Just a two day stay for my nephews graduation. I knew what I was getting but could use updating but the price was right and the views from the balcony were breath taking

The property was clean, away from the business of the main city, but still close enough to walk into town. The room wasn't fancy, but met our needs. The view of the volcano from the balcony was spectacular. The downstairs communal sitting area with a view of the ocean and rocky beach access was lovely too.

We prefer quieter side of Honolulu, so this is the perfect location. This a simple property but had everything we needed and was as clean as an older property can be. Had quite a decnt view too! Lovely walking neighborhood, good restaurants within walking distance. We would go back.

The process was simple and timely. The property management was quick to respond. The location is perfect as it’s walking distance to restaurants, shops, beach and park. That being said the facility needs a makeover. Because it’s so close to the beach and higher up there’s a lot of wind noise. At times it sounded as if motorcycles where racing outside until I realized it’s because the front door needs weather stripping. I used a towel to block the wind from entering under the door frame and it took care of the noise but the glass door still rattled. The view was beautiful so it was worth dealing with it. I was not informed or aware there was a marathon that blocked us from being able to leave the area to go sightseeing wished the mgmt would have informed us. The linen was soiled when I checked the beds glad I traveled with my own. We mostly used the facility to sleep and shower. On the last day we realized the key fob opens a lovely area in the back with lounge chairs wishing we would have been told.

We enjoyed our stay here at the Diamond Head Beach Hotel and Residences. Room was clean and had everything we needed, similar in size to a standard hotel room and in a great location just outside of the busy Waikiki area. Check in went smoothly and communication with the property manager was excellent.

Location was perfect. Paid for parking space which was convenient but expensive. Room was just a hotel room that is in desperate need of updating. Views from both sides of the room were excellent!!

I will say overall our place was absolutely perfect! It was a quite location, could see both the beach and diamond head as advertised, and it was about a 20 min walk to the restaurants/main beach of Waikiki, although there’s a smaller beach about 5 minutes down the road we walked to that was perfect as well. My only 2 reasons for not giving a 5 star review are small but inconvenient. 1st is that their policy is to not provide more than 2 rolls of toilet paper which was mainly just odd and a little inconvenient, although there’s a convenience store a few minutes away we were able to buy more at, so not the end of the world. The 2nd is the window unit. Dang it’s loud!! It cools the room well enough, but if the AC is running, you CANNOT hear in the room well and it’s impossible to have a conversation while on the lanai! I would strongly recommend that they upgrade the unit and this place would be all but perfect!

A nice condo on 10th floor, a view of Diamond Head and ocean view, across from park. Kitchen area is adequate for small meals, making coffee. A couple of suggestions... it would be nice if there were screens on windows & slider, that way can get a breeze in evenings and not worry about bugs...Also safety strips or mat in bathtub would be beneficial to prevent slipping and potential injury from a fall.

Great place to stay. A few things in the studio needed repairs. The bathroom window almost came apart when trying to close it. The chair in the room had very worn upholstery. Neither of these things affected our stay.

Communication prompt and responsive and kind. Location excellent and property appeared clean and maintained. However, our room our very small and appeared more like a converted motel room rather than a studio. No kitchen, no kitchen sink, nice refrigerator, and microwave, but no space to cook or prep food. Requested a broom and stove top which they bought up immediately. Air conditioning over one bed, so cannot use when sleeping, opened lania doors. Good size lanai. You need to use the lanai to eat because that is where the only table with two chairs is located. Eating on lania was fine with me. Beach amenities supplied in room; however, no one mentioned the beautiful common space near the ocean which I discovered later. Mark was courteous and responsive, but I think this is a real estate rental, not an owner rental. The room needs shutters like other rooms on this floor, not old drapes. The room could use a facelift; however views and quiet were superb as were the people I met who live or rent there. So while the room didn’t live up to my expectation, the location certainly did. This is a space for two people, not anymore.

This location is great for exploring the area....short walk to bustling Waikiki. Convenience store in walking distance.... had to go there for soap/shampoo/conditioner that were not provided. Lovely view from the balcony and the breeze was wonderful! Mark met us on arrival and oriented us to the unit and building. Great price!

If you don't care about not being right in the action of Waikiki, then consider this place. It is adjacent to Kapiolani Park, and about a slow 15-minute stroll to the edge of Waikiki. We really loved that it was at the end of the building, so you truly did have awesome views all around, an amazing breeze, and a sense of privacy. David, the on-site manager, is as nice and welcoming as can be, giving my tween girls sun glasses, beach balls, and offering boogie board loaners. There is a nice sand beach that is less than a five-minute walk, but we did most of our swimming off of the sea wall directly behind the hotel. The water was great, not crowded, and there was decent snorkling as well. The room itself is a bit snug for four and perhaps could use a bit of freshening up, but we spent so little time there that we didn't care. I would pay the extra $20/day for parking (a bargain in Honolulu). There is an ice machine and laundry facilities on site too. We would definitely return to this little gem.

From check in till check out this place had me sold. The gentleman who showed us to our room was courteous and informative. The views, though we were on the backside, were incredible. The crossbreeze was stellar, and will return to this property.
