Inside was great, well stocked and clean. Location was walking distance to anything for us. We did rent a car, so we could visit other parts of the island, so the included parking was a huge plus! Mark was incredibly helpful and responsive, even for little things and quick questions. 100% recommend!

I can't say enough good things about this place. The location to the beach and city amenities was perfect. Having a parking pass for our rental car was a huge bonus. The location is so great, we were able to drive around and see so much of the island, while every day being able to come back and walk down to Waikiki beach within minutes. My family can't wait to go back, I would stay in this condo again for sure. I wouldn't even bother looking at other places to be honest, no point.

It was a nice place. We enjoyed the stay there and the place was really nice. However it was noisy. We heard people talking loud in the street, drunks yelling at 3am, sirens blaring all day and night.

Your unit was warm and inviting it had a homey feel. Lots of linen, full size frig. and stove. View of beach from every window. We saw they had something for everyone, kids beach toys and swimming accessories also beach chairs The bed was comfortable but waking up at dawn with a rooster crowing I was not expecting(ha, ha). They also had a large pool with Bar B Ques and a play area for children. Loved It!!

We would stay here again. The beach is a short walk away. The unit was well equipped and clean. However, the carpets and rugs could use a good cleaning or even replaced. The bed was very comfortable. The easy and free parking was definitely appreciated. We enjoyed the balcony and beach chairs.

Spent just over a week. The unit is comfortable & everything works. Nice balcony to sit outside for coffee or cocktails. SUPER comfy bed! Many times the bed can be a let down but the bed was terrific. Mark was helpful & responsive to our questions. Would definitely stay here again

Perfect location easy to find things nearby, bonus if there’s a bike shop a block away- easy to rent a e-bike and get around. Had an issue with that water control in the shower but they came and fixed it within an hour.

Our family consisted of my husband and I and our almost five year old son. The pull out bed was great for the kiddo but would probably be uncomfortable for a larger teen/adult. Otherwise everything was as advertised - the kitchen was stocked with dishes and cookware, and some spices. We spent a good amount of time on the balcony and enjoyed the view of the water, boats, and surfers. There are some beach things stored there - chairs, straw beach mats, and beach toys. The walk to the beach is quick - we loved being a block away from the water, restaurants, and entertainment. The zoo is also within walking distance and we spent a few hours there during one day of our visit. Diamond head crater is a 15 minute drive and so worth the visit! We will definitely look at booking this property again.

Not sure whether to brag about how convenient this location is or the view. Being beachside isn't in my price range, so a block away is just perfect. It's clean, basic, spacious, no wait on the hot water, bed is decent. Can't hear other tenants, but you may occasionally hear the street-the payoff for being so convenient. Maybe bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Fully functional kitchen with excellent view of the Pacific. Would stay here again.

The listing was very accurate, with superb directions for checking in, parking, and dealing with issues. The apartment itself was a nice corner unit. Plus, there were beach towels for use and a few small beach accessories which came in handy! Cleanliness could be improved- cups and dishes had to be cleaned before use and the pull-out couch blanket was dirty. I think the carpet could use a good steam clean. Regardless, we would stay here again as this vrbo offered a great value and location for the price! Plus, the host was attentive. Thank you, Mark.

Unit is well kept up and stocked.. Property manager has done an excellent job setting it up, and communicating with us. Suggestions: Fix the sliding doors. The inability to move easily detracts from things done right. The A:C is noisy and opening the outside doors allow street noise to override television. Ceiling fans would be an improvement. All in all we enjoyed our visit. As we have rented many other Banyanunits this is one of the best. Cheers

While the property was clean and in a great location; actually dealing with the host was terrible. We were staying here for a week. We were only given two rolls of toilet paper and there was no extra amenities in the property we could use if we ran out of anything. We went to the front desk and asked if they had and toilet paper we could use and they asked if we were staying with them and they wouldn’t give it to us, since we weren’t staying with them and we would need to get ahold of the host, which we never could. We also had issues with the TV’s. We couldn’t get them to work and we called the Host and they stated that they weren’t on the property and would call us. A few days passed and nobody reached out to help with the TV’s. They also asked if we could take the trash out, but we were given no trash bags.

