This unit has a great location and view! It is well equipped with just about everything you need. The five of us were quite comfortable and it could handle several more very well. We have a timeshare at Sands of Kahana and the rest of our family stayed there which was convenient, and we obviously love the complex. This review must include how saddened we all are for the people and town of Lahaina. We are grateful for the time there just before it happened, but send heartfelt thoughts and prayers to those in Maui. I do believe those going to the island now will help support all the surrounding area businesses and people however. So, again, we do highly recommend choosing this unit!

We had a wonderful visit to Maui! The accommodations were great - perfect for our large group of 7 adults. Plenty of space, gorgeous views, kitchen was well-stocked so we could do our own cooking, the entire unit was super comfortable for our needs. Everyone we worked with - from the owner to the property management company to the onsite staff - were very communicative and fabulous. Would definitely stay here again!

This property was perfect for my husband and me, our grown children and a 21 month old grandbaby! The kitchen was so well appointed - spices, Tupperware, pans, utensils, pitchers...there wasn't one item I thought I needed.
The restaurant s great for lunch or casual dinner. Probably the best $8 Mai Tai I've ever had.
The beach is just steps from the unit. Swimming with the turtles was fabulous! We slept with the windows wide open to the sound of the breaking waves - no need for air conditioning.
The unit is quite large - perfect for a toddle...very safe.
Lots of board games, pool toys and pool towels. The owner was very good at staying in touch to make sure check in went well (it did).

I had the pleasure of traveling with my 80 something mom and step-dad, my daughter, son-in-law and sister to Maui. The condo was everything we dreamed about. The view was worth a million dollars, the rooms were comfortable and the staff was attentive. What a special place! We’ll be back.

Whales and turtles viewable from the balcony and livingroom. Sunsets on the ocean every night it's not cloudy. Moonlight on ocean for spectacular night views. Excellent entertainment space in kitchen livingroom and terrace. 6 beds in 3 bedrooms with two full bathrooms. Did not use the sleeper sofas. Great beach below, and 5 minute drive to full grocery store and amazing lava rock beach hikes. Little market across the street and restaurants, as well as a restaurant on site. 30 minutes from Molikini launches and a little more to sunflower fields, fresh coconuts. Great place!!! Snorkels, flippers and beach gear in unit abd kayaks and paddleboards below on beach.

We visited Maui with all our children and grandchildren. Seven of us stayed in this condo. The trip was planned as my 44 y/o daughter,'s dream vacation. Unfortunately, she lost her battle with cancer between planning and completion of the trip. This condo would have fulfilled everything she dreamed about. The view and the whale activity were beyond amazing. The condo location was perfect for activities, shopping, beaches, etc. The amenities and cleanliness were beyond expectations. A very spacious condo with plenty of room for family. This unit is well stocked and managed by the owner down to every detail. The owner was very much involved and direct communication was deeply appreciated, as well as local contact information in case of problems. Best VRBO I have ever stayed in. Overall, we were very happy with the unit and everything associated with it. It met our needs perfectly for a family of 9. The unit was a little dated in a few ways and a few minor things in disrepair, but nothing at all that hindered our stay or enjoyment. Rob was fantastic. We would absolutely stay again.

This was our first time staying at a VRBO and all I can say is wow. The owner was very nice and helpful and their place was amazing. All the rooms were as pictured with one hiccup, we thought the room with the twin beds and the other room shared the small balcony but no biggie. There are plenty of places to dine out or stores to grab groceries. We loved the BBQ area after a long day snorkeling searching for turtles (which we found) and boogie boarding. There was gear at the place but with our adult children we ended up going to Boss Frog's across the street and renting gear, they were super friendly. We went zip lining, watched the whales and just chilled on the beach with the chairs the place had, it all was amazing. My husband and I didn't want to leave, we can't wait to come back here! Mahalo

It was awesome to wake up to beautiful ocean views and watch amazing sunsets at night. The clean and well kept condo was large enough for all of us to spend time together or enjoy alone time. The beach/ocean was so close you could hear and see the waves from the spacious balcony. The staff at the complex were friendly and helpful.

We started every morning enjoying coffee on the lanai, and ended almost every day with drinks on the lanai while watching the sun set. We made good use of the kitchen in the unit as well as the many grills that are available at ground level. The parking garage under the building was very convenient and made packing up for outings easy. This was our first trip to any of the Hawaiian Islands and it won't be our last. We had a great vacation and all in our party agree that this unit was an excellent choice.

