Through no fault of the owner the water had to be shut off on three separate times during our stay. Twice for one hour and the last time from 10 am to 7 pm. This didn't interfere with our stay and the property is going through a renovation. We really like this unit, and the owner is great to work with. We have stayed here in the past and plan on renting it again.

Kaanapali Villas is a superb location with great on site amenities. Complimentary coffee in the morning, ping pong, shuffleboard, plenty of books to read, main pool, on site restaurant , and so close to the beach. They also have a separate room where you can take a shower after you have checked out if you have a late departure.
Nathan was excellent with communication and very accommodating. We would definitely stay again.

We've stayed at MKV in the past so I'm sure this property would have met our high expectations. However, due to a medical emergency, we had to cancel our trip at the last minute. Nathan was so kind and generous, he gave us a refund even though we were outside the refund window. Something he definitely didn't have to do. That in itself is an owner with integrity, grace and kindness. Thank you again Nathan!! I would recommend this property just for this reason.

Wonderful pool and incredible beach. Condo felt like home from first entry. Super clean and all we could hope for available. Made daily use of the Tommy Bahamas beach chairs. Castaways restaurant right on site was excellent as well. Can't wait for our next stay!

Great location right just a short walk off of Kaanapali beach. We didn't use any of the resort amenities, but looked adequate. condo was just as advertised. Beach chairs, umbrellas included. Full kitchen if you wanted to cook at home. Would stay again

Although there was some confusion about bedding, since this unit isn’t managed by the resort, Nathan was very responsive and got it sorted out. The condo is very spacious and well stocked, from kitchen gear to beach gear. My son enjoyed the pool and beach just steps away. It was amazing to be able to boogie board and snorkel (in winter) without having to drive anywhere. We walked to black rock and whaler’s village almost every day.

The unit was perfect for our family of 4, short walk to pool & ocean. Owner has beach chairs/umbrellas/boogie boards available for use. Less than 10 minute drive to grocery store and kitchen had everything we needed to make meals there. No washer/dryer in unit, there is a coin pay laundry room in the Condo facility - had to use a few times for our towels.

This unit had everything we expected. The parking lot view was surprisingly pleasant. There was a peekaboo view of the ocean and when you opened the sliding doors you could hear birds chirping. There was no road noise. The bathroom area was spacious enough for 4 adults and the pullout bed was comfortable. The shower did not ever get completely warm - not sure why. I would recommend this unit!

First time in Maui and couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Fantastic beach at the resort and a beautiful beach walk from the resort that is stroller friendly. The condo had all the amenities we needed for our 14 month old.

This place has it all! It is open, spacious, comfortable, and offers everything you would need for your stay! My family enjoyed this property very much. We used the pool, one of our favorite beaches is steps away, and the resort offered us storage, the pool, and even a shower while we where checked out waiting for our late night flight! We would highly recommend this property! Thank you!

This resort is amazing. Most beautiful beach we’d ever seen. The pool is really nice too.. The unit has beach gear for use and kitchen is well stocked. You can rent kayaks or paddle boards, etc on the beach. Comfy beds and separate thermostat for bedroom and living space. Our son slept on the pull out bed and was very comfortable. Spacious living area. You can’t really go out on the patio but you can open the double doors and close the screens and feel like you are eating outdoors.

We absolutely loved MKV and this property. After being in the hustle and bustle of Waikiki for 4 days- we were seriously so happy to stay in such a beautiful setting g for the next 6 days. The condo was fantastic- we had everything we needed there. Very spacious- more so than I anticipated. The gardens are so beautiful on the property, as was the pool and beach. We could always find chairs either at the pool or on the lawn- or could bring our own chairs (from the condo) to the beach. So glad we stayed here instead of on the other side of black rock- it was so much nicer and everything is still super close. Really recommend going to the food trucks a few miles up the road- awesome food. Thank you Nathan for such a great stay- we really enjoyed it!

Our family of four just spent 4 night at this wonderful apartment. Nathan was super helpful and made the whole process a breeze. The Condo was very clean and had absolutely EVERYTHING you could ever need. Resort is in a great location and the free shuttle trolley to the Whalers was super handy. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again. Thanks Nathan, we loved it!

The condo was great- nicely located close to the beach and very spacious. A much more affordable option than staying at a resort.
A few things- the fan in the main area made a grinding noise when it was on. Also, the vents were pretty dusty.

We used this condo for a 1 day stay prior to a red-eye flight home. It worked out great. Although we weren’t able to check in earlier than 3 due to another party checking out the same day (we had to vacate our other condo by 10am) we were able to use a courtesy room to change into bathing suits and then use the pool, restaurant and beach facilities all day. We checked in at 3 and were able to shower, and rest prior to our flight. We didn’t use much in the condo but saw that it had nice beach chairs, boogie boards and an umbrella. Seemed very well suited for a group wanting to enjoy the beach. And the beach at the condo is amazing!

