Can’t beat the views and proximity to the beach with this stay. Comfortable accommodations with a well stocked kitchen. Our only initial challenge was from the description for bedroom 2 (two twins “or” a king bed - not “and” as listed), but it worked out fine for us since the couch was a sleeper sofa. We’d stay here again! Kim is a responsive and accommodating host.

This condominium complex has an outstanding location. Being right on the beach and in a prime ‘sunset viewing’ area is wonderful. The unit itself had everything we needed and was quite comfortable. This was our first time to travel to Maui with a toddler and the air conditioning in this unit helped with nap and bed time for her. Our hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with for which we were very thankful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return.

Beautiful condo , so close to beach. First floor with nice patio and tropical plants surrounding walkway. Everything was very nice for a small family. Condo was nicely updated. Pool is small and could not pass with kids. Ocean view is a 10 and the reef there was awesome. Furniture was nice. Well kept. Very classy.

I can’t say enough good things about my family’s recent stay in this beautiful, peaceful condo. It was perfect for us. Not only is it in a wonderfully tranquil setting but also located just steps through a green wonderland of vegetation to a gorgeous, kid friendly beach. The condo was better than advertised!! I can’t wait to stay here again on our next Maui adventure! Thanks again!

The unit is clean and recently refurbished. Appliances are new. Bedrooms and baths are small but adequate. Unit does not have a water view but has a small lanai adjacent to the walkway to the pool and ocean, only a 30 second walk. Conveniently provided were boogie boards , chairs and 2 umbrellas. Snorkel sets would have been nice. With the refurbished unit, the mismatched cups, glasses, and dated living room furniture should have been updated as well.
Tv controls are wonky and we could not get one tv to function at all.
Overall, it is an adequate unit, but more could be offered at this price point

The property is in a great location right on the beach. This unit does not have a view of the ocean, as the lanai is blocked by tropical landscaping, but is just steps away from the beach. Due to some repair work being done as a result of a recent rain storm, the pool was closed during our stay, much to the dismay of our grandson. The beach is beautiful, sea turtles seen nightly resting in a nearby cove. This unit is perfect for 2 couples or a family of 4 or 5.

This was such a great spot. Our girls 8, 5, and 3 years old loved the beach that was steps away from the condo. Just the perfect size for them. Great location in Kihei and close to everything.

What an awesome stay! Kim was a quick to write back before and during our stay. The place is immaculately clean and very well stocked with everything we needed - including paper products, things for cooking and baking, and great beach gear. The best part was the location to the wonderful beach. The ocean has an awesome reef for snorkling but plenty of safe spots to swim and play without being near the reef/rocks. Although the unit is a bit too far away to hear the surf, there are great spots on the property to sit and enjoy the ocean without being on the beach.

The property had plenty of room and was very well equipped. It is on a very nice beach. The bedrooms were fairly dark, but we didn't spend much time indoors. No view of the beach but you are literally steps away down the path from a fantastic beach. Fun to watch the kite surfers in the afternoons if the wind kicks up. All in all it was a very nice, comfortable place to spend a few days on the beach on Maui!

Great condo for our family of 4. We especially liked the ease of getting to and from the beach on our garden path. The complex is small which made for less crowded beach in front of the property. The pool was never crowded either. All and all a great spot with lovely and responsive host!

This condo was a lovely place to stay in Maui for our family of five. While the building itself is not particularly new, the condo was beautifully renovated and modern, and just steps away from a pool and an amazing beach. The air conditioning and fans keep everything comfortable, and the large kitchen kept us well fed, particularly given how well stocked it was with utensils, place settings, pots, and pans.
The location is great as well, only five minutes from Wailei, with its multitude of shopping and restaurants. There is a Safeway about ten minutes away and some other food spots even closer.
Perhaps the only criticism we could muster is that the master bedroom is next to the building’s laundry room, and we could sometimes hear the machines from there. But the laundry room closes at a reasonable hour and it never bothered our sleep or anything else of importance.
All in all, we would highly recommend this condo which was a convenient, relaxing, and comfortable home base for us in our week in Maui.

