I stayed at the Eldorado the last time I was in Maui 15 years ago. This is the first time I’ve used VRBO and stayed in this particular unit. It did not disappoint! I came by myself and felt completely safe and at ease. The bed was really comfortable, all appliances worked and very clean! Definitely will come back if time and money allow.

We absolutely loved this place and all of its amenities. It’s within 5 min walking distance to the beach, great fitness center, pool, close to whalers village (restaurants/shops). Hosts were very nice and responsive and we certainly appreciated the Hawaiian coffee and chocolates when we arrived :) Would definitely recommend!

My husband and I stayed 7 days. Everything about our stay was awesome! The bed was so comfortable! Unit J115 was very private, good location! They had so many things you could use if needed such as chairs for the beach, bug spray, sunscreen, etc. The use of the washer and dryer was so helpful for our week long stay! It is a short walk to the beach. We had an issue with low pressure on the shower but we messaged the owners and they immediately responded. They sent someone over to fix it right away!! Just a clogged shower head. I could go on and on. The place was spotless, one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed. Definitely stay here! You won’t regret it!

This place was AMAZING. We can't say enough about how it was absolutely perfect. How close it was to the beach, shops, and resorts. Everything that we needed for a wonderful beach day was there. We will definitely be back and this might have to be our go to place forever. All of our friends who stayed at the near by resorts were all jealous of this place. Was just perfect home away from home.

Everything was perfect. The fact that it has a full kitchen really helped. There were all the amenities of home such as ziplock bags, toiletries, a first aid kit, sewing kit, cooler, umbrella, beach chairs. The location allowed walking to two different beaches and stores. Could not have asked for anything better.

Absolutely perfect! These photos don’t lie - the condo looks exactly like it in person! We found this condo to be very well equipped and maintained. The bed and bedding were very comfortable and the location was perfect. The pools were never too crowded and the big one was perfect for kids. The location of the condo on the property made it very accessible: just a short walk to parking, the gym, the main pool and the beach. If you want to have a luau experience, recommend going to the one at the Sheraton - it is just a quick walk.
Overall, fabulous hosts and beautiful condo. Thank you for helping us make some great Maui memories. Mohalo!

Had another great stay at the Maui Eldorado. Unit was very clean, bed was comfortable and kitchen was nicely equipped. The space has a calming decor and did it feel too cramped for three of us. Had everything we needed another than maybe some beach toys or boogie boards. This wasn’t an issue for us but just a heads up in case you want to bring your own.

This is our second stay at the ME. We were in G building previously. We enjoyed the J building. The studio is very nicely updated with all you might need. Only comment is the lanai borders the walkway to the beach with lots of foot traffic. Its is also very close to the parking garage so you do hear some noise. Overall a very nice unit.

Maui was awesome and a big part of that was because of this rental (and the rental adjacent for my in-laws). We had our own space and bathrooms (very important), and space was clean and had everything you could think of — like a home away from home. Highly recommend!

Pros:
-condo has most everything you need: 2 beach chairs, umbrella, beach mats, etc
-well located within walking distance to Mays beach and Whaler’s village
-beach clubhouse, workout facilities, pools onsite
-condo clean and well-kept with a nice kitchen, bathroom, and in-unit washer/dryer
Cons:
-shampoo/conditioner/body wash was not stocked in shower containers
-corner lamp bulb was out
-sweeping sand/trash takeout/dishwasher start done by guests
Overall a great stay and would recommend. A few things guests should be aware of: location of condo is great, but there is not direct access to the Kaanapali beach walk. If you’d like to get to Kaanapali beach, you have to walk through the Sheraton (which technically isn’t allowed by the Sheraton) or all the way down to whalers village. Just something to be aware of. The condo also has some hefty fees. Approximately $400 on the front end of booking, and another $132 when we checked in (for use of facilities etc). For us, the condo was one of the only places we could find within our budget but next time we will probably plan further in advance and book at a hotel where more amenities are simply included on the front end of the price and where no cleaning is required of guests.

