We loved the location and the property! It was better than the pictures in our opinion. The master bed was comfortable as well. The linens in the murphy bed are a bit musty so would require washing before use if you need to use the bed- we did not need to use it. Overall great rental and we had great sunsets each night!

Really liked this place, we stayed in 3 different places during our 8 nights in Hawaii and this was our starting point. The grounds are well kept, everyone friendly and the condo itself was all you needed. Spacious master, great kitchen and living areas and the lanai was so relaxing. Away from the crowds but minutes away from so much. Amazing having a grocery store 2 minutes away as well. Would totally stay here in the future.

This townhouse has it all - fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, large master suite, 2nd bathroom, and best of all a lanai with amazing view of the waves crashing on the beach below.

Paul was very responsive to all our questions. Location is perfect close to the airport, shopping and activities. The condo is well stocked we took advantage of the cooler and ice packs when exploring.

What a great space to enjoy with my spouse. The condo had everything we needed for a great stay. The kitchen was well appointed. We had lots of beach toys and pool toys. One of the best parts was the mango tree right outside the condo, who knew we’d be able to pick fresh fruit? It was amazing.

I will plan future trips around the availability of this condo! Enjoying the incredible view with my morning coffee on the huge lanai was one of my favorite parts of the trip. The space was absolutely perfect for me and my teenage son. I took the murphy bed in the main area and my son took the main bedroom. We each had our own bathrooms! The place is so cozy, well-maintained, and well stocked. The grounds are beautiful, the ocean view pool is amazing, and access was so easy and secure. And the hosts are delightful and responsive. A wonderful experience throughout!

Beautiful property in a great location. Short walk to shore access through pool for amazing sunset views. Enjoyed view from lanai of ocean waves and boats. Another shore access to walk to small beach. Nearby and easy access to groceries, gas, and restaurants, and up to highway or down Ali'i Drive. Condo has all essentials for kitchen and dining, pool, picnics, and trips to the beach. Murphy bed and main bedroom provided plenty of room and privacy for our family. Very quiet complex was welcome, did not hear neighbors at all at night. The welcome basket of treats was a wonderful addition! Thank you!

This condo was centrally located between coffee farms, snorkeling expeditions, local markets, beaches and the town of Kaihlua-Kona. The condo itself was quiet, clean, and had a wonderful view of the waves from the lanai. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Highly recommended. This is a beautiful property with a fantastic view from the lanai - we had breakfast every day and many dinners outdoors on the lanai. There are also nice views from the public areas of the condo complex. The location is great and made it easy for us to venture as far North as Hapuna Beach and also South to Volcano National Park. There was a temporary issue with the refrigerator which Paul is addressing. Also, the A/C could have been a bit stronger, but we did OK using A/C along with the numerous ceiling and other fans. All in all, a nice vacation spot that we would recommend to our friends.

This was a nice unit. It's spacious and the view was great. The location was good too--the resort was nice and well kept, and there were plenty of restaurants about 10-15 minute drive away. The ocean view pool was a particularly nice place to catch the sunset.
There are two things we felt important to share about this unit. First, the host requests that you keep the AC set at 76 degrees. For us, this is not a comfortable temperature, but I understand that electricity in Hawaii is very expensive so I understand why the host requests this. We just wish we had known that before we booked it. On top of that, we don't think the AC was strong enough to cool the unit down much below that temp anyway. There were tons of ceiling fans and several other fans provided, which helped the situation. But overall, we felt hot and uncomfortable most of the time we were there.
The other issue we felt important to share was that the beds are very firm, especially the king bed in the bedroom. My husband had an especially difficult time sleeping the first night and was sore in the morning. We ended up buying a thick mattress topper at Costco and he slept on the murphy bed in the living room (which was cooler than the bedroom).
Some other minor things: the host informed us ahead of time that the fridge had broken and he was working hard to get a new one. He provided a large cooler and there was a mini fridge on the patio that we made due with. Not ideal, but it seemed he was doing all that he could to fix the situation--apparently not easy to get a new fridge in Hawaii. Also, the microwave was having some issues losing power during use.
This place has tons of glowing reviews, so these issues might just be particular to us. But, wanted to share in case anyone else might find it helpful. The host was responsive, but our main concerns (AC and firm beds) are not easily dealt with and again, may be specific to us. If you like to come home to a cool place after being out in the sun all day, maybe consider elsewhere.