We had a blast in Maui staying at this condo. The location was central to many activities we wanted to do. We didn’t drive more than 30 minutes to any activity we desired; zip lining, surfing, Mama’s Fish House, Road to Hana. The beach was wonderful and it was really nice to have the boogie boards, coolers, chairs and umbrellas. We rented snorkel gear next door and snorkeled daily. There were turtles and tons of fish. The sunsets were beautiful!

The place was clean upon arriving and check-in was easy. We got in late at night and did not get to check out the area, but the morning after we were greeted by the ocean steps away from the beach. If you enjoy running, you will enjoy the mile or so of beach that is by the property. There is a back access to the beach that is covered with plants which makes you feel like you are out in the wild.
We did not get to use the pool, but did enjoy sitting at the tables near the pool. You get a nice view of the ocean and beach. Would recommend having a meal by the tables.
I would rent the property again if in the area. Place was not too far from attractions and is a little hidden gem tucked near the beach. Parking is a bit tight as we drove a wide Jeep, but is doable. Only other complaint is that the property does not allow for grills, but you can cook in the kitchen if needed.

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. It met our requirements of proximity to great beaches, cleanliness, well equipped kitchen, and quiet neighborhood. The building is older and smaller than many in the area, but well maintained and charming. The grounds were immaculate, with beautiful plantings and veranda as well as green space for watching whales, beach action and sunsets. This condo is closer to the road than the beach, which is not quite as described, but it is still steps away with easy access. Umbrellas, boogie boards and chairs as well as beach towels were all included - quite a nice touch especially with a toddler in tow. Kim was easily accessible for questions, which were minor. Highly recommend!

The location of this condo is perfect. It is right on the beach yet very private surrounded by a garden. Beach chairs, beach towels, and umbrellas were all provided. We had a great time and would definitely stay there again.

The condo was beautiful and the beach can't be beaten. This was our first trip to Maui and we were a tiny bit worried that we would like some of the other more "popular" areas better than staying in Kihei, but this location was perfect! The owner, Kim was fantastic with everything and responded to messages very quickly. We also loved the beach toys and gear that we were able to use with the condo. We are already looking forward to booking this condo again next year!

We have stayed here twice now. The property was recently remodeled and is even better than last time. The kids love the pool, we love the beach that is rarely crowded even at peak times. Saw lots of turtles while snorkeling off the reef this trip. Great overall experience. We hope to return again before too long!

This is our 4th time staying at HHK and first time in this unit. It had everything we needed for a week at the beach with our teens. Loved the ground floor location, privacy of the lanai, and best access to the beach. We cooked most meals in the kitchen, it had all needed supplies. The master bed was one thing I'd say needed improvement, it was a little noisy and wobbly when one person moved around in the bed and could be updated with a more solid frame to avoid this. Also, the master bath could really use a vent fan to de-humidify the shower/toilet room and allow towels to dry quicker. Overall a wonderful week, thank you!

We loved this condo. The beach is about a 30 second walk away and can be accessed through a cute, rain forest-like walkway. The beach was perfect for our kids. (In fact for some of our kids that was their favorite part of our vacation.) There were beach chairs, boogie boards, and other beach equipment available. My son and I snorkeled on the rocks to the right of the beach and found a lot of fish, urchins, and other sea life including a sea turtle. Loved this condo. I would highly recommend it.

Great place to stay with direct access to Keawakapu Beach and other locations without driving. Private, quiet, medium-sized complex. Pool is small but adequate if you prefer the beach. No barbecuing allowed in the complex and laundry facilities are provided on each floor, but not in the units. Two bedroom/two bath condo is well equipped and comfortable with everything you need in the kitchen and bathrooms. Very comfortable king-sized bed in the master bedroom. Plenty of outlets for charging electronics and good Internet access. Older condo and furnishings, but we understand that recent new owners plan updates and changes so we're sure it will be even better and we hope to stay again! This owner was very helpful with good communication and assistance when we needed it. We would recommend this unit and the complex, as well as the Kihei area for great beaches, many activities, and a good variety of restaurants in all price ranges.

This condo complex is right on the beach. You can park your car and leave it untouched if you want. There is so much to do however on Maui that we were there only half the time. The garden view was very private and the beach was right down the hallway. The condo itself is quite, clean and light. Good internet and TV. Full kitchen with all the necessary items. I would recommend this place.