We had such a wonderful stay. The condo was so cute and clean, definitely updated! The grounds were beautiful and it was an easy walk to the beach, the cabana is amazing, and getting to Whaler‘s Village or just around Kaanapali was easy. Usually we stay in a hotel right on the main strip of Kaanapali Beach but the El Dorado did not disappoint and we will be staying here again. The hosts Julie and Curtice were amazing and responsive thank you so much!

We were blown away by our stay here in this unit. The pictures don't do this condo justice; it's beautiful, perfectly appointed with everything you could need, and very lovingly maintained. Worth every penny. We traveled with our young children and it was very comfortable for us all staying together in a studio setting. The couch bed was very comfortable (a rarity) and the king bed felt luxurious. Cold AC, fans that circulate the air properly, all the cooking utensils you would need for a gourmet meal preparation. We utilized the very large bathroom vanity as a dresser for our children's clothing and had room to spare for a 5 day-stay. The closet is very spacious and the entire layout of the condo is well done. We were so pleased to find beach supplies and pool toys available for us and we made use of everything. Perfectly located in Lahaina amongst other resorts, easy to walk to every ammenity. We will absolutely be staying here again. Julie and Curtis were so accommodating with questions I had before our visit and were very quick to respond. Check in was a breeze and now we are just counting down to our next stay. Thank you for such a lovely vacation spot - MAHALO!

Thoughtfully renovated condo that suit our needs perfectly. What is pictured in the listing is 100% what you get! Golf cart ride to the beach cabana is a nice option, but we didn’t need it as we enjoyed the beautiful, short walk to the beach. The kids loved the swimming pool and hot tub. There’s a little cafe in the lobby that we didn’t get a chance to try (closed on Sunday). Fun seeing little geckos roaming around on the property grounds. Definitely recommend!

I stayed here with my husband and six year old. It was great. The unit is clean and conveniently located for day trips. We really enjoyed sitting on the lanai in the mornings. Access to the pools and beach bungalow were also great amenities. The property owners were very responsive to a check-in miscommunication. We would stay here again and recommend it to friends.

We had a great experience with this rental from start to finish. It looks exactly like the photos. We have stayed in other units at the Maui Eldorado before, and this was the best by far. The location of the property is perfect in Kā’anapali in my opinion, without the crowds that are on the other side of black rock, and the location of the unit is convenient to the pool, parking garage, and one of the closest to the beach. The unit had everything we could have asked for and Curtis and Julie were super quick to respond with any questions we had. I’m in a constant state of longing for my next trip to Maui, and will definitely book J115 again in the future.

This studio was the perfect stay for our time in Hawaii. It was clean, well designed, and had a lot of amenities! Being able to do your own laundry without a shared machine was a real plus. Also, nothing beat the 5 minute walk to the beach!
Keep in mind there is a resort fee that averages us about $25 per day.

We absolutely love this place, and will definitely stay here when we return. It was exceptionally clean, well decorated, comfortable, and had nice extras like a small beach cooler and chairs and an umbrella. The bed and pillows were so comfortable too! The owners were easy to communicate with and the check in was seamless. They complex is pretty and friendly in a mellow and relaxed way, unlike the neighboring hotels that are jammed packed with people all over. We were happy to come back there each evening. The pools were nice too, although we spent most of our time at the incredible beach, a short and easy walk from the unit. There were several grocery stores in close driving distance and a well stocked convenience store, snorkel rental, and even urgent care a short (few minutes) walk away. The parking garage was very easy and convenient as well. We couldn’t be happier with our stay, and look forward to staying in this unit again!

We have stayed at multiple condos in Hawaii and Maui and this was hands down the best! I didn't see a single bug- it was spotless! Everything was new and worked perfectly. AC was great. On a golf course next to a beautiful uncrowded beach.

