The condo is cozy and convenient, closed to many beautiful beaches and good restaurants. Also we liked how it was so close to the pool and we generally had the pool to ourselves. Debbie was very good at responding to our needs. The only negative thing is the noises from the neighbors upstairs and the poor baby in unit next door 1 B who cried every early morning nonstop from 1-7am. These neighbors kept all of us up and we didn’t get good sleep but it’s beyond the owner control. We still enjoyed our trip and had a blast and would definitely return to the beautiful Maui. Mahalo!

This condo is lovely! And very comfortable!
We were 4 of us, myself, husband, daughter, and about to be a 13 year old granddaughter.
One bathroom only, worked just fine.
The kitchen has everything you would need and more.
And, very important, the condo was so very clean.
Loved the tropical decor in the condo!
Pool is great and steps away.
Traffic in Kihei is something else, busy busy. We just made a left out of the parking lot up to the highway a few blocks away to get to our destination. Very easy access to the west part of the island and Paia, etc.
We had an awesome stay.

Even before the stay, Debbie emailed local places that she recommended in Maui. When we arrived, the place was immaculate! It was exactly as it looks in the pictures. We were pleasantly surprised to have a storage full of beach equipment and toys. I would definitely return to Debbie's place in the future.

This was the perfect place for our stay. The space is beautiful, clean, comfortable. A short beautiful walk to the very fun pool. It had everything we needed for our trip. My husband refused to text Deborah our host to ask her if we could stay forever. I thought it was a great idea!

Just perfect. Our two-week stay was fabulous - we are a family of five (two adults, three teens), and this checked all the boxes: great location (away from the busy-ness of more southern areas of Kihei), stocked with absolutely everything we needed in the condo (especially the kitchen) and for the beach, very clean, beds and pillows (including the pull-out couch!) were comfortable, bathroom was nice and large, lots of storage, mere steps off the lanai to the top-notch pool and hot tub (we all loved the pool, even after a day at the beach), and tennis, foosball and ping-pong if you want! Overall a very comfortable, cozy spot. Debbie was very easy to reach/communicate with if needed. Looking forward to staying here again!

The condo was great for our family, with a nice large living space and kitchen that had everything we needed. Loved being on the ground floor with easy access to pool, which is a really nice pool. The unit was clean and comfortable and the owner was very responsive. Would definitely recommend this condo!

Lovely condo in immaculate condition. A second bathroom would have been nice, but we managed. We had a good time in spite of the rain every day. Prices are high on Maui.Hawaiian vacations are not cheap, but worth the money.

We had a great time and the condo was clean, well stocked with quality items and beautifully decorated. The kitchen has a nice big fridge and it was so helpful to have in suite laundry machines.
The hot tub is tiny and there were no grocery stores, shops or much to see within walking distance, so renting a car was needed. However, it was a comfortable stay and we would go back!

We’ve had such a wonderful time at KOA Resort. The location was perfect — walking distance to the beach, beautiful large pool steps away from our door, short drive to EVERYTHING. We LOVED it. Our host was super kind and helpful and communicative. Our unit was lovingly outfitted and decorated with more than we could have hoped for. My sister and her family had another unit at the resort and ours was far more equipped and felt so warm and homey. We definitely recommend this listing and will share with family and friends!

we stayed here for 3 days, it has a warm pool amd outdoor bbq areas with tables. The unit is clean and in decent shape. The internet is adequate, however, we went out most of the time to different nearby beaches. The area is not as lively as in Lahaina, but if you enjoy quiet then its good. we enjoyed staying at the place, although none of the bedrooms or the bathroom has any locks or any hooks so anybody can barge in while youre changing or showering.

We had a great stay. The location is central to the island to what we wanted to see. The condo is well stocked and all the beach gear was really helpful. The pool and hot tube were great to relax after busy days of touring.

There were four women staying at the condo. It was comfortable and clean. The second bedroom is a bit small; not much room for suitcases. Other than that it was a nice place to stay and very close to the beach.

We spent 8 days in Maui staying in Kihei. The condo was easy to find in a great location. It is close to a swimming beach which has a family of turtles that are there daily and the sunsets are amazing at the same location. The unit Ili’s well stocked, has AC and close to the beautiful pool on the resort. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you Debbie for being so responsive and allowing us to stay at your Condo.