This unit did not meet my expectations, it greatly exceeded them!! Great communication with property owner and property management. Details provided prior to the trip were excellent. Location was great, it had a perfect ocean view. My 85 year old mom was able to watch her family in the ocean from the lanai. The sunset views from the lanai were breathtaking. The property was easy to navigate with my mom’s walker. The unit is large and comfortable. Property owner was wonderful to work with. My only complaint was that we weren’t able to stay longer :)

If I could give more stars, I would. This condo exceeded all expectations! The amenities are more than you could ask for, the view is stunning. Every second of everyday blurred out our chaotic mainland lives. I had a group of 9, traveling with my family including a 2 year old and a 16 year old. They both LOVED it. My toddler son loved the bath and the view plus the awesome splash area, my teenage daughter loved the kayaks, snorkeling and gorgeous sunsets. My mom and grandparents loved the breeze in the afternoon and evening, the close proximity to EVERYTHING we wanted to do on the island, on site and the authentic Hawaii feel. I can’t say enough about this place and Robert-he was the most gracious host and helped me when my airline was cancelled last min. An amazing place with an amazing host. We will be back, not just to Maui-but to your condo!!! There is a reason this is booked for months and months on end. You do it right. Thank you times a million!!

Property was perfect with an amazing view! Unit was exactly as advertised. We had 9 adults and two children- ages 2 and 5 months and there was plenty of room. Unit was well equipped with the basics so we didn’t have to spend tons of money on the basics. Pool area was great. Beach was never crowded and was so clean. There is no comparison between HI beaches and mainland beaches. We loved our stay and will definitely rent again.

What an amazing condo. I don’t think I’ll ever get over the view of the ocean!
Everything was so well laid out from the fully equipped kitchen to the very comfortable bedrooms. The lanai patio furniture was fabulous and we spent much of our time outside watching sea turtles pop their heads out of the water. Rainbows every day- sometimes multiple times a day. The beach is quiet and a perfect place for swimming, snorkeling and seeing sea turtles!!
The property managers were very responsive to any quick fixes that needed to be done as was Rob when I emailed a couple of questions. Couldn’t ask for more!
I highly recommend staying this unit and I look forward to returning to Maui again one day. Thank you Rob for providing us with a fabulous place to stay during our first visit to Maui.

When we first checked in, it seemed like housekeeping had missed the unit after the previous guests. Sand everywhere, coffee spilled on cupboards, garbage left in the cans, food crumbs on the countertops, a dead cockroach in the middle of the kitchen, and small pieces of glass in the living room! We weren't able to get assistance from the property management, but the owner was helpful in getting things moved along for us. The unit and island were beautiful, and we had a wonderful time until the day of checkout. Checkout time was supposed to be 11 AM, but not even 10:30 yet and housekeeping was waiting outside our door to clean and our keys no longer worked. WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN!

We have stayed here before so we knew exactly what to expect! We started our days with coffee on the balcony watching the whales migrate past the island, spent the afternoons splashing in the waves at the beach and ended the day BBQing dinner. We stayed at the condo as much as we could because everything is right there! Best location! The condo was clean, cool, roomy and comfortable. We washed a load of laundry daily which makes all the difference when you pack light!! We love this condo and will be back for years come! Rob was amazing and so responsive. I appreciate all of the personal communication prior to arrival so that check in was smooth. Best vacation!

We were in paradise for the week we stayed! We had beachfront breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday! We had fun watching for whales, surffers and the amazing sunsets!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here! The location was unbeatable, right on the water, close to shops/restaurants, and amazing snorkeling and beaches just steps away. The unit was even larger than expected, and had so many additional unexpected amenities. It was such a great addition to have snorkeling gear, chairs, boogie boards, etc. The unit was clean, comfortable, & had everything we could have needed. The balcony overlooking the water was our favorite part, and was a perfect way to enjoy breakfast overlooking the ocean to start the day. We felt the value of this property was great & we will absolutely come back & stay here again!

This is our second time staying at your condo Virginia and Rob, it was great like last time. one of the lanai chairs had a bolt missing and another chair had a bolt coming loose and the side lanai curtain needs one of the pulleys to be re-anchored. Minor inconveniences. the new floors were nice and everything else was perfect. Love the view, its spectacular,the whales were performing above expectations :)

We had a 2 and 3 year old traveling with us. This property is perfect for kids. The kiddie pool is fantastic and the condo had a bag of sand toys. We all had a great time but the kids… they had all their best days ever.