Myself, my husband and 17yr old son stayed in Mark's apartment for 11 nights in September 2022. What am amazing apartment it is! Super roomy, well furnished, awesome views and perfect location. Situated at the Honolulu zoo end of Waikiki, the Banyan is a little quieter than other places to stay and this suited us really well. The apartment came with a carpark which saved us money and made having our own vehicle really convenient. We spend many hours poolside which although is a little small was never overly crowded. I would thoroughly recommend people stay at this apartment and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Communication and instructions from Mark were prompt and easy to follow.

The condo in the Waikiki Banyan was EXTREMELY clean! The rooms were well appointed and everything we needed was in the condo. ABC store nearby for quick groceries too. The parking garage was attended and felt safe for our rental car. The building is old, but that did not transfer into this condo at all. The pool and hot tub were fine, just regular but good. My family and I spent just 3 nights in Waikiki after 12 nights in Maui relaxing and doing beach and snorkel things. We were going to be very busy in Oahu with different activities and this was the perfect location for a home base, and with free parking! My boys were able to walk to the surf shop (shout out to Moku Surf on O'hua!) for their lessons and board rental, and it felt like a safe area even returning 9-10pm. The condo had a few floats and boogie boards also, and was about a block from the beach. I highly recommend this condo for someone wanting to stay in Waikiki.

Very easy check-in and communication with the owners. Unit had everything we needed. Even though it's on the 12th floor, road noise was still pretty loud, even with all the windows closed. The hotel had a nice outdoor pool, hot tub and kids area on floor 6. Nice little breakfast spot in the lobby.

There was a group of us for a soccer tournament so worked well all to be in the same building and be able to gather on the common bbq patio area. Short walk to beach and all amenities. Some plastic glassware and dish ware for the unit would be great since you are not allowed to have glass at bbq/pool area.

the owner of the condo needs to improve some things, for example, replace the mattress on the couch, it is terribly squeezed, it is impossible to sleep on it!!! Add towels for the beach, there are only 3 of them.

Great location just a block drom the beach. Having free parking with stay was a bonus. This particular was clean and well stocked with kitchen ware, appliances, and towels. Unwinding in one of the 2 hot tubs was great and de-stressing. Just about anything you could want was within walking distance....shopping and dining. We plan on staying at this location again in the near future. And yes, Oahu is a nice change from Maui with more activities, food selection, and shopping.

Have stayed in this building quite a few times. This unit was as described and we had a comfortable stay. It included beach towels and gear/chairs (didn’t use). The unit faces intersection of Kuhio/Ohua, so there’s traffic noise. Couple of items: on several different stays, this one included, we’ve encountered people smoking in nearby units and the smell flows into the unit when the slider is open. It’s supposed to be non-smoking, but have heard that residents are allowed??? Property/building managers should address this so everyone can enjoy the Hawaiian air, especially for those with allergies. The other item was on the last nite, we encountered a ‘B52’ roach. I realize we’re in HI and it happens, however, perhaps the building maintenance needs to be aware. Also, Instructions should include that door needs to be locked upon exit (won’t be locked if just shut door). One last minor item, there were no extra trash bags for the kitchen trash can, but we managed. Overall, we had a good stay.

The goods: location, location, location, parking, spacious corner unit, ocean views from bedroom, kitchen and balcony, parking was easy, friendly staff, did I mention parking? Opportunities for Improvement: Internet was a bit on the slow side, furniture was dated, larger dark stains on the bedroom carpet, water toys were old and boards were cracked so either replace or get rid of it altogether and remove the picture showing they are available. My biggest issue was that there were only 3 beach towels when we indicated there were 4 of us. Again, that is my biggest complaint - not even a complaint just an FYI. Overall, great condo, great value, great responsiveness of mgmt. team, and super close to all cool happenings and the beach. Thank you and we'll be back! I miss it already!
