The Maui Eldorado is a perfect location! And this unit was perfect for me, my husband and 5 y/o who visited this condo in August 2023. The A/C worked well and I liked how it was ground floor near the bbqs and dolphin pool. I had concern that being on the ground floor, we'd hear the people above us walking around, but that turned out to not be a problem. The units are very well insulated. The garden view from the lanai was so beautiful. Another concern we had was about the location not being ocean front, but the 10-min walk down to the beach is such a beautiful stroll. And once there, the shared cabana had everything we needed so we didn't need to carry anything. The cabana provided beach chairs, towels and boogie boards. On the days we didn't want to walk, we'd just call the front desk and they'd send a golf cart to shuttle us down to the beach -- we never had to wait. It was always pretty quick. We just didn't use it very often because the walk was short and pretty so we didn't mind strolling. The unit was extremely well stocked with comfortable beds and linens, beach and bath towels, kitchen appliances -- really anything we needed. Even had beach items (chairs, toys, umbrellas) for when we went to other beaches. The Times Grocery Store was a less than 10-min drive and directly across from it was an amazing Food Truck court. The Sheraton Luau at Black Rock (DO IT!) and The Snorkel Store (go here your 1ST DAY) were all within walking distance. Highly recommend this place!

Condo was as advertised. Clean and updated, kitchen well stocked with the things you need. Dolphin pool and barbecues just down from the lanai. Closet had all kinds of snorkel and beach toys. Worked well for our family of 5, kids aged 11, 9 and 3. This is our third time staying at the Eldorado, first at this condo, and this property works for us. Location is great, parking easy, walk to beach or Whalers Village takes 5-10 minutes. Beach cabana a huge plus. Shopping center behind property has a great collection of shops. Being off the main strip means it’s away from the hustle and bustle, more mellow. Love the lush tropical landscaping and lower profile buildings, preferable to the high rises in my opinion.

We loved this condo! The location is perfect. It was great to have a pool so close. Anything we may have needed was provided in the condo. The owners were very responsive, which we appreciated. We will definitely stay here again.

Our 9 day stay at Sandra and Martin’s unit was fantastic.
- The location was perfect for our family with 2 kids. Right in front of the dolphin pool and in front of the BBQ’s. the view from the lanai was also beautiful.
- the unit itself was very clean and well stocked. Probably the most stocked unit I’ve stayed in in Maui!
- communication with Sandy and Marty was also great. We had an issue with the washer/dryer which they rectified quickly and we really appreciated their attentiveness to our questions.
- lanai also had a locked closet that was filled with beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, beach toys and snorkel gear, amazing for families who don’t want to bring these things or purchase on their trip.
It was the best Maui trip we’ve had to date and we’ve stayed at several different units at Maui Eldorado and other properties in Kaanapali. Thanks to Sandy and Marty! We will be back!

This property was perfect for our family! The location was great and felt very clean! The check in process was very well explained and made it very comforting arriving on island. Having the boogie boards, snorkel gear, etc. was so amazing and came in very handy for my kids! The property was well maintained also. We only used the big pool during our stay but it was really nice. Having the golf carts and the cabana was really awesome too. The cabana was very busy every time we went but we just checked out towels and went down to the beach. Only used the cabana for the shower and towels really.
The only downside to the place was the lack of cleaning spray to wipe down the counters in the kitchen. We did have a bunch of little bugs on the counter and they were surrounding the blender on the counter. We did what we could to get rid of them but they kept coming back. The coffee pot was not in very great shape due to rust on the base of the coffee maker itself. It worked fine though!
All in all this was a great trip and I would highly recommend this property!

My husband and I decided to bring our kids to Maui this time. We had our 7 year old and 18 month old.
This condo was perfect for us and the kids! Plenty of toys for the pool and beach and the location was so perfect!
Already talking about trying to book the same condo in a year or two!

The only thing that upset me was there was no dresser to use in one of the rooms. It did have a small dresser but was falling apart so I had to live out of my suit case which I did not like.

