Lovely corner patio which is a great, very spacious. The over all furnishings are good, but outdated. The carpets were quiet dirty. With all the dark wood perhaps some lighter pictures or lamps would really help. But other than that. It was well stocked, would come here again!

Overall a great place. Awesome location with killer views and so close to may stores, restaurants and golf. I can see the concept of the decor (traditional Hawaii) but some of it just makes the condo look dated and dingy. If the carpet was replaced with tile it would be so much better. Basically everything you need in the kitchen for cooking in. Extra linens need replaced. One good thing to know is that the beach cabana has beach chairs and towels for day use.

We enjoyed our stay in Maui. The unit was spacious and close to the private El Dorado beach and cabana. However, the condo was not very clean and we did not have enough pillowcases to put on the extra pillows for the hidebed couch. There was also a broken chair in the unit. I don't know if we would stay in this unit again because of this. This is our second time staying at the Maui El Dorado, and we love it there.

The unit is in a great location with views across the golf course to the sea. There was always something going on outside, either watching golfers or whale spotting. Just a short walk to the beach and nearby facilities. The interior of the unit is quite dark even with the curtains open and the furnishings need updating. The beds are very comfortable and there is plenty of equipment in the unit particularly in the kitchen. The standard of cleaning was average. Overall the time we spent was enjoyable and the location made up for the standard of the interior.I

The location of the condo was great and head nice views. It is adjacent to Black Rock Beach. It was nice to have chairs, umbrellas and small coolers. We also took advantage of the free chairs and towels offered at the beach front cabana. The kitchen was well stocked and the space was comfortable for 5 adults. As most of the other reviewers mentioned, the carpet could use a good steam cleaning. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

Great view, walkable, friendly check-in staff, responsive property manager. That said, the unit is tired. The vrbo listing said the carpet is new. It is not. The carpet is old, shaggy and gross and it goes in to the master bath—even more gross. The dining chairs are wobbly and feel they are about to collapse. In fact, one was broken already when we arrived. The sofa sleeper is years past its useful life. Would consider staying in this unit again after the owner updates and modernizes it. Then it might warrant the we paid. It did not take away our enjoyment of the visit, but it needs work. Everything else was fine.

This property is a hidden gem. While the property is slightly dated, this property has amazing amenities and the property owner was nothing short of spectacular! Great location! Great hospitality! Great Vacation.

When we checked in there were quite a few issues that needed to be fixed and we were told we had to contact the owner directly. The first issue was that one of the showers was completely unusable. The owner was aware of the issue and still let us check in without notifying us that the 2 bathrooms we were paying for were going to be unable to be used. There was issues with the lighting, specifically in the master bedroom. One of the lamps actually shorted out and shocked my husband. We made the owner aware and it took until Friday before they came and put a bandaid on the shower. They used a pair of pliers to “fix” it so it could be used while we were there. They had to shut the water off to the building 2x to wait for a plumber that never showed up. All the owner had to say was “sorry”. He was aware of the unworking
shower and had no issue with letting us check in and pay for a 2 bathroom unit when we were not getting a 2 bathroom unit. The maintenance people and the front desk staff told us that they have been trying to get the owner to do maintenance and upgrades for a long time but until he consents, they can’t do anything. The over the stove microwave did not work so they put one on the counter which took up half of the counter space. The location is great but the unit is in desperate need of updating and renovations. Especially the electrical. The lights flick when you use the microwave. The outlets get very hot when you plug something in. Unit is also on the second floor with no elevator so do not book if you have trouble with stairs. The view of the beach is great, it’s an easy 5 minute walk. Just wish the owner would take care of the unit.

Maui Eldorado is an old resort and the vibe is very chill. It was perfect for our young grandsons. This unit in particular has the best view of the resort. The lanai wraps around the large condo and has sliders and screens. The trade winds were delightful and the sunset views outstanding. Absolutely perfect in this regard. It’s decorated in what the owner calls ‘Old Hawaiian’, and while there are some cool art pieces, it’s mostly just a dated condo. While it was clean, the carpets everywhere seemed a little gross. We’ve gotten used to hard surface floors in rentals and this one change would make this unit go from good to great.

We had an amazing 2 week getaway at this property. The location is fantastic, with unobstructed ocean and golf course views. Having our morning coffee on the deck and watching whales was a favourite. The beach was only a 5 min walk and the cabana made it very easy to head down anytime without a lot of logistics . The cabana at the beach supplied towels and beach chairs so you didn’t need to bring your own. The unit itself was very comfortable and spacious for 2 adult couples. A bit dated decor but definitely Hawaiian style and suited the location. Anders was a great host and responded promptly and even accommodated a late checkout for us. We would definitely come back again.

