Overall, the Waikiki sure units appear to be very clean and you’re in a pretty good spot on the beach. The beach is pretty thin in this area, but it’s a very short walk toward the Hilton for a wider beach. Beach services and rental are nearby in handy. Our particular unit has a couple of the drawbacks. It was right next to the elevator and there was frequent noise from the elevator operating. He did not interfere with our sleeping. So having the elevator nearby was good. The TV needs to be replaced. The colors are off and washed out. If I were to stay at a Waikiki Shore again, I would get a unit with a lower number, for example 1403 or 1406, etc. for even better views.

Property itself was older and run down. Unit had basics of small studio and was renovated. The lanai has a great view of Hilton fireworks and beach. Can’t beat the proximity to beach and walking distance to shops, restaurants, etc. Major bummer was that there was no pool area and hot tub. We were informed that units managed by outrigger has access to outrigger amenities next door but sadly we did not. We also wished unit included parking space. We paid extra which was ok but next time we may stay in a property that has a hot tub/pool area and included parking spot(which is harder to find) The unit does seem like it may go through a facelift at some pint though. Definitely worth a try!

This studio fits all your needs when you are vacationing in Waikiki. It has a beautiful view of the beach and the mountains, which allows for watching many romantic sunsets on the lanai. It has a full stocked kitchen with microwave, oven and refrigerator. Having a washer and dryer allows for lighter packing. Best of all you take the elevator down to the first floor and walk out to the beach. This studio made our vacation in Oahu fantastic. Will definitely stay here again.

One always fears that your dream vacation is ruined by the claims you relied on were false or you just missed an important point before booking. Wow, look at this honey. A condo (not hotel), on the beach, highrise with a view, and with stylish furniture. I'm a surfer so I was mainly interested in the board storage area with outdoor shower. This can not be true. How to avoid Waikiki food pricing for 3 meals a day? The Steak Shack and Sun Up were both at beach level within the footprint of the building ($9 steak or Chicken dinner, $6 breakfast special...Unreal!!). There was a mini shop (like an ABC) for a six pack and there was a Subway too. We loved the place. The view from the room/deck was unreal. We witnessed other high rise buildings which only looked at each other. Our room looked over a park and out to the ocean and far away buildings. We preferred eating our take out dinner on the deck than going out to over hyped "to be seen" eateries. I had a surfboard delivered for 1/2 the price of beach rentals. Surfed a few days and then we needed to vacate because of Hurricane Lane possible direct hit. We hated to leave but we left a day early to escape to the North Shore. The 'emergency' refund policy was unexpected. We are Baja not Oahu people but should we ever return, we will stay at this location again or not go if we can not book!!