Julie and Curtis’s condo was exceptional in every way. The decor was classy, beachy, and relaxing. The bed and furniture of high quality and very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with good quality plates , glasses, etc and not cheap/worn stuff you may expect t in a rental. The bathroom was large and the shower very spacious with great pressure. They even had high quality shampoo soap and conditioner which smelled great.
The location of the condo was pretty great as well it’s probably 7 minutes to the center of Lahaina town which we visited daily. It’s situated on lush grounds by a golf course and is a short walk - or even a shorter complimentary golf cart ride - to the beach. There is no ocean view from the condo but….the BEST feature about the rental Is the beachside cabana for residents/guests within the condo complex.
This cabana has two main rooms, shared fridge space, complimentary towels & beach chairs, bathrooms, and an outdoor shower to remove sand. Even at an Oceanside hotel having lunch at the beach can be a pain but here just pack your lunch with you and keep it in the cabana. There’s plenty of seating in the shade either in the cabana or in the beach under nearby trees. The beach itself is great - we spent hours lounging and scanning the horizon for whales while taking in views of Lanai and Molokai in the distance. Just a short walk to the north and you’re on a pretty decent snorkeling spot with some live coral and plenty of fish. And finally you’re easy walking distance to the fairway shops which has a general store, snorkel rental place, some restaurants, etc.
If/when we come back to Maui we will do everything we can to rent this unit again. Mahalo for such a wonderful accommodation!!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful condo in Maui. This was the main portion of our stay in Maui for the week. They were very accommodating when we had a scheduling conflict but it ended up working itself out. My husband loved the very cold A/C and fans to sleep well. The bed was super comfortable and the condo was equipped with all the gear and amenities we needed to make breakfast, pack lunch, and head to the beach. The parking garage was right by the condo so it made for easy access to our vehicle and also the pool. We walked to Whalers village many times and to dinner from the condo. The only two very minor downsides was not having additional blankets for freezing wife’s like me and also impossible to get a morning workout slot at the gym due to Covid. We went to the beach cabana many days and on the last day went to the other side of black rock where the major resorts are and while it was beautiful and great for snorkeling, it was so packed with people. We loved the quietness at the beach cabana right on the property for guests and the oceanfront property there.

Really enjoyed our pre-wedding stay at this location! It was within walking distance of Whaler Village and the Kaanapli resorts (where our friends were staying) and a nice peaceful spot to return to. The studio was nicely appointed, big fridge, even had tableware set out for us if needed and all the towels you could want for both bath and beach. I liked that it was quite a long unit and the sitting area came in handy when our family stopped by. Our hosts even gave us a box of macadamia nut chocolates which was so thoughtful! Check-in after hours was a little tricky - you have to call security and can't get a card until the morning after, but the office was open early and worked out. Overall a great stay!

This has been the best vacation rental I’ve ever lived in. The property looked beautiful and just the way advertised in the listings with very meticulous attention to every little detail. There was nothing we wanted for our beach days or other adventures that we didn’t find in the condo. We booked this place for our honeymoon and we couldn’t have been happier with our decision to skip the touristy hotels and stay at this place instead. Julie and Curtis were great hosts :)

Your not right on the beach, about 250 yards back between the Sheraton, royal laheina and golf course, but you can call the front desk and I never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a limo golf cart to pick me up and take me to the cabana, the private beach clubhouse with fridge, beach chairs and beach towels. It’s nice not having to lug beach chairs and towels, just bring your drinks and any other food, put in the fridge and enjoy cold drinks at your convenience, bake in the sun and that warm salty beautiful ocean!! Room was great also, roomy, great bed and open door shower plus kit and all the amenities!!!

We had such a great time staying in Julia and Curtis's unit, j115. It was convinently located close to the beach (few minutes walk). Loved that chairs, an umbrella and a cooler were provided for us to take with us to the beach.

This place is just wonderful and it’s way beyond our expectations! The room is newly designed, clean, spacious, comfortable and everything has been sanitized. They provide everything which makes you feel you just love there and enjoy daily life. The location is really really convenient. It’s close to the parking lot, the new constructed pool and the beach. The mall is just the walking distance. The fact that the place is in the golf club makes the view fantastic. The hosts are really really nice! It’s hard not to fall in love with Maui, and this location made it all the better. The privacy of a condo, but the location and convenience of a hotel. You’ll be within walking distance of the beach, small coffee shops, whalers village and more for lunch and dinner. Truly a deal.
The hosts were so delightful and kind with a wonderful little welcome package that we thoroughly enjoyed (we also spent most of our shopping time trying to find that coffee ;) )
10/10 would stay again.