Our family came for a week and this place had all we needed and more! Great location - less than a mile from Safeway and plenty of shops/restaurants. Tasteful, fun decor suitable for families with kids. Wonderful large pool - our children (ages 9 and 11) went swimming almost every night. The house is chock full of practical items - cooler, ice packs, boogie boards, sand toys, beach chairs, picnic mats and more. Debbie (host) is friendly and responsive with great trip/restaurant suggestions for value-minded travelers. We'd definitely come again!

This place was amazing!! Had everything we needed and more. It was such a cute place that really made you feel at home. Very clean, organized and equipped with whatever you needed. My kids loved the pool and the comfy beds. Deb was amazing to deal with. She gave us lots of awesome advice on what to do, see and eat. She really cares about people and takes a lot of pride in her property. The people at Koa resort are so laid back and chill. They have rules and expect you to follow them but also trust in people's judgement which makes you feel at home. My only complaint is that me and my husband forgot to leave the cleaning lady a tip!! We both thought the other person was going to do it and we left her nothing. She was amazing at her job. Had the place spotless when we arrived and had fancy personal touches when we arrived. We feel bad that we forgot her tip. This place is better than anything we could have imagined and we will hopefully return one day when our Canadian dollar gets a bit better. Thanks Deb for your amazing hospitality. You really made our time in Maui amazing!!

Thank you very much for allowing us to stay in your lovely condo! It was so well equipped with everything we needed. Debbie has truly thought of everything you might need. The kitchen was perfect for making breakfasts and lunches, and we took advantage of the 2 BBQ's for cooking dinner. The lanai was large and private, and gave us the feeling we were sitting in a tropical garden. Our only complaint was road noise from South Kihei Road. If the windows were open at night, we were awakened early with commuters. But other than that we were very happy with "Eat, Drink and Be Maui!"

We loved this place! We stayed 4 nights here, and 4 nights at another place on a different part of the island, and I wish we would have stayed here the whole time. I went to Maui with my sister and my cousin, and we all agreed that we would stay here on future trips. They have thought of everything in the way of supplies, cooking needs, and personal needs. The unit was delightful, comfortable and very quiet. We all slept really well, beds & pillows were comfortable. Plenty of bath and beach towels. The patio was wonderful to sit out on at any time of day or night, with beautiful tropical foliage providing privacy. The pool was very close, and rarely had others swimming, so it felt like our own private pool when we used it.
Debbie was great to work with, and provided us all of the information we needed. It was easy to find, and in a quieter part of Kihei, while still being close to restaurants, shops and beaches. It's central to all activity on Maui, and you can get anywhere on the island and back in an easy day driving excursion. We loved the decor, tropical, tasteful and lovely. When we were at the unit, we had the doors and windows open to allow the wonderful breeze to come in and keep the place cool. Thank you Debbie, for making our stay at your place perfect!

We stayed in this condo for 9 nights and loved everything about it.
The location was ideal for going south to the beaches or north to a Lahaina luau. The condo itself had everything you could possibly need. We had 5 people staying in it and it fit us well.
Its a beautiful place and very well appointed down to shampoo if you should need it.
It was just like home..only with exotic bird sounds as you wake up in the morning out the lanai. The grounds were lush and the lanai private.
It is artistically decorated too. I wasn't looking for a "hotel room" experience.
I would highly recommend Eat Drink and Be Maui for your Maui stay!

We had a group of 4 (one couple and two ladies), and it suited us perfectly for our first stay on Maui. Central location made it easy to get to island attractions either North or South, and we enjoyed the pool and spa when we got back "home". Had all the amenities we needed, was beautifully decorated in island theme, and was certainly worth the price (not on the water, but not priced like on the water either). The owner provided a list of recommended activities, beaches, restaurants, and shopping which we used and found to be very helpful. She even alerted us when there was a Severe Weather Alert, and suggested activities during the less than perfect swimming weather. We recommend it!

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The resort has every amenity we could hope for and is well located close to beaches and local services. The pool is lovely and everyone has enjoyed relaxing there. The gardens are very well kept with an array of colourful Hawaiian plants. Parking is easy and every other aspect of the condo has been spot on. We are very glad we chose this accommodation and would happily stay again.

Nice location and complex has most of what you would want for a wonderful vacation. Nice very large pool, barbecues and tennis courts. Close to really nice beaches and plentiful parking.

Our family had the most wonderful time. The unit was wonderful and had everything we could have asked for. We couldn't believe how Deb seemed to have thought of everything! The unit was just like we expected from the pictures.
The location was great, the lanai and easy access to the pool was great, and the unit was very clean and in great condition. It was everything we hoped it would be. As a matter of fact it exceeded our expectations!
The pool was perfect for our 3 yr old daughter, the BBQ area was cozy, and the grounds were beautiful and well maintained.
We rented a vehicle and visited most of the island. Deb provided a lot of useful info and tips for the area. No matter where we went we kept saying how we felt that "our spot in Kihei" was still better and how happy we were with our spot.

