My wife and I spent the last 3 days of our honeymoon in this wonderfully kept and thoughtfully stocked vacation home! The neighborhood is peaceful and properly managed with just a short ride to beautiful beaches, shops, and restaurants. Martin and Rachelle were exceptionally accommodating. Mahalo!

This was the most fully stocked B and B we've ever stayed in, you won't need for anything. In addition to the kitchen having everything we needed, there was also beach chairs, towels, umbrella, boogie boards and snorkel gear. You really will be very happy here. Wish we'd had a couple more days.

The condo is beautifully appointed. The king size bed is very comfortable. We needed an additional bed so the sofa bed had to do. I traveled with my two grown sons. The condo is most ideal for a couple maybe with small children. The kitchen had everything needed to cook the Mahi Mahi we caught! The beach gear is very welcome and even sunblock is available if forgotten. Martin responded quickly to all my questions and the accommodations were beautiful.

This condo lives up to what is shown and more. Great access to a close beach too, walk or drive and no fee to park at beach. Unit comes with everything you need for beach fun—chairs, towels, snorkel gear, boogie boards, noodles, etc. Unit is well equipped kitchen and bath and Island Gourmet Grocery is close as well as several restaurants. We also enjoyed golf at Mauni Lani only 10 min away. Owner is very responsive to any questions.

Large property, fully furnished. Huge, comfy bed, big shower with great water pressure, comfy couch, very large lanai. We didn't spend a ton of time in the unit as we were there for wedding activities, but it was more than suitable for us. The place was really clean except that the rugs had a lot of free fuzz on them. That may just be the rugs themselves though. They were super plush and soft to stand on.
We got good coffee and some snacks at check in. I wish we'd had a chance to cook, the kitchen was fully stocked for it.
Overall we had a great stay, and Martin was a wonderful host.

The condo is as wonderful as the photos depict! Wonderfully decorated, organized with everything that you may need while on vacation, and close to the swimming pool/hot tub, ocean, and shopping. We took several trips to the beach and enjoyed the beach chairs, boogie boards, and snorkeling gear that was in the outdoor closet. I would definitely recommend to others. Mahalo!

We had a fantastic time at Martin‘s condo and will definitely miss it. It is very spacious, super clean, has a comfortable king bed, everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The area of The Shores is beautiful, very well maintained and has a relaxing vibe. The shops are close by, also some beautiful beaches and good restaurants. We were amazed at the provided detailed information on places to eat and possible activities. A thoughtful gift basket was waiting for us upon arrival. The communication with Martin was very easygoing and accommodating even before booking the condo. Very grateful for this beautiful place and the hospitality we received.

My husband and I really enjoyed staying in this condo. It was really close to a lot of great beaches. The kitchen was one of the best I've seen in a rental unit. Owner is amazing! Excellent communication prior and called us after arrival to be sure everything was OK and answer any questions. Provided suggestions for all kinds of activity and meal options. A thoughtful gift basket was a nice surprise! Ground floor condo is immaculate and well stocked with everything you need (kitchen, bath, laundry, entertainment) including all manner of beach stuff. We especially enjoyed the shaded private patio for breakfast and afternoon wine/dinner and just sitting there to read a book. A large community pool was great for a daily swim (also gym and tennis) and the complex is very clean, well landscaped, the HOA is on top of things. We will definitely rent this unit again---no need to look anywhere else!!

I read many reviews and had a tough time picking a favourite spot, but after reading the reviews for Martin’s condo I was sold. Our host Marty has been phenomenal. He gave so much information about the resort. Resturants and things to do. He thought of anything you might need while staying in his home. One little touch that hardly anyone thinks about are night lights. Lovely home and beautiful resort.

We stayed at the condo over the Xmas break. Great location, condo is very well equipped with all the necesities. Wish we had more time to explore the property grounds but we were too busy sighseeing and exploring beaches. Nearby A-beach was awesome, allbof us enjoyed swimming in its calm water, and seeing turtles was a huge bonus and unforgettible experience. The condo has beach towels, chars, boogie boards, tent, snorklening stuff - all was very helpful for all our beach and water activities.

