The pictures don’t lie….this place is beautiful, clean, well stocked and nicely located….it’s walking distance from a nice beach. You can even see a waterfall from the front deck!
The immaculate garage has a multitude of beach/sand chairs, snorkeling gear, numerous boogie boards, quick dry towels, insect repellent, sand toys, a dry bag and 3 bikes….everything you need for a fun day outdoors…..they even have 2 sets of washers/dryers! I packed way too much stuff! The washer took care of all of the wet clothes, towels, etc….once we rinsed off in the outside shower, all the clothes and stuff went in the washer and were ready to wear again the next day.
One of our favorite adventures was renting electric bikes from Biking in Paradise. Sean and his wife Tammy charge about half of what the other rental places charge and they delivered and picked up the bikes right to/from the house. They even gave us some great suggestions on beaches to ride to, places for happy hour and the best location to watch the sunset. Definitely worth checking them out!
I would definitely stay at this house again! We lucked out with the weather but it would be a nice place to hang out if the rain was really coming down. They have a cupboard full of games, books and movies. I seriously can’t think of one thing that I wanted/needed that they didn’t have. Oh, there’s even a good supermarket and deli a quick bike ride (or walk) away.

Beautiful home with plenty of space for families. Lush landscaping and wrap around porch has views of waterfalls in the distance. The garage is stocked with bikes, snorkel, and beach gear. Anini Beach is a 20 minute walk or a short drive away, and the local shopping area with restaurants, shops, and grocery store is a 10 minute walk. The house was very clean. The only small critique would be that one of the bathrooms could use some updating, but it is definitely not a deal breaker. We would definitely book this place again next time we come back to Kauai.

This house was perfect. Plenty of bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and beach chairs and beach towels. The location is good, too. Very close to the grocery store and beaches. If you want to stay on the north shore of Kauai, this is your place.

We had a great family vacation in your beautiful home in Princeville. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 kids. Great neighborhood. Lots of toys in garage. What a wonderful property and beautiful community! This place is gorgeous with four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. Kitchen was huge and fully stocked with all the amenities for cooking for the family. Also has 2 washers and dryers that helped with our family of 7 staying here! Really beautiful large home.

When I initially booked through VRBO, I sorted homes based on 4 bedrooms and 4 baths. This one came up. When we arrived, we had 4 bedrooms, but only 2 1/2 baths. There were six people so we had to share the bathrooms with three people each. Later we discovered in the description that it said it had 2 1/2 baths, but that is not what a sorted on. So the initial information on the home was misleading.
We had three problems with the house. When we first arrived, there was a large puddle of water in the kitchen. We soon discovered that it had been raining alot during the prior week. So we can only surmise that one or both of the skylights in the kitchen leaked.
Our second issue was with hot water. It took forever to get hot water for baths and forget about the dishwasher.
Which brings me to problem three. The dishwasher heating element is not working. So if you tried to do a Sani-Rinse or Heat Dry, it didn't happen.
Now would I rent this home again? ABSOLUTELY! It was a comfortable home well appointed with a large kitchen and plenty of seating throughout. The only difference, I would rent it for four people, not six.

Overall, this property is very beautiful and well maintained. The location is very close to Hanalei, out favorite beach. The only issues were the hot water and internet. The owners recommend that each person takes a 5 minute shower. There were 6 of us staying at this property and the last 3 took cold showers. The internet was a bit on the slower side. Other than these two issues we enjoyed our stay at this property.

The house is amazing and equipped with all the extras. We had boogie boards and beach towels and umbrellas to make our beach days spectacular. There are bikes to ride and a gas grill to use when feeding a large group. The outdoor shower is great for washing off sand. There is ample freezer/ fridge space for all the drinks/food. The house is beautiful and comfortable. Our favorite spot was the deck with the view of the waterfall. Thanks for a lifetime of special memories! Aloha!

The place is solid floor and sound travels like crazy, we had the king master with our kids. I messaged before booking about a pack and play, they said there was one. We couldn't find anything but a play pen so our bedding didn't fit right. It also said on the bag for outdoor use only which was confusing as the other part said indoor use only. We put it in the closet which is the only place it would fit but was awful for noise reasons as it's right next to the other bathroom, laundry room and living room. Not much area outside to play for kids. Also, every top few dishes in the cabinets were dirty like they weren't washed. Also, bring toilet paper, napkins and paper towels as not much is supplied. The shower water pressure was great so there was that. There is also stairs going to the garage which I couldn't tell from the photos- this was an issue with babies as there is nothing to keep kids from falling.

