Great 3 bedroom condo in Wailea—within walking distance to Shops at Wailea and our favorite beach. Our family of five enjoyed the stay in beautiful Maui!

Arrived at Grand Champions ʻEkolu condo #148 and was pleasantly surprised at the homey, comfortable setting of the entire condo. The king-sized bed in the master suite was comfortable and the master bathroom with the huge stand up shower with a separate wc was perfect. The amenities in the bathrooms, kitchen and washer/dryer area were just right. Just a couple things that could be improved upon. We had trouble with resetting the cable controller twice. However, both were resolved with very helpful and accommodating associates and two times, while doing our laundry, the washer did not complete itʻs cycle and we had to start it all over again. All in all, our vacation was such a wonderful break from our busy lives and we were very happy with our Grand Champions experience and will most likely be visiting your facilities again. Mahalo a nui loa!!!

This is a death by a thousand cuts situation. I preface this by saying I should have looked a little closer to the condo description outlining amenities, as this place was comically missing a bunch of stuff that you would just expect. It starts off with one little thing like "where's the salt and pepper" and then kind of snowballs from there. Other head scratchers: 4 total bath towels for 4 people for 7 nights 4 total beach towels 1 single 1/3 cup measuring cup no hand soap no beach cooler (Discovered this as we were walking out the door for the beach and they said "You can drive up to the Office in Kehei and pick one up or we can drop something off later in the afternoon." Both of which does me absolutely no good. no beach "things" at all other than chairs and a SUPER flimsy umbrella 1 extra blanket, no extra pillows And on and on and on. Part of what made this kind of funny was we were with 3 other families all staying at different condos in the Grand Champions resort and they all were abundantly supplied, which is generally my expectation when I stay at 3rd party condos. Something else unrelated to amenities but nonetheless irritating was the carpet on the main "thoroughfare" of the condo was really soiled and the carpet was coming up from the floor. Again....not a deal breaker but come on guys... Lastly, it is literally the farthest point in the Grand Champions to anything in Wailea. So if you are trying to go to the Shops at Wailea for instance it is a minimum 15 min walk (steep incline, steep decline) and minimum 20-25 min walk to the beach (i am a healthy man in my 40's walking with teenagers). We tried to get away with taking a shortcut through the Wailea golf course but were told a few times from golf marshalls we couldn't walk through because it was private property. You really need a car for this location. All of that said the property manager was responsive and remedied what she could but after a while we just stopped asking. I would say just make sure to look at the amenities list as the other 200 units available probably have more of what you need, or maybe this review will prompt some change.

We tried to stay at the resorts but they were booked so we found this property at Grand Champions. Great facility with amenities. Location was perfect. Our condo sat on the first hole of the golf course and you had an ocean view. Everything was as advertised. Very spacious and nice.
