Damage & House Rules Policy / Guest Responsibilities.
We inspect every condo at every check out. We again inspect every condo before every Guest Arrival.
We have documentation for each condo to assure the condo is good condition and working order before your arrival.
1) Guest is responsible to pay for any missing/broken/damaged items, extra check out cleaning & for a drain or toilet that requires clearing due to Guest clogging the drain or toilet. Every condo has a plunger for the toilet. If you clog the toilet, please use the plunger provided. Calling a Plumber is a Guest Expense. 2) Do not use the Kitchen Sink Garbage disposal for potato peels, fruit rinds, banana peels, pineapples, egg shells, noodles, rice etc. Calling a Plumber is a Guest Expense. 3) Sand: Please rinse off all sand (self and gear) before entering the hotel/condo (there are rinsing stations at the beach) to avoid extra cleaning fee and clogging the shower drains. 4) Lanai: Please do not hang towels or other items from the lanai. Please do not feed the birds. 5) No smoking in condo, on lanai or in common areas. Guest charged to have upholstery, drapes and linens cleaned, deodorized. 6) Guest responsible to pay for locksmith if they lock themselves out the of the bathrooms or damage a lock.
CANCELLATIONS:
1) Reservation deposit is non-refundable. 2) Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the check in date can have the deposit applied to another stay at the same condo within one year of the original check in date. 3) Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to check in will forfeit deposit. 4) Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to check in will forfeit deposit and rental balance payment. 5) We strongly encourage you to get travel insurance so a cancellation can be recovered.

The condo was clean, marina and view of city lights at night was very nice. It was quiet and many food options and beach is very close along with lagoon for calm waters. I would recommend this condo and would stay there again.

Vacationed at the Ilikai Hotel & Condo's 4 times in past 4 years. First time in unit 1904. Excellent location, million dollar view, nicely decorated with Hawaiian theme, no issues with shower etc (see other reviews), responsive property manager. Only downside is the condo could use a REALLY deep clean to clear grimey-dust in closets, clock, shower vent, and most surfaces, and under the bed, versus a quick wipe. It could also use some TLC and fresh paint (walls were really marked and dinged, and some water stains). Some decent and comfortable lanai furniture couldn't hurt either! It advertises a landline for local and LD calls, but we couldn't find the phone - please let me know if you do! Other than those issues, a great time. The Ilikai itself always delivers.

Can’t beat the view and easy of accessing the unit. Located at the end of Waikiki, it was easy to get to. Digital key pad access made it easy since we didnt have to worry about a key when we went to the beach and go swimming. The sliding door to the lanai needs a little trace work. Everything else was great!

Comfortable bed and nicely equipped kitchen. Clean and bright. Beautiful view.
Docked one point: Bathroom (especially shower) needs updating. We could have used more towels (both beach and bath).
Building is nicely maintained. Fast elevators, easy to dispose of trash, helpful bell desk, great breakfast restaurant. Conveniently located.

This unit is nicely furnished, clean and has a full ocean view. The unit is on the 19th floor so we didn't have the elevator issues noted by others who rented lower floor units. The downside of the full ocean view is that the unit's lanai is very very hot and gets no trade wind breeze--but great sunsets. It should be noted there is no divide between bedroom alcove and the living area--which may be a concern if one person goes to bed before the other. (Note: Most units I have been in like this have a movable divide.) Overall I would rate this unit a very good deal for the price.

We had the best holiday here. We loved the location, used the pool and thought our overall experience here was fantastic. The condo was great - no faults at all. We did 15 days & 3 Island’s from Australia and this was one of our favourite stays.