I have never seen views so gorgeous while having my breakfast! This condo was well stocked, clean, gorgeous, had plenty of space and the pools were well used by our teenage children. We loved the security of a gated community and the ease of coming and going! I would definitely recommend this place over and over again.

Quiet comfortable condo with three pools and two tennis courts on property, very near municipal golf course. One pool is right by ocean - so nice watching waves and relaxing. Used as base for short 15 minute rides to downtown Kona, Umekes seafood, the summer Palace and took a Mauna Kea sunset tour (up where all the observatories are.) Breakfast on the lanai looking at the bay was just a great way to start each day.

Checking was easy everybody was friendly that location is not far from town but far away enough where you can get some nice rest and relaxation. There is a shopping mall close by for groceries and also if you don’t feel like cooking some restaurants. The hosts were extremely kind and easy to communicate with. Wonderful property. We came with two other families that also stayed in the same community. Our unit had a spectacular view and the kids slept in the Murphy bed just fine. Only minor issue were tiny little ants that would be found in the kitchen but we happened to spend our meals either out at restaurants or at our friends’ units. We didn’t communicate with the property manager, which is the only reason for the three stars.

This trip was one of the more special vacations we had, in part due to this beautiful condo. Let me begin with how easy we were able to find the property based on the well written directions and convenient location. As we drove down from Kamehameha Rd, the ocean view and serenity of the place took our breath away. The condo draws you to the outdoors that has phenomenal presentation. Inside the home is curated and designed to have the most beautiful views from every angle. It is comfortable and spacious with thoughtful design details everywhere you look. The kitchen was so well equipped we didn’t have to worry about packing or buying anything extra. Beach necessities were also provided. Each bed was really comfortable, we have stayed at many rental places and not all of them have both the ambiance and comfort that this home provided. We stayed for 6 days, I wish we stayed longer.
The location is 10-18 minutes away from supermarkets. And yet, feels secluded and private. It is also 10-25 miles away from famous beaches, restaurants and significant places you definitely doesn’t wanna miss.
Having breakfast at the lanai is a must! Paul was incredibly communicative, although we didn't need anything as the place was clean, everything set up perfectly, and check in and check out was a breeze. Paul and Patty also welcomed us with a lovely basket full of goodies.
Itty bitty snag: we can hear someone upstairs walking back and forth which is totally bearable.
I highly suggest this condo if you are looking for a more secluded feeling that is a quick jaunt to the key spots in Kona. The whole experience was a dream.

Everything about this condo was perfect. Actually, better than perfect! The location couldn't have been better. The condo was spacious, clean, comfortable and pretty. All necessities PLUS many nice-to-haves were available for our use (including beach towels, beach chairs & umbrella, snorkel gear & kitchen extras, including a welcome basket!). The grounds, including the pools, were great. The view from the living room and lanai were gorgeous! The host was responsive. We'd stay again for sure.

The owners truly value and take care of their guests AND it shows! The house and kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need. (Rarely found in vrbo's) Access to the property is very easy. A very beautiful ocean view from the balcony and kitchen. I could do dishes all day! The master bedroom is so spacious and had a very comfy bed. It was also nice having a master bath and laundry in the house. The property maintains the pools and grounds very well and all staff were very friendly and helpful. 3 pools (1 being an adult only) tennis courts and ping pong...my kids were never bored. This property fit my family of 5 (kids 16, 14, 10) very comfortably. Would definitely stay again. Only regret is that we didn't stay longer!