I recently stayed at this condo with my husband, 3 adult children, and my son’s significant other. It was better than what the pictures online reflected. Very very spacious. Everyone had their own space and we were very comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. There is a fold out couch and air mattress for extra beds. The outdoor lanai had a gorgeous view and we sat outside every night. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could need. Overall, It exceeded my expectations.

The property is amazing and the location cannot be beat. The golf course's were the best we've ever played. Pool area, grilles, games were in a great location on the property. Everything was easy to access. Had a little issue will the air mattress. First the pump didn't work and the property manager responded quickly with a new one. Once we had a new pump, the mattress wouldn't hold air so every morning our daughter woke up on the floor 😑. Besides that, we were in heaven!!

The condos kitchen has everything a group needs. We bbq’d by the pool. It’s a spacious comfortable home away from home.

This condo was absolutely perfect for me and my husband's honeymoon. The balcony is HUGE and we spent many hours out there watching golfers in the morning and the sunset in the evening. The location of this particular unit has the best views and was a short walk to the beach. It is also very spacious inside, but cozy at the same time. We had everything we needed to cook breakfast and lunches. We were able to scuba dive, snorkel, golf, shop, eat and drink all within 10-15 minutes of the resort. We stayed in one other location during our time in Maui, and this place was hands-down our FAVORITE! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful paradise with us!

The area where the Condo is located is very nice with outstanding views. The Cabana is awesome! The interior is a little dated and could use some upgrades to furniture specifically. I wish there was two queen sized beds in extra room the ones that were there were very small. Overall, it was a nice place and would come back again.

Great location and unit in this resort. A 10 min walk to nearby shops and a 10 min car ride from grocery stores in either directions. Wish it was a little closer to the beach but the panoramic view of the ocean and the golf course more than made up for it. We’ll definitely be back here.

We have stayed on the Kaanapali coast several times before this time around at the Maui El Dorado and there are better options than this particular rental for the money. The condo is very dated and the pictures make the double beds seem a little larger than they actually are.
The lanai is nice with great views but lacks privacy with the public walkway to the beach for other renters/condo owners walking by all the time.
The biggest disappointment was the washing machine not working and not being told before booking that it was out of order when the management company new about it. The property manager gave us a 10% discount for the hassle.
Really wanted to like this place, it is a shame it was mismanaged and not updated, with less privacy on lanai then expected.

We came for a week long visit and had a great time. The condo was just like the description. Definitely the best location of all of them. We sat on the balcony and enjoyed the ocean view. The condo had plenty of room and a great blow up bed for our son. Master was giant and very comfortable. The condo is walking distance to everything and the beach is the best. Owner was quick to respond with any questions. Will definitely be back!

Unobstructed view of the ocean with an incredible golf course view. The property is extremely well maintained and the place is very very clean. Lots of room inside and the beds are really comfy. This is located very close to the resort corridor, so a free trolley or easy walk gets you right in the thick of things, the beach is quiet and the community has its own beach hut in the beach that gives you chairs and towels for being a resident, the beach is also just a free golf cart ride or 5 minutes scenic walk! The view from the balcony is awesome and we even saw whales breaching out of the water from our location! 5 stars!

We vacationed here with another couple for eight days. Conveniently located to the beach, Lahaina, and Whaler’s Village. This is a beautiful unit. The decor and details were outstanding. The view doesn’t get much better either. Every morning we enjoyed sitting on the lanai and taking in the gorgeous blue sky and ocean. This was well worth the money spent.

More lighting options for the lanai for outdoor eating/cooking and some room in the kitchen to store groceries would be great. We will stay again.

Incredible view. Ten-minute drive to Lahaina. This location is perfect. We were amazed at how every amenity was thought of. Not just beach chairs, but coolers and ice packs, snorkels and flippers.
This is the perfect place to stay in Maui and should we return, it's the first place I'll look for.

The location of this condo is perfect. We went with a group and everyone was jealous of our lanai and ocean view. I enjoyed coffee on my lanai every morning! The condo decorations are warm and welcoming and the owners keep it well stocked. It has all the amenities you need! We had been told an air mattress would be provided and when I messaged to ask where it was - a brand new AeroBed was delivered! The space is large and was the only unit we saw with a vaulted ceiling. If you’re on the fence - than the plunge!!! You won’t be sorry!
