We truly enjoyed this condo. The oceanfront location was ideal to experience all that the Big Island has to offer. A hundred feet in front waves crash with an amazing ferocity, To the left is a public saltwater pool that was a blast when the surf was high. Next to that you will find surfers and wonder how they are able to perform their quick turns. The freshwater pool is very clean (heated via solar panels) and was clearly a favorite of many of the guests and residents.
We took advantage of the "sandy" beach area every day. The trees and umbrellas provided excellent shade and it was a comfortable place for reading or just watching the surf, admiring how the wave and splash you just saw could have been larger than the last. (But you never do get wet)
The BBQ's were in excellent shape. Air Conditioning was very welcome and although it is only in the living room, it did help cool the bedroom at the other end. The kitchen is well stocked with all the pots, pans, and utensils you will need.
We certainly will consider this condo again on our next visit.

The view and the surronding property are fantastic. The small beach area in front of the condo is very nice for relaxing and listening to the ocean. The other feature is the barbecue area where you cook dinner and enjoy eating right at the tables provided.

Fantastic spot
There isn’t one thing you could say against this accommodation
Everything you could possibly need plus the best sunset view through to great communication with resort owners
The condo, gardens etc were all clean and well maintained
Small grocery store next door free trolley bus you can catch outside if you feel energetic it is around a 20-30 minute walk to town

My husband and I loved our little condo in Kona Isle! We had an unbelievable ocean view and could see the sunset so perfectly! It was clean and had cute island decor all throughout the condo. There is one AC Unit in the living room, but it cooled the entire place no problem! I highly reccomend staying here.

The check in process was so easy! You could hear the sound of the waves from inside and that was exactly what I was looking for. The bed was very comfortable and the wifi worked perfectly. I’d definitely stay here again.

Watched dolphins and whales from our balcony. We used the BBQ's and liked them. Wife floated in the saltwater pool in front of condo. Caught the free kona trolley on the street behind our condo going both directions many times. Condo was great and the view was awesome!

Just imagine: morning Kona coffee with ocean breeze, magnificent Hawaii sunset at your own lanai, pacific waves crashing into rocks when you asleep… these are our daily experiences when staying at Kona isle E21. It’s magical. This condo was the perfect base for my son and I’s week long stay at Kona. Very convenient location, quiet and clean. Kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need for a breakfast or light dinner. AC in livingroom only but strong enough to keep bedroom comfortable for sleeping. We actually loved turning it off at sleeping so we hear the ocean! If you have a smaller group, no more than 4, this is your dream place to stay in Kona. Thank you, we will be back!

Property was in a perfect location! View was amazing! We sat on the balcony every chance we had! Only downfall is the air conditioner does not reach well to the bedroom but we were provided with a fan that helped circulate the air. But we were provided with a lot of amenities most places do not provide. The cooler was an exceptional help when we were out running and visiting the island. I was very pleased with all the extras provided!

Our condo at the Kona Isle Condominiums was the perfect place for my wife and I on our honeymoon. Our unit was clean, well kept and air conditioned. The lanai overlooking the pool, beach and ocean was like looking at a postcard. Sunrises and Sunsets out there were magical. We loved every minute. Our only negative (if you can call it that) was the lack of AC in the bedroom. We slept on the pullout couch in the living room, which was super comfy, just because the bed room was too hot at night.

I was really impressed by the Kona Coast Vacation staff - they dropped off bbq utensils on the 4th of July, fixed a loose rail on the lanai within an hour and were generally extremely responsive.
The condo is exactly as advertised - beautiful view and well appointed with a hula lamp anyone with taste has considered hoisting! My only gripe is that the AC is in the living room - it was too hot for me to sleep in the bedroom so I slept on the pullout while my wife and daughter held it down in the bedroom. Obviously not a dealbreaker but one more AC unit would make this rental perfect.

We spent two weeks in this unit, and its in a very nice location, but doesn’t have a sand beach for swimming. The unit is reasonably well equipped with necessities for a stay of a week or more, but be forewarned that the air-conditioner is in a wall in the living room and doesn’t do much for the temperature of the bedroom or bathroom. The owners have left a couple of fans in the bedroom closet which can help the situation if you leave them running 24/7. The sounds of the surf are nice, and there are lots of restaurants within minutes. Breakfasts on the balcony overlooking the ocean, or enjoying a beverage while watching the sunset make this unit a place to remember.

We married in Hawaii and spent our honeymoon in this condo . This condo is absolutely perfect. Furnished very well , kitchen has everything you need. We enjoyed having the use of beach chairs, umbrella and cooler! The grounds are beautiful ! Sunsets are perfect ! Loved the grills and beach area.

We spent many hours just gazing out over the ocean, listening to the waves crashing against the rock sea wall, and looking out for humpback whale sightings. So relaxing! This was the perfect spot for cruising around the Big Island and we enjoyed the fact that it was located a little ways down from town so not as much traffic or people. Very peaceful. Highly recommend!

Wow, what a wonderful visit and what an exceptional condo. It was exactly as described and more. The location couldn’t have gotten us closer to the water with spectacular views and incredible sunsets. The condo was tastefully decorated and well stocked with everything we needed, Including the use of beach chairs and great towels to visit all of the nearby beaches. We loved the lanai and spent a lot of time there including having all of our meals outside. Other reviews have mentioned that this is one of the best condos to be in given the views and it’s proximity to the ocean and we agree. We will be back. Susan and Bob

The best thing about this place is the view. It was wonderful to watch sunsets from the lanai. The air conditioning was not working while we were there—although a portable AC unit was installed in the bedroom before we arrived—and even with multiple fans it was very warm in the living/dining area. Thankfully, the lanai provided relief.

Very nice unit. Grounds are immaculate. View is spectaclar. The E 21 has AC, which many do not.
The unit is well outfitted with linens and extras including beach towels and beach chairs, and ceiling fans in both areas.
The main tv has Netflix and other streaming channels. Wi-Fi connected easily and strong.
One light on the stairwell was out but was immediately fixed within one day. Pool was excellent and cleaned each day.
