I’ve stayed at many properties over the years and this is among the best from top to bottom. The view is breathtaking. The accommodations are so incredibly comfortable. The nearby activities and beach are extremely convenient. And the hosts were highly communicative and there to support from start to finish. I’d absolutely stay here again and would recommend to all friends and family! A+

Perfect condo for our family of 5 (3 kids ages 11, 9 and 9). Condo is incredibly well organized and amply stocked with everything you could possibly need, both for enjoying the condo (laundry detergent, trash bags, dishes, utensils, spices, grilling tools, etc.) and enjoying the outdoors (beach towels and chairs, snorkel gear, water shoes, extra sunscreen, tennis rackets, etc.). Condo and grounds look exactly like pictures posted by owner. Laid back vibe at Maui Sunset with lots of families. No issue getting chairs at pool at any time. Only real negative is that the beach by the condo is quite rocky and not ideal for swimming/snorkeling, though using the water shoes helps a lot. One plus for the beach though is that after sunset we saw some turtles emerge and camp for the night on the beach a very short walk from the condo. Overall, we were quite happy with our stay

Great condo! Beautiful view, very well stocked with all things kitchen, pool/beach gear, supplies. Little things like plenty of trash bags, paper towel and high quality toilet paper really made it nice! Took a star off for not disclosing the very loud construction going on. I understand in condo complexes there’s likely always construction but when your kids are woken up by the loud jackhammer from inside their room I think that should have been disclosed and was disappointed paying the summer premium I did to stay there and hear that. Took a video of just how loud it really is and am happy to share with owners if they don’t realize how loud it really gets in there. I know notices are usually sent out to condo owners when construction near them begins and ends but there was no mention to us as renters. It was weekdays only starting at 7-7:30 am and lasted until about 4. So fyi if you’re staying soon something to consider as it looks like it’s not close to being completed.
If construction is completed when we come back we would definitely stay here again- so beautiful and great!!!

Loved how clean and immaculate everything was. I have to say they were very well organized and detail oriented everything was labeled and clear. There were the perfect amount of supplies for our stay, from beach towels to laundry pods, they stocked the place just the right amount. The grounds were very well kept. Pool was clean and very few people there. Beach is good for walking, but not great for wading. We could walk to the market and the flea market easily.

Love the Maui Sunset although older it is nicely maintained and in a great central location. Not real happy with the request to do your towels and linens before you leave!!! Cleaning fee should have covered that. We received 6 bath towels, 6 hand towels, and 4 wash clothes for five people for 9 days. With an early flight we were expected to once again do laundry. Would not rent from these owners again but will return to Maui Sunset

Well-stocked condo with everything you need for a beach vacation - towels, chairs, umbrellas, snorkels. Awesome! Great access to the beach and several nearby larger beach parks for easy day trips. Kihei is a good mix of locals and tourists so it had a laid back, less “resorty” vibe which we appreciated. Great communication with the owners for check-in information and pool time in prep for a red eye home. Would stay here again!

This property was perfect for our needs. We traveled in March, 2023. We are a family of five with three kids ages 9, 11, and 13. The owners were very responsive to our questions. The condo had everything we needed for an enjoyable vacation on Maui including beach chairs, boogie boards, travel coffee mugs, cooler, snorkeling gear, etc. It was very nice to have the two bedrooms and two baths. We also used the murphy bed in the living room, which was perfect. The condo was our home base for the many excursions we had planned that week. The condo has a beautiful view from the lanai. Was perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee or a cocktail. We would definitely recommend this condo to others traveling to Maui.

We loved our stay at this condo in Kihei. The location is incredible. The overall property has great amenities - pool, tennis, putting, grills, and shuffleboard! Really easy ocean access. The owners have a lovely home, everything is extremely organized. We really appreciated all of the gear they shared with us as well - snorkels, chairs, beach towels, tennis rackets, etc!

The condo is immaculate with so much to use to make a special trip. We have our own snorkel gear so we didn’t need any but there is plenty plus chairs and binoculars to see the whales, just many extras. Responsive owners, beautiful views. Short drive to beaches with swimming/snorkeling. The beach behind the building is small but beautiful for watching waves and incredible views of stars at night. Many dogs play in the grassy areas just behind the building which was fun since we are dog lovers (maybe from other properties? It’s a huge open area).

