We've stayed at the Mana Kai for over 10 years in different condo units and this was by far the most elegant of all.
Everything about it was top notch. The artwork is outstanding. The kitchen cabinetry made me want to go home and redo ours. The furniture and bedding were top notch. We were greeted on checking in with 2 gorgeous orchids. Even the balcony was decorated. AC worked great. Huge bathtub in the back unit. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our place. The updates that were done gave a very luxurious feeling that went with the view. The only thing that we didn’t like was that we had to wait until 4pm to check in. Everything else went smoothly. We had a great time and truly enjoyed the property.

Everything was amazing. We couldn’t have asked for a better more beautiful location. It was everything I imagined and more and Gary was very responsive and he made arrangements so that we could enjoy a later, check out time… Thank you so much for everything when I am fortunate enough to be able to take a trip back, I am hopeful that the timing works out so I can stay in this exact beautiful amazing condo❤️
Our hearts are broken for Maui at this time ..we were very fortunate to have been able to visit Lahaina and the amazing banyan tree… we are praying for these most beautiful people🙏

We were fortunate to enjoy a few days in this beautiful property. The views are unmatched as you're literally on the beach. Even with windows closed, you can hear the magnificent surf. Property was immaculate, check-in, electronic (a breeze). Mana Kai staff and property were great. Beach and grounds in front of property were perfection. Sadly, our trip was cut a bit short by the Maui fires and we left in the middle of the night to we could make sure we made our flight the next day (so many unknowns while those fires raged in the night). My heart still can't get over the fires and devastation on beautiful Maui. All in all this stay was a perfect 10. We hope to return in 2024 and help support community rebuilding. Thank you!

This was our first Vrbo. We typically stay at resorts/hotels; so, we were anxious about if we'd get what we paid for. I'm thrilled to say this rental experience met our expectations.
The condo unit looks as advertised - well appointed, clean, and spacious. We really appreciated the convenience - quick access to the beach, laundry, markets, and restaurants. There are retailers within walking distance but with the heat and limited visibility on the streets in the evening, I'd suggest renting a vehicle.
Depending on the number of people in your party, you might want to bring extra beach towels if you wish to use the four complimentary beach towels to cover the beach chairs and your own to dry off.
The lanai offers a breathtaking view of the beach and the mountain. Take the time to enjoy it.
What really made our stay memorable was the unit manager, Carl. He was so patient, endearing, and hospitable. He made sure all of our needs were met and made dining and shopping recommendations according to our interests. He even surprised our two college graduates with a custom made cheesecake at Duo's.

This was our first time in Maui and at this condo and both were amazing. We loved the condo’s location and proximity to the beach. The building itself was great and the condo was phenomenal. Everything was upgraded with everything we needed for our 7 night stay. I would recommend this condo to all of our friends and family. We will be back!

We've stayed at numerous condos' at the Mana Kai and this is now our favorite. There are too many wonderful touches to mention here. The electric blinds, the awesome quality beds, the hidden TV that rises out of the base of the bed and swivels for viewing from bed or living room, the walk-in shower with 2 shower heads, quality frig, built in micowave, 2nd bedroom is wonderful. Best I've seen. I've seen some that are basically storage areas. Bottom line...you'll love the quality of this unit.

Amazing stay once again at our favorite phenomenal Maui condo. Incredible location with spectacular 5th floor direct ocean views. Run on the beach, swim in the ocean, see the turtles, watch for Humpback Whales, eat at amazing Wailea restaurants. We even had the opportunity to meet Iron Chef Morimoto as he was signing his new book at his restaurant about 7 minutes away. This was our 4th stay here which tells you how much we love this condo. Lovely condo that was very clean and organized - everything we needed for our stay was provided at the condo - including towels for the beach. We just had to bring food and drinks. The Condo complex is STEPS from the beach with a relaxing salt water pool near by to cool off in. Love, love, love this location. Everything was exactly as promised including a workout facility with a take/leave library right next to it. Within walking distance were many shops including the famous cinnamon roll breakfast shop. We will be back!

Amazing vacation in a beautiful setting. The condo is in a perfect location with an amazing view and is conveniently located next to a great beach. We ran every morning along the beach to the paved path and snorkeled with sea turtles in the ocean right next to the condo. Couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing vacation. We would love to return.

When we arrived the code didn’t work to get in the property. Called the property manager and he said there was no record of us having the place. He arrived soon thereafter and had to clean to get it ready. After that, the stay was good. Not sure how our stay was not known about.

The suite was impeccably clean and the very comfortable. You can tell that a lot of thought and love went into setup. Great beach right outside your door. Food store on site in building 5 min drive to posh shopping and high end restaurants.