We rented this unit mainly for the location and the price. Beautiful ocean front property with amazing views. The unit is well appointed with basic amenities and comfortable beds. The furniture is a bit dated but we weren't inside much. The owner was really nice. Checking in and out are easy. The unit was comfortable for all 6 adults. We had a nice week long stay

This is a great condo. Very spacious and clean. The 2 lanais have fantastic views of the beach and neighboring islands. the appliances are in good condition and the dishwasher and laundry machines are brand new. The beach outside the building is very nice. the waves are fairly calm here relative to some other places on the island. Rob was very communicative before and during the stay. if you are wanting to stay on the west side of Maui, this is a great place to rent out.

Renting a property sight unseen can be daunting. but with this property we were quit pleased. The unit was spacious and clean.
The property had its own beach and a restaurant on site. we would definitely rent this unit again and probably will do when we go to Maui in the future.

What a condo, the photos do NOT do this place justice. This is an immaculately clean 3 bedroom condo with breath taking views of the sea, sunsets, islands, etc. This was our first time using this owner and we have already made contact for a second trip. Robert is very professional, responds quickly to your emails. The washer in the unit was in need of repair while we were there, and Robert made arrangements for us to do our laundry in a vacant unit. THAT is hospitality at it's finest!
This condo lacks nothing. Plenty of linens, towels, soap etc. Not to mention a closet FULL of water toys, snorkel gear, boogie boards, ice chest, and board games galore. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare meals for 2 - 10. The only thing we had to do was stop by the grocery, (We chose Costco outside the airport). This is the PERFECT place for couples or families with children of any age. We had a mobility challenged person in our group and the spaciousness of this condo, along with a shower that has a built in seat allowed easy and unassisted living for them.
There is a diningroom table that seats 6 with ease, we didn't use it because there is a fantastic outdoor set on the lanai. The livingroom is large and open. Love that both bathroom and shower have thier own vanity area with double sinks. This made getting a group of people ready for Luau, so easy!
I cannot say enough positive things about working with Robert or staying in his home/condo.

The Condo is huge, and the views are even better than in the pictures. The closet is well stocked with beach toys for the kids. Remember to keep the screen doors to the lanai closed though, as there are some cheeky birds who will fly right into the kitchen, eat your banana bread, and fly out again.

This 5th floor ocean front condo may be one of the best values on Maui! We rented two units in this building and without question this 5th floor unit was superior. The unit lived up to all of our expectations with plenty of space for 5 of us. Rob was great to work with, prompt to follow up and very professional. Ocean views are a must have for me and this unit hit the mark, we could sit out on the ocean front patio watching the whales and end each day with a incredible sunset. Air conditioning unit worked great, the unit was clean and well stocked to meet our needs. The BBQ grills located at this property are kept exceptionally clean and are cleaned daily. We ate at the onsite restaurant a couple of times and found the food to be good, the calamari to be great & a nice place to grab a refreshing beverage. We spent many days just lounging on the beach and even watched several turtles come up to sun themselves. Grocery stores are located nearby(within 10 minutes) and the Maui Brewing Co is within walking distance, try the Jambalaya, it is exceptional. If you are looking for a great condo that is an exceptional value and owned by honest and professional people then this unit is for you. I know that I would recommend this to my friends if they are ever looking for a place to stay in Maui.

