This condo fit all our needs. Great beach, fabulous snorkeling. There was not a day that we did not see multiple turtles just swimming around. Short drive to many wonderful restaurants and shopping. Would recommend this condo!!!
We have been to Maui lots of times and we usually stay up in Kaanapali and I think this might be our new favorite location.

Really enjoyed our stay. Check-in and out was easy and seemless. Very clean place with great views and close enough to the beach that you can really enjoy the sound of the surf. Pool was never overcrowded which is nice, general store on property is super convenient (not that other options aren't close by as it's a great location overall). Plenty of amenities in the unit. Thanks for a great stay!

Split our trip on Maui between 2 places, this room was better in every way. Equipped as if we stayed at Grandma's house, even a ninja blender that made great smoothies. Lots of pretty beaches on Maui but every beach we visited, we commented that that we should have just stayed "Home" -therefore we felt the location perfect. The golf course type lawn next to beach was an unexpected bonus -to be on the beach without getting dirty if you choose, although we did mostly relax in the soft sand. View was tremendous, will be hanging photos taken from balcony on our wall at home. Great AC, comfy beds, nice showers with good pressure, modern appliances, water filter, could go on and on - Very highly recommended!!

This was a perfect location. Steps from the beach. The listing was very accurate. Clean and modern. Plenty of space for our family of four. Having use of the beach amenities (chairs, snorkel equipment..) was very convenient.
Kitchen well equipped to prepare your own meals but also very close to numerous restaurants. Highly recommend this stay!

We cannot say enough good things about this property. The view and beach was stunning. We saw whales from the lanai! The concierge downstairs arranged two excursions for us. The General Store made fantastic açaí bowls. :).
The condo itself was clean and comfortable. The photos of the unit are exactly how it looks in person. The owner/manager thought of EVERYTHING. We ate most breakfasts in the unit along with dinner once and the unit had all we needed to make it easy and enjoyable. They have grills on the main level as well. We traveled with our seven year old who loved the pool and the beach toys provided in the deck box. We snorkeled right off the beach (gear also provided in the unit) - you’ll see turtles, starfish and a rainbow of other fish and if you dive down you can hear the whales singing. We look forward to booking here again!

Our family of five absolutely loved this place. The location was perfect. We spent our days playing in the pool and the ocean and the fact that they were so close together meant that it was easy for one adult to take one kid to the beach while the others stayed at the pool or ran up to the condo to grab snacks.
The condo and property were very clean (maybe the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in) and had everything we needed.
The 808 General Store in the building was also very convenient. I recommend checking it out.
We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed four nights in this condo as a group of five college roommates celebrating our 65th birthdays and 47 years of friendship. Beautiful views from the lanai of sunrise over the mountains behind us, and sunset over the ocean in front of us. The condo was comfortable and well equipped, and the towels were nothing short of luxurious! Having an assigned parking spot near the entrance was so convenient. The outdoor areas were absolutely the best - nice pool, clean wide beach, and fantastic lawn area well equipped with lounge chairs. Plus close and easy access to town and shopping.
The size of the condo worked for the five of us but might be a little tight with six adults. If we were to offer one area improvement for the next season, a freshen up of paint might be in order.
Overall, the unit was perfect for us and Shannan was a dream to work with! Five thumbs up! And thank you for sharing your amazing home!

We had a wonderful stay at Mana Kai in this lovely property. It was perfect for my family of 4 with units A and B. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances and kitchenware so we were able to make meals in the unit. The beds and bathrooms were comfortable. The view was simply gorgeous and we appreciated all the beach equipment. We got a lot of use out of everything and made our beach time most enjoyable. The unit was extremely clean, parking was great, and staff was great. Mahalo Shannan for a great experience!

