It's a 5 minute walk to the Waikiki coast and 10 minutes to the Royal Hawaiian Center, so it's in a great location. I could see a beautiful park right from my room window and it was very quiet which was great. It was also very convenient that there was a parking lot inside the building.However, a total of 4 cockroaches appeared in the room during my stay. We got rid of two of them, but the other two hid somewhere. We was worried that cockroaches would come out when we used the bathroom or when we slept at night.Then, on our last morning, while we were packing our things into suitcases, water started dripping from the ceiling and soaking the bed. I immediately caught it with two bowls in the kitchen, but the bed was already wet.Last but not least, we were very happy that there were beach chairs and beach umbrellas provided, but some of them were broken and were useless even if I took them to the beach.Overall, the room was very convenient, but not the most comfortable. I think the room managers need to maintain better hygiene and perform detailed maintenance properly.

This is a great property that I would highly recommend. The room was plenty big enough for the 5 of us, and it was spotless. The location was wonderful also. The beach on the other side of DeRussey is so nice and big with lots of amenities.
Two things I would change - 1. the TV is in a weird spot, so it's hard to see from bed. Also the remote only worked some of the time. 2. the showerhead is too low, only shoots straight out, and is too close to the back wall. It's definitely not a deal-breaker, but I think it would be easy to fix.

This was a great place to stay in Waikiki. It was a little tight for a family if 5, but was so convenient to everything we wanted to do. The parking spot was clutch and the unit had everything we needed. Thanks fir a great stay!

Nice location close to green space/ DeRussy park. Short walk to the beach. Property manager very responsive . Big studio space with nice kitchen. Chairs and umbrella provided which was a plus. Great to have a parking space.
My only complaints are the upper windows need some sort of blinds on them because the bright light shines in early in the morning makes it hard to sleep late. Also, it would have been nice to have some sort of balcony. I didn’t realize when I booked that there was no balcony.
Also, since this was a VRBO, the hotel was not at all helpful.
They constantly said we cannot give you anything you need to contact your VRBO. It would be nice to have a little more help from the front desk or have it explained to us ahead of time that they will not help you. There were activities posted for the hotel guests like lei making that we could not join, movie rentals that we could not access, free wine/ cheese bar with music that we could not join etc.
I feel like the hotel and VRBO should have a better relationship or at the least this should be made very clear to us before staying there.

This beautiful condo was spacious and had lots of great amenities, especially in the kitchen which was very helpful. The in-unit washer & dryer was very convenient. Beds were clean and comfortable. There was some hair on the shower wall, but the rest of the unit seemed clean so maybe housekeeping just missed it… but wanted to point it out to make sure they do a more thorough job for future guests.
Located in the gorgeous Luana Waikiki hotel, within walking distance to Waikiki Beach and many great shops and restaurants. Getting into the property is one-way at a time, which made getting in tricky at first as the hotel was very busy when we arrived, but other than that it was easy and having our own designated parking spot was great.
Communication was excellent and we’d highly recommend this place!

Very spacious, clean, and easy to access to Waikiki. We traveled with our 2 young kids, 3 and 6, and were able to walk all over Waikiki as most things were 10-15 minutes away. Love that the parking was included and has very easy access to the room by just an elevator or one flight of stairs.
The room is super clean, the building is quiet, and the accommodations are comfortable. The appliances are top-notch, we used the washer/dryer about 3 times in our week-long stay, and kitchen is spacious and stocked well.
If I could comment on things to improve, it would be two things. 1. there are glass partitions between the dining table and room where we all stubbed our toes against. 2. There is a large wooden table on the side with shells on it, and the table has wooden logs sticking out (although rounded). It's a slight hazard for small children but looks really cool.

We enjoyed the space. There were 5 of us and it was cozy but we fit fine. The kitchen had just enough to cook everything we wanted. I used the electric grill to make banana macadamia nut pancakes and crepes. So yummy. The interior of the lobby of the building was nice! The activities they provided were a bonus. Everyone who worked there was super nice and that was huge for me. The free parking was definitely appreciated because we rented a vehicle that we used every day to tour the North Shore! Sooo glad there was a washer & dryer. I came home from vacation with clean laundry. And we left the extra laundry soap we bought there because we used all of the soap they provided and we needed more with laundry for 5 people lol. I loved the low level unit and the ease to get there from the parking. The view was lacking, but if you have small children and don’t want that high rise building… this is best. No high rise for me…. Was not my issue this time but… 18 years ago when my twins were two years old, looking down 11 stories was giving me an anxiety attack and I made the maintenance guy put a child lock on the door. Fast forward to now and I preferred no view over that anxiety any day 😊 so this 2nd level was just fine for me. Great location for kids. The building felt very safe. A few homeless people in the park next door but there were constantly people walking around so it made me feel safe. Yes there are homeless people but a block in each direction had wonderful shopping and seems really close once you get out and walk around. When you exit the building and walk to the right that was a more favorable location for us. But don’t miss the shopping in Hilton Hawaiian Village as well. I think it was about an 8 minute walk from here. Just the next long block up. But to the right was the high end shopping like Christian Dior & Louis Vuitton just the next block or two to the right. Great restaurants that direction too! The beach was about a 10 minute walk but you get to walk through fabulous shops on the way so it made this location much more desirable. All restaurants and shopping including convenience stores are within walking distance so you will not need a car to get around. You only need a car if you plan to drive to the other side of the island. We went Ziplining on the North Shore and it was definitely about a 45 minute drive. We rented a Tesla and did not like the distance to the supercharging station. Rate 4.7 star overall stay!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It was a tad far from Waikiki to walk. We did have an issue with the parking in that an employee at the hotel was using our parking space. After speaking to several people, the problem was rectified. The pool and the gym were good. This was a suite with lots of room but there were no balcony.