It is very difficult to put into words our first impressions of this 5th floor Oceanfront Maui Condo. There were 6 adults in our party and every one of us was awe-struck by the view from this huge condo, it was truly spectacular. We stayed 10 days and spent several hours each morning and evening watching the sunrise and set. We slept with the windows and sliders open to the sound of the waves on the beach just down below. The condo was big enough that the six of us had plenty of room and did not feel we were on top of each other. The unit was clean and well stocked with everything we needed to have coffee, breakfast and even a BBQ to fix dinner. There were plenty of sheets and towels, as well as a washer and dryer if needed. The closet was full of beach chairs, an ice chest, games and beach toys. The grounds were cleaned each evening and morning by quiet professional staff. The pool was lovely to cool off after a long day at the beach. The restaurant was quiet and romantic and the food was very good. There is also a wonderful little bar across the street (Dolly's) that makes great pizza. We loved the location of the condo as well, we love to spend time in Lahaina, Kaanapali, Kapalua and Napili, Kahana is central to all of these destinations. The beach out front is wonderful and not too crowded, it was fun to watch the paddle boarders each morning at sunrise. Our experience was truly amazing and we can't wait to go back. We just returned home and back to reality after our 10 night stay in this incredible condo! We booked this huge condo almost a year in advance and I feel we were lucky to get the dates we needed over New Year's, a very busy time in Maui. The owners were a pleasure to work with and offer flexible terms for payment. I did my homework and read ALL of the reviews before choosing this unit, which stood out based on size, location and PRICE! Upon entering the condo, your breath is taken away when you look out the huge window to the ocean. It is truly a postcard-worthy view! There were 10 of us in our family (9 adults, 1 child) and there was more than enough space for all of us. The unit is on the 5th floor literally just feet away from the beach. We left the windows and sliding glass door to the Lanai open all night and were lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves crashing on the shoreline beneath us. The unit actually has 2 Lanai's, the first being completely oceanfront with seating for at least 8, and the second having ocean and courtyard views with more privacy.
The unit comes fully stocked with practically every amenity you will need for your stay in Maui. The kitchen area is huge with a ton of counter space, plenty of storage and nice appliances. The unit has central air conditioning and laundry, which were important features for us. Many units in Maui do not have either, most have one or the other. There is a closet full of games and beach toys which was just another perk to this unit.
The Resort complex was just as incredible. We were greeted with a smile and "Aloha" upon check in, which set the tone for a wonderful stay. The complex has a beautiful pool area, a separate kids pool, nice restaurant, numerous BBQ's, water sports rental kiosk, putting green, grassy area for sunbathing (besides the pool area), and so much more. The complex is located in Kahana, directly between Kaanapali and Kapalua, just 15 minutes north of Lahaina, the center of attention for the West End of Maui. There is shopping galore at Whalers Village (Kaanapali), Outlet Stores (Lahaina) and cool boutique shops, galleries and restaurants (Front St. Lahaina). World Class Golf is just minutes away as are so many other fun activities that Maui has to offer.
This unit and complex far exceeded the expectations of me and my family as you can tell. I cannot recommend it with any higher praise. We cannot wait to return for another incredible stay here. Thank You Rob & Virginia!

Just got back from a great time in Maui. This condo is very clean and well furnished and has everything you need. Watching the sunsets were wonderful, you can open the windows and hear the waves which was so relaxing. Being disabled I found this place easy to get around, the elevator is right around the corner. For your shopping needs there is a grocery store right down the road everything was easy to get to. All in all this is a beautiful place and you would greatly enjoy your time here. I can't wait for next year.

We were so lucky to stay at this condo in Maui. We are a family of 11 with kids and grandkids. In the past, we have traveled to many places together including cruises and other house and condo rentals and we definitely will place this condo at the top of the list. The size of the condo and the location were outstanding. The lay-out of the condo gave members of our family privacy, as well as, places large enough for our grandchildren to play in. The view was great and eating outside provided us with a large enough space for our whole family. We enjoyed all the items we were able to use for the beach: the water shoes, paddle boards, flippers, towels, ice chest etc. The entry way into the condo was a big plus. Everyday we were able to store our items needed for the beach and at the end of the day, we organized things to begin our adventure for the next day. Everything in the kitchen was great and the condo was clean. It will be our dream to return to this condo in the future. Just walking into the condo for the first time will be an experience that we will remember for a lifetime---the view is spectacular and we enjoyed it every time we entered the condo. Yes, there were several rainbows during the week and great times were had by all.

Thank you for another wonderful stay at your condo. This was our 3rd visit, and we can't wait until we can go back again, because your condo is our favorite spot to vacation in Maui! We travel as a big family, with grandparents, parents and grandchildren. Your condo has enough space for everyone to relax and enjoy.
Our most favorite spot is your beautiful lanai with the large dining table. We eat breakfast, lunch and dinner out there every day, because the sunset views are out of this world, truly better than any restaurant in town. We've seen whales from your lanai, too! Also, eating in is easier for us with kids and food allergies. Your kitchen in nicely equipped, and the grills at the Sands of Kahana are thoroughly cleaned each morning.
The Sands of Kahana pool was a lovely temperature, with friendly guests to talk to, and the ocean has just enough waves to be fun, but safe, for kids. We saw a giant Sea Turtle when snorkeling right in front of your condo this trip.
All in all, we had a wonderful time. We have celebrated 2 retirements and 2 birthdays at your condo, and we can't wait for our next celebration in Maui! Thank you.
