We stayed at the property managed by the Van Gorders. The condo was very well supplied with lots of kitchen equipment and everything we needed for the beach. The three bedrooms were spacious for our family of 4 adults and two children. It was a short walk to the shops at Wailea as well as many restaurants. Also a short drive to the multiple great beaches at Wailea, Makena and Kihei. We did snorkeling and whale watching tours out of nearby Makena Landing. We visited Maui Ocean Center only 20 minutes away. Safeway is 10 minutes away and airport 30 minutes. Our longest drive was 40 minutes up to Lahaina .
Highly recommend renting this unit!!!

We had a wonderful stay. Ideal location with views from lanai of sunset 🌅 over the ocean. Every convenience you could want and features like rainfall shower. Lovely condo, convenient to shops and restaurants, peaceful overlooking golf course. Would love to stay again on a future vacation.

It was a lovely place to stay and well located! The condo was beautifully decorated and made us feel we were in a tropical paradise. We appreciated items left for our use such as coolers, washer/dryer (laundry soap), etc. The owners thought of everything!
Our only suggestion would be if you decide in the future to make some changes to the unit, replace the inside doors with solid doors. The current slatted doors don’t keep out sounds from other parts of the condo.

We were in Maui for a week to celebrate a milestone birthday (5 gal pals). The location was great, the unit was as advertised, spacious, well appointed, and clean. We had ample dishes, towels and beach chairs. The appliances were of good quality and in good shape. The pools and the grounds were lovely and it was an easy walk to the Shops at Wailea as well as Wailea Kitchen, MonkeyPod and a new coffee shop. We would stay here again.

This townhouse was very nice! The view from the lanai is amazing. The home was very comfortable for my family of 5. We appreciated the beach gear - umbrellas - chairs - towels! Also, the kitchen was very nicely stocked.

I stayed here with my wife, kids and my in-laws and it was clean, convenient and comfortable. They had everything that you would need to have an easy vacation. The host provided beach towels, chairs and umbrellas, all toiletries, a fridge full of condiments and lastly I couldn’t believe they even had phone chargers on each of the bedside tables. This location is second to none. I played tennis with my family at the Wailea Tennis Club, had dinner at Monkeypod which is a short walk away and It’s walking distance to Wailea Beach. Overall we were super satisfied with this unit. Thanks Heather and Courtnie for making our stay in Maui extremely enjoyable!

We were so happy when we finally found a 3 bedroom that would perfectly accommodate all 6 of us. We had a spectacular time staying in the condo. The pool was in view of the deck, which was super handy. The Views and the sunsets where unforgettable. The Condo was clean and well stocked. Everyone loved the rainfall showers. Condo felt close to everything that we wanted to do. The Wailea beach path was super close and we enjoyed walking that and watching the sunrise every morning. The only disappointment, was we wished we had another week there.

We have been to Maui many times and had many condo rentals. This is the first time where we have not had to contact the property manager for supplies, utensils or any products. It is fully stocked and well appointed. Location is great. We have also stayed at GC before and the location of this condo in the GC is the best. It is quiet and has an amazing lanai and view. It is extremely spacious and comfortable. Excellent rental in Wailea.

First thing we noticed walking in was the cleanliness, second was the amazing view from the lanai, especially in the evening. We had everything we needed for the beach, to do laundry and to clean up after ourselves. It was also nice having AC. It's a nice little walk to the beach and restaurants. We would definitely stay again if we visit Wailea again.

This rental property exceeded our expectations! From check in to check out, our stay was a breeze. Heather was easy to communicate with throughout our stay and responded quickly to any of our inquiries. The location was perfect with gorgeous views. The property was close enough to either walk or drive to beaches & shopping and tastefully decorated. The lanai was a favorite place to gather and easily accommodated 8 people. The beds & linens were comfortable in spacious rooms, and the kitchen amenities were well stocked. We appreciated the ample beach gear: chairs, coolers, towels, umbrellas & water toys. Loved our stay!

We had a great stay here on our visit to Maui and Heather was great to work with. The property was clean and very beautiful and stocked with everything we needed. We even used some of the umbrellas and chairs for the beach. The place looks exactly like the pictures and there was plenty of space for 5 of us. Sitting on the lanai was the best part for me. It was a little further away from the water than I had thought but it was still close enough for a 10 minute walk or a short drive down.

We have stayed at the Grand Champions on 3 different vacations. Each unit was enjoyable. However, I can attest that Bev and Tony have a condo that far exceeds ANY condo we have rented in the Wailea/Kihei area. Their attention to detail is evident when you discover that everything is provided from kitchen implements to personal items like a first aid kit. We especially appreciated the back pack beach chairs. The condo has been upgraded with central A/C, flat screen TV's and a huge collection of DVD's. Although I enjoyed watching the sunsets on the lanai or the golfers playing below. You can even see the pool to left but not be disturbed by any noise. Everything is newly updated as illustrated in the photos. I forgot to mentioned I really liked the keyless entry lock. No more worrying about getting locked out. My family wanted to return next summer but we discovered the condo is already rented. We are going to try for the summer of 2014. This is a condo worth waiting for. In conclusion, I have been to Maui at least a dozen times and I have never stayed in a more complete and comfortable condo. Once you talk with Bev you will realize how much pride she has in this condo and how honest and sincere she is in dealing with people. I now think of her as a family friend. Rent this condo but keep it a secret please!