The pictures above are accurate. The place was exactly what we expected and hoped for.
We were a family of five, including our 70 yr old mother, our 3 yr old daughter and 17 yr old niece and the place was perfect for everyone. We travelled the whole island and no matter where we went, we kept saying how happy we were that we were in the unit we had chosen.
If we're fortunate enough to get back to Maui, we would stay here again for sure. Mahalo Deb!

My husband and I would like to thank Debbie very much for renting us her very welcoming place and more than anything for being such an amazingly accommodating lady. Towards the end of our stay my husband broke his tibia (as we found out a week later going to the hospital in Calgary), we thought it was a sprained ankle and asked for a half day extension so he can rest a bit more before flying back home, she responded right away making all the arrangements for the cleaning person to come back another time. That allowed us and our 3 kids to be stress free which is a vacation all about. I can't give you 6 stars Debbie but I would if I could, thank you so, so, so much again. All the best from Calgary

This is the best rental I've ever had. Best condo, great location, great price, best hosting. From the moment we walked through the door to the moment we left, we loved it. It's got a great location, close to great beaches, a short walk to glorious sunsets, convenient to Makena, Lahaina, and Kahului. The condo is stocked with everything you need - beach toys to play with, beach towels, washer/dryer, wifi, soaps for shower/dishwasher/washing machine, gas BBQ, even a basket full of all of the things you might have forgotten to pack. Close to groceries and the Kihei hot spots, but not in the middle of tourist land. We were especially pleased with the efforts the owner went to when we needed help. Plenty of room for the four of us and more affordable than so many others. The condo's hot tub is also a great place to meet friendly people and get recommendations on restaurants and sites, whether you need them or not.

The place was great!!!! Quality fittings and furniture and very clean. Beautiful lanai and very close to the pool access gate. You don't feel like you are in a big complex here as you are near the end of the block of units. If you have mobility issues it is s bit of a walk from the parking area but the golf cart is useful to haul large loads or luggage to and from.
The pool has a large shallow end for toddlers and little kids to play safely in even if the water was a bit on the cool side.
We would definitely stay here again. Beautiful unit and beautiful grounds. Debbie was very helpful as well.

My husband, four children and I just returned from our wonderful vacation in Maui. Debbie's condo was absolutely spotless when we arrived and was perfect for our family. She has every electrical appliance you could wish for in the kitchen, lots of beach towels and fans and AC in every room. The resort was quiet, well-maintained and beautiful. Our only complaint is the strict rule about leaving items out on the lanai. While I understand the reasoning, it's difficult to dry out everything inside the condo and not out in the sunshine. Other than that small thing, I would highly recommend this unit. Thanks Debbie!

We stayed in this condo for three weeks and very much enjoyed our stay. The unit is very well appointed with many items we never would have expected. There is tons of room in this unit for storage of personal items to make the stay more comfortable. You do not need to live out of a suitcase here!! There is a playpen, and we left an inflatable tub that we brought for our little one, but we did have to some baby proofing so nothing would get broken. You would definitely need a vehicle when renting this unit, or be prepared to use the transit system, which only runs every hour each way. There is a small beach that is good for little ones across the street, but if you like to body surf or boogie board, you would need to hit the larger beaches farther south or make the trek to Big Beach past Makena. This unit was very clean and well maintained. Deb was always very helpful, before and during our stay, for helping with any questions we had for activities and what the condo included, as well as ,what was close by. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and it certainly had everything we expected and more. We would stay in this unit again and would recommend it to others. This condo may or may not work for those with young children, depending on your expectations and what you find important. It worked for us, but may not for everyone.

Our group included two seniors, two young adults and a 2 1/2 year old. We could not have planned our vacation better. This rental was perfect for us. The grounds are secure and safe for the 2 year old to have some freedom. The setting is lovely with lhe patio partially enveloped by a thoughtfully planned garden which looks out over a large green space leading up to the gated pool area. The kitchen is well equipped save for the need to hand wash cutlery in order to have enough to get through a full day without having to put on the dishwasher. The area is surprisingly quiet for being so close to South Kihei Road. There is a sandy child friendly beach 5 minutes walk up the road by the whale sanctuary. The unit is spacious and bright. There were ample towel for the kitchen, bath and beach. We are already considering booking for next year. What a great vacation!