Wow! We travel to Hawaii every three years and this place was amazing. The location is convenient and having a parking spot was the best! Love the modern Hawaiian decor and they included everything needed for a perfect vacation-beach towels, chairs, top notch appliances, washer dryer, and air condition. We enjoyed the cute cafe, Fish Hook, for breakfast and lunch. The pool was dreamy. Thank you for a wonderful vacation. We can’t wait to come back.

The room is just as advertised. It is clean and the location is great but if I had a friend checking in, I would tell them 3 things…
1. The lockbox key- the boxes are not in numerical order like they look. The ones with M are on the far right.
2. Beware of the washing machine. We put a small load in for the first time and came back to water on the floor. I want to say I didn’t close the door tight, but if that is true, how did it still run. Just be aware.
3. There is a gym above this room. The first night we heard some banging around 5am but just rolled with it. Sometime places get loud. The sending night, it was repeated slamming on the ceiling. I went to investigate and found the gym and a woman working out slamming a medicine ball. I called the property manager (he was very nice) and he said he would talk to someone. The next morning was better. I don’t know if that was chance or the locked down the gym till after I woke up. Either way, I can see this design issue causing others to wake up early too. I doubt they are closing the gym till a reasonable time to wake up on vacation.
The property manager was very nice through the washer and noise issue and the place was as nice and clean as it comes.

The Luana was only 2-3 blocks from the Waikiki shopping strip that it was very convenient to walk to the Waikiki shopping strip and Waikiki beaches. The studio had nice queen sized mattresses, and the washer and dryer in the unit were a plus. We had a rental car, and we had a reserved parking lot at the Luana which was very convenient, and it was included with the rental. We enjoyed the cleanliness of the Studio and would definitely stay here again when we visit Waikiki again. Highly recommend this spacious studio to others who like to get a rental for a reasonable price. And the location is also great!

The pictures really doesn’t do this suite justice. It’s a very spacious room! One of the main reasons I booked this was because it was one of a few places that had double queen beds. Our party had 4 adults and a 2 y/o and it was perfect! Loved that we had a washer & dryer in the unit and a full fridge with a freezer. The kitchen appliances are A1 (Smeg, Breville, etc.)- even had a rice cooker which was perfect for us since we ate poke daily. Check in and check out we’re seamless and really appreciated speaking with James. The only thing that was bothersome was that we were told we were assigned either parking space 13/14 and valet or hotel employees would park cars there every other day, but valet eventually caught on and would run to either move the car in our spot or happily give us another (and we rented a huge mini van). Parking garage may seem a bit tight because of the other cars parked by valet, but the location was perfect. We usually try to avoid Waikiki because of how expensive parking can be, but when it’s included in our stay, it’s so nice to be able to stroll around and shop (and have date nights to stumble back without worrying about a DD). 10/10 would recommend.

Very nice property and experience. A short 10 min walk to the beach (Ft. Derussy). Ft. Derussy beach definitely seemed nicer/cleaner than Waikiki from our experience. The beach chairs were very helpful as were the provided towels. On site parking was a huge plus with easy in and out priveleges to explore. Room was well appointed and very large with anything you might need to cook your own food to save some money or if you just get tired of eating out/or are too tired at the end of the day at the beach. Close enought to walk to pretty much anything you want/need. As others have mentioned, you do hear folks working out or dropping weights above you at times, as early as 5 AM. However, we were up and going by then due to the time difference, most of the time, so didn't really impact us except maybe one day.

Visiting our old stomping grounds. My wife and I used to live in Honolulu and we decided to take the kids back and see some of the old sites and do some of the things we used to do. The property was very roomy provided ample space for us to sleep eat and relax in the midday if we got tired. The parking stall was excellent and that we didn’t have to worry about finding parking in Waikiki. We were able to use a rental car and travel around and see all the old places we used to hang out in when we lived in Honolulu. Excellent location to cruise Waikiki or as a start up point to tour the island. Would highly recommend.

This property is super easy to get to. It’s far enough from the beach to be quiet and laid back but close enough to be able to walk to the beach, great food options, etc. The beds were very comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bathroom had a shower and very spacious bathtub. The space was nicely decorated. The owner even has some beach gear for guests in the closet. Great place for a great price.

Nicely decorated, clean, and just within the borders of Waikiki. Property manager was friendly and responded timely. Although it sleep 5, it's better suited for 4 people. The sofa bed is ok but its not a comfortable bed for an adult. The washer and drier was small and sufficient but if you have a large family ... washing bath or beach towels will add extra loads.
There was a water leak under the kitchen sink during our stay, the property manager addressed the issue timely but unfortunately the contractor failed to fix it the first time.
My only small complaint would be that the cleaning crew did not clean out the dryer's lint filter. Our laundry took longer to dry because of a dirty lint filter. I chose to clean it the filter myself because it was quicker then to contact the property manager. It was no big deal.
