The best is the location. You have easy access to the beach which is beautiful and calm, you get to see up closevthe turtles when they come to this site to sleep. Restaurants where afew minutes away driving and they are also at walking distance if you want do some exercise. One the best shave ice location in right on the same street and you can go across and enjoy it right on the beach. We definitely recommend this place.

We were there in Maui for four days and we stayed at this condo for the duration of that stay. The condo is in a great location, well stocked with everything you could possibly need from using the kitchen to having towels and beach chairs and surf boards etc. Also had very well laid out directions and notes in the condo which made the stay hassle free. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay when visiting Maui.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It included useful items not provided at resorts - cooler, beach chairs & umbrella, insulated water containers. Well-equipped kitchen and nice lanai to enjoy breakfast outside. Clear directions posted for using tv and general reminders. Great accessibility to communicate with host. Loved the beach access right across the street with easy viewing of sea turtles and the office of the Humpback Whale Sanctuary. Free parking. Nice pool.

These condos are old. Built in 1980. Our unit had been remodeled, but the entire complex is showing its age. The prices are reasonable, and the maintenance is good. If you are looking for something "new" this isn't the place for you.

I had a fantastic stay at this VRBO property in Kihei! The location very convenient, with easy access several great beaches. The affordability was a pleasant surprise, and the room itself was clean and well-furnished. The thoughtful amenities, including beach towels, beach chairs, and an umbrella, made our beach days even more enjoyable. Kevin, the host, was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, adding a personal touch to our stay. Highly recommended!

Our stay was perfect! It started before we even arrived with amazing communication from the owner. We were worried about coming to Maui after the recent fires but were reassured that we should still come and we were so glad we did. The condo had everything we could think of needing and then some. It’s centrally located to anywhere you want to go on the island and also close to numerous restaurants and shops. There is also a great beach within a 5 minute walk where you can see sea turtles at sunset. We really appreciated the beach chairs, pool noodles, and cooler that were provided. Kevin was even kind enough to help me surprise my husband for his 50th birthday. We will be back and are already looking at dates to see when we can return!

Everything’s really clean and the check-in was so easy! Kevin (the host) is so helpful, provides you with great tips and always responds super fast - you can tell that he cares! The location is ideal if you want to drive around and see the island. Don‘t forget to bring your own rackets if you want to play tennis.

Kevin's place had everything we needed for our short trip. Everything was clean and easy to find. Our one goal was to see turtles, and Kevin suggested the beach across the street which turned out to be perfect for sunset and seeing turtles. Great location, great host, great stay!

Kevin’s place was close to everything we needed, Beaches & great food! Loved having a Keurig to drink my coffee in the morning. He provided some great items that we unfortunately didn’t take advantage of: coolers, beach chairs and umbrellas. But it was still nice to have that option just in case!

This property is ideally located. Easy to get to restaurants and snorkel gear rental places. There is a great snorkeling and turtle park directly across the street from the property. Plus there’s a nice hot tub which is heated just right and a pool. We also appreciated the fact that the owner has provided two beach chairs and a cooler for for your use.

We had a great time at Kevin’s place. From the other reviews I could tell that it was going to be good but it exceed our expectation! The kitchen is well-equipped. The place was super clean! The location was great! Lots of turtles at the beach in front of the condo. Great place for whale watching also! I’ll definitely stay here again!

This is a great place to stay!
The location is the best spot on the whole island (central to everything and great beaches) favourite was the big beach.
The place was spotless! The cooler, beach chairs and water cooler was game changer. Full kitchen plus pay it forward is nice. (Forgot to bring shampoo and conditioner.)
I had to work on this vacation the wifi worked great.
We had one minor power outage, think maybe 2 hours. We were gone that day, so that we wouldn’t have even noticed. Kev checked in, gave us an update, and told us where the flashlight was.
Kev gave some great recommendations of things to see and do. Defiantly will stay here again.

Terrific location! Beach is across road. Watched the sunset every night. All south Maui beaches are close. Also good proximity to West Maui and roads upcountry, to east Maui and to airport. The Kihei Bay Surf seems a well run facility. Good pool and hot tub. This unit sits back off the road and is more quiet. Only one request. Would have liked a blender.

We highly recommend this property to anyone who wants a great location and hosts who go above and beyond. The condo had absolutely everything we needed for a day at the beach. The kitchen had everything we needed including a great pantry of pay it forward items. The condo was incredibly clean, the towels were so soft and the bed very comfortable. Above all of these amazing condo qualities was our host Kevin. He gave us great recommendations for restaurants and activities. Anytime we had a question he answered promptly and solved any problem we were having even if it wasn’t condo related for example a forgotten charging cord for our computer. Thank you so very much Kevin and if we come back to Maui we will be hoping to stay on one of your properties. Mahalo!

The location of Kevin's property is perfectly close to the beach, food, and grocery stores. It is just a short drive out to other cities and airport. His property has a great pool area and free parking!
We loved how well stocked it was from the kitchen to the bathroom and the water toys and even a cooler to use. It was very clean a perfect amount of space for our family. Kevin communicated with us right from the beginning of our booking. He made the check in and check out process a breeze! Will definitely want to stay here again when we are in Maui! Thank you Kevin!! 5 Stars for sure!

