Enjoyed our time in Hawaii and was our second stay at Waikiki Shores. Property is well located and maintained and is in easy walking distance to all shops and restaurants. The view was even better than we expected. The unit is lovely and spacious. Loved the well-equipped kitchen and large closets. The beach was directly in front and the sand was very soft! At low tide, there were a lot of rocks in the water, but if you wear water shoes, it's fine. At low tide, I recommend walking down the beach to swim in front of the Hilton where there are fewer rocks. Overall, a wonderful stay and highly recommended!

Also, when I opened the cupboard, there was a smell , too. Additionally, the base of the decorative artificial flowers was extremely dusty, which was quite unpleasant. Absolutely wonderful time with the family, thanks in part to the accommodations at Waikiki Shores. The only (and I truly mean only) negative was toward the end of our stay and after getting much sun early in the week, we took the umbrella to a beach and it was broken. We survived however :)

Our property manager Paul was easy to get a hold of and very helpful! The property itself was beautiful and location was perfect. The only downside was the lobby was being renovated during our stay which we knew about ahead of time, but then the elevator stopped working on our last day thankfully. We were there during fireworks and had the perfect view of them from our balcony! Definitely would stay there again in the future!

The condo is the best location. Beach facilities close, drive access to anywhere and walk-in to dinner easy. Steak Shack and Tropical Bowls just down stairs and some of the best eating on the island. Royal Hawaiian bar just minutes away and the best bar food and company right on the sand, ask for Hui. Can’t recommend the place enough. Fridays are a must because watching the Hilton fireworks from the 14th floor was superb.

The rental was as advertised and more. It came with all the kitchen essentials, bedding, and added pluses of beach chairs, body boards, and books to read. The unit was clean and well maintained. The sofa bed could us a new matress but I'm sure this is already on the owners list to do. The patio had plenty of chairs and a small table to enjoys the views. Having stayed here for 6 days with a good experience we will be back.

Fantastic property in great location and amazing views. Easy access to beach and local shopping and eateries. Cooking appliances and tools were top notch. Bring your own spices and basic ingredients (oil, sugar, etc). We appreciated washer/dryer which allowed us to pack lightly.

This is the second year in a row that we have stayed at this property but a different unit. We really enjoy staying here for the location and it is close to most things that we tend to do.
The condo we stayed in this year was one of the best furnished that we have stayed in on the islands. Pretty much everything you would need during your stay.
The bed was very comfortable and that is very important to us. The unit itself was well furnished and of course the view from the balcony was beautiful. Hope to stay here again.

Everything was fantastic! Lots of nice amenities and you can’t beat the view from your entire condo! The wall of windows overlooks the beach and the beautiful blue waters of the Pacific. Central to everything, and downstairs is the steak shack—very good for a quick and simple meal! Everything was nicely updated as well.

Absolutely beautiful condo right within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. From check in to check out it was perfect. Paul was waiting for us when re finally arrived (so grateful after a long day of flying).Everything you need for vacation was in the condo..from kitchen/bathroom/ sleeping to chairs/coolers needed for the beach. The beach is literally right there! The place was exactly what the pictures showed, the building itself was well maintained with very good security. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

We learned aloha also means love and we loved our stay. The condo was at a convenient location right be the beach, with the beach view, which was preferred. There was easy access to the room and the elevator with the key fobs. Air conditioner worked great as well as water temperature. The bed and couch were extremely comfortable. Overall great experience and am very pleased with our stay.

Have been to waikiki several times, the wife and I were looking for something different. #1412 is a amazing place to stay. Everything you need or want is in the unit. From the moment Paul checks you in you will love the views, access to the beach is easy. You can use the outrigger pool and facilities next door if you want, but why would you when the beach and ocean is at your door step. Hire lounges and umbrella's down stairs if required ,but it's all in the unit. Friday night you have front row seats from the balcony to enjoy the fire works while having dinner. Once again, thank you Captain Cook Resorts for all your help in booking and checking in and making the 17 days we were there a Fantastic holiday break from Perth. We will see you again soon. The first thing we noticed was the stunning view of the ocean!!! Stunning!! Just what we wanted and needed for a peaceful vibe! The property is clean and fully equipped with everything you need. The kitchen has everything you need, even a pizza cutter! And to our pleasant surprise, there were beach chairs, umbrellas and surf boards! The beach is a step away. We enjoyed seeing the sunset from the beach and from the balcony on some days. There is a small convenient store and a take out spot right on the lower floor on the way to the beach. These two were very convenient on the first day we checked in. Paul Tucker, our host, was very friendly and thorough during the walk through. He provided us with information on activities, restaurants, and answered every question we had. We will cherish these memories for the rest of our lives! Definitely recommend this property 100%.

What a view....Property certainly lived up to expectations. The pictures of the view don't do it justice. You have to see it for yourself. Paul was kind and helpful and check in was super easy. A beautiful place to stay in Waikiki if you prefer a condo in lieu of a hotel. I believe this is the only condos available on the Waikiki Beach. Also, we reserved a parking spot at the lot across the street which was easy to get in and out of. Overall an amazing stay and would definitely stay again when returning to Oahu.

We researched many options for our 1st time to Hawaii and this caught our attention right sweat .This amazing view and being able to walk right onto the beach is priceless. Our property manager Paul was extremely attentive anytime we reached out , he most definitely went above and beyond .

We had an amazing time at this location! It is located right near all of the shops and restaurants in downtown. We rented a car and were able to keep it on the property which made it super easy for us to walk from place to place! The view was spectacular and everything was as listed on the website! The vrbo came with everything we needed including detergent (since we’d already been at another location for a few days). Paul the property manager was super easy to get a hold of and communication was cake! Thank you guys for such an amazing experience! Highly recommend this VRBO!

Perfect location for our 8 days in Waikiki. Charming studio / 1br with outstanding views in both directions. The lanai steals the show. Parking is a bit of a challenge. Would happily and gratefully stay again.

Property was clean, right by the water. Real close to all the stores and Waikiki beach. Didn’t hear the rooster because the property is on the 14th floor. If you’re worried about Covid protocols, worry no more. You have to wear mask while in the property, they limit 1 family per elevator.. these steps might seem too much for some but my wife being a health care worker, we appreciate all the steps. Direct access to the shop and beach plus if you get hungry, call ahead to steak shack and go downstairs when it’s cooked. Property manager Paul was real helpful. We are actually planning on coming back in March and will 100% be booking this property again. There’s a place called St. Louis drive in and it’s only about 5 minutes drive from the property. Get there right when they open and order special #1… they run out of these daily, BBQ hotdog and special fried rice.

I have stayed in a few other properties in Waikiki and this one was the best. Location on the beach, within walking distance to many Waikiki locales. The unit was everything promised online. Photos are accurate. Lots of beach accessories, cooler, chairs, boogie boards, beach towels. The view was spectacular. Paul, our manager was very helpful and friendly. Hope to return.
