View was beautiful, but with the daily sun on the sliding glass doors all day, the air conditioner couldn’t keep up. We used the floor fan, sitting on a chair, to keep the air circulating.

Fast internet and good TV. No real noise from the reno downstairs. Clean, tidy, and everything worked as expected.Property well maintained. Just wish there was consumables available for the appliances. Aircon didn't seem adjustable.

Overall it was a great stay! As expected for 700 sq ft, our family of 4 (youngest 17) was a little cramped even with a inflatable bed we brought with us. It would be nice if the four chairs for the one table were a little more comfortable. Everthing else was as described. Spectacular mornings on the balcony overlooking the park and beach.

There are broken floor tiles, lots of marks on walls, baseboards, etc., no place to put your soap, shampoo, etc. in the shower, washer/dryer are very old, and not much in decor like pictures on the walls, etc.The air conditioner did not cool off the area where the bed is located but, if you were sitting on the couch, you would get cold from the AC.We informed the person that checked us in that there were bugs, we thought were sand mites, all over the kitchen and that the iron was broken. He said that he would take care of everything. Days later I found another iron in a box. Not sure if someone came in while we were gone but, I was never notified. Nothing was done about the bug situation. We had to put everything in the refrigerator and not keep anything on the counters.We were unaware that the lobby would be under construction. We didn't have any access to what would have been available so, we had to figure things out on our own. One of the elevators was unavailable and the one that was available, took a long time.If updates were done, we would consider coming back again.

Check-in was super easy, we were met as we drove up to checkin through the gate and access the condo. Waikiki Shores location is perfect - right in the middle of everything. It’s about 1.5 miles up towards the Ala Moana Park area, and 1.5 miles towards the end of the beach area before Diamond Head.

Loved the view from the lanai. Close to shops and restaurants in Waikiki and right on the beach. Enjoyed dinners at Roy’s, the grill at the Outrigger, Tommy Bahama’s and some good pupus and great jazz at Lewers Lounge next door. The only slight complaint was the couch, which was a little uncomfortable. We would definitely return.

Just as described (yes a few things were older but nothing that effected our stay). Kitchen had everything we needed, bathroom had a few starter things, even beach chairs were provided. It was just 2 of us, so the size was perfect (even large for 2 people) and the bed was very comfortable. The lanai was great. We shut the air conditioner off and left the doors to the lanai open the entire time.....loved it!Rental company was easy to connect with and even greeted us on arrival. A hidden gem. We would stay here again.(only suggestion.....put something in the shower to put the soap and shampoo on)

Reviewer Comments: The staff at Ali Beach Rentals are very efficient and attentive to our needs.The location and view this condo has was perfect.To say it sleeps 4 is a bit of a stretch, there is a king bed but the couch that opens up for a 2nd bed is too small for 2 adults - luckily there was just 3 of us.The condo provided 2 beach chairs which we really appreciated!!The condo was very nice inside, with the exception of the bathroom could use some painting and updating - although it’s not a dealbreaker for the 3 of us to stay in this condo again next year !!

View of the beach park, mountain and city. Even tho the Bedroom is separated by a sliding door it was very spacious, bathroom was big and nice, counter and sink updated with washer/dryer. Kitchen had been updated , had big sink. The only thing for us was that the sofa was more of a futon not really a pull out bed. Building was very secure, could not enter any door/gate without a sensor tag also nobody could go up on the elevator Whithout scanning the scan code. We stayed in #1012. Downstairs there’s a couple of quick eateries and a shave ice place , there’s also a man selling tours and a souvenirs store. Great location , walking distance to the Hilton Hawaiian lagoon and shops galore and restaurants, you can watch the Friday night fireworks from the balcony. Highly recommend

We had stayed at this complex before, in different unit and it was a good experience. This unit was not. The carpet needs to be replaced. After walking on it for just an evening, my feet were black. The tile on the lanai was cracked and buckled (a safety hazard). Our son used the sofa sleeper and it was horribly uncomfortable (he said it felt like it was filled with baseballs). The view is great and the Wi-Fi was fast but the disrepair of the unit ruined our stay so much that we moved to the Outrigger next door and just ate the cost of this dump.

The unit was very clean and had all promised supplies. The view is spectacular, able to see sunset from lanai. Unit overlooks the Army museum, unabstructed view of the ocean and sunset. Would love if unit came with beach chairs and beach umbrella, but we purchased these at Walmart to save on chair and umbrella rental cost. While the unit does not have parking, beware of high cost of public parking upto $80.00 per night. Excellent location, easy walking to restaurants and shopping 5 to 10 minutes away. We would stay here again.

Reviewer Comments: This unit has a spectacular view and the building is in a great location. This is the only reason why I stay there. The unit itself needs a lot of work. The furniture is outdated, the carpet is worn out, there are marks on the walls, the tile is badly cracked on the lani, the toilet seat is a mess, the shower head leaks and has poor water pressure and there is a window pane missing allowing noise and warm air to enter the unit. There is also rats nest of wires around the TV/WiFi that looks awful. I have stayed in this unit at least 10 times and may not return due to these issues. It's a shame that it is not kept in better condition given what they charge for it.

Property showed its near 40 year old construction - cracked grout lines, broken and missing window louvre handles, and, in one location a missing louvre completely. Very noisy traffic and next door construction location. Would not return.

The view from the 10th floor was amazing. Just a few things that would make the stay better. A shelf in the shower to hold soap and shampoo. Having to leave it on the floor of dirty water is awkward. Also supply a Tide pod for the clothes washer. It’s impossible to buy just one at a store. TV should be upgraded, small screen and bad sound quality. Table on lani was too big for the space. The second day we made a special request for a fan. The management company left one at the door which was great However the base needed to be attached with a screwdriver which they did not provide. It would have been nice if they took that step and assembled it before delivery. Overall we enjoyed the unit. The convenience of walking right out to the beach was fantastic.

The property was just as described. I was slightly concerned the sofa bed mattress would be uncomfortable as another reviewer previously stated, but that was not the case. Both the kitchen as well as the washer and dryer were an added bonus. However, I hope people do read the description for this complex carefully because I overlooked the fact that there is NO parking available. Sure there are four spaces available to guests for a 3 hour limit (guests are not allowed to park there between 3-6 am), but clearly if people rent out a car, that’s not going to work out. Other adjacent hotels do have parking spaces, but they are quite pricey. Here’s my tip, if you rent a car for more than a few days, just go across the street and purchase the monthly parking at Fort De Rousey for $185. It’s expensive, but believe me it’s not as expensive as paying for daily parking. We had a rechargeable car and twice my husband went next door to the Outrigger and they were very friendly about letting us park in their guest only lot to charge our vehicle. You can make a purchase at the bar and then have your ticket validated. Same with the pool. Waikiki Shore does not have its own pool, but if you go next door to the Outrigger and consume some of their drinks/meals, staff is ok with letting you in. Other than that, we truly enjoyed our stay. Again, the views from our room were beyond perfection, there are plenty of restaurants and designer as well as wallet friendly shops not too far from Waikiki, and plenty of fun at the beach. Mahalo! We truly enjoyed our stay.

Maintenance rating would have to be a 3-, due to broken balcony chair, missing tiles in the balcony making it a trip hazard and a loose and wobbly toilet. Missing key fab upon arrival, and television not working we’re an inconvenience - management company took care of it next day. So, I would say a 3 rating for those items. I would rate the furniture a low 3 as well due to squeaky dining room chairs and broken chair in balcony. The safe was not useable as it needed a key, would recommend they get a code safe . It wAs clean for the most part. Overall, I would stay again for the location.
