Prince Kuhio #203 was the perfect condo for us, while celebrating our 60th wedding anniversary. Enjoyed everyone of our 33 days, especially being right across the street from the Pacific Ocean. Plus, an added bonus for us was staying just a few steps from one of our favorite restaurants in Kauai - The Beach House. We have just one suggestion for the condo - add a grab bar for getting in out of the shower. Also, we'd like to express our appreciation for Kauai Vacation Rentals in granting us a much later checkout time, when our airline company decided to delay our flight home by 7 1/2 hours. Bottom line for us - Prince Kuhio #203 met all our needs and then some.

Centrally located, easy walk to the mall and coffee. Beach is right there. This was a great location for us while we learned to scuba dive. The condo is clean and well stocked with what we needed to enjoy the beach. Thanks for the cookies.

Overall, I’d say that this unit was a nice place! It is a bit older of a unit but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. We were pleasantly surprised that the unit had everything that you could possibly need a more! It had beach chairs, beach towels, shampoo, conditioner & lotion, etc... The view was outstanding and it was really nice being able to hear the waves crashing. Directly behind the unit is a memorial for Prince Kuhio which was also nice. For the price, this place really was a steal and we’d definitely stay there again. Lastly, I’d have to say that we were initially very concerned that this unit didn’t have air conditioning but it really didn’t matter because you really didn’t need it & we stayed their in mid July. The crosswinds that came thru the unit were outstanding which really made the unit cool & comfortable.

The place was very clean, in a good location, and they provided everything you could possibly need. Bed was huge and comfortable. Very close to Poipu beach, Shipwreck beach, Spouting Horn, mall and food trucks. Made our vacation even better!

Clean and really close to the ocean. We loved hearing the parakeets in the trees every morning and watching come in to roost at night. Great ocean view and sunrises from the balcony. The bed is comfortable and the shower is bigger than it looks in the photos. We loved snorkeling at the beach across the street and wandering around the park in the backyard. We used the community grill to grill our fresh fish! The room is quiet. We couldn’t hear the neighbors at all. I really liked this place.

Good location. Not overly crowded like nearby hotels. Comfortable. Fully functional with everything a cook needs. Nice view from balcony. Cross breeze when blinds are open on both sides of condo. Closet is small side but the ample drawer space makes up the difference. Restaurants and shopping close by.

Great little 1 bedroom unit. Location in Poipu is fantastic. Unit is pretty well equipped but has no dishwasher but that didn’t bug us after the 1st day or so. Towels, linens and Beach equipment are included. Walk across the street to the beach for some stellar snorkeling. Fish of all types and sizes, turtles and if you’re lucky an Eagle Ray might come swimming by. For an incredible meal try the Beach House Restaurant. Easy to get around the island from this location. Always good to come home to catch the sunset and the onslaught of parakeets just after the sun goes down. AMAZING

The property was equipped with every necessity! Beach umbrella, chairs, towels and cooler. Kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pans and cooking utensils. Very comfortable bed and sea breezes! Property was tastefully decorated and the Sunrise view was surreal! Walking distance to beaches, restaurants and convenience stores. Property Management staff was lovely and very helpful! We will certainly book again! Can't wait to return! Mahalo!

We enjoyed our stay at the Prince Kuhio and love this location and property. No better bargain in this area. The location is ideal for snorkeling, beaches, shopping and dining. The cozy layout worked well for the two of us. The unit does not have AC as is typical in this building, but good ventilation with the windows open, however the Roosters and Parrots can make you an early riser. The property manager was excellent, providing an information packet with our keys.

We loved our stay at Prince Kuhio! The location was perfect, right across the best snorkeling beach in Poipu. Beautiful gardens and pool. A nice walk to Spouting Hole. Close to shops, Old Koloa Town and Poipu beach. The condo was tastefully decorated. The king size bed was so confortable as well as the tv room couch. Amazing view of the sunrise in the morning. It had everything we could ask for. Everyone in the complex was so helpful and friendly. Would definitely come back!

This is our second time staying at Prince Kuhio. We love the location. It's our favorite, after staying in a beachside condo in Kapaa and at a hotel in Poipu. The grounds and pool area are lush and beautiful. The little beach across the street is wonderful for snorkeling and when the surfs up, watching the surfers is a treat. It's also a nice area to walk. The tiny balcony views are outstanding. The unit is older and a little crowded, but very clean and affordable. The mattress was good and the extra bedside fans were greatly appreciated. We got a lot of use out of the kitchen, as it had everything we needed to cook for the week we stayed. We would love to stay again in the future.