This property is fabulous! Beautiful, well kept house with wonderful outdoor living space and view of the mountains. Also, a nice selection of outdoor amenities for your use (beach towels, boogey boards, beach chairs, etc) Peaceful community in the tropics, we would definitely stay again!

We returned from a week at this beautiful property on March 20, 2022. The home is located close to shopping and to Hanalei Bay, one of the most beautiful places in the islands. The lanai was a great place to gather and the spacious kitchen and BBQ lead to some great meals. They did add air conditioning which was a wonderful and a much appreciated surprise. We didn't want to leave. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home in a great location. Other properties are close by but it still feels private. Great beach amenities. Loved the wrap around porch. Was surprised that twin bedroom was off of the garage but that worked out perfectly for us as we were travelling with my mother in law and sister in law and they were able to stay there and get away from the group a bit. And, they said they didn't hear the roosters as much either!

First, do not hesitate to book this property if you love peace and quiet in a lovely custom home. The Princeville development is dense but quiet, and you can ride the sweet beach cruiser bikes to the local shopping center in less than 5 minutes. The Koa wood and sweet island décor will really help place your heart in the aloha spirit of Kauai's North Shore. Everything you could want out of your North Shore retreat is at your fingertips here.
We happened to visit in an unusually calm November, and the trade winds were just absolutely switched off. No onshore breezes to cool us down, no swells to surf, no Na Pali waves. This accentuated the lack of air conditioning in the house, and we were uncomfortable most afternoons and evenings after being out of the house for the day. You have to button up the house for security when you leave, so by the time you come home the house is sweltering and without a breeze it can be hard to recover the temp inside in time for bed, even with the ample number of floor fans provided. At the relative nightly price (we spent a week in this home back to back with another week on Kauai's south shore in a similar home, with AC, for quite a bit less), a whole-house fan or other method for managing the temps would be a welcome addition. Many reviews do mention the lack of AC as a drawback, but like them I cannot bring myself to deduct a star despite our discomfort, because the hosts are so nice and the home is so sweet. The wraparound lanai alone earns three stars!
This is a lovely base of operations for the full Kauai north shore experience. Central to everything, clean, peaceful and quiet, and well stocked with all kinds of beach amenities. If you're willing to take a bit of extra care with the home due to the beautiful, delicate floors, you will have a fantastic stay here.

Great location. Our favorites were the lanai where we ate almost every day, and the beach chairs and toys. Loved all the windows offering great views of the mountains. There was one night a/c would have been nice, but the fans and windows allowed enough sea breeze to cool us down. Owner super easy to communicate with. Would stay here again.

Lanai was spacious with lots of furniture and private with beautiful plants all around. Good view of the mountains with waterfalls. Needs a little maintenance, but I think the owners are on top of it (saw new fans in the garage readyvto install). Beds were very comfortable.

This was a great choice for a family vacation. The quiet residential area made us feel at home with plenty of space for everyone. The house was very clean and well stocked with kitchen items and outdoor equipment in the garage, including 2 bikes. The two sets of washer/dryer were very useful for our large group. We spent many hours outside on the wrap-around lanai that included amble sitting and dinning furniture. The management was very responsive to our concern that one of the bedroom fans was in need of repair.

This house was great and was the highlight of our stay in Kauai. Plenty of space indoor and out for our family of 8. The house was very spacious and comfortable. Plenty of dishes and utensils for cooking and grilling out. We enjoyed eating out on the porch/patio. We used the bikes and some of the swim gear. Highly recommended!!

My wife and I as well as our two adult children and their spouses stayed here and had a lovely time. The home is perfectly located for access to all the North Shore's treasures. Though we were out and about most of the day, it was a beautiful place to come back to. Exactly as advertised and very clean, which is very important to me. The kitchen had everything we need to prepare meals. Nice bathrooms and beach towels. Ceiling fans in every room. The large wrap-around lanai was my favorite place to relax and barbecue after a full day of adventure. Jeff and Shana were extremely responsive and helpful. Everything was perfect!

I highly recommend this property for anyone who is visiting Kauai. It was the perfect place. Plenty of space for our large family, price was right, the house was super clean and it was located on the best part of the island. I've been to Kauai 3 times now and this was by far the best place I rented. I really hope you consider renting this place on your trip....you won't be disappointed!
