This was me and my husband's first trip to Kauai. I enjoyed this location because it was in a location that made it easy to go exploring and any direction. And the beachfront with the wonderfullanai made relaxing after a long day of exploring easy. The condo was large, well stocked, clean, and had a washer and dryer.

We would stay here again just for the view! We were about 50 yds from the water, 1st floor, and could hear the waves and watch wind surfers. The condos themselves are old but clean and nothing to complain about (although the sheets and towels could be updated) but it had everything we needed.

Centrally located to shopping, dining and excursions. The view of Wailua Bay is spectacular. The bedroom of this unit remained well lit at night from lighting outside the unit. Also, conversations at the pool, made it difficult to rest/sleep. We have had the opportunity to stay in several units at Wailua Bay View over the years, and found this unit less desirable.

The view was so soothing. Even watched some surfers. The location was really easy to access; nice and central. The pool was really clean, pretty and never crowded. The kitchen and washer/dryer made our stay convenient and comfortable. Beautifully maintained grounds.

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. The view from the Lanai was great as well as the location. Several good restaurants you can walk to. We appreciated having all the snorkel gear, beach chairs, cooler etc. as we drove to many different beaches.

The Condo was clean and nice enough. Our stay was okay just used it to sleep at night and sip coffee on the Lanai in the mornings. There is no Air Conditioning, but every other condo has one but ours, so we had to open all windows to try and let cool air in. The condo stayed warm and humid with no wind going through the condo. The check in process is inconvenient we had to go to an office in Lihue to grab the keys and then go back to drop it off 10min away. Every other condo had a combo lock. Over all it was convinient enough to stay in but I would not stay here again.

Very good value. Nice location, just across the street from a good bakery. The kitchen has all the needed appliance (except maybe a juicer).No AC and slightly old condo but perfect for sunny vacations

We really enjoyed our balcony every morning and evening. The landscaping at the Wailua Bay View is beautiful; the pool is a good size for lap swimming. Unit 110, however, was grimy, with aged dust and dirt. We spent 3 hours cleaning on our first day of vacation.

The place was great and centralized near shops, restaurants, and a great beach. We loved our stay because it had a great view of the ocean and we enjoyed watching the sunrise every morning. It was also equipped with all the necessities of a kitchen and some outdoor activity items such as a soft cooler, beach towels, beach chairs. The property itself was very well maintained, we met the manager Mark and he was very nice and takes pride in keeping the place clean. There was plenty of parking on the property and it felt very safe and well lit at night. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that would like to visit and is looking for a relaxing and quiet place.

The condo had a great layout and exceptional view. It was close to the pool which was awesome. The furniture was good, a bit outdated. It was clean, but the appliances were all outdated, the fridge was rusted. We had to call maintenance for the stove and dishwasher. The bathroom had lots of room, but super outdated and the tub looked dirty and the shower head was awful. The sheets smelled musty and had bloodstained on them. The property Manager did get housekeeping to put newsheets on the bed. The Vacation Rental place was awesome to deal with along with the property manager and maintenance. Overall, we would definitely stay there again, but definitely not that unit. Way too outdated!

It was really a pleasure for us to stay there. The pool, the view from the balcony (amazing) the sound of the wave. We had everything we need to feel like home (for cooking and laundry) The only downside is the bedroom window is located beside the sidewalk of the condo.. when people are walking it felt like they were in the room with us. But it didn’t bothered us that much because during the night the environment was really quiet. We highly recommand!

This cute little condo was perfect for the two of us! It has a beautiful view and is in a great location. We were close to nearly all the activities we had planned. It's within walking distance of the farmer's market, which is a must do if you visit! Absolutely no complaints!

Very relaxing stay! The condo was located in a nice central location, was comfortable and clean. It would be difficult to get much closer to the ocean. This rental is in an older complex and was a good value. We did not miss the lack of air conditioning. I do believe the unit could use a "refresh", paint, carpet, etc. Traffic in the area of this condo is an issue, some of this is due to ongoing road construction.

The best part of this unit is the location. The unit sits right at the ocean so you can hear waves all the time. You can walk to a handful of great restaurants and a convenience store easily. The complex was small with a very nice pool and the landscaping was very beautiful. The unit is dated but very clean. I am a light sleeper and had issues sleeping with the windows open. There is no air-conditioning and we had to keep the windows open and the fans running to be comfortable at night. So with the sounds of the street I had to wear earplugs. No big deal when you were in paradise! The beach chairs were not beach chairs so we bought some appropriate ones so they should be there. There were kick boards and an umbrella. Bring your own kitchen condiments as there are none. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking but Icould use more wine glasses. We had no issues like upstairs noise or bugs. All in all, I’d stay here again.

This is a lovely 1 bdrm Condo that had every thing we need right down to the sharp kitchen knives. The view was nothing but green grass and blue ocean. We went to sleep and woke with the ocean surf. The resident rooster was kind enough to alert us to the new day about 0630 hrs. The trade winds kept the temp. within very nice. The location put us about halfway to what we wanted to do on all over the island, hiking, beaches and laziness. Would we rent this again...yes and yes again.

This was an older property, clean and everything in working order. It, however needs major updating as the decor, lighting and appliances, and bathroom fixtures were from the ‘70s. The view of the ocean is beautiful and the condo was relatively quiet and private. We were supplied with beach equipment, cooler and snorkel gear. Note however, there is no beach access from the condo but a short walk north will give you access to a narrow beach. The central location near Kapaa is very convenient for excursions to the north and south. Overall, a pleasant stay and reasonably priced.

Sleeping & waking up to the sound of the ocean was thrilling. I could literally escape my worried thoughts & feel better right away by just stepping on to my balcony & watching the ocean, the chickens feeding, and contemplating the beauty of the exotic flowers in front of me. I took many pictures of just that scene. I especially loved ut when it rained. Rain is my passion so I praise the Lord for that gift!!