I spent a lot of time researching condos for our first trip to Maui and this beautiful condo did not disappoint. I wanted a place that was walking distance to shopping and restaurants but also felt quiet and secluded. Those were the reasons I picked this condo but there are so many reasons why I would return. The condo was beautiful and well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen and supplies (snorkel gear, beach chairs, beach toys) for the beach. I loved laying on the lanai and reading a book and my son loved the pool. We went to both the pool in front of the condo and the bigger one with a beach view. Highly recommend the big pool at sunset. It’s a great view and wonderful way to end the day. We also loved the cabana and the friendly staff who picked us up every morning to take us to the beach. We never had to wait long for a ride. Snorkeling off the beach by the Cabana was great. There is a snorkel store in walking distance where you can rent everything you need but the condo had stuff as well. My husband and I both agreed that we would recommend this condo to anyone visiting Maui. It was one of our best rental experiences.

Sandra was so accommodating and helpful in making our week at Maui Eldorado a wonderful, memorable event.
The condo was neat, updated, and full of all the things you need for a day at the beach or pool. All the resorts are in walking distance with a short walk (8 mins) to either Black Rock or Whalers Village.

We loved our stay at your condo! The view from the lanai was spectacular! We could see the pool, golf course and the partial Oceanview made it just right. Communication with Martin was fast and easy. We appreciate his attention to any needs we may have had. The cabana on the beach was easy to access with a short golf cart ride. That condo is close to whalers village which offers so many dining and shopping options. A lovely family vacation and we hope to visit again. Thank you!

Everything was easy and wonderful! The condo was spacious and beautiful with everything we needed for the beach-bogey boards, chairs, a cooler! The staff was so helpful golf caring us around. The diner was delicious and run by a very hard working chef. The property managers went above and beyond to take care of our family and even mailed back a jacket I left to san diego! We had the best family trip with everything we needed and with a company that truly shared the Aloha spirit. We can’t wait to come back!

Booking was an ease to do with VRBO. The pictures shown do not do this place any justice for how beautiful of a Vacation spot it is. Walking distance to shops, trolly to nearby outdoor mall and dining and the beach and pools wow. We are already looking at renting this unit again next year. Owners emailed communication was in a timely manner. By far a top notch destination and Owners Mahalo for sharing your place with my family

Pool and BBQ right off the lanai, nicely updated, easy walk to a beautiful beach and clubhouse with chairs and towels provided. On the golf course, close to whalers village shopping and Lahaina. Doesn't get much better!

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. Everything you need for your stay including extras such as body boards, pool noodles, fins, snorkel, cooler bag and beach towels/chairs were available. I greatly appreciate the laundry soap and shampoo, conditioner and other items made available as well. Very nice bedrooms, living area and large kitchen. The living area leads out to a small patio area with a large dinner table/chairs and 2 loungers. You can see the bbq and pool from just down the grass and across from this unit which was very convenient as we are pool users and utilized the pool several times (which was always very quiet/private). You can have the golf cart pick you up from just outside the unit to take you straight to the outdoor cabana. Good snorkeling is a bit of a walk down the beach but very nice. There is a general store just across from the complex for necessities and a Safeway only a short drive down the street. Great location in terms of closeness to beaches and restaurants. The only issue we had with this unit was the air conditioning not always working. The air conditioning utilizes solar charged sensors. Essentially if certain doors are open , the air conditioning stops (which is explained in several places in the unit and seems reasonable) but because we we’re away from the unit and did not have lights on during the day, the sensors didn’t charge and the air-conditioning stopped working late at night. It took us quite a bit of googling but we figured out the problem and were able to hold lights up to the sensors to get them charged again and the air conditioning turned back on. It wasn’t a super big deal since we were able to figure it out but it’s just something people should probably be aware of because it’s an easy fix. The owner of this unit was very nice and easy to work with. We were moving from one unit in the same condo to this one because the other unit was not available during our entire stay. We asked if we could check in a bit earlier so we could move from one unit to the next and because this unit had been available the day before the owner did accommodate this request which was greatly appreciated. Also, being on the ground floor and not dealing with the stairs is a definite plus if stairs are hard for you. Our first condo was on the second floor and it was a bit of a challenge caring all of our luggage and things since there are no elevators. All in all, very nice condo. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay in Sandra’s condo was perfect! The communication was wonderful and the whole process was convenient and pleasant. Maui was busy this summer but we never had a problem getting a pool chair, grill or spot at the cabana during our time at the El Dorado. The condo was perfect! The two bedrooms were comfortable and the bathroom and kitchen were spacious and well appointed. We will most surely be back to enjoy this slice of heaven!