We loved our stay! This condo literally has everything you need. Beach chairs, and umbrella, beach towels, cooler, boogie board, etc. It also has everything you need to cook your meals. One review said no oil/seasoning but when we arrived there was some. Probably left behind by previous renters. This condo is very small, and old but it was very clean. The lack of air conditioning was tough during the daytime, but we rarely there. The nights were tolerable. The location is awesome! There is a beach almost right across the street. I would recommend this condo to anyone! Especially if you’re trying to do Hawaii on a budget.

I will 100% be returning. This was a great unit for the price. I was nervous that there was no AC but it's totally manageable. The unit had everything we needed including a cooler, beach chairs, beach umbrella and much more. It was so cute and clean. The property is gorgeous and the pool was perfect. It's quite and relaxing and exactly what we need after 2+ years without a vacation. It's located near so many shops and restaurants and a quick 30 minute drive to Lihue. Just book it, you won't regret it!

This condo was situated wonderfully in tranquil gardens with a lovely ocean view from a comfortable couch. The morning sunrise was beautiful coming into the living room. I also loved that there were no other units looking into our place. Balcony was small but the furniture was placed that you felt outside when you opened the slider door. Bed was very comfortable and whole unit was clean and had a home feel. Perfect for the two of us. Location was convenient for walking and watching the sunset. Had to drive to a beach for swimming but so close it wasn’t a problem. We will definitely stay here when we visit Kauai again.

There's a way to set up your condo that makes sense for guests and this condo needs help. The vacation rental co. was outstanding, and responded quickly to our wish to replace stinky, musty bath towels. They came by the same day with brand new towels. Nevertheless, the entire condo could use a major update. The lanai is truly a 2 ft. wide balcony, the view is accurate, the cooler provided is a personal size of 14 quarts and not large enough to hold more than 2 small water bottles and 2 sandwiches, the grass mat was torn and ruined before our arrival and the single boogie board of a very poor quality that is not worth using. It feels as though owners aren't invested in bringing it up a few notches.Parking close to sunset and later in the condo's lot is very sparse as many people come to this West facing area called the Beach House Resort (across the street) to watch the sunset. Beach House Resort hosts several weddings also. The deadend road is surprisingly very busy with cars and noisy until 10pm-ish every day. The condo is small and great for 2 people or a couple with one very young child, but not for more. The living room space off the "lanai" is overcrowded with a huge granny chair, an L shaped couch, 3 end tables, a desk, a chair, 2 bookshelves, and a large TV cabinet. It is stuffed and not what is featured in the photograph sadly. There are plenty of DVD movies available, not much for board games, and several helpful guide books on Kauai. There is no guest log for people to share tips and only the property management co. had a few helpful links. Kauai has SO many cool things to see and do, I would think any host/owner would want to share info. Other than the noise, the location is lovely as we could walk to the Spouting Horn, the National Botanical Gardens, and a lovely further walk along Hoonani Road (oceanside). Beaches, Waimea and Old Koloa Town are cool, but all towns this side of the island are small. No real grocery store

The unit was adorable and perfectly stocked. Adequate parking on the grounds is a problem. The laundry facilities had only 2 working washers- always in use. The bill breaker was out of order. The pool was closed for 3 days of our stay. Quite disappointing.

Had a wonderful experience. The place was clean, spacious, had all the kitchen amenities and a very comfortable bed. The property managers were great to work with, we had to stay an extra night due to a cancelled flight and they were quick to respond and work things out with us as well as offer a late checkout.

The condo was perfect for my fiancé and I! The location is great right across from the beach house! The sunsets there are gorgeous!! The condo was a great size for the two of us and it’s separated so that you can be in the sun room with the tv separate from the bedroom. Our only complaint is that they didn’t have any essential cooking things (no salt and pepper or oil or cooking spray or spices). We didn’t end up cooking much at the condo for this reason (it’s expensive to buy spices in hawaii for just a few meals). We also didn’t know this going in so we bought some food that we didn’t end up using. Otherwise, they have all cooking utensils you would need. They also supply beach chairs, an ice chest, an umbrella, and beach towels, which was an amazing amenity! All in all, we would recommend this place!

This rental was very clean. It was in a great location, close to many of the Poipu areas that we visited. It across from beach house and a beach that we can walk to. They had beach chairs, towels and all of the things we needed for our stay. The kitchen, bedroom and living room were nice as well! Thank you for a wonderful stay on our wedding week!