We stayed here last year and just loved it. The unit is perfect for a couple that likes to cook; everything needed is there including lots of spices and olive oil and extra goodies left by previous guests (soy sauce, mayo, etc.). The unit we’re in now on Maui has a disposable salt shaker. That’s it. The Waikoloa unit is close to everything you’ll need and the nearby Island Gourmet has tons of freshly prepared stuff including sushi for heading to the beach. We were once again very content with this unit and it’s large lanai. We will be back!

My family arrived 4 days early for our annual timeshare stay, and we usually select a different vacation rental to get a feel for the different condos in the resort. We had the wonderful fortune of selecting this property this year, and I don't think we will continue to select different condos again. The unit was very clean, well-appointed, and little touches made us feel like we were well taken care of!
We've stayed in countless units over the years, and especially in Hawaii we often feel like owners "hodge-podge" things together, using left-over items to try to meet needs for guests. That is NOT the case here. Everything feels intentionally selected to create a feel of welcome and comfort. From the linens to the dishes and cooking pans, everything was comfortable.
I cannot thank the hosts enough for this little gem - we will definitely be back!

Excellent time on the Big Island in this wonderful condo! Thank you to the owners! Close to amenities, but the condo has everything you need as outlined in their description. Our favourite activity was snorkelling with the Manta Rays down in Kona with Hang Loose. Nearby "A" beach was good as well. Would definitely stay here again!

Look no further - if you want a beautiful larger one bedroom condo to stay in this is it. Located in the Waikoloa area - it has everything you need and it is impeccable! We were a short drive from some of the best snorkeling we’ve ever seen and most beautiful beaches. You can tell they take wonderful care of their place and every detail is laid out for you in order to enjoy their home and the area. The kitchen is one of the most well stocked we’ve ever seen and we’ve stayed at a lot of rentals. Not only that but everything was CLEAN and newer/matching which we loved - some places you rent and it’s like haphazard stuff from a garage sale. We only cooked a couple days because they also suggested wonderful restaurants for us to try and we did. There are boogie boards, chairs, noodles and beach umbrella which was so handy. The bed was very comfortable and some of the softest sheets ever. Tip- stop at local grocery, Coscto, Target or Walmart after you land for your food, reef safe sunscreen, etc. There is a nice island market in the mall nearby but they have limited items. The condo does has a lot of basics to use for cooking which was also awesome! We enjoyed our stay here immensely and plan to come back and stay longer.

We loved all the extra items here for our stay. We had 2 young kids so all the beach equipment, the cooler, the pool that was nearby were all things that made our stay wonderful. It was the little things we appreciated, like how the fridge had an ice maker! Lots of visitor parking stalls and it was easy to find. Would recommend this place to others!

This condo is in immaculate condition!! Everything was spotless, beautiful decor, and super organize. The living room has a very comfortable sleeper sofa and extra individual bed. There’s plenty of setting space, books, movies, big size TV, pamphlets with tourist information in living room . The kitchen has everything you will need to cook your own meals if desired. There were extras like condiments, coffee, sugar, tea, cooking oil, etc. Host left a nice gift baskets with treats, thank you ! The inside laundry room very convenient as well. You will also find a very comfortable queen size bed in the master room you won’t want to wake up from ! The view to the outside and freeze will keep you in bed :). The restroom is very spacious and like the kitchen, it’ll have little extras to truly make you feel like at home. Not to mention the beach gear, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, towels, and much more. The pool in the community completed our vacation and the nearby beach is stunning! Location wise, you can’t go wrong staying in Waikoloa Village. The host was super accessible prior and during our stay. We will definitely be back !

This property was everything it said it would be! And then some. The lanai was private and beautiful and very comfortable! We took advantage of the snorkel equipment, beach chairs and umbrella that was available. The unit was very clean and was very well stocked with basic necessities! This is the 2nd trip for my wife and I to Kona and as soon as we walked in, it became our favorite place to stay. Plenty of goodies and sweets welcoming us to snack on and tons of clean towels. The layout was very welcoming and had everything that we could ever need to enjoy our trip! When we come back, we will definitely be staying here again!