Our family stayed at this property at the end of January and had a wonderful time. The condo was the perfect size for our family of four. It was equipped with everything we needed to cook meals. The property has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The main pool was fantastic. The beautiful beach was perfect for swimming, snorkeling and relaxing. We walked down the Beachwalk almost daily and went to the Whalers Village for shopping, restaurants, and gelato. I'm so thankful that we found this property. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time the condo is well equipped and has good views. There was only 1 hic up. Tiny little bugs on the kitchen counters! Other than that little problem we’re planning on returning in 2 years if your place is available!

Nathan was great to communicate with and the unit was as shown in the pictures. The place was well stocked with towels, bedding, equipment for babies/toddlers, lots of useful kitchen items (food storage containers, ziplock bags, spices etc.).
We had a wonderful time taking our toddler to Maui for the first time and staying at MKV was a huge part of the experience - Castaways happy hour and live music, the pool and beach so handy, a great place to come back to at the end of the day.
Would definitely stay here again - thank you for everything Nathan!

The villas are brilliantly situated right above the tourist area and afford a wonderful walk to the beach and nearby pool access. Would highly recommend the area to anyone looking for a reasonable alternative to a hotel.

We had a wonderful time at this location. We have two older children (12 and 17) who fit very comfortably in the condo. Everything was just right, from the location, resort amenities, kitchen utensils etc. Would highly recommend!!

The villa was beautiful and the view outside of the trees were nice. The unit was well stocked, but I had no need to use any of the appliances since we ate out. We kept the AC off and just left the sliding doors wide open all day and all night. The breeze was perfect! The first night it was nice and peaceful, you can hear the beach. However, the following nights they turned on the sprinklers all night which were loud. I kept thinking there was a rainstorm. At least it shut off in the early morning and I was able to wake up to the birds singing. Minor issues: there was one of those “fluid” stains on the blankets that I didn’t notice til my last morning. There were also smalls insects in the counter, but I kept snacks in the fridge or on the table. Insects are to be expected as it’s an island. No bother there. Staff wasn’t too welcoming, but my interaction with them was minimal. I Short walk to the pool and beach. I would book the same room over and over again!

We had a wonderful time at Nathan's place for 2 weeks in Maui with our daughter. Place was spotless and extremely spacious.
Great location. We regularly rode the trolley to get around in the immediate area. The beach is spectacular and not at all crowded, and the cafe is good on property! The property itself is chill and relaxing. Very different from the party-like atmosphere at the Hyatt. Was perfect for my little family of 3. The pool was nice and generally not crowded and the staff onsite was pleasant.
After spending time around the island, I would stay in this location again and again. It was the right vibe for us and we hope to return soon. Communication with Nathan was great, and I cannot recommend this place enough.

This condo exceeded our expectations! Very clean and spacious enough for four. Nice island decor, and partial ocean view. Well appointed kitchen that had mostly everything we needed to cook many meals. Appreciated the full size fridge with ice maker (can't take that for granted). Master bed was comfortable! and AC was ice cold, which felt great after the hot days. Quick walk to pool and beach, and only a quarter mile walk north up the beach to an awesome snorkeling spot. Would Recommend

Overall - the place was fine. There were tiny bugs on the counters, but we kept all food in fridge, so they didn't get into it. The balcony is for standing only - too narrow for chairs. MKV is a great beach.

Nathan was very responsive prior to our vacation and when we arrived. We needed some extra bedding and a coffee carafe upon arrival and within a few hours we had our requests met. The location was wonderful. Had a view of the ocean from afar…the condo was very large for a one bedroom. With a family of 4 an additional 1/2 bath would have been wonderful. The queen hide-a-bed and a air mattress helped with 2 teenage sons.The fitness center was a added bonus, the pool was wonderful and of course the beach/ocean was amazing. We stayed for 16 days and shopped at Costco, Safeway and Times Market. I would rent again from Nathan.

We loved this Condo! Much bigger then we expected. We went grocery shopping and had our friends over for breakfast several times. We packed lunches, snacks, and drinks in cooler for the beach. The beach chairs, umbrella and boggie boards were so handy. Great.beach right next door to Westin that has great snorkeling. Pool was nice and never crowded when we were there. Castaways was super convenient and decent food and drinks.

We had a wonderful experience at our MKV condo. The place was fully stocked with everything you need—the umbrella, beach chairs, drying rack, and unlimited beach towels were much appreciated. The condo is located a short distance from a beautiful pool and a pristine sandy beach. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Nathan was a great host—he made helpful suggestions when we had questions and was timely in his responses. The area in general does not have great WiFi or Verizon cell service, but Nathan suggested the condo lobby, which worked great for basic email. Thank you Nathan!
