Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Great home. In a beautiful area. However… Owners made an unannounced and unwelcome visit on Father’s Day while I was away and wife was home alone. Actually came into house to access garage. Not happy at all as it made my wife very uncomfortable. They were in the garage for over 40 minutes. Not Aloha After that we had impression that we were being observed and wondered if the owners were just waiting to enter when we went out to explore. Stay away if you value your privacy.

House is spacious, fabulous yard, well appointed kitchen, just under a mile to Queen's Bath and Hideaways, which is great since it is hard to park at either place. Check In was EASY and the property manager was attentive. The worst thing about this house was having to leave.

In short, the owners of this property should fire Ocean Front Realty as a property management company. I tried and tried to get the access code to the house the week before I arrived. Ocean Front personell took days to get back with me. Then they gave me the wrong code and when I arrived late at night and couldn’t get in they were unresponsive and didn’t answer the emergency phone numbers. At midnight my children sat in the rain of Kauai for over an hour. I finally ended up calling a guy named uncle Mike who was helpful after many calls back and forth to get Donna to give me the code. Even after all of this she was reluctant to give me the bypass emergency code to the house. Unbelievable. When I asked them to give me the owner’s contact information and the contact information of the owner of Ocean Realty they refused. The best way to achieve change is if the property owners fire these people.