The VRBO listing is accurate, but it's misleading, too. I suppose six people could sleep here, but it would be very crowded, all the time. The place seemed about right for my wife and I. It would have been difficult for another couple to use the other bed (which has a great ocean view) and really tough for another couple to use the sofa bed. The whole unit seemed narrow, somewhat jammed together... again, OK for two people, nuts for six.
The kitchen was adequate (we didn't cook much), with a great refrigerator, but it was very small. There were utensils provided, but not much of anything, just four or five or six of each. The bare other items were there, nothing fancy like a good blender. Mr. Coffee coffee maker. And the dishwasher was very small, although there wasn't a lot to put in it. The "kitchenette" in the master bedroom was barely existent and there were no utensils, a minimal number of dishes and glasses... we used none of it.
The bathroom, like everything else, was small and narrow, but adequate. We seldom used the second bathroom, which was just like the main.
So... barely adequate space and furnishings, but it was enough for us and the view was terrific from the fifth floor. We watched the sun set most nights and we always had coffee in the morning on the lanai.
In general, the unit seems over-priced to me, although I wouldn't give up the view, so maybe not.
I'll also mention that the bartender at Five Palms, the restaurant that's part of the building, said they were barely in business and were likely to close soon. They were already closed for breakfast and lunch on Monday and Tuesday. The beer was perfectly normal, though, and the food was good, so it's OK for the moment.

Location was incredible. There were a few days that I just sat on the beach or lawn and did nothing. Shannan was kind, very easy to contact, and was prompt in her response. There were plenty of places nearby to eat and shop. The beach and pool were perfect for kids. The waves weren't too strong. I didn't close the siding doors all week! The weather was great, the sounds of the ocean were so peaceful, and the fresh air was renewing.
We made many meals there. There were plenty of kitchenware to prepare meals. Careful with the knives though. There starting to dull.
Definitely recommend. Coming back from our excursions every night was a great way to end the day. Looking forward to returning...maybe after COVID restrictions lift a bit more.

What a lovely condo! Spent my honeymoon here and it had the perfect view and clean room. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed! We just enjoyed the 2nd bedroom as a “theater room” but it would be perfect for 2 couples since there are a shared hallway but locking doors into each main bedroom section. Loved our time here and hopefully can book again in the future.

We loved staying here! Shannan was quick to respond and was happy to help us with whatever we needed. It was a beautiful location and we enjoyed whale watching from the balcony. The lawn area is well maintained and restaurant/bar was excellent. Since we had a late flight and there was no one checking in the day we left, Shannan graciously allowed us to stay through the afternoon. We enjoyed a beach day then we were able to shower and change before heading to the airport.
One thing that was not a big deal to us but others may want to know. This is an older building that has been well taken care of and remodeled, however, the water pipes like to make noises day and night (it’s not loud, but you can hear them). If you are a light sleeper I would suggest earplugs, which is what we did and we slept great in the very comfortable beds!

Shannan was very helpful in making our stay a vacation to remember. This complex is steps from an incredible beach, and you have everything you need close by. I highly recommend this unit and would not hesitate to stay here again on our next trip to Maui.

We spent a week at the mana Kai unit 509. The unit was immaculate and exactly as pictured. The space was comfortable and well arranged, the views of the resort, beach and ocean were exceptional. The resort was also beautiful with onsite rentals of paddle boards etc., a general store which made a quick snack or lunch easy, tiki torches at night around the grounds and plenty of beach chairs. It is within 2 miles of shops and restaurants, convenient but not in traffic. I would absolutely stay here again.

This is a premier location in South Maui. The viewsare incredible and just steps to the awesome Keawakapu Beach. Very good snorkeling right near the condo. The condo is recently renovated with wonderful amenities. The manager was very easy to work with and displayed true Aloha spirit.

This was an absolutely stunning condo! We rarely left the grounds because the beach access and our kitchen made it hard not to leave. And the sunsets on their balcony were amazing! We will definitely be back!!

This place is next to heaven! It is so beautiful and relaxing! I would leave the window open so I could hear the waves each evening lull me to sleep! Everything is up to date and everything is included from sand toys, towels, and beach chairs! Beautiful beach where you can go snorkeling right next to the unit! The location is excellent with plenty of parking! I highly recommend this place!

My husband and I visit Maui every year. We stayed at the condo in Kihei during our last visit and loved it. The condo is very clean and completely updated with all new appliances. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need if you want to cook in. The balcony has plenty of seating to enjoy a coffee in the morning or have a sunset cocktail in the evening. The best part is the ocean view from the front bedroom. Waking up to that every morning was a great start to the day. The amenities are great too. The building has an amazing sushi restaurant with a great happy hour and a very convenient store if you need to stock up on sunscreen or grab a snack. There are plenty of lounge chairs available and the beach is great for swimming and snorkeling. The manager Shannen is a very gracious host and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely be back!
