We had three couples in our group and this house was perfect! Everything was clean and the house had everything we needed. The kitchen was well-stocked. The outdoor shower was helpful for muddy shoes. The views from the lanai were amazing - complete with roosters and rainbows!! Great location in Princeville - close to Hanelei Bay, short walk to Queens Bath trailhead and Hideaways Beach trailhead.

Fantastic experience - one of the nicest, most well-appointed rental homes we’ve ever stayed in. Specifically the kitchen had everything you could possibly want or need and we had a professional chef in our group. There were also plenty of beach toys, snorkeling equipment, beach chairs and towels. We had a wonderful time.

Our only recommendation is that a foam pillow top would go a long ways on the beds. The property was amazing, location and views were gorgeous. Check in was a slight pain, not due to property owner/management company. But the states mandate at the time. You won’t be sorry, it is amazing!!!

Our stay here at Half Moon Hana was incredible. Close to stores, food etc.. in Princeville and Hanalei! The home had every amenity of our own homes! The only thing we didn’t use was the bbq, because the local food was so good, we ate out most if not all the time. All in all, I would give it a 10/10! Thank you for letting us bet a part of your Ohana and sharing your Island with us! Absolutely beautiful!!!!!

Excellent house, perfect for our vacation. You can’t best this location, beautiful sunsets, water view from golf course and overlooks Queens Bath. Management company was extremely responsive and resolved our one issue quickly. Will definitely return to this house.

We loved our stay at this beautiful home. The house was very clean and in a gorgeous location on Kauai. It felt like a home away from home with its lovely kitchen and relaxing family room and patio. The owner provides many household amenities and items for fun beach outings. Having a washer and dryer was a definite plus. It is situated on a resort style golf course and within close proximity to the ocean and mountains. The views are spectacular. The area offers scenic drives, beaches and small towns along the northern coast. Heading to other areas on the island to see waterfalls, small towns and the awe inspiring Waimea Canyon were within reasonable day trip driving distance. I recommend stopping for groceries while in the south end of the island as stores in the north are limited and expensive. Our stay at this home was like experiencing a bit of paradise. We hope to return in the future!

This property is the perfect setting to kick back and relax worry free. Plenty of room for 6 adults. Very roomy and comfortable living spaces. Awesome bedrooms and baths. Being on the 6th fairway with an ocean view is a great plus, especially for outdoor dining.

Stayed here with our family of 5. 3 Adult children and my wife and I. Loved this place because:
1) Close proximity to St. Regis Hotel. Used their Spa/Workout facility daily. Despite it’s $65/day fee it was well worth it.
2) Walked every morning to Foodland to pick up provisions for that day’s meals. Don’t forget to bring your own carry out bags. Hawaii charges everyone a fee, although nominal(15 cents) per bag, it’s the principal of conservation.
3) We love to cook and this place has EVERYTHING for that. Unlike other VRBO’s we did not have to search far for cooking utensils nor dinner ware. All appliances are up to date and working. Gas grill on lanai is good.
4). It looks like they recently remodeled the home. Found things in the garage that shows it. Also found in the garage an abundance of flies. Could not find the source but we used the outside garage door entrance because when we used the home door entrance they would quickly fill the home. Fly swatting in the home was an added activity.
5). Proximity to Hanalei town is 2 miles. We could not go past there because of recent rains in April 2018 the road has been washed out. Unable to get to Tunnels Beach or the Kalalau Trailhead. Heard it might take a couple of years to rebuild the road.
Will definitely be back here. It’s on the 6th hole of Makai GC. My wife and daughter in law filled our drinks after we teed off from the tee box. Beautiful views of the mountain range and the ocean from the lanai. Well worth the $$ for our family.

We stayed at Half Moon Hana for our 10 year anniversary. My wife and I have never stayed in a vacation destination this incredible. The home was extremely spacious and right on the ocean with vistas of the sunset on the water as well as the lush mountain bluffs. All the amenities and furnishings were updated and modern, including the home having central air conditioning, a luxurious jacuzzi tub in the master bath, and large walk-in showers. Literally every room has a massive flat screen TV with cable, Netflix, and the home also has a Blu-ray player. You’re minutes from secluded white sand beaches and you’re right on the golf course. Renewing our vows couldn’t have been more magnificent or romantic.

We loved the open concept. Great Master bedroom with walk in shower and a Jacuzzi spa. Spectacular views, both mountain and ocean. House is on the 6th fairway of the incredible Makai Golf Course. A short walk to see incredible sun sets over Bali Hai and Hanalei Bay. House sits just above the famous Queen's Bath. It takes only 15 minutes to walk to this beautiful swimming hole.
Central air conditioning was a nice thing to come home to after a day on the beach. Most days we were able to open all the windows and get an incredible cross breeze thru the house.

We thoroughly enjoyed the location of this home with views of the ocean and mountain waterfalls and sunset. It is a short walk right off the patio, down the fairway to see Hanalei Bay, Bali Hai and Queens Bath. This home also has been recently updated throughout and boasts gorgeous marble floors and artisan glass tile work. We also were very secure with this home because it has central air conditioning— not many rental homes have central air. Beautiful home with close walking distance to the beach and the St. Regis and Queens Bath. Highly Recommended!!

My husband and I were celebrating our honeymoon! It was the PERFECT place for us. The house is a great size, very roomy! Although it was just the two of us, there could have been a lot more people there to stay! The decor makes the feel of the house very calming and relaxing, perfect after days at the beach (which you can see out of the window from the backside of the house) hikes, excursions and other fun activities! Not to mention it’s on a golf course, looking at the mountains to the left and the ocean to the right. I feel the location was beautiful and a great stomping ground! My husband and I will definitely be coming back!

My family loved our stay at the Half Moon Hana! The location is right on Makai Golf Course for easy access to picturesque links and we loved having drinks on the lanai overlooking the course with the Pacific Ocean in the background. The open concept of the living room and kitchen allowed everyone to hang out with Grandma while she cooked and the high ceilings were a nice touch. Great location in Princeville and we will definitely be back. Highly recommended.