We loved this apartment! Amazing view from the lanai and we saw whales in the distance every morning. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed like snorkeling equipment and beach towels. Our son loved the swimming pool. We loved how easy it was to walk or drive to nearby beaches, restaurants and groceries. Kihei is a charming town.

We LOVED this beautiful condo with unbeatable views and a beautiful relaxing vibe. The home had everything we needed for a great family vacation - the location with the huge grass lawn, cool pool, and long beach for walking was just perfect. We made good use of the snorkeling and beach gear, and having full-size laundry was super helpful. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching families enjoy themselves - private but with a nice community feel. We will be back!

The unit we stayed at has everything we needed! From the kitchen utensils to the bedrooms and bath, it feels like a second home. Every morning we woke up to a beautiful view of the sunrise from the master’s bedroom and in the evening, phenomenal view of the sunset whether it be from the lanai or watching from the seashore (which is steps out the door). We will be coming back for sure. The kids loved the pool and the hut tub as well. It’s just what my heart needed. Thank you to the hosts for maintaining this unit clean and updated.

This was an amazing stay! We had multiple generational family with ages ranging from 14 to 88. The condo was great, just like home away from home. There were many things that were very thoughtful and really made it seem like our home. There were ample comforts of home, beach items, kitchen cooking necessities down to the spices on the spice rack, coffee, you name it they had it! They went above the bare minimum to make your stay amazing. The location was perfect, evening walks along the beach at night would have 40 plus sea turtles every night! The locals said this is a great area to stay. There were lots of food options and a grocery store and drug store within 5 minutes. The sunsets were unbelievable every night! Would definitely return to this rental!!!

Maui Sunset: great central location, close (walk or short drive) to restaurants and many beaches, on the edge of a great beach for walking/playing/turtle spotting/watching kite surfers, great sunsets! Lovely, clean pool.
The unit: beautifully renovated and clean! Perfect location in the building. SOOO well equipped. Literally everything one could possibly need for preparing meals, water sports, picnics, beach days, etc.
The owners: responsive and thorough. Had tons of great advice about beaches/restaurants/things to do.
We had an amazing stay in this beautiful unit with our three kids. They all stayed in the double-twin room and we added an inflatable toddler bed (which just fit!) to avoid having to use the pull out couch or Murphy bed in the living room. The set-up worked great.

My family thoroughly enjoyed this condo! From the location, to the pool/hot tub and beach access, it fit our needs perfectly. The condo itself is beautifully updated and is rather large as far as condos go. We had plenty of room to spread out, and the lanai was wonderful!
The owners are fantastic and easy to work with, quick to respond to any questions. They were also more than accommodating, allowing my family to enter the unit early when my daughter wasn’t feeling her best. It was a nice, human touch which was deeply appreciated.
We hope to rent this unit again next year, as it was a wonderful stay for us. Many thanks to Paul and Joan for a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Space was a bit cramped for the 6 of us, but made up for it by just generally being amazing in all other arenas. Condo had everything we could have wanted and more... complete with snorkels, boogie boards, beach chairs, tennis rackets... even grocery bags! I wish we could have stayed longer! The pull out murphy bed was so comfortable my teens fought over who got to sleep on it. Location couldn't have been better. Word to the wise... wear water shoes if you go in the ocean because there are lots of rocks and urchins. Beach area was very private and beautiful! I can't wait to come back.

We had a great family vacation at this rental. It was well stocked with nice beach equipment and great kitchen. The linai was fantastic with its ocean views. Tons of hooks to hang towels and wet swimsuits. They had fun games as well. It was a well-thought through update for the place. Can’t wait to go back.

We traveled as a family of four plus grandma to Hawaii and stayed in this newly remodeled unit that has an amazing view. Plenty of cookware, utensils, and accessories in the kitchen. They also provided beach chairs and an umbrella and other fun tools that made the trip extra special. Would highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay. There are likely cheaper options and likely as good. However, we were charged for the sheets (!) and threatened with charges for a bed frame (until they deduced it was fine). Surprised we were not charged for the already broken toaster and chipped plates. My wife is a nurse practitioner and I am a physician; we don’t go around doing harm. Proceed with caution

Our fifth trip to Hawaii and first to Kihei, we loved this place. Beautifully and tastefully equipped, close to many restaurants and markets. We saw breaching whales from the lanai, and toasted a beautiful sunset every night. The only thing I would change - which no one can - is the rocky beach. Thankfully, the hosts have plenty of water shoes you can wear if you’re going into the water. We had a few minor glitches, but these were quickly resolved with the host.

