This unit has great potential however electrical outlets inside and outside will not meet electrical code. It would be nice to have instructions for TV usage. Cupboards and countertops nicely updated. Staircase needs work and refinishing. Floors in bedrooms need updating either new carpet or flooring. Nail/pin was in downstairs bedroom carpet in which my brother in law was stuck with in foot. He bleed steady from wound until stopped with pressure. We cleaned floor and placed pin in ashtray by phone. We appreciated the abundance of towels and wash clothes. Nice appliances and kitchen supplies for usage. Thanks for allowing us to use your unit as we had enjoyable two weeks.

I only ever want to stay at Kam Sands! The grounds are immaculate. The condos are quiet and peaceful. The pool is well maintained. The staff is so friendly. This suite was so stocked with everything we could ever need for our stay. We are incredibly happy with this unit! Will be back for sure. Aloha and Mahalo!

Have stayed at this complex before. It’s in a good area right across from beach. Enjoyed using the gym. Pool area was small but ok. Wish there was additional pool for how many units there are on the property. Pool always looked cloudy and had a lot of film stuff floating on the top. We had a nice stay and property is located near lots of restaurants within walking distance which was nice.

We spent 14 great days in this unit, it has spectacular sunset views and a large lanai, where we ate our dinner many nights. The unit is very nice and roomy and the AC worked very well. The unit is in need of some TLC, and an update and maintenance. Though very good value for your money.
The kitchen is well equipped with all pots, pans and dinnerware and a large selection of spices. The supply of plastic containers was very helpful, for taking snacks with us or storing leftovers. It would have been nice to have a cooler, especially when we were there, as we experienced a heat wave, with temperatures in the high 90's every day.
The storage bin on the lanai was full of beach stuff, but we had to purchase a beach umbrella, as the one there was missing the bottom portion. There were 4 Tommy Bahama beach chairs, beach mats and a small boogie board.
Again, we had a great time staying here and it was great value for the price, we definitely would rent this unit again.

Great location and complex amenities. Unit was clean, but is tired and needs updating. Has 4 beach chairs and 2 umbrellas (one of which had a canopy and no bottom). Kitchen is stocked with what you would need, but has a mixed assortment of pots, pans, and lids. Unit has great view of beach and has view of pool & courtyard. Several bbq areas around complex and they are well taken care of. Best ones were NE corner as there was never anyone there and bbq’s were virtually new and unused. Ultimately this is one of the best locations right across street from Kamaole III beach. Easy drive to other beaches and short walk down to Moose McGillycuddy’s and Fred’s Mexican (Taco Tuesday happy hour).

Everything needed for a vacation getaway😁🌺 The kitchen was stocked with the cookware you would need to make a nice meal (even though we ate out except for poke and food truck)! The seafood food truck near ABC is amazing (I’m a flight attendant and eat there often). Hawaiian Moons is great for fresh juice and sandwiches for the beach! We had one issue with the downstairs shower not draining proper, but it was fixed in a day bc and there was another shower upstairs. The beds were comfy and it was nice being awakened by island birds. The washer and dryer worked great, so we came home with clean clothes! Remember to pack laundry pods and dryer sheets!It was perfect to have beach chairs available, also some snorkel equipment and an umbrella or two (my hubby used one and it was short, but still helpful).Great vacation! Road to Hana (to upper falls), Black Rock beach, and Dragons Teeth (can jump off cliffs at all three), and a snorkel trip was our fave!

Location of Kamaole Sands resort is great for exploring Maui! The property grounds was lovely and clean and well taken care of. This specific unit had everything we needed including a full kitchen, beach chairs, towels, and snorkeling equipment. There was some need for TLC regarding the entrance walls, the carpeting, curtains, and bedding (bedskirts) as there were many visible stains as well as wear and tear.

Place has great view, great space work great for family of four. However we had few maintenance issues with fridge, dishwasher, bath tub. They all got fix very quickly those. They need to added house hold utensils they were very limited and hard to make few meals or take anything out for lunches as it was all glass. Not lot of plastic or Tupperware for outing or pool side for snacks. The loft bed was not very strong any movement and it felt like it would break. Beds in down stairs were great no issues at all.

Unfortunately, there were cleaning issues on arrival - the floor had not been mopped (&probably not vaccuumed). Cleaning supplies were non-existent until the very helpful staff from Maui Rentals rectified things.
An excellent location, but this condo needs some serious renovations & a closer check on cleaning staff!

We spent 12 nights at this condo during our month long stay in the islands. The location, property grounds and pool are excellent. The condo itself is nice and was very clean. It has a large mostly private lanai, tile floors except in the bedrooms which are carpeted. It was well stocked. The nicest thing about this condo is the air conditioning. Essentially, each area has its own A/C, which the two main are incredibly quiet. The main bathroom is really nice with the walk-in shower, we did not use the 2nd bathroom but it was looked nice as well. The kitchen area is quite large with plenty of counter space. We also like the keyless entry. Though, like nearly all condos we have stayed in, there is a need for some TLC. The location is fantastic and the condo is nice. We would stay at this condo again.

My family stayed there for a week in October 2021 and it was perfect for us. Walking distance to the beach, condo had everything we needed, and very close to the pool. There was an issue with the washer leaking but the management company was very communicable and respected our time. Recommended!

Nothing can be perfect but when it comes to take a decision , this is the best choice to have. Only issue was that Air conditioner cooling was not working and some sand here and their which is expected in Hawaii. This place is mid point for places one wants to visit in Maui. Another issue was that this place is best suited for 4 people as adult and 1 as kid . One bed is king size and another one is queen. Until and unless you are slim to accommodate.Great place and great stay.

Once we got through the front desk check in this place was great! Our condo building was set back by the pool but still had a good view of the ocean. Seems like most are positioned to have a view. Our room had good amenities for our family of four. It was clean and everything was in good working condition. The lanai table and chairs was perfect to have a couple of our friends up in the evening to enjoy the ocean breeze and a mai tai. Overall great experience.

Our overall impression of this property, as well as, surrounding areas of this complex is 5 stars. However, one thing that might be a recommendation would be an additional AC unit in the loft area. Even with the AC unit running downstairs, the ceiling fans and individual floor fans the loft area was uncomfortably hot. As far as the rest of the unit - it was clean, inviting and full stocked with all the essentials. The surrounding outside area of the complex was breathtaking and made waking up every morning to truly be a day in paradise.

The check in process with the registration office was a long wait but once we received help, our concierge was very helpful and made it quick. The room was clean and well stocked, although if you plan on cooking you may need to purchase/bring a large frying pan. The closet on the lanai was well stocked with everything you need for a beach trip(chairs, umbrella, snorkels, and sand toys ect.) the upstairs got a little hot at night, but the fan next to the bed helped.

I would recommend this place as a great place for a value. The fee we paid was very reasonable for what we got. We were so happy to find beach chairs and other items in the storage unit. Perhaps they were left by other guests, but definitely nice to have.
