This is our 3rd time staying here and we love it. The ocean view is awesome and we saw whales every day. Great location (walking distance to a grocery store and restaurants). The grounds at the Papakea Resort (where the condo is located) are very well kept.

Right on the waterfront. Could hear the waves from everyone in the condo. Spacious and clean. Plenty of beach activity equipment for use in the condo. Parking was easy. Overall great stay
Only disappointment was no real beach or snorkeling on the premises. Water was too rough for kids in this location.

Everything about the condo was perfect. It was clean, well stocked, even had a pack n play for the baby! The beds were comfy and the property was clean and well kept. We would love to come back to this unit!

We enjoyed the beautiful ocean views. However during our 10 day vacation, we kept finding a large pool of water under the master bedroom carpeting. We called the manager a couple of times and when the workers came the day before our checkout, they discovered that drainage water from the upstairs bathroom was the reason for the big puddle in our bedroom. We were literally stepping on another unit's bathroom water throughout our stay. No wonder I got sick half way through our vacation. I made my family leave Old Lahaina Luau early because I wasn't feeling well. The manager and the resort people did nothing for us. They just left our unit and had the plumbers get to work when we checked out the next morning. I can't imagine what that disgusting carpeting would look like if we haven't told them about the water. The 1st floor condo below us was probably affected too.

This condo has everything you could possibly need for a perfect stay in Maui. The Papakea Property is well maintained with lots of amenities. We enjoyed the pool, bbqs, shuffleboard, snorkeling, beach next door, evening sunsets on the lanai and the nearby walking path. A huge plus was the three AC units.

This condo had everything we needed for a great vacation. Its best feature, of course, is the unobstructed ocean view. It was also comfortable and extremely well stocked. The hosts made sure we had a pack and play for our toddler, which was so helpful. There was also tons of beach gear and binoculars for whale watching. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!

This was our second time staying at Papakea, we loved the condo so much! It was absolutely perfect for us, fully stocked with the best view ever! We use the pool almost every day. Also played pickle ball and shuffleboard, so much fun! Made friends with the nice neighbors as well. Great location and close to beaches and shopping. We hope to return again soon.

Condo had almost everything one would need. Lanai provided excellent views of whales. No problem with parking. Suggest providing information on how to work the TV. Would like to return in a couple of years if possible. All in all, it was great place to relax

The property was wonderful, right on the ocean. Very clean and in a good location. It was awesome watching the whales off our balcony and listening to the waves all day and all night. Would stay here again.!

We loved the location! Loved the easy access to pool! We used that more than the beach! We stayed plenty comfortable with the fans and windows open. I do wish there had been a beach to have easier access to without having to drive but overall it was a great experience! Thanks for sharing it with us.

Great condo with amazing ocean view. Location was close to everything -- grocery, shopping, beach, etc. The only downside for our stay was the guest bed A/C was not working. Otherwise, this was perfect. Everything you need is there! We would stay here again for sure!

We really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could ask for. The extras in the closet for the beach were awesome. The view from condo was absolutely breathtaking and the location of the property was convenient to everything which came in handy since we did a lot of exploring all over the island. We had a great vacation and would recommend this property.

Maui is the best and we had an awesome stay! Amazing ocean views from the main living room and the master bed room. So close you can hear the ocean. Ocean and Beach access was a few minute walk. Mahalo and we will be back!

Our family enjoyed a great ten days here, waking every morning to coffee on the lanai, snorkeling and body boarding during the day, and home grilled sunset dinners in the evening. The condo had everything we needed for a perfect vacation.
Shopping was super close by - quick trips to the ABC store and fun afternoons in Lahaina. During our stay, we snorkeled at Honolua Bay, enjoyed the Royal Lahaina Luau, took the Lana’i sailing tour, watched the sunrise at Haleakala, traveled the road to Hana, swam at Black Rock beach… and always enjoyed our return to the ocean view at the condo.
When we needed a repair, Christine responded right away. Our friends have already taken note of the spot so they can hopefully return here for their next vacation, as well.
The Papakea Resort is close to everything, but the beach is not crowded and the grounds are spread out and spacious. The kids spent their down time right there on the beach.
If we’re able to return to Maui, we would definitely love to stay here again!!

Condo was very well stocked with all the necessities as well as the items that make Maui fun, like boogie boards, snorkel gear, chairs, towels, toys, etc. condo is spacious,parking is good. Easy access to Kapalua, Lahaina, etc. condo L205. Second floor, has an elevator.

This condo provided a perfect home base for our vacation! The condo is as it appears with a front row view of many rainbows and amazing sunsets! We were a short drive from beautiful beaches (with plenty of body boarding and snorkeling), restaurants, and activities. The condo and grounds were neat, clean, and convenient--including the tennis/pickle ball courts which provided many hours of evening competition. We also took advantage of the fully-stocked kitchen for more than a few meals and never lacked for any utensil, pot, or pan. If we return to Maui we would definitely stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed sitting out on the balcony watching the whales and enjoying the sound of the waves. Stayed with my husband and 2 kids(ages 3 and 1). They had a pack n play and a high chair for us to use and tons of sand toys which were great at the beach every day. It's walking distance to a few restaurants and has beautiful grounds on the resort. We would definitely stay here again!

This property at Papakea is stunningly beautiful. Conveniently located to everything, including walking distances. The condo L205 (2nd floor) beachfront was the best I have ever had. Clean, super stocked, updated, comfortable, spacious, two tvs with tons of channels, kids floaties, beach chairs, toys, Beach towels, A/C in each room very quiet and instant cold that was nice with ceiling fans as the essentials for a home away from home stay. The master bedroom feet from the flowing waves of the ocean (was spectacular). A grassy area to soak the sun in and tranquil quiet moments right next to the ocean wall. Easy walking to the sandy beach, awesome pool, fantastic sunsets, great staff (Jett) was very very helpful. A very shady parking lot close enough but far enough with an elevator for those who want to stay forever with lots of luggage. tee hee. I would definitely stay here again as my top choice for Kaanapali. I do have another top choice in Santa Cruz CA so these two of the many I have had, cannot be beat. I appreciate Robin and Melenie for opening up this beautiful condo for us. Mahalo....We had a great time.

We spent a week with 1 and 3 year olds and had an amazing time!
Great location close to Lahaina, and the place had everything we needed even for little ones - sand toys, floaties, beach blankets and umbrella, you name it.
If you don't wanna eat out all the time or kids are picky - kitchen was clean and fully equipped with very good quality cookware, supermarket was also close by.
Even when kids are jet lagged and crash early the place was quiet enough for them to sleep to the sound of ocean waves. I actually think they slept better than at home.
One little thing was a noisy AC in the bedroom closest to the parking lot (which is a little noisier anyway with people coming and going) but even in August closing the window and turning on the ceiling fan instead was comfortable enough.
Couldn't have asked for more, if we ever travel to Maui again we'll definitely consider staying there.

If you can lay in your bed and listen to the waves, then you’re in paradise as far as we’re concerned!! Great location so close to ocean. The condo was as described and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Even did some cooking as the restaurant’s were all totally booked…I don’t think they were ready for the influx of tourists again! Would stay here again !

The condo could use some updating. Pictures make everything look nicer than what it really is. A lot of things could
Be replaced. The couch was very hard and not comfortable at all. We had a group of 4, but only 2 of us stayed here. It would have been uncomfortable for us all if everyone was here. Other than these minor things the views are awesome and the grounds are nice and kept.