We stayed at this property for 9 days in March. The unit is comfortable and well equipped. The lanai is inviting and relaxing, great spot to enjoy morning coffee and late afternoon happy hour! All of the beach items were a real pleasure to use as we frequently went to Hapuna beach to enjoy the big surf! The location of this property is perfect and beautiful! Very convenient to shopping, restaurants and the beach walking path! Be sure to visit Target/Safeway/Costco before leaving the Kona area (close to airport) for groceries and essentials as the market at Queens is very pricey! Prepared foods there are nicely priced given the convenience. Loved our time on the Big Island and would highly recommend this property! Owner is very responsive and extremely helpful with general information on the area. Mahalo for the awesome gift basket! Very kind!!

My husband and I stayed in the Waikoloa resort area for the first time. We booked Marty's condo, which was very spacious and well-supplied with everything that you could think of. Lots of beach gear and an umbrella too. Spent a lot of time out on the lanai, which was well-shielded from any passersby. We have stayed in the Kona area 5 times, but I think we've found our new favorite area. Would definitely recommend Marty's condo and would come back anytime!

Beautiful and spacious property that was a pleasure to stay at. It was comfortable and clean and Excellent location to shopping and restaurants. Martin was extremely helpful he provided a flyer with beach locations , coffee, wine and other snacks. The kitchen and bath were fully stocked.- towels, toaster, coffee maker, utensils, laundry detergent etc. He provided a
list of places to visit and restaurant recommendations.The property is gorgeous. One evening we had a visit with a tom turkey and two females on the patio.
The price was very agreeable and it felt homey.

This is a lovely property, minutes from one of the best beaches in the world. Marty, our host, manages it extremely well ... everything is easy, clear and done. The living room is beautiful and very comfortable. The ocean breezes that reach the condo were so lovely for our first days, and we so enjoyed sitting on the patio, but then, since we came in August, the heat became sweltering for most of our stay. But luckily there was air conditioning.

A welcome basket with delightful Hawaiian goodies brought smiles to our travel weary faces! The directions to the condo and entry instructions were spot on…all relayed to us ahead of time by Marty along with his recommendations of restaurants, beaches and activities. The condo was immaculate and extremely well equipped, pleasantly decorated, comfy and spacious. So nice to have a covered patio to enjoy our morning coffee. The location is perfect, near shopping, restaurants and very easy access to the main highways. Really felt at home and well taken care of. Marty was very responsive to all of our needs. Marty's condo truly feels like a second home. We got in late on our first night and were quickly able to relax and settle in. The condo has all of the details that make it feel like you are staying in a home. We ate breakfast on the Lanai every day, cooked most of our meals at home, and looked forward to kicking out feet up each evening on the couch. The Shores as a complex is stunning, quiet, and relaxing. The pool area was clean, grounds were well cared for, and you are well located within Waikoloa, and anything you might need or want to do is a short drive away. In the binder inside the condo, the owners spent a lot of time preparing useful information for where to eat, shop, and visit. Definitely read it! While a 1 bedroom, this condo would definitely work for a family with 1 or 2 young children with how it is laid out. We recommend renting a car during your stay, and the grocery store in Waikoloa, while expensive, had a great selection; that being said, a quick and scenic 15 min drive up to the KTA in Waikoloa Village is the way to go. Best pricing on daily groceries available. Will stay here again!

We had an amazing stay at the condo. There is everything you could possibly ask for. I loved that they have beach chairs, snorkel equipment, an umbrella, etc available for you to use. The kitchen is well equipped, the bed is super comfortable. Every morning I enjoyed my coffee on the patio while my daughter slept in a bit. Everything was clean and ready for us to use. No complaints from our side at all. We would book this condo again!!!

We stayed at this property over the New Year's break 2018/2018- had a wonderful and relaxing time- proximity to the beach- restaurants- grocery shops allows this property for a good walk able score . Martin/owner was very responsive and helpful - plenty of towels/beach gear at the property made packing very easy for us :)