This was a trip of a lifetime for our family and we felt so fortunate to call this our home base. The condo has been gorgeously renovated and provided us with everything we needed during our stay. It’s a fantastic location with easy access to grocery stores and restaurants. We also found it to be a great location for our many day excursions throughout our stay. The beach in front of the property was a gem and provided our 3 boys with lots to explore. I hope that we found ourselves back in Maui one day! I could not imagine staying at a nicer placer place. This condo, recently updated was the most beautiful condo in the entire complex. It has much more than is even in the listing, and the views are truly million dollar views. We will definitely be back and encourage anyone one who is thinking about the maui area to take a look at this. It was perfect.

Inside: The condo is beautifully decorated (we looked up a few of the artists because we like them so much!) and nicely stocked with all the kitchen items needed. We really appreciated having well stocked paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher tabs, and laundry cleaners. I'll add that the vacuum and brooms helped us keep things tidy during our stay as well. The lanai is a great size and has two bins that have beach chairs, beach toys, scuba gear, umbrella, and boogie boards. The bedrooms have comfortable bed and A/C.
Outside: The pool is lovely and cleaned daily. There are shuffle boards available as well. The park, which is located in front of the property, has tennis courts and a huge lawn area, which is great for playing bocce ball. It's a fun, lively area that is closed at night so you aren't hearing people all night long. The beach is a short walk and perfect for setting out some chairs to relax and watch the sun set.
We enjoyed our stay and found the condo to be perfect for a relaxing vacation.

We have vacationed on Maui many times yet have never stayed in Kihei until this time. We love Lahaina and Kaanapali, but wanted to try something new. This location was PERFECT! It was close to everything but far enough away to not feel crowded. The sunsets from the deck were gorgeous or you could enjoy them from the beach which was just a few steps away across a well maintained lawn.
We spent time on the beach enjoying the soft sand and gentle waves. From about 11:30am until 2:00pm each day, when the winds picked up, we would shower off and enjoy the well maintained swim pool and jacuzzi.
The unit itself is beautiful and well maintained. The kitchen is large enough for four adults to cook and hang out in, and the bedrooms are large, cool and comfortable. Everything was clean and well arranged. The owners contacted us prior to our trip to see if we had any questions or wanted any suggestions. They were helpful and kind. We absolutely loved this unit and location and will definitely be back again.

We had a great experience at "our" condo (we wish). It was perfect for 4 adults, 1 teen & 1 pre-teen. We loved the location, away from all the traffic found in Lahaina ... but with plenty of good restaurants close by.
I can't remember what the pre-renovation pictures looked like, but the reno condo is just gorgeous. Plenty of dishes, utensils, appliances, etc. We lacked for nothing. And the sunsets, of course! Can't do any better view on the island.

The condo was amazing!!! Pictures do not do it justice. It was brand new and perfect inside!! Outside of condo is showing some age and we got kinda worried checking in but when we walked in our unit, WOW!!!! It was superb!! We had a blast touring everything on the island and our host was so helpful. They had beach chairs, snorking gear, everything we needed all week. Just bring a couple outfits and whatever food you want to cook. The kitchen was even stocked way more than any rental I have ever been in. The owner told us what to go see and do and I want to tell everyone to buy the GyPSy Guide on your phone for a personal tour guide while driving around. We had the best week!!! Thanks for all your help!

We were here for a week with our three teens. It was a super updated condo with an outfitted kitchen that had anything you needed. Loved the location. The view was great for morning coffee and gorgeous sunsets. Very happy with our time there. Paul even called to make sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this condo!

This condo had EVERYTHING we needed…a beautiful view, large kitchen for fixing our family’s meals, a beach right outside our building, a large pool & hot tub and washer and dryer. Whenever we can return to Maui, we will rent here again. It’s located away from high rises but close to some awesome beaches with snorkeling!

We had a great time here! The condo and location was great, but we also had a vehicle to get around in. It was a little busier than we expected, lots if kids in the pool. The sunset was beautiful every evening, both from the shore and the Lanai. The condo came equipped with everything we needed, from beach chairs to binoculars! The wind made it hard to bbq, so we ended up cooking our burgers inside. There’s a public parking lot/bathroom that shares the same beach area, so it got a little busy on the beach - mostly in the evening. The owners were very easy to communicate with and allowed for a late check-out, which was much appreciated!
