knew exactly where we would stay to celebrate our 35 year anniversary......we truly could have stayed anywhere...but I will tell you this....there is no where else we will ever stay nor vacation again except for at North Shore Oasis....the properties pictures DONT do it justice at all....from entering the magnificent door that leads you to an outdoor oasis with a bridge and koi pond to the upscale decorating and the stocking of the kitchen and everything you can imagine one would need or want for a vacation, from coolers, to umbrellas, bikes Doug didn't miss anything when he stocked and put this gem of a property up for rental.....this beautiful exquisite house is close to everything and truthfully being in Hawaii for the first time....we had a hard time leaving the house...as it was so peaceful for us. I actually called Doug the day we arrived and thanked him for being so upfront about everything and telling him it was better than we ever imagined....and actually called him the day before we left and said how sad we were leaving....this was truly the best property we have ever stayed at and the host by far the absolute best ever! 5 stars is too low to rate this magnificent house...we are trying to figure out dates for next year and will book again.....thank you for making our 35 year anniversary better than we could have ever expected...blessed and thankful to have stayed here!

We loved our stay in the North Shore Oasis for many reasons. First of all, it was an absolutely spectacular home from the beautiful entry into an interior garden space with waterfall, coy pond and garden to the breathtaking views of Makai's hole number 11 and Bali Hai from the entirely glass windowed rear of the home. Secondly, you need bring nothing but your clothes as this home has everything and more! Thirdly, it was spotless and was outfitted with first class amenities. Our hosts are clearly very thoughtful people.
The home is spacious and was very comfortable for our family of 5 (3 young adults). The kitchen was a cook's dream as it was well-configured and contained everything one needs to prepare a wonderful meal. Plus, we enjoyed a view of the interior garden or the golf course while cooking. The dining and living areas are also lovely and very comfortably (yet elegantly) furnished with colors that are soothing and appropriate to Kauai. There is a nice sound system that worked well with an aux cord plus a flat screen television with very comfortable seating. The beds were also very comfortable and outfitted with the softest sheets and an assortment of pillows. The bathroom (and beach towels) were plentiful and of excellent quality. The garage housed bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs, towels, beach bags, umbrellas, snorkel equipment, surf board, umbrellas, etc. of excellent quality. Our family loved how organized everything was. The owners have provided everything from sun screen to kitchen spices to fresh flowers to soaps to food for the coy in the garden pond to multiple fans perfect for hot nights. The third bedroom is air conditioned, which was perfect for a sensitive sleeper (or 3 which can comfortably sleep in the third bedroom). The showers were a treat as well as they were both very beautifully designed. Even though it was very warm during our visit, we used the spa (at a cooler temperature) and loved the garden setting as we relaxed after a day of golf.
Hanalei Bay beach is an easy 5-7 minute drive from the Oasis. Bike rides around Princeville are fun as well. The evening golf course sunset tour is not to be missed. Lei Petite coffee shop is an easy walk as is the grocery store, which stocks everything and anything you could want. As importantly, our favorite Lappert's Ice Cream is located in the same shopping area. There are plenty of restaurants within 2-10 minutes by car, if you prefer to dine out.

The pictures don't do this place justice! Our annual girl's trip was just wonderful and a huge part of that was due to the accommodations. We walked in and were floored by the thoughtfulness that has gone into this rental property - by far the best I've stayed in. Some of us are already talking about how we can come back and stay. Great location, great house, great time! The only thing we could even suggest would be some check out instructions on how you'd like us to leave the place to ensure you were happy with us as guests (i.e. leave sheets and towels in the washer, etc.). We couldn't get the BBQ to light, but that could have definitely been operator error and not a reflection on our stay at all. Loved it!

The name Oasis is absolutely appropriate for this Kauai gem! This was my first experience with VRBO and I could not be more pleased. The house was wonderful - and equipped perfectly for relaxing after our daily adventures. My teenage son absolutely loved the hot tub, my husband is an early riser and enjoyed watching the sunrise over the mountains, and I found myself mostly out by the koi pond feeding the friendly fish (yes, they really have personalities!). We found the bikes to be handy as we explored Princeville and peddled over to Queens Bath. The linens, towels and bedding are above average. The layout of the house is extremely warm and inviting. I could not be more pleased with the amenities from the garage to the back deck. The location was close to Hanalei and Napali Coast, which we frequented. Our 6 day stay was way too short and I hope to come back and visit this beautiful island again soon. And if/when I do, I will absolutely stay in the Oasis again. Read all the reviews; they are all spot on. Doug is excellent, friendly and quick to return any communications. Thank you for sharing your amazing home with my family. It was a blessing!

We recently returned from an incredible stay at the Oasis. We would have loved to stay longer, 3 nights was too short to completely enjoy this beautiful house! The house was incredibly beautiful and is in a quiet neighborhood backing up to the golf course, it is stocked with everything you could every want or need. Boogie boards, snorkel gear, bikes, beach chairs, binoculars, great travel/local books...everything! The house is focused around the outdoor koi pond, waterfall and rock garden, which you can see from nearly every room. We only used one of the bedrooms/bathroom but the entire house was beautifully decorated modern/Balinesian style. We can not wait to go back again! The owner is very attentive and quickly responsive. Do not hesitate to stay at the Oasis!

We just returned from a wonderful ten day stay at this phenomenal home overlooking the scenic Princeville golf course against a stunning backdrop of the spectacular mountains. Everything about this home caters to total relaxation and comfort. You will have the best night's sleep away from home in the luxurious master bedroom accommodations and the kitchen inspired all types of meals! It is conveniently located to the center of Princeville for grocery shopping, great restaurants and shopping yet it is in a serene and quiet neighborhood surrounded by lush tropical gardens. The courtyard waterfall and coy pond is just the ticket for complete relaxation (with a dip in the whirlpool) after a busy day of exploring all the great beaches, bike paths, hiking trails and attractions that this garden island has to offer. The owners are fully engaged in providing timely answers to any questions we had and the property manager ensures that the home is spotless upon arrival! The amenities exceed expectations and the delightful decorating touches were so fun to notice throughout our stay! We did not want to leave this great home, we will definitely return again and we will highly recommend it to our colleagues and friends that want to visit to Kauai!

The Oasis on Kauai's North Shore was the perfect place for us to stay on our vacation. The house design was well laid out and, in fact, perfect for our needs. I found the courtyard with the fountain and coy pond at the center of the house to be very contemplative and was just what I needed to center my thoughts. Likewise the views from the lanai were truly inspiring. When I go back to Kauai, this will be the place to stay! The owners kindly and thoughtfully provided all amenities and daily essentials for a perfect vacation.