We stayed at this beautiful condo in May during our 10 year wedding anniversary with family. We visit Maui every year and stay in Wailea or Kapalua. On this visit, we rented three other condos at the Grand Champions to accommodate the rest of the family, but this gem was by far the best. The condo was very clean and extremely well appointed to entertain....truly the best condo we've rented at the Grand Champions. Bev takes the time to make sure her guests are comfortable and well taken care of. You can see her influence and personality sprinkled throughout this home, and its done very tastefully with good humor. The views from the lanai overlooking the golf course and ocean were beautiful from the second story. We absolutely loved everything about it!
Positives:
Bright, warm and welcoming decor. Updated kitchen and baths. Full size front loading washer & dryer. More extras than most condos: shampoo, body wash, first aid kit, vases, serving platters, spices, paper plates, plastic cups, games, beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler, beach umbrella....and enough TP and paper towels to last more than a week! There is even a wet swifter to keep the tile floors clean for clean freaks like me! We only used the A/C once as the trade winds kept everything cool. My husband played tennis every day as it was only a short walk to the courts. The pool is just next door and viewable from the lanai. The lanai has outdoor dining up to 6 people. Close to upscale hotel resorts for fine dining and fancy foo foo drinks. Close to Ulua Beach for great snorkeling with the family.
Negatives:
Not one thing, other than we wished we stayed longer!

Ahhh....Bev and Tony's gorgeous "home away from home"...simply perfect in every way. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found such a gem on our first try and now look forward to a future of stress-free vacations on the beautiful island of Maui thanks to this wonderful place to stay. There's absolutely nothing that Bev and Tony haven't thought about so your every need is met, from ample communication before your trip, to numerous amenities provided while you are in Maui, to follow-ups to make sure everything is enjoyable. They have put so much love into their home and you feel it when you are there. Once there, you will realize that it is an incredible honor that they have chosen to share such a special place with others. Thank you, Bev and Tony for EVERYTHING! We are counting the days until we can get back to the healing energy of beautiful Maui.

We had a very nice, relaxing stay in this condo. It was very peaceful and we loved the views of the golf course. Morning coffee on the lanai was the perfect way to start each day. The condo easily slept the 6 of us and the amenities were wonderful!

We stayed a week and didn't want to leave! The 2nd story condo was spacious, decorated Hawaiian style and situated perfectly with golf course, ocean and West Maui Mountain views. Everything you need is provided including a pack 'n play, beach toys, etc. The baths and kitchen are well equipped and modern. It's quiet at night and singing birds will wake you in the morning. Can't wait to go back.

We have been coming to Hawaii since the late 70's and this condo is by far our favorite place to stay. The owners have provided everything possible to make your stay comfortable. They have remodeled and everything is up to date including a guest bathroom with marble and travertine! The appliances are new and it is tastefully decorated. It has central air conditioning, high end thread count sheets, a computer and printer, beach accessories.
It provides views of the ocean, mountains and golf course.
It is in a great location for shopping and restaurants, and wonderful spas.
It is exceptionally clean and well cared for. The owners are delightful people to work with and if asked will share some of their favorite places to dine and beach spots.
Once you have stayed here you will want to return again.

Great spot and location. Really like units close proximity to pools and BBQ. Stayed at a few other places and really perfer GC. Close to beach but away from road noise. Ocean view from Lani and fairly private as backs on too golf course. It's our first call when ever we are coming back to Maui.

This is NOT your ordinary vacation rental. The pictures and descriptions don't do justice to the overall experience that we enjoyed staying at the Grand Champions and this specific condo. My husband and I live in a beautiful beach resort in California, so we weren’t sure what our trip to Hawaii would be like. While the beaches, golf and the local cuisine did not disappoint us, we absolutely loved staying at this beautifully decorated and well maintained condo. So much so, in fact, that we came home and tried to duplicate some of the décor that we found in our extraordinary quarters. Everything, and more, was included at the condo from candles to music, to professional cookware in the kitchen and beautiful amenities in the master suite. The pool and golf course right outside the complex made it easy for us to be active but also allowed us to enjoy being at “home" sitting out on the lanai and enjoying the views. We baked, barbequed and walked to the local restaurant. We were also able to visit the pristine beaches and gorgeous Hawaiian landmarks knowing that we could return anytime to the comforts of "home." On our "off tourist" days, we swam and golfed at The Grand Champions and pretended that we lived there full time. We can’t wait to return!