My new favorite place to stay in Kona. The property is everything advertised and more. I really enjoyed the lanai with a fantastic view of the goings on at Keauhou Bay and H -bay. Kanaloa complex is very quiet, well maintained and a feeling of aloha. We did have a problem with the internet, but the host was very responsive and helped fix the problem. I’ll be back.

Our family of 4 (my husband, myself, and our two children ages 13 and 9) shared this condo with my in-laws and could not have chosen a more peaceful or perfect spot to call "home" while we were on the Big Island.
It's just a few minutes from some amazing beaches (go snorkeling in Kahulu'u Bay or ride the waves at Magic Sands), and maybe 15 minutes to downtown Kailua-Kona. It's very quiet and feels secluded/private, despite the fact that you're in a neighborhood of condos.
The condo itself is well stocked with kitchen supplies, and even a few bathroom supplies (shampoo, conditioner, sunscreen, etc) that previous guests have donated. They also had some beach gear (body boards, goggles, beach chairs, and umbrella, etc) for folks to use.
Contacting the owners (Paul and Patty) was convenient, too. There were a couple of times I needed to text Patty directly with a question and she would respond quickly to help.
The only thing I would advise guests to know about is that though it sleeps 6, it has only one bedroom. I guess I didn't notice in the pictures that that was a murphy bed in the living room. Totally fine, but didn't give my husband and I any privacy since we gave our inlaws the (omg huge and amazing) master bedroom. All the beds (including the pull out couch) were comfortable, with plenty of pillows and blankets, though.
We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this to all of our friends! The views, the property, the neighborhood, the location, the hosts, the supplies, and the experience were all just fantastic!

This condo was nicely updated and spotlessly clean. It’s obvious that the hosts have taken great care of it. The condo was stocked with everything you need for a trip to the big island - beach towels, snorkels, beach umbrella and chair etc. Everything was well labeled and easy to find. Paul was very responsive and courteous whenever I reached out. The AC seemed to struggle a bit, but with the ceiling fans, it wasn’t a big deal. The location was amazing, close to everything in Kona, and with a beautiful view of the ocean.

The property was just as described. The lanai was open to the beautiful ocean view and breezes. The location was great, less than a mile to shopping and convenient to most tourist sights. The condo was fully equipped with everything we needed. We took advantage of the three pools scattered around the landscaped grounds. The only thing missing was easy access to a nice swimming beach. There are a number of beaches in the area but the nicest require a 20 minute+ drive. However, if you like boating, scuba diving, or paddle boarding, then these activities are all available within a ten minute walk. We can highly recommend this lovely property.

We were amazed by this property! The unit was very clean and well taken care of. The unit was also well stocked and had everything we needed! We especially enjoyed the welcome basket that had some snacks and coffee. It made us both smile and also took a lot of stress off having to run to the grocery store right away. A true special addition!!
It was just the two of us, but it was so spacious and with 2 bathrooms a larger party could easily stay here too. The bed was super comfortable and we slept great. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the lanai and watching the waves. A beautiful view.
The amenities at the resort were also well maintained. We spent a lot of time at the ocean pool, using the BBQ/grill, and relaxing in the hot tubs at night.

The view and location of this condo are great. We sat out on the lanai each morning for breakfast and many evenings for dinner. The ocean pool is amazing, as it is right on the water and you can hear the waves coming in. The grounds are pretty. It is a good value condo. Be mindful though, it is an older complex and some issues with pests; specifically ants. There were ant traps/poison throughout the condo, including on the floor where our baby would crawl. We notified VRBO and the owner, and the owner’s response was this is just what happens on an island. (This was my eighth trip to Hawaii and I have not encountered traps and as many) They were friendly though, and texted the next morning, but I did not receive any further communication after I responded. Additionally, the AC is marginally capable of providing comfort. These are all comfort issues for us, and may not be an issue for others while on vacation. As I said, the condo overall is a good value, just be fully aware there will be a give and take.
