Welcome to our home away from home at the Maui Vista Resort. Come and enjoy the warm sun, relax and have some fun in an incredible nice condo!
Ours is building #1 (closest to the beach) and being on the top floor we have a nice view of the ocean too. The famous Charley Young/Kamaole beach is just steps away.
Inside you'll find a remodeled kitchen with custom cabinets, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. Flooring consists of tiles and luxury vinyl plank (LVP) to keep it tidy and cool. Our condo also has a high vaulted ceiling for an open feel.
Resort amenities: elevators, easy beach access, 6 tennis court, 3 swimming pools, 3 BBQ areas, and 10 acres of tropical gardens.
Maui Vista is centrally located in Kihei. We're walking distance of many shops/restaurants while an on-site activities desk helps booking your Maui excursions. We have never been approached by timeshare salespeople during our stay.

It was a wonderful time. It was my spouse and 2 18 year old daughters.
We had plenty of space for all of us.
Condo had everything we needed. The grounds were kept up beautifully.
If looking for a large pool, the pool was on the smaller side.
We would stay again.

Overall it was lovely, beds were comfy. Main bedroom was stuffy, the fan didn’t work but there was a portable air conditioner, too loud and waste of electricity to run all night though. Tv had issues I found a broken hdmi cable. It was well equipped with beach chairs etc which was great.

Lily is amazing to deal with, I highly recommend booking with her unit! The unit is clean and somewhat updated, top bathroom is quite tight and not updated but lower one is great! The kitchen is FULLY stocked with lots of cooking utensils and the beach equipment is in abundance. Again, I can’t say enough about this owner. After cancelling because of Covid twice, she was a dream to deal with. Highly recommend!!

Perfect Kihei location for walking to shops and restaurants. To top it off, the beach is just across the street! Upon arrival, the vacation home was clean with everything we needed, including plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler, and beach towels. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai in the evening to take in the gorgeous sunsets. Plus every Sunday and Wednesday evening the electric bike parade would go by! Thanks Lily and Than for being wonderful hosts!

We loved where this was at. The cleanliness of the apartment as we checked and left a little to be desired. It is in a great neighborhood, and is across the street from a fantastic beach.

The location is excellent, with easy access to the beach, walking distance to many restaurants, and souvenir shopping.
With the second bedroom being in a loft, there is a lack of privacy that should be considered in renting the unit.

It was good to be back in Maui again after living and working here during the 90’s. Sunset views and beach access was great, so the proximity to Kam II & III was just right. Love that the aloha spirit is still alive and well.

The location is great - Kihei was central for everything we wanted to do. Amazing beaches just minutes away, by foot or car. We ended up driving to a beach we loved several times, also to have more space. Lots of food options close by as well as grocery stores.
The unit is a good size. Not a lot of common space and not enough seating for a family of 4 to sit around together. The kitchen is quite compact and minimally equipped. No baking sheet, for example. The layout works, though, with two twins upstairs. The kids found the shower upstairs to be awkward, so they showered downstairs.
The reasons this unit gets four stars are two fold. 1. it just wasn't clean. I was willing to wipe down countertops and surfaces, but the floor was seriously gross. We are a shoes off family and couldn't do it - we wore slippers/flip flops or socks inside. The socks were black on the bottom after minimal time inside. This is not the first review to say it isn't clean. Whoever is cleaning needs to actually clean the floor. Get a steam mop or something! Second, the air flow isn't great, which makes any benefit from trade winds pretty minimal. We ended up running air more than we wanted, and frankly the unit in the bedroom was not very effective, even with the door closed, for the amount of noise it generated. We would have happily kept windows and doors open with fans on had there been a hint of a breeze. As there wasn't, there wasn't much of a choice.

The property was a nice condo in a good location for Kihei. The grounds were well kept.
The condo is in need of some updating and the master bed is falling apart. The AC units are dated and the expectation to keep them off is unrealistic. The other units booked for our event had newer AC units and no signage about keeping them off.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and would still recommend the unit and Maui Vista location.