Probably one of the most central locations in all of Maui. If you want to explore the island, this is the perfect place to do it. There are tons of good dining options within 5 minutes, you can walk across the street to one of the top rated beaches on the island and the bed here is super comfortable. The owner is excellent on communication, offered plenty of recommendations for dining and exploring, and also let us know the condo was ready early if we wanted to check-in before the scheduled time!

There are so many good things I could say about my stay! Kevin is extremely communicative. Anytime I reached out or had a question, Kevin responded promptly. Everything I needed to know about my stay was included in the instructions, from Check-in to Check-out. Kevin even graciously provided suggestions on restaurants, activities, etc.
I was in town for a wedding and most of the events were held further up the coast in Kahana, but I came in a few days earlier to check out what's happening near this end of the island. This location is easily accessible from the Kahului Airport. It shocked me how quickly I arrived after landing! Maui is huge and this is the perfect place for respite in between all of the sightseeing!
The only surprise during my stay is that I didn't want to leave. Okay, it wasn't that surprising, but I was able to check in early, which was a nice bonus.

We loved the location (Sea turtle spotting at the quiet beach right across the beach was MAGICAL) and conveniences of the condo. The kitchen is very well stocked, not only with housewares, but a WONDERFUL "pay it forward" pantry. Additionally, having boogie boards and beach chairs was much appreciated...our only issue was that by our last day we'd run out of items like toilet paper and paper towels (there was just the 2 of us, but we were there for 4.5 days). We had returned our rental car by this point and there aren't any shops in walking distance. It was a bit of a bad position.
Also, and I saw this in other reviews, so we knew going in, but the "House Rules" really took us out of vacation mode. Guests cant wear shoes inside, which is understandable, but renters must also take out all their trashes, strip bedding and do dishes before leaving. I work for a hotel chain and honestly, I felt a bit like i was already back to work. Just not what we wanted to do during an already stressful last day.
It's a good deal for what you get, but just something to keep in mind!

We loved our stay at this great little condo. It was very clean, had all the amenities one could want and was in a peaceful setting. Right across from the beach and a short drive (15 min) to Airport, Maalaea Harbor for boat excursions and to Wailea. The Kihei Bay Surf complex was well maintained and nice to swim at (or play tennis) and just across the street from a lovely beach. Highly recommend!

The condo was easy to access, clean, close to shop, restaurants with free parking. The owner gives you recommendations of the restaurant, which was nice.
I really liked there were some essential cooking items like salt, pepper, sugar and etc.
There were everything you need for cooking, frying pans, coffee maker, water boiler and pots are large enough to cook food for 3-4 people. Well equipped kitchen for those who likes to cook.
If I will come back I will definitely stay in again. The owner is nice and responds quickly. I would highly recommend this place.

Great location only 20 minutes from the airport and entry points to Hana road and Haleakala. Real nice beach just down the street. There are sea turtles just a walk across the street, sunsets there as well. Loved the hot jacuzzi on site, wish we had more time to stop there after exploring each day. Kevin is a great host, the condo is well furnished for cooking, even the futon is very comfortable, there's alot to help you have a nice trip. Would definitely stay here again. First VRBO experience. We had an absolute amazing stay at Kevin’s condo in Kihei. It’s clean, cozy, and centrally located for going any direction on the island. Any question i may have had, Kevin was quick to answer and he was super helpful with ideas of where to go and things to see. The beach across the street is beautiful, super clean and we even got to swim with a sea turtle within the breakwater. Without a doubt we will be returning to Kevin’s condo for a repeat visit, hopefully sooner than later !

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved staying at this property. The condo is very clean and comfortable. The decor is lovely and well thought out. Location is great, and we loved being able to walk across the street to the beach. Kevin is an excellent host, and I was impressed that he provided helpful information about the surrounding area ahead of time as well as thorough instructions for check in and staying at the condo. stayed 5 nights and checked in late friday night. we were initially worried about parking since it's limited, but we were able to get a spot (FYI they are tight and lot is usually full weekend evenings).
check-in/out instructions were clear, and rental matched vrbo description as it had everything we needed for our stay- even unopened food items and toiletries from prior renters paying it forward.
no real cons except the water wasn't as warm as i'm used to, and the pressure was low at times. there was a town-wide power outage on our last day, but luckily we made coffee before it happened and the rental had flash lights.
the only amenity we used was the coin laundry (A LOT OF MACHINES) and outside showers to rinse ourselves and items.
we loved our stay so much that we would stay again!

The condo was very nicely furnished and super clean. The kitchen was very modern and furnished. There is a beach park right across the street and other beaches close by. It is a very safe area to take walks and night walks on the beach. Good wifi and TV. Owner provided beach chairs, cooler and boogie boards! Also inexpensive local buses to tour the area. Great place to stay.

Kevin is a great host and very proactive! His condo is very comfy, clean and has all the things you need for the perfect beach experience like beach chairs, a cooler, towels etc... The location is perfect for us. His condo is located accross kalepoleo's beach park where we saw turtles. We truly enjoyed staying at Kevin's condo. We will definitely be back.

Kevin's condo was absolutely perfect for our Hawaiian vacation! It was clean and well-appointed. It's also centrally located right near the town of Kihei with tons of shops and restaurants, and only 25 minutes from other hot-spots like Makena, Paia, and Lahaina. When we had enough of the sand and waves at the beach, the pool was a great option, and I loved having the laundry room right downstairs (cuts down on packing). I was able to text with questions and Kevin was very quick to respond and help out. We will absolutely stay here again for our next trip to Maui!
