This unit in the Palms has just about everything you need to fill right at home and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This is our fifth trip to Wailea so just a few things that I would’ve wanted to read in reviews but did not see. The kitchen was well equipped, but did not have any cooking sprays or seasonings for cooking. It does not come with a conventional beach umbrella (it does come with something in a bag and looked new)so we ended up renting one and the beach chairs have seen better days. The smart TV was very slow and lost internet connection regularly. The split A/C units work great and are very quiet and there is one in each room. The unit is close to the road but we had no issues whatsoever with noise and the grounds are well kept and beautiful. The balcony was great in the mornings and evenings and the grill is a nice addition that a lot of properties don’t allow anymore. The pool is walking distance and has a great view of the ocean and sunset in the evenings. We will definitely consider this condo for our future stays if available.

What a beautiful condo in a great location! Partial ocean views and a great Lanai to enjoy your morning coffee and all the singing birds. The pictures truly do not do this condo justice. The condo was extremely clean and well-maintained. All the amenities of home, including beach chairs and beach towels. The grounds of the Palms at Wailea are very beautifully landscaped and the pool area was also super nice. Great Customer Service, we had a very minor issue that was resolved quickly and in a very friendly manner. We would highly recommend renting this unit. This visit was our 7th trip to the beautiful island of Maui, and we would definitely rent this unit again in the future :)

We stayed at this unit for 8 nights with a family of 5. Even if the sofa doesn't have hidden bed, its very comfortable. The unit is remodelled, very spacious, kitchen fully equipped and got beach gears. We really recommend this unit.

I booked this condo while visiting Maui with my brother and sister-in-law in July 2023. My daughter and son-in-law live on the island and I've been to Hawaii many times, but it was the first visit to Hawaii for my brother and SIL. Since my daughter lives upcountry we wanted to stay in a location convenient for visiting her that was also convenient to the rest of the island. Palms 1704 was perfect for us! Wailea is such a beautiful part of the island (my favorite area and where my husband and I always stay when we're in Maui), and my family members loved it, too. The condo was very spacious and well laid-out to allow for privacy. The photos really don't do it justice - it's lovely and uncluttered. We enjoyed the lanai and had no problem with it being near the main road running alongside the unit - others had commented on noise issues, but we didn't find it bothersome at any time of day. We were very close to the beautiful beaches of Wailea and were able to find parking easily just down the street from the unit. The pool and hot tub were a nice treat after the beach, and were never crowded. We found everything we needed for our stay and didn't need to purchase anything at all while we were there unlike other VRBO properties I've used in the past. Check-in was super easy - loved the keyless entry - and we didn't have any need to contact the property manager during our stay. The air conditioning and ceiling fans were much appreciated, and both beds were comfortable. The only very tiny suggestion I have for improvement is this: My bedroom had a charging tower on one of the bedside tables that handled all of my electronics with room to spare; my brother and SIL didn't have one in the master bedroom and were envious of it :-). I highly recommend this property to anyone traveling to Maui, and would definitely book it again.

Condo was very well stocked for cooking and grilling. We loved grilling for dinner and sitting on the Lanai to eat. Kitchen also has two blenders which was great for smoothies.
The pool was great but got a bit crowded at times. Beach is ~10 minute walk but can also drive. We loved the chairs and beach towels in the condo! Condo is alongside a road but no issues / was overall not loud. The location makes it closer to the beach compared to other units in the property.
Check in process was seamless and host provided all info needed.

This was the first time we have stayed at the Palms and we really enjoyed it. The room was in great condition and very clean. This condo has three ductless A/C units that keep the whole condo nice and cool. Hearing from some others staying in other units this isn't the case throughout the complex. Unit was well stocked with beach towels, snorkel gear, and beach chairs. We will for sure stay at this unit again if staying in the Wailea area.

We had an amazing stay at our VRBO property at The Palms in Wailea. The property was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our 2 week stay on Maui. We especially appreciated the Snorkel gear and beach chairs. The Palms is centrally located in Wailea - close to so many beaches, shops and restaurants. The property is two thumbs up!!!!!

Our vacation did not start off very well, as like many travellers, our flights were cancelled. We started our vacation four days later than planned. When we arrived to the rental, we were happy to see it was quite spacious and modern. One advantage of The Palms is the large lanais, and your own barbecue, which we really appreciate. The location on the property was not great, as it is directly beside a busy road.A couple days into our stay, all three of the air conditioning units stopped working. They had run out of refrigerant. Because it was a holiday, we were told a service tech would have to come in the morning.The next morning when I inquired when they would be coming, I was told that an outside service company was needed, and they were not available, and would come the next day. They offered portable air conditioning units, which we accepted. However, they gave us one unit in the main living space, and nothing for the bedrooms. Their suggestion was to sleep with the windows open, which would have been doable, if there was not so much street noise.The air conditioning was never serviced while we were there, so our last three days were spent without reliable air conditioning. I realize that it was a holiday time and hard to find service, but we paid a premium for holiday dates, and expected to have the amenities working.While the guest relations were apologetic and kind, there was really nothing they were able to resolve.

We loved our stay at the Palms! This unit has a nice balcony with ocean views over the trees. Great place for coffee in the morning. There is a great beach about a 10 minute walk away that has amazing sunsets. The condo is lovely and well appointed with everything you need!

VRBO listing good reflection of property, nicely located in Wailea. Large lanai, gas grill and large kitchen all contributed to the enjoyment of the property.

The property was as described. As others have mentioned, there are steps to get to the condo and there is some street noise, but it was barely audible inside the condo. Was in walking distance of the beach and The Shops at Wailea. For those coming later, there is now a new beach umbrella for your use. :)

Incredible vacation!! The location, the fabulous layout, the cleanliness, the soaking tub, the comfortable beds, the washer/dryer, the AC in each room you could adjust to your preference, were all noted & made this such a great stay. Felt even bigger than we expected. Short walk to shopping and restaurants in Wailea and even shorter walk right onto the beach. Fantastic amenities. Beautiful pool and hot tub. Will stay here again!

We spent an entire week on Maui, and while we were rarely in our unit (too busy taking in the beauty of Maui), when we were - we fully enjoyed and relaxed. The lanai is the best feature of this unit, the views are stunning! We are already discussing our next trip back to the islands, and will certainly try to book our stay here again!

The property was very nice and appointed and stocked with all that you will need for your stay. It did have a couple of operational glitches with the refrigerator and dryer. These were address in a timely manner by CB property management and resolution was reached. We have been coming to the Palms for over 20 years and will be coming back to use this unit again. Aloha

We had a GREAT time during our visit. The location was perfect and the space looked exactly like the photos. The property was very nice; the only challenge we had was the air conditioner in the living area didn't cool as much as expected. When we notified the property management company, they responded immediately. It cooled for a little while and then not so much. In all fairness, we didn't notify the property management company because we were gone most of the day each day and it wasn't a huge problem. Overall, I would stay here again and would definitely recommend to others.
