This is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 1188 sq. ft. condo with 30 foot high ceilings. Our condo is spacious, well maintained, fabulously appointed, very clean and recently upgraded. Linens are high thread count, towels are super thick, beach towels are provided and the unit is well stocked. We also own Scuba Shack on Maui and would love to have you dive with us. Kamaole Sands is a first rate property, located directly across from Kamaole Beach Park 3 and offers a beautiful garden area with pool, jacuzzis, children's wading pool, tennis courts, and extensive garden areas with BBQ sites. It truly is a perfect place to vacation.

Host Michelle was very responsive and pleasant. Condo could use an update. I was under the impression it had air conditioning but only had fans and portable air conditioner in 1 bedroom. Was quite warm most of the time. Good location and nice ocean view from Lanai.

We found out upon arrival that they do not have professional cleaners and expect that the only cleaning done will be by the guests themselves. It took us one full day of extreme cleaning at the beginning of our stay. We did expect things to be a bit run down and used based on the photos and previous reviews, but nothing like this. The mattress was so filthy and pad so gross, that we were scared to even use it. The owner eventually got us a new mattress after we complained. Everywhere we wiped when cleaning came up black. It was that bad and grimy (we have lots of pictures). They shouldn't be charging a cleaning fee if that is the plan. She was semi-responsive, but he was not nice (no typical Aloha spirit). Really disappointing!

This was a great place to stay! Close to the beach and food but far enough from the busy road. I see the ocean from my deck and wake up the the waves crashing on the beach. Inside the condo was very nice! With the vulted ceiling it was very opened and seamed alot bigger. The owners were very nice and answered any questions I had! I would recommend this condo!

We stayed in this condo for 35 days. It’s comfortable and well stocked. There is a nice ocean view from the lanai but a bit of road traffic early morning. Building 4 is quiet and has a great barbecue that is not very busy. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. This condo is not renovated (except for beautiful wood floors) but it is comfortable, everything is in working order and is in a great location across the street from a fabulous beach. I would recommend it to anybody looking for a decently priced rental at the Kamaole Sands.

The condo is located in a Great location just across the street to Kihei's Kamaole Beach Park III. The unit is well appointed with four beach/backpack chairs, six beach towels, cooler, tennis racquets, plenty of bath and kitchen towels, etc.
The only complaints I have is that although the kitchen and the two bathrooms are completely functional, they appear rather dated, and the floors could have more detailed mopped (especially behind the toilet).
I truly appreciated Michelle's hand-written note welcoming us to their condo.

We just returned from Kihei and we enjoyed staying at this condo. We've stayed in many VRBO's and we appreciated the little details the owners have done such as shampoo, conditioner and fresh bars of soap in the bathrooms, full spice rack, oil, coffee, salt and pepper. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals as well as Tupperware for packing lunches to the beach. We had some problems with the plumbing in the kitchen but Charley was there right away to fix it which was great!
The are 4 beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella, tennis rackets and balls, pool noodles and a cooler for packing around food for the day. We used all those items, they came in handy.
The beds were comfortable, the location is perfect, right across from Kam III, Kamaoele Sands has beautiful grounds and we love staying there.
The kitchen could use some updating but overall we enjoyed our stay and would book again! Thanks Charley and Michelle!
