Big island vacation. The location of the house was great, but you need a car. The property is beautiful with amazing sunsets and views for days! The pool is great and pool deck gets a nice amount of sun. The house could use some work. The kitchen is decently equipped but the knives are dull, broken and pretty cheap. The patio screen doors fall off the track a lot and need to be replaced as they are patched together. The ceiling fans all need to be replace as they are loud and don’t move much air anymore. The patio furniture consists of two chairs two side tables and two dining tables. It would be nice to have a place for 4-6 people to sit comfortably and enjoy the great sunset/ views! The carpet in the house has to be replaced as it has lots of stains and is kinda gross. The home had lots of great beach toys and chairs to use. Knutson was easy to work with and I would rent a property form them again, all in all it was a great vacation. I know this review looks bad but it’s not, just need to put a few $$ into the property to make it more in its price point. Enjoy the big island, it was great!

We went there for our 30th anniversary. The house is incredible with rooms for for entire family. Having bathrooms for each couple was especially nice. Very quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay there again. Short drive to town for shopping or fun.

This property was very roomy, but had lots of stairs. The property was not AC which was not a problem except for one of the rooms location in the house made it very warm. The balconies were spacious and gave you a great view. Kitchen was large and easy to manuever in. The pool was clean. Our biggest problem with this property were the outside wooden steps. There was a sign that said "Caution, slilppery when wet" however there was nothing placed on the steps to help prevent some of the slipperyness. Two of my party took spills on these stairs and we both were very cautious. The stairs do not have good rail for holding onto so we stopped using these stairs for fear of someone else falling. If it weren't for the stairs being so dangerous this would have been an awesome place to be.

Great pool, deck and views. Our family had a great time and very comfortable in the house. The landscaping kept the pool private. We were able to relax all week and really close to many things to do in koba.

What you are looking at is exactly what you get, the home has a great outdoor appeal with foliage, pathways,gardens and yes the pool area is awesome.The pillars in front make it mansion styling and this all is in the drive up the driveway.The interior is very large and open,kitchen has all you need,loads of seating,towels,bedding,pillows,nicely finished and lived in,which gives it a very comfortable feel,but,but, when you step out on the covered deck,yahoo folks,second to none, the experience will be all yours, fill the fridge with your favorite beverages head outside sit down and guaranteed you'll be having this memory stick forever in your collection,amazing.The staff at Knutson are absolutley first rate and have supplied you with an amazing vacation rental,well done,well done

Beautiful patio and place to sit on main level, as well as the master. Wish I had more time to spend there. No bugs in the late evening was a pleasant surprise. Could have slept there. Very comfortable for three couples. Plenty of space and good/comfortable furnishings. My only suggestions for the owners is to update some cookware, especially the knives, and get the driveway lights working. But, neither would keep me away...I would definitely stay here again.

The property was located in a very convenient and central location. It was close to the airport which was great! The pool was our favourite part - it was clean and had lots of pool accessories and chairs around. Kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans. There is no a/c which we didn't realize until arrival, however I think this is a common theme in the area. There were fans provided in the residence. Overall, it was a great place to stay for our short vacation in the Big Island as we were able to drive to all of our destinations in relatively short periods of time.

Overall, I recommend this property. Management company was very communicative and thorough, we had no issues during our stay. Pool was a huge plus, there were a lot of pool floats and toys already there to use. However, I'd note that, as many others noted in their reviews, the driveway is VERY steep and can be problematic for certain types of cars or walking up/down and there are a LOT of stairs inside, which wasn't an issue for us, but I can imagine might be a concern for others. Interior was clean and overall I enjoyed the open space concept. However, some of the decor and other accents throughout the house are very outdated and old/worn out. The view from the lanai, however, can't be beat!

Lovely patio to sit out almost any part of the day to enjoy the view of the island and ocean. We tried to use the Jacuzzi tub the last night and didn’t work. The hot water heater must be pretty small because only one person in our party could take a shower at a time.

We had a great time staying at the beautiful property. The house was clean and welcoming. There was plenty of room to accommodate our family. My favorite part of our stay was eating dinner on the deck and watching the incredible sunsets. Our Stay was ok, we were surprised by maintenance and safety issues on site and disappointed we were not made aware of the fact that all homes surrounding the property were under construction every day of our stay at the time of booking. We would not have booked.Water leaks on lanai and wood rott were concerning given the height and posisble dangers associated with structure issues on the lanais.

The home is exactly as pictured. Please keep in mind that there are 2 entrances, front entrance requires going up a lot of stairs to get into the main living room, the back entrance requires a car w/ high bottom clearance, to get to the top of the steep driveway. Wasn’t a problem for us at all; we took the SUV to the top parking and parked the convertible downstairs. There is no AC but the house but that was a non issue for us, there’s tons of windows and the breeze coming through kept the house at a perfect temperature. I loved that the house was equipped w/ plenty of beach toys and gear. Comfy beds, lots of linens, toiletry items and even a closet stocked w/ sunscreens, lotions and aloe (that I discovered after the fact) and kitchen was fully stocked (we left it more stocked!) with spices and sauces. Home is located in a great location. This home is definitely a gem for the price! My only disappointment was that the pool is located across the driveway, from of the house; it gets sun but not enough to warm the water enough (we went in February), so the water was too cold to get in.

The property itself is pretty nice. The view is stunning from the deck. Housed our combined families very well. We do wish there was a door on the upstairs bedroom. The landscaping is amazing.
The management on the other hand leaves more to be desired. We sent out multiple emails called and use their app to request information which we’ve got no responses. Upon leaving we cleaned up kitchen, washed all the dishes, took all the trash down to the trashcan. i the received a call saying we would be charged extra for laundry and trash. Isn’t there a cleaning fee that supposed to cover doing the laundry? And we just paid the mortgage in 6 days, it wasn’t cheap. Obviously it’s a house that will be rented by six+ people And there is a pool so there’s going to be laundry. Get real Knudsen!

The property had all the essentials we needed for cooking. There were beach chairs and snorkeling equipment. I am glad I brought my own snorkeling equipment because there was not enough for our large family. Although the chair in the master bedroom needs replaced, the master bedroom was incredible and such a nice retreat. I would definitely stay here again.

Our family of 8 truly enjoyed this wonderful home! It has plenty of room for family gatherings as well as individual places to hang out! It was well stocked with everything we needed and is located near many attractions! We all loved the pool! Thank you Blake from Knutson Property Management for working with us through Covid shut down so we could still take the vacation of our dreams!