Property was clean. The view from the balcony was amazing. The property is beachfront so you can go right out to the beach without driving anywhere. We did, however, have some maintenance issues that the property manager should have informed us about prior to our stay (or made up for if he was not previously aware). There was construction on the floor below in one of the rooms and the water was turned off in the entire unit at night when we arrived. There were signs posted about this when you entered and the front desk said they had informed people, and we did reach out to the property manager though his response came the whole next day and was simply that he was unaware. Other than that the property was as advertised.

We arrived at the condo following a week's stay at a nearby 5-star resort. We were shocked at the location, beauty, and level of cleanliness! It was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it. I was in contact with the property manager, and he was also incredibly helpful!

This condo is very well appointed with beach towels and kitchen equipment. The building has pool chairs and chairs you can use on the grass but you would need your own chair for the beach. Beautiful view, central location and clean condo. Thank you for a lovely visit.

The beach was just outside and was great for snorkeling and body surfing. We rented paddle boards and snorkel equipment and saw turtles near the rocks in front of the property. Sunsets were amazing and we could see sunrise from the front bedroom. The condo was well appointed with all of our kitchen needs and very comfortable beds. This is an excellent location with surfing lessons and the town of Kihei nearby. We tried Pint and Cork (Bib Burger!) and Threes bar and grill(Pork quesadilla!) and were never disappointed. What a great family trip! 5 stars all around*****

This condo has a great spot on the beach with easy access. The views are wonderful from the balcony, and perfect for sunset. The restaurant and the store in the first floor of the building were both closed and under renovations, so we had a lot more car trips than I anticipated. Parking is very easy at condo.

Condo was as advertised! Mahalo to Mr Young!! Been staying at the Mana Kai since 1988 and his condo was the best yet. Beautifully renovated and the entire property is amazing. General store was closed but reopens in June 2022. Restaurant also closed, due to reopen in Dec of 2023. Beach and snorkeling were amazing. Absolutely will return!

Just the right amount of space for my husband and I and our 2 teenagers. Amazing snorkeling just steps away, turtles everyday and a wonderful reef. Love all of the outdoor space. Wish the restaurant wasn't dead and out of business. Also wished, the deli and General store were open too. The unit was clean, comfy, and had great views. We would definitely stay here again.

This is the most amazing freshly renovated condo with full on spectacular direct ocean views. Sit on the lanai, sip a refreshing drink and watch the whales and the magical sunsets. The address is Kihei but it is just 5 minutes from Wailea. We love this condo so much that we have already booked our 4th return visit. The owners are fantastic. They have beautifully refreshed the entire condo with new furniture, art, bedding and bathroom upgrades with the ultimate interior design class and style. The condo is absolutely clean every time we visit. The greatest news is that with all the health safety measures in place for Hawaii, we stayed healthy enjoying our vacation to the fullest. To Gary and his wife, thank you. We can’t wait to return!!!

We had a great stay at Mana Kai.! The property was well kept and the view we had from our suite was amazing. The beach is steps from the elevator along with a very nice grass lounge area, an absolute perfect location. Don’t bother with the attached restaurant, food and service was poor and lots of other options around the area. Other than that, highly recommended.!

My two friends and I were extremely pleased with our stay at this condo two weeks ago. The condo was recently renovated and is gorgeous inside and out. The location is top notch, with the beach literally just outside the lanai. Next time I visit Maui I absolutely will stay here is Gary has it available!

We enjoyed our stay here tremendously. The unit is lovely, well appointed and very comfortable. We love staying at this resort generally, and this particular unit was the proverbial icing on the cake: Recently and beautifully updated, a well stocked kitchen and very comfortable furniture (including the bed), amazing views (we saw turtles swimming in the ocean from our lanai), and extremely well located on the Kihei-Wailea border. Also, we had friendly and timely interactions with the owners, which we greatly appreciated (they are good people!). We hope to stay at this gem again in the future, and we highly recommend it.

This was our first time to Maui and our first VRBO rental. We loved the location…direct beach access, walkable to restaurants and shave ice and accessible to drive anywhere. We visited other beaches but this one was still our favorite.
The condo was clean and was just as great as the pictures show it to be. Check in was easy and getting in and out was easy. We loved the view and hearing the waves crash right there. Condo was well equipped for anything we needed.
We would highly recommend to anyone and would definitely stay there again.

What can I say the pictures are on point, the location is great, everything was stunning, easy checking in and out, don't hesitate to book here. You get to wake up to the most stunning views and we preferred getting take out or cooking so we could have ocean-front dining from the property. You will be so happy booking this spot.

We loved our time here so much! The condo was great, had absolutely everything we needed. The view was outstanding and my husband and I spent nearly every night on the lanai. My husband, my adult daughter, and I loved our stay in this unit. We had planned on staying in the same unit as our previous stay, but that one was not available. Unit 503 was very well appointed and comfortable! The decor was fabulous and the unit had many extra amenities! The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed breakfast and lunch at the unit each day. We hope to return again!
